[attr="class","tbox"] [attr="class","uh"] BURN LIKE WILDFIRE WIPE THAT SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FUCKING FACE | Daichi snarled as he saw the child slash the card. The air around the panther continued to flash-freeze, until the beast itself, though slowed and steeled for the incoming blow, froze entirely solid.
"You're angry at me, aren't you?" Daichi grinned. Rho flexed his clawed fingers and twitched his head towards the boy tamer. "Good. Focus on that. Let it rise to the surface. Let it start to take hold. It'll make it all the more satisfying when I break you." The boxer turned to his Digimon and nodded. Rho raised a single claw on his hand, and started off by tapping the eye of the feline, frozen over as it was.
Slowly, the Dracmon dragged the talon down across the edge of the panther's eyelid, and all the way across its whiskered, rigid muzzle. The claw sheared straight through the frozen fur and some of the flesh, dislodging it as one would scrape wax from a candle. A still red trail of frozen, digitised blood followed where he had scraped away the skin. It would sear the Digimon with agony, but the ice in his muscles would grant him no ability to resist it.
"You... you care about it, don't you?" Daichi feigned incredulity in his voice, his eyes mock-wide and his mouth agape. "You do!" He started to show his teeth, and flex his giant hands. "It's just data, you know that, right? Ones and zeroes? It's not real. The feelings and pitiful 'friendship' it claimed to have for you. All just lines of runaway code." Rho maintained his grin, picking away the last of the panther's frozen blood from his hand.
"These things are just tools," Daichi pointed instead at Rho this time. "Programs given physical form. Computer viruses." He started to add a mock sadness to his tone, false weeping undercutting his voice. "And yet one of them managed you to convince you to 'love him and care for him' just like the family dog?" He started to chuckle, clutching at his chest. "How gullible are you?! You let a self-interested computer program convince you to care for it!" His expression dropped. His face contorted. The boxer had finished speaking.
"And that's why I'll always be able to break you." With that, he rushed at the sixteen year old, first swinging in with a gut punch, before readying himself to pull him into a bear hug as a follow up, regardless of whether or not the first strike missed. With reckless abandon, Rho begun his assault in kind, striking away with both hands, frenzied, at the frozen panther.
Obito Kamigawa Subject Rho attacks Panthermon repeatedly for tiny Dark damage -- resisted -- each time. Daichi goes to punch and then grab Obito.
2 SWIPES REMAIN
01. FIRST AID - Restores a low amount of damage from the Digimon.
02. BOARD RESET - Resets the battlefield to what it was before the beginning of the fight, repairing structural damage and instantly removing any weather or terrain effects active.
03. CARD JAMMER - Immediately disables use of all Digivice card scanner functions of Digivices in the area for 3 turns, preventing the action of scanning cards during this time.
04. DISARM - Negates the currently active effects of a Weapon or Armor card that was played on an enemy Digimon, destroying the equipment in the process.
05. RECYCLE - Discard 4 cards from your deck and recover 2 that have already been used in the thread. This card does not use up a swipe.
06. EXPANSION - Expands the Digimon's to 10 times their original size. While offering increased size, it does not affect their actual strength. Lasts for 3 turns.
07. ELEMENT CHAMELEON - Shifts a single resist/weakness/null of a target Digimon to a chosen Affinity (except Absolute). Lasts for 5 turns.
08. SPIRAL TWISTER - Biyomon's signature attack. The user sends out a stream of ethereal flames to attack, dealing low Wind/Fire damage and a low chance to Burn for 3 turns.
09. CELESTIAL ARROW - Angewomon's signature attack. Launch a spear of moderate Light damage at an enemy. Inflicts Virus-attribute Digimon with Fear for three turns if it connects.
10. METAL WOLF CLAW - MetalGarurumon's signature attack. Spew a vapour of air at absolute zero, dealing heavy Water damage in melee range at every direction. Enemies weak to Water will be Frozen for three turns.
11. TANGLE VINES - Summons forth a series of vines. These can be used to make a surface climbable, or upon an enemy to have a low chance of Rooting them for 2 turns. Vines fade away after 2 turns.
