The elitist and self-righteous Shinjuku Busters are one of Tokyo's most prominent gangs. Commanded by corporate stakeholder Masao Tenno from his tower headquarters, they consider themselves above all else to be the closest thing Japan has to 'the good guys', feverishly seeking out and eliminating any rogue Digimon that dares to show itself in their city and threaten the established status quo.[break][break]
They possess a vicious and unforgiving rivalry with Nightmare, and are known for carrying out coordinated assaults against any splinter groups that show themselves within Shinjuku's city limits. Some view them as loyalist hypocrites or sycophants to the cold and calloused Tenno, while others see little more than naive do-gooders and corporate flunkies.[break][break]
Members of the Shinjuku Busters are obligated by the tenets set by Masao Tenno to uphold and preserve the social order that had been established since the group's inception, encouraging the complete destruction of any and all wild Digimon that might attempt to bring chaos to the city.[break][break]
However, their particular brand of justice is still treated with some measure of disdain by the Japanese legal system, and are essentially treated as criminals like the other factions. This bureaucratic bias is often the reason why some Busters choose to join the ranks; while some may actually find themselves in alignment with Tenno's extremist views, others simply dislike the red tape that surrounds most law enforcement agencies and prefer to work with people that could care less for diplomacy.[break][break]
Through Masao's numerous connections and the technologies made available by his own company, the Busters draw much of their strength from their own collections of Digi-Modify cards and rarely bring along other weapons or equipment until a bigger, far more serious threat emerges for them to dispatch. As is to be expected of the Busters, many are partnered with Digimon of the Vaccine attribute.[break][break]
[ PROFESSIONAL ][break]
Well above the amateur circuits, you refuse to accept second-rate prices. With your exclusive sources, you are able to buy packs of cards at reduced rates. Whenever buying any pack of cards, you pay 15% less Bytes than the normal cost.[break][break]
[ REVERSE BEATDOWN ][break]
You are not an opponent to be taken lightly. Whenever an enemy activates an ability or a card that augments a Digimon's statistic values, you may activate this Trait to provide your own Digimon an identical boost of equal duration. You may only use this Trait once per thread.[break][break]
[ EMPEROR'S TRADE ][break]
By trading cards with Masao Tenno himself, you are able to obtain a few choice selections, some of which cannot be found in packs. You may activate this Trait in the Dark Terminal to trigger a trade with Masao Tenno; by offering a card of Rare value or higher, he will exchange it with one of similar value.[break][break]
NB. You can only choose one of these three traits at the time of character creation.[break][break]
