itwas difficult, commentating on a fight while trying to enjoy it herself. Doing that for eight fights was absolutely exhausting. Doing all of that while trying to drown out a loud crowd? She needed a break. It was all to let her partner react as if he could actually watch the match, all to earn his thanks and a smile for her efforts.
Totally worth it.
It would be a while until the next set of matches started. Until then, they could wander around what was essentially an underground festival where digimon could roam freely with their partners. Or without; some of the digimon here just seemed to wander around on their own. So many humans, so many digimon.
There were even some people that looked like they were in groups - with color-coordinated outfits and such. She and her partner had been given a crash-course about the major groups that were in Tokyo, and she could only assume these people were a part of them. People to be careful of.
"See anything good?" Hideo asked. She had been guiding him around the area, as it would be too easy for him to get lost in the crowds. His grip on her front leg was firm, but soft enough that it didn't hurt her. Just as she was being careful with him, he reciprocated the effort for her.
"There's a lot to choose from," she stated. Plenty of stalls selling souvenirs, performers showing off their skills, and little games to play. All different ways to waste money. But she had her priorities. "We should get something to eat before they continue. I'm in the mood for something meaty. How about you, Hideo?"
"Meaty sounds good to me!" he responded, giving a thumbs-up with his free hand. So cute... but she had to wonder how he learned to respond like that if he couldn't see other people do it. He actually seemed to know a lot of physical responses than she'd expect a blind person to know. In retrospect, it had to have been the youngest of his sisters, Nep. It wouldn't surprise her if she physically taught him to do a thumbs-up when he wanted to agree with something.
But that was something to think about later. Now she had to find a stall that looked like it sold some good meat. "Meaty it is! Now hold on tight, 'cause there's a lot to go through." @anyone that wants to join » made by wizz5 Swipes Remaining. Kaida was...exhausted. Nightmare was a nice group to be in, loyalty was a virtue she couldn't expect from anyone else, but God they could be something when the leader did something... anything. Her skin still tingled where they had touched her when Nightmare went damn near insane when the leader had won. Kaida considered most of them, or at least their Digimon, exceptional individuals, but she didn't need to be hugged by each and every one of them! So, she left, just to cool her head. The fights had been entertaining, she had to admit, Digivolution was a scenario she wanted to have Jorgie go through one day. The Serpentemon was currently wrapped tight around her neck and she unconsciously wound her bandana around his coils, his eyes were almost fluttering closed and her heart did a strange tightening trick whenever she saw him feel so safe around her. She walked through the crowds without a worry, light thoughts occupying her head instead. She had money, she needed some food right about now, and dodging underneath people who were inevitably bigger than her was not the way she wanted to spend the levity between fights. Quite suddenly, a divine smell started drifting through the air, and she lowered her head to hide the scarlet starting to creep to her cheeks and anticipatory pain laced up her jaws. Jorgie opened one eye as if reading her thoughts, and a low rumbling shook the air as Kaida patted his head. Meat. They could both use a prize for sticking together for so long. Separated from the Nightmares, she could feel eyes upon herself but didn't even bother to cover her mouth, stalking toward the wonderful smell, Jorgie acting as a sort of guide as his head swivelled around. Unfortunately for all parties involved, the path took her right toward another Tamer, and having gotten used to be a regular girl in a land of giants, she wasn't even looking down and would barrel right into the boy and spider-like Digimon if not alerted to their presence. This event was wonderful. Though she wasn't a participant herself, she didn't need to partake in the actual festivities that went on, in order to go and enjoy herself, like many of the others here. People from all different sorts of factions, had gathered together at the Shinjuku Busters Tower, in order to go and watch the matches that was going to go on. She saw many faces, and along with them were Digimon who were freely out in the open, having the most fun time that they likely ever had in their lives. None of which would be possible, without the faction's leader, who was both hosting, and participating in the event. He was sure a captivating man to behold. It took leadership, and tolerance, to be able to host something like this, among people who normally had a feud with each other. Although being together here, she knew didn't necessarily mean things were peachy. Though she was wearing the traditional gas masks and camo that Web Troopers usually wore, she was able to see for herself how not everyone had gotten along. Acts which she found to be rather harmful, for her Terriermon to see, and who she shielded its eyes from. The Digimon mistook it for a game, which made her smile, as