12. SCATTER AUGMENT - Modifies the Digimon next ranged attack to damage all foes in a cone radius. (Minimum 5ft cone, increases by 5ft for each damage category above Tiny).
13. POOP TOSS - Allows a Digimon to summon forth a pile of gunk created from an undesirable reason. Can be tossed at one target to inflict tiny trash damage.
14. VENOM SPLASH - Splashes a single target in a venom, which has a tiny chance (must roll 90 or higher) of inflicting poison.
15. DRYNESS - Dries a 250ft radius with a bright sun for a duration of 5 posts. |

DAICHI KUMOObito's eyes widened as he heard the man's reply-- and even worse as Dracmon slowly scratched at Panthermon through the eyes-- drawing -- what Obito could only discern as blood. Obito then saw red. It wasn't blind rage, but urgency, hate-- hate that anyone could do something so cruel. "I TOLD YOU TO STOP IT!!" But he then saw as Diachi moved in-- he threw a punch to try and get to Obito. Of that, Obito backed away, trying to avoid the initial punch. He moved to his left and moved to close in the gap -- perhaps even run for the digimon picking at his partner-- but was soon grabbed in a horrible binding grip of Daichi in an lock. Panthermon was still frozen solid-- unable to react or do anything, but Obito wouldn't back down. As if his own life was on the line-- he couldn't let Panthermon die. Deleted. Die-- it didn't matter. No matter how strong Daichi grabbed him-- Obito kept fighting to break free. The stupid words of the man rang through his ears. "You are an idiot..." Obito breathed, furious, his gaze determined with his will power. "YOu have a Digimon too and you just don't get it..." "I know he is Computer Data. Do you think that even matters!?" Obito shouted back, digging his heels into the ground. Even though his arms were tight against the lock-- his hand still gripped his Digivice. "You want to know why I care so much?" He glared back at Diachi-- and the fire in his soul was made clear. "BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO!" He threw his head back as hard as he could-- the crown of his skull aimed smack to hit Daichi in the face with as much strength as Obito could muster. Even at the slightest break-- He would slip out. If possible, he ran right for Dracmon. In a full tackle, he would charge and throw the Digimon away from Panthermon-- into a pile of garbage that was scattered nearby from the fight. (OOC: Panthermon is frozen for 2 more of Daichi's posts-- Dodged first blow but stuck in lock. After emotional rebuttal, uses his own head thrown back to knock Daichi in the face. If able to pull away-- throws Dracomon away from Panthermon to protect him. )

[attr="class","tbox"] [attr="class","uh"] BURN LIKE WILDFIRE WIPE THAT SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FUCKING FACE | Daichi managed to pull the teen into a half-nelson with a snarl behind him, pulling his arms up taut. He sneered behind him, spinning him towards Rho's assault on his frozen panther. He expected the tirade of 'I love my Digimon so much', of 'you just don't understand it', with all the pubescent whining he could hear underneath the strained, pitiful, half-anger. What he did not expect was the backwards headbutt. Even for his stature, it caught him off-guard; and in a fraction of a second, the teen had squirmed loose and made for the Dracmon.
He knocked the vampire clear into a nearby pile of garbage. His faultless, eternal grin continued as it picked banana skins from its head, and bore its talons, ready to charge on his assailant again with seconds to spare. Daichi called out behind him.
"Good going, but, if it wasn't over earlier, it is now." When the boy spun, he would see the titan smiling, bearing his Digivice clearly in his right hand, with a jury-rigged LED transponder on the front beeping solidly. Pulses of red cut through dimming night. The air around the panther was still frigid. "You've got sixty seconds before a retrieval team turns up."
Daichi gingerly, mockingly stroked his jaw.
"See, you've got a little fight in you," He tucked the Digivice back into a jacket pocket. "I was just gonna toss your body in the river and beat the housecat back into scraps of data, but..." The dusky moonlight glanced across his pearly teeth. "This kind of day-one bond is gonna be something my sister's going to want to see. She'll treat you and the kitty... just fine."