she truthfully answered that it wasn't one. Just something she had to do, and it was it she thought of. The Digimon seemed to be satisfied enough with that response, and went back to nuzzling against her arms. She would have normally allowed it to walk, had it not been an event which held a rather large turnout. Even with its naturally enhanced scent, she was still also afraid that the Digimon might wind up getting confused. She wasn't the only one wearing the kind of outfit, which would protect a Web Trooper's identity, after all. After eight rounds sitting in the stands, five of which it took to get to the match she wanted to see the most, consisting of this tower's leader, a break was allowed. Though she really shouldn't have been, as it was truly a guilty pleasure of hers, to even partake in such a thing, she was smiling underneath the mask that she wore. The amount of money she had, were more than double the amount which she had first started out with. And all it took to get it, was betting what she had on the leader, who was confident enough not to care about Japan's laws, when it came to the faction and Digimon. Or so she had heard from her own faction. The idea that government officials knew the Shinjuku Busters took it amongst themselves to delete Digimon, before it could really go around and make headline news for itself. She would continue to do so as well again, having confidence that if the leader and host of the event, could really make it past the first round, then the case might be the same for at least the second round as well. He had explicitly say that he had intended to win. But surely, there must have been someone who could give the leader a challenge, even if participating in something like bets, was giving her money she would need. Walking away from a particular stall, which happened to sell some yakiniku, which she bought for the Digimon, there was also another thing on her mind. An event like this, which had numerous people, was an opportunity. One which she could use to trade her own cards, knowing she had a few she didn't need, along with a few fragments that others might actually end up needing. Her eyes glanced around the tower, while her Digimon chewed the stick of meat it was holding, its cheeks slightly puffing out as it did. It ate as carefully as she had taught it to, rather than just diving straight in. There were lots of people here, although out of all of them, what had caught her eye, had to have been a boy with a spider Digimon. He looked much younger than most of those who had likely came to this event. If the Digimon was truly his partner, that had been a four year difference from when she had met her Terriermon. Maybe even a lot more, depending on its age. "Excuse me?"She hadn't hesitated to call for their attention, which for her appearance, and wave that she had gave, wasn't something which should be difficult. Especially as she had moved towards them, to make it much easier. Although before she really could, someone else seemed to already have. Of course, it was only natural to wait, or perhaps even include the unexpected party, into what she had intended to ask the boy and his Digimon. "I've got a couple of questions I'd like to ask you specifically, though the most important one, and could apply to the both of you, would have to be if either of you would like to trade."She pulled out her collection, which consisted of at least over 40 cards, if counting the fragments. It was carefully fanned out from a distance, before being just as quickly folded back. The idea, after all, was to gesture what she was trying to ask.

despitethe hustle and bustle of the crowds, it wasn't too hard to keep an eye on each individual person. Most people there were here in pairs - human with their digimon partner - and it was very obvious who was in a group - they shared uniforms, with a small change or two here and there. Kuki and Hideo had received a crash course on who the major players were in the city and what they wore, so it only made it easier for her to identify which group was with which.
Which was why her attention was drawn to someone in camouflage and a gas mask who shouted to them, waving before walking towards them. They wore the uniform of the Web Troopers.
Kumomon had less reason to be suspicious than if this person were, say, approaching them in the middle of a park at night. And if they tried anything sketchy, they'd likely earn the ire of not only everyone around them, but also the Busters group hosting this event.
That didn't stop her from placing a leg in front of Hideo to stop him from moving, earning a surprised look from the boy. "Did you find something?"
"Not yet. Looks like someone wants to talk to us first."
The Web Trooper - a woman by the sound of her voice through her gas mask - approached them to ask some questions. Them specifically, as she worded it, which earned a a suspicious look from Kuki. "Oh, ask away!" her partner responded, a carefree smile on his face.
She'd just have to be careful that he didn't reveal anything too compromising. Even she knew that some of the people here would try to gather information on others, for whatever purposes they had in store.
But it would seem this girl's intention was to request a trade. It seemed innocuous enough, and she did display a rather large collection of cards. Larger than what Hideo brought with him, which consisted of all the cards he had.
"I guess I could take a look-"
WHUMPF Hideo was cut short when a white-haired girl seemed to attempt to walk right through him.
Kuki was quick to act, moving as soon as the two humans made contact. She dashed right behind her partner, catching him with four of her limbs before the boy even knew what happened, before either of his feet were off the ground. Simply using two of her limbs would have been enough, but she wanted to make sure her catch was as comfortable as possible for him, and it made the job of reoriented the boy that much easier.
The confused look on his face made it obvious he didn't know what just happened, but apart from that, he looked unharmed. Good.
She looked over at the white-haired girl, fury in here eyes. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" she shouted. She'd have thought a human that size would be less likely to bump into a child by accident.

Kaida twitched slightly as a woman (at least she thought it was a woman behind that gas mask) called out to her, her eyes flying up to peer at her. If she had been distracted walking before, now she was completely blind to whatever was going on below her line of sight. Jorgie was also distracted, head shooting up and observing the masked woman with disdain, at least until she proposed something actually useful to them: a trade. Kaida didn't catch enough of a look to determine the card's value from where she currently was, and squinted as she walked forward, digging into her pockets to try and find her trade worthy cards, " You got someth-oof!" She bumped into something...smaller than her? Hastily, she twisted as she fell, at least managing to not land on whatever it was. Unfortunately, this sent her Digivice (and Jorgie) flying, and she flinched as the clatter rang out. " Rrrgh, dammit!" She spat as anger burned under her skin, picking it up and inspecting it as her Serpentemon made his way back to her side, carrying her bandana. Nothing was broken, thank God! "Hey! Watch where you're going!Kaida whipped her head around to glare at whoever had the audacity to yell at her for taking an unfortunate tumble, opening her mouth for a retort, " How did you-huh?" and stopped...a kid? An actual kid. Were Digimon choosing whoever they saw first or something!? She also glanced at the spider Digimon, and heard Jorgie snort at the eye-burning pink, and Kaida puffed out a breath. Without a word, she stood up and dusted herself off, glancing around to see a crowd was staring. " Who the hell do you think you're staring at!?" And privacy restored. Her head swiveled between the woman and kid, and she became aware that she had been talking to more than one person and pointed to the kid, " Him too?" She mumbled, this trade might actually be something useful! Rukia Date Hideo Kino

Things were so different up close.
As a member of the Web Troopers, she couldn't exactly say that she had perfect vision, having gotten into the hobby that came with coding, since joining the group.
But with or without those kind of limitations, one was just able to notice a lot more, when actually being near who they wanted to talk to. This pair was a cute one.
Just how long had these two been together? That was what she found herself wondering, before the question she had actually gave the two, caused a bit of trouble.
The white-haired woman who seemed to have headed towards the pair, actually bumped into them instead.
It was a sight she shielded the eyes of her Terriermon away from, the Digimon shifting in her arms at how sudden it was, which she soothed by stroking its fur.
Neither of the two seemed to actually be hurt, thankfully, allowing her to get closer without any further hassle, as the looks given by others were brushed off.
Giving a simple nod to answer the question, she took a glance at the woman's own Digimon, while taking away the finished stick of meat, her Terriermon had held.
These two had to have been apart of the Nightmare faction, if their personality, and fondness for the more darker colors, was any indication of it at all.
But she didn't mind. It was the reason she had said it applied to both of them in the first place.
No matter what faction someone was, there was always a chance they might had some good cards.
The boy was young, and his Digimon seemed to talk a lot more for him, but age didn't matter. Though it was certainly an interesting sight to spot, of those here.
"Even if it's just one, I won't overlook someone's age, if its trading cards."
Carefully fanning out her cards again, as she shifted her Terriermon around to better hold it, the deck was pretty organized by card name, with those on her right listing off various fragments. Duplicates were aplenty around.
"I'm looking for more wind fragments, and wish to rid myself of some of these duplicates for something of value. One guy didn't respond back, to clarify what he had wanted."
She had lightly shrugged at the latter part, as she recalled trying to trade away her duplicates on Digi Modify, only to have not gotten an actual response.