"Now..." Daichi lowered his body once again, and set his feet a width apart, bending his knees. Rho was mimicking him, off in the distance. The pair of them stepped forwards in near synchronicity. Each fifteen yards from the boy and the panther. Fourteen. Thirteen. "That means I've got about fifty seconds of fun left to have with you two."
Daichi went in for the lunging uppercut and grapple once more, the first aimed once more at the Tamer. If he held his ground by his partner's side, it would surely hit him. However, as he went for the grapple, at the last second, he turned; around the other side, Rho slashed out at the boy's side with his bare hands to try and occupy him. The boxer, instead, grasped the frozen panther around its midriff.
With a strain, Daichi managed to prize the statuesque Digimon free of the floor. Ice snapped away, black flecks of broken tarmac caught in the casing. His muscles begun to strain, his face reddened; he felt his body stick to the ice, like exposed skin across a lamppost in December. Soon enough, however, he swung the stiffened mass around his back, with two front legs over one shoulder, and two back legs over the other.
Daichi cast a frenzied glare towards the boy.
"I WARNED YOU, YOU LITTLE PRICK!" The boxer screamed like a man possessed, half-speaking in tongues as his eyes widened with the weight on his shoulders and the Tamer in his sights. "I GAVE YOU THE CHANCE TO WALK AWAY, BUT YOU HAD TO STAND YOUR GROUND LIKE THE PATHETIC WRETCH YOU ARE!"
Obito Kamigawa Daichi goes for an uppercut on Obito, and then hoists a frozen Panthermon onto his shoulders. Rho slashes at Obito to attempt to occupy him during this time.

DAICHI KUMO The warning that this guy was not alone-- that a 'retrieval team' was coming pushed Obito's nerves up a notch higher. Was this some sort of digimon-capture squad that hunted and took them back to some military base? Either way, Obito would have none of it. The man charged again and tried to hit Obito-- by force of habit to avoid a direct punch he brushed away-- but was hit by Dracmon's claws right in his side! Obito shouted as the claws cut through his jacket and into his side-- drawing a small gash agianst his body. Nothing really wounding-- but the cut stung like a son-of-a-bitch. LIke when one walked through barbed wire. Obito breathed at the pain-- but soon was horrified to see Daichi nwo with the Frozen Panthermon on his back. Obito's eyes widened--- if he slammed Panthermon hard enough into the ground, he would shatter! "NO!!" Obito shouted. He reached into his pocket for a card--- ANY CARD and ran forward. He had to get around him. He would endure any pain to keep his friend alive, to now work to escape this hellish onslaught. Right as he charged forward, he took the random card and slashed it through the device. Light flashed brightly from the digivice' screen and blinded the others around him... Even Obito couldn't see what happened... ... but soon it faded, and nothing happened. Panthermon remained frozen, and nothing truly noticeable happened to stop Daichi. Obito was now in front of him-- between Dracmon and Daichi, in a rather horrible position with nothing to show for it. The boy was shocked, afraid of a solid punch imminent to his face till... "Heeey! Leave him alone, you big bully!" a seemingly easy-going toned voice whined out. Obito's eyes widened in surprise, unaware another person was there-- and sounded very close. Slowly his gaze dropped down towards their feet... ... to find an oddly colored white and purple seal with orange fur sitting there, looking up at them. The seal-like creature had big green eyes and glared at Daichi. "Why don't you pick on someone your' own size?" the Gomamon challenged. "Huh?!" Obito gasped, not sure how a Gomamon appeared-- but soon saw the card he swiped. It was Gomamon's card. Of course to Daichi, being threatened by a seal the size of his knee probably wasn't a very intimidating rescue party. However, the digimon didn't wait around to hear his thoughts. "No? Hm, don't say I didn't warn ya! SURFER DIVER!!" The seal suddenly jumped right up at Daichi, water propelled to make him charge faster and hit harder!. If Daichi was to get hit, it would definitely knock him away from Obito-- and if he was lucky, give Obito a chance to secure and catch Panthermon. At a moment's notice, Obito would move in and try remove Panthermon off his attacker. (OOC: Used BS096 - GOMAMON SUMMON - Summons one Gomamon that knows Surfer Dive (deals low Water damage to one target) for 2 turns. The Digimon fades away at the end of the duration. 1/2 left. Obito took damage from Dracmon after dodging the uppercut. Obito charges for Dai1chi to stop him from getting Panthermon taken away on his back-- and slashes a random card. A wild Gomamon intervenes seemingly from nowhere and used Aqua Diver -- low water damage on Daichi to knock him away and seperate him from the frozen Panthermon)

[attr="class","tbox"] [attr="class","uh"] BURN LIKE WILDFIRE WIPE THAT SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FUCKING FACE | The Gomamon would have been a good move had it not given itself away. The shout was enough for Daichi to spin and face the seal. The weight on his back made his muscles strain and his bones creak as it cried its attack and leapt to lunge.