It would be a waste to hold onto something she never even got an answer for. From what they did talk about, there didn't seem to be much agreement anyway.
Having equally displayed it to the both of them, her Terriermon looking at all of the parties with a curious stare, the cards were folded into a deck again.
Showing off like this, was practically the equivalent of waving money around, just to have people see it.
She wouldn't exactly say either, that these didn't have the same value, knowing what it had cost.
"If I had to pick, it would be one of those Training Manuals, and Card Mine, if you can't part with that vehicle card. I'd be willing to give up beyond duplicates, if either of you would like?"
She already had a lot of summoning cards and signature attack ones, that it was starting to become something she had saw had less value, even if it was powerful.
As someone willing to buy more packs, and only needing the money to do so, it wouldn't be a loss for her.

Itlooked (and sounded) like the girl that bumped into Hideo had a much rougher fall than he did. As far as Kumomon thought, good. That's what she deserved for carelessly bumping into her partner like that.
Hideo seemed to be much more sympathetic to the girl though. "H-hey! Are you okay? I'm sorry about that, really!" He'd reached out to try and help the girl up, though his hand wasn't close to where the girl's was - but he was clearly offering it to her.
It was that kindness that made Kumomon like him so much, even if she wanted to tell him he was 0% at fault for what happened. It was more than anyone else in the crowd did, who was just standing around watching the scene until the girl shouted at them to go away.
Kumomon gently pushed Hideo's arm down, telling him, "It's alright. She pulled herself up, and it doesn't look like she got herself hurt." She looked back at the Web Trooper girl. That gas mask made it impossible to gauge how the girl was reacting to the whole situation. It did look like she covered her digimon's eyes from the whole affair - a small green/white digimon with large floppy ears holding some meat on a stick...
The smell reached her pretty quickly, penetrating through all the other aromas that rested in the air. It was absolutely divine. She knew at that moment she needed some of that.
It seemed like the Web Trooper was still trying to make her trade offer, this time including the girl they had bumped into in the offer. Kuki resumed her position on her partner's back, taking another look at what the girl had available, though her attention was stuck to the Terriermon's food.
Her attention was drawn back when she heard the Web Trooper mention specific cards that Hideo had. For a moment, Kumomon was confused as to how she was aware of that until she looked down and saw Hideo had taken his cards out. She reasoned he must've done it out of sheer politeness, even if he couldn't see anyone's cards. She'd really need to keep an eye on him - you never knew why people would want to see what cards he had...
She gently pushed his arms back down. "I'm sorry, but we aren't really interested in trading right now." Hideo got the hint, putting his cards back in his pocket. Her gaze moved back to the Terriermon. "But that food your partner has..." She pointed to the stick the digimon was holding, just to make it clearer what she was talking about. "Could you tell us where we can find some of that? We were looking for something to eat before the next set of matches start, and I'd be grateful for the help."

Kaida noticed as the kid stuck his hand out, and noticed something interesting. His hand wasn't even pointed at her. It was almost like he...couldn't...see. A blind kid with a pink Digimon, her situation just got more ridiculous, didn't it? Jorgie didn't notice the obvious signs, and opening his mouth slightly in a threatening grimace, perhaps it was a good thing the boy couldn't see. Kaida let out a harsh cough, as if to point out her position, " Mm-hm. It's fine." She stared a little while longer, before proceeding to turn back to the masked woman, that kid was never going to survive like that, not in this kind of world. She didn't need to worry, and the only thing she should be focusing on was herself and Jorgie. They were going to need to fight harder, if these guy's cards were the ticket to safety, then so be it. Her hunger was nearly forgotten, even with the meat blantly in her face, replaced with a different hunger. She didn't even mind the woman seemed to know her cards, she had dropped her Digivice, she had some cards in, she probaly looked...ok, that bothered her a little, but no matter. The kid's Digimon seemed to be making the decisions for him, and she let out a noisy snort, curling her lip. Now where had she also seen a duo where the Digimon made the calls, without thinking she managed to blurt out, " Let him figure out the damned trade." The words were out. She raised her hand slightly, as if to bat the words out of the air. Why did she say that!? She let out another cough, to smother her embarrassment, and continued on like her interruption hadn't happened. " Have Training Manual. No Wind. Water good?" She sounded as if she didn't even know how to talk, but she was simply cutting down the time it took to get words out, she felt she was succeeding. " The Metal Wolf Claw, I like it. I like the Dark fragment too." She didn't care if the kid made an offer too, nor did she help them find the source of the meat. She didn't break eye contact, expecting either a success or counter. The fall hadn't seemed too bad in her eyes.