Daichi could feel them. It was a peppery across every inch of his skin. A momentary, hot scraping as they sunk their mechanical, minuscule fangs into every inch of his tissue. His pupils dilated. He weaved right past the Gomamon and watched as it crash-landed past him. He nodded at the Dracmon. The Dracmon nodded back and made for the seal with a distorted burble.
The tamer, meanwhile, had been waiting for the perfect opportunity to dive. Daichi, with both arms otherwise occupied, sidestepped him with ease, and started backpedaling towards one of the wider alleyway mouths. He moved backwards through the path of the moonlight as a faint screech of rubber on tarmac started to become audible. The frozen panther on his shoulders was warming. The feel of his skin flash-seared by cold to the Digimon was starting to fade away, and the upper layers were starting to melt.
As the night cleared, and Daichi stepped beneath a column of early, pale moonlight, he cast a grin directly at the Tamer. The silvery, ethereal light danced across his eyes, pupils wide, a sliver of crimson surrounding each.
In that instant, a black riot van squealed in reverse around the corner. On each side, an armed guard with a Heckler & Koch rifle leapt down from the cab and aimed their weapons towards Daichi's adversary. Their uniforms and the van were dark and unmarked. The right-side guard lowered his weapon and moved forwards to pull the van's back doors open as the behemoth continued to slowly step backwards.
Daichi kept his gaze transfixed on the teenager as he lowered the thawing panther from his shoulders, and launched it into back of the van. The right-side guard shut both doors and drove a bolt across. The left-side guard took aim with his rifle. The boxer raised his hand to stop him.
"There are two kinds of tamers in this world," Daichi breathed heavily, widening his grin. His hands trembled for a moment, then steadied. His pupils were still dilating. "Those who understand that these things need to be controlled or destroyed," His irises were still red. The whites were starting to become bloodshot. He raised a finger. "And those who end up full of holes, floating in that fucking river."
Obito Kamigawa Subject Rho uses a basic attack on Gomamon. Daichi puts Panthermon in the back of the riot van.

DAICHI KUMO Obito was confused by the shriek and cry of the van-- but soon saw it and the men that followed after Gomamon-- though his attack wasn't a hit and even the Dracmon even countered, Obito couldn't stop. They were taking Panthermon away! "NO!!" Obito shouted and ran for the truck-- with Gomamon coming along beside him. However-- it was then that the sight of the men with the rifles urged him to a stop. The sight of the actual fire arms. It drew both him and the little seal Digimon to a stop. "Not good..." Gomamon groaned. Though only a summon, he seemed just as alive as Panthermon was. However, Obito now saw that his friend was now aboard the truck and with Daichi's words-- and his goons aiming their guns right at them... Obito felt a realization dawn on him. If he kept fighting back, he was gonna die. He would die even if he were to fight, he couldn't do anything without panthermon. He was powerless... Daichi was right. "Please... Please, no..." OBito choked, unable to do anything and stopped. His heart quivered with uncertainty and he fell onto his knees, exhausted and morally crushed. "Please... I surrender, just give him back... Give my friend back..." Gomanon seemed shock to see Obito surrender after being so quickly summoned. Still, the seal kept close to his temporary master, wishing to protect him. OOC:(Used Gomamon to attack the man with the rifle. Obito ran past Daichi and tackled the other man who was bolting the truck. Panthermon is free next turn I assume)

[attr="class","tbox"] [attr="class","uh"] BURN LIKE WILDFIRE WIPE THAT SMILE RIGHT OFF YOUR FUCKING FACE | The boy seemed as if he was bolting for Daichi at first. The boxer held his arms outstretched and bowed his knees, widening his grasp and getting ready to grapple one of his two targets. Seemingly out of nowhere, the grinning vampire materialised at his side. It was seconds before the retrieval team members barked at one another; and two green dots tangoed across the teenager's chest. The boy slipped to his knees and started to break down, finally broken.
Daichi waved the weapons down behind him and shook his head, approaching him as he offered surrender in exchange for his friend. Slowly, the titan begun to let a low, throbbing chuckle seep out. He stared at the Gomamon, who was already beginning to fade back into the Digital ether like the cheap parlour trick he had been all along. He shook his head and looked back to hte boy.
"Fucking pathetic," Daichi grabbed the boy's head and yanked his head upwards, looking at him in his state of near-catatonia. "All you Tamers claim these Digimon make you stronger. All I can see is another glaring weakness, in each and every one of you." He let his body roll free and whistled at the guards, whirling two fingers around in the air as he did so.
Each guard approached the Tamer with rifles trained on him up until close-range, when each one grasped his shoulder and dragged him to the back of the van. They tossed him in alongside the now-thawed panther, and rammed the bolt shut across the door.
The driver started the engine with a glug, and the entire van begun to shake. Daichi pulled back a fibreglass partition from the cab, and begun to chuckle down through the revealed grille into the panther's enclosure towards the duo.
"Just remember, kid," Daichi grinned wide, pressing his mouth up to the grille. "I gave you a chance to walk away from this." As he pulled the partition shut and shook his head, a whisper more could be heard: "My sister is gonna have some fun with these two..."
With no further ado, the van pulled away.
2 SWIPES REMAIN
01. FIRST AID - Restores a low amount of damage from the Digimon.
02. BOARD RESET - Resets the battlefield to what it was before the beginning of the fight, repairing structural damage and instantly removing any weather or terrain effects active.
03. CARD JAMMER - Immediately disables use of all Digivice card scanner functions of Digivices in the area for 3 turns, preventing the action of scanning cards during this time.
04. DISARM - Negates the currently active effects of a Weapon or Armor card that was played on an enemy Digimon, destroying the equipment in the process.
05. RECYCLE - Discard 4 cards from your deck and recover 2 that have already been used in the thread. This card does not use up a swipe.
06. EXPANSION - Expands the Digimon's to 10 times their original size. While offering increased size, it does not affect their actual strength. Lasts for 3 turns.
07. ELEMENT CHAMELEON - Shifts a single resist/weakness/null of a target Digimon to a chosen Affinity (except Absolute). Lasts for 5 turns.
08. SPIRAL TWISTER - Biyomon's signature attack. The user sends out a stream of ethereal flames to attack, dealing low Wind/Fire damage and a low chance to Burn for 3 turns.
09. CELESTIAL ARROW - Angewomon's signature attack. Launch a spear of moderate Light damage at an enemy. Inflicts Virus-attribute Digimon with Fear for three turns if it connects.
10. METAL WOLF CLAW - MetalGarurumon's signature attack. Spew a vapour of air at absolute zero, dealing heavy Water damage in melee range at every direction. Enemies weak to Water will be Frozen for three turns.
11. TANGLE VINES - Summons forth a series of vines. These can be used to make a surface climbable, or upon an enemy to have a low chance of Rooting them for 2 turns. Vines fade away after 2 turns.
12. SCATTER AUGMENT - Modifies the Digimon next ranged attack to damage all foes in a cone radius. (Minimum 5ft cone, increases by 5ft for each damage category above Tiny).
13. POOP TOSS - Allows a Digimon to summon forth a pile of gunk created from an undesirable reason. Can be tossed at one target to inflict tiny trash damage.
14. VENOM SPLASH - Splashes a single target in a venom, which has a tiny chance (must roll 90 or higher) of inflicting poison.
15. DRYNESS - Dries a 250ft radius with a bright sun for a duration of 5 posts. |

DAICHI KUMO Obito felt the pain of the man's grip on his hair and head as he was pulled up. THings became a blur for him as he was thrown into the truck-- knocking his head against the steel wall of it. Obito immediately saw black-- his glasses long lost back when he was pulled from and the only thing left of his in the allyway. It was then that Panthermon fully thawed out. Though his body was battered along with the cut along his face, the giant jungle cat snarled as he broke free of the last bits of ice. Though frozen, he saw everything-- and now he was pissed. As the car drove, he heard Daichi "My sister is gonna have some fun with these twp.--" "GRRROOAAAAH!!" Panthermon lunged and clawed at the grating like a furious beast. Clearly in vain-- the cat wouldn't be able to break it or fit thorugh the small hole, but the vicious slash would at least make any normal person think twice of getting too close. The tossing of the van made things more difficult, but soon the cat stopped and turned to Obito. Obito... Obito, wake up? Obito! Panthermon called with their telepathic bond... The sudden mental shock was like a jolt in Obito's head as he soon shot up. He soon realized they were in the back of the van as they were driving, and Obito vaguely remembering being thrown in. He soon got to his senses and sat up. Obito-- we need to get out now-- before we go too fast to escape. Panthermon said. Obito shook his head, regaining his composure. "But-- how?" Wait for the next turn... and be ready to charge out. Panthermon said and soon looked to the door. The cat could sense the motion of the truck. The truck began to turn-- the decrease in speed just enough and hopefully they wouldn't miss their chance. "NOW!! Panthermon charged and with all his might, rammed into the door. The truck doors creaked-- but with the turn, the bolt on the door was jarred open, and the doors opened wide with a blinding light. The sudden shift in weight, caused Obito to lurch forward-- seeing the open street and incoming traffic as he grabbed to the door while it swung open. He held on to it as swung with it-- Panthermon still inside the truck. "Obito, just let go and roll to the side! The traffic is clear on the left-- its your only way out!" The cat growled and pounced-- onto a nearby car-- which caused it to divert away, and gave Obito a chance to jump. Had the truck been at full speed, Obito wouldn't have a chance-- but now, he had to. Grimacing, Obito let go and entered a roll, hitting the concrete that scratched at his arms . However, as Panthermon's jump away-- Obito used all his focus to struggle back up to his feet-- seeing the cards move by. He quickly made his way to the sidewalk-- and with sight of Panthermon causing a stir... Obito quickly made his way towards his direction. "Panthermon, get lost... get clear and go invisible... let's head for the subway and get out of here!" He gasped, talking to 'himself' but his partner heard him. Panthermon pounced off the car and soon faded into the chaos he caused.

"Did you hear that? What the fuck was that?" Daichi snapped his head from side to side then turned to the partition. He yanked it across, and glared through the grate, bloodshot eyes up against the bars of the grille as he scanned every inch of the back of the van. The doors were wide open, the road disappearing behind them. "STOP THE FUCKING VAN!"
SCREEEEE.
Daichi shoved the passenger guard out of the way and hung off the side of the van as it ground to a halt. In the distance, beneath the peppered orange of the streetlamps and a new moon he could see the speck of the teenager sprinting away, between nighttime Shinagawa crowds. It was too late. The boy turned a corner and vanished. A pair of patrolling policemen approached the van and begun hailing the driver. The boxer stood there, staring out over the street for what felt like an eternity.
Slowly, Daichi begun to tremble. Muscle, bone, flesh, sinew, all begun to, very gently, quiver. Everything quietened down to a gentle, static whine. The rumbling of the van's engine. The incessant nattering of the groups passing by on left and right. The camera shutters clicking on either side pointed towards the debacle underway with the guards and the policemen. The distant thudding of techno in a Shinagawa nightclub. His body continued to quiver.
Daichi punched the side of the van three times, producing three sizeable dents. His hand swelled and begun to trickle from small, blunt-impact incisions between his knuckles. He growled and started to whisper under his voice.
"This isn't over, kid." Daichi panted. "Next time I see you, I'm going to rip out your fucking spine." With that, he turned towards the cab of the vehicle, launched himself in, and beckoned the driver.