Though things like that, were always easier to watch, than actually experience. The sight was something she hid from her Terriermon, only because the Digimon was able to empathize with things, far more than she could.
She had watched as the young boy had apologized, even though it wasn't at all his fault, and interestingly enough, his outreached hand had been nowhere near the woman.
That had to have been a sight issue, right? It was difficult to tell, knowing how some people could be.
There were people who looked like they were squinting, but actually just had thinner eyes than one thought.
Didn't make them much different from anyone else, but if this kid was blind, it did show he needed more help than most would. Which only made her more curious.
If he had been to the digital world at all, just how was he able to slash the cards so efficiently? The spider seemed to call the shots, but that wasn't always a guarantee.
If the Digimon was smart, or under the guidance of a Tamer who was, the two would wind up being separated.
Strangely, her offer was declined, despite the boy having said earlier he had been fine with taking a look.
Though it wasn't something she would really push, if the spider had really believed they didn't need it.
Instead, the yakiniku that her Terriermon had been eating, but finished up, was pointed out instead.
Reasonably, knowing how long the matches had went on. She had bought enough for the Digimon to enjoy as they had looked around, with the sticks being disposed of, whenever she had saw the chance to go do so.
Her own appetite, was left more in the hands of commodities like a bottle of water, than it really was with consuming any sustenance, outside of breakfast.
The expenses she made however, could never really be enough, if it was what her Terriermon had wanted.
Right now it was satisfied, and just following the conversation with its eyes, as it listened in.
Before she could really go on and respond however, the other woman had spoke out of her opinion, on the spider having declined for its Tamer on trading.
"Ah, it's fine, really. An offer can't really be enforced."
In cases like these, at least. Conflict could start, if one were to really be reckless at an event like this.
Though a couple of cards weren't really something which would be worth it, having had only a collection of forty.
"I'd still like to talk to you two about other stuff, if you're willing to do so on the way there. Nothing I believe is too personal."
But her perspective of things were also rather different than others. What she believed people could be open about, the Digimon might actually think differently.
Though if her offer to lead them was also going to be declined, then the other woman wouldn't be incorrect about the spider being a bit too cautious.
"I'm sure I can find someone who needs the Water Fragment, yes. A two for two it is."
Giving a slight nod to the offer she was getting, heated as it seemed to be from the spider's decision, she had pulled out the cards from her deck, and pocketed away the rest inside the case that she kept it in.
The Terriermon in her arms had perked up, leaning a bit over to watch the exchange, as she carefully held it out.

Kumomonglared at the snake digimon wrapped around the girl's neck. Even if Hideo couldn't see the threatening grimace and was completely nonreactive to it, she could, and she understood the message behind it. She was ready to strike out if the snake even tried to get close to him.
Her glare only moved to the girl when she snapped at Kuki for not letting Hideo do trading on his own. How could he trade cards without help? He barely knew his own cards - there was no way he could know what they were worth. But she didn't want to admit to everyone that Hideo was blind - she might as well put a glowing sign on him saying "easy target". Not that she'd let him be an easy target, but it'd be easier if that fact wasn't just blurted out.
But to her surprise, Hideo answered her instead. "She's just watching out for me. She knows a lot more about these cards than I do, so I can trust her judgement for trading." Not a complete lie - she did know a lot more about these cards than he did - in the sense that 5% was much larger than 1%. At least she could read the text on them, but card rarities was something way beyond her comprehension.
She was pretty impressed. She'd expected him to just tell the truth - and he was pretty straight-faced with that half-lie. Seemed like he was a bit more clever than she'd been giving him credit for. And at least the Web Trooper girl was being more reasonable about it all.
Hideo nodded at the Web Trooper's request. "That's fine! Feel free to ask what you want!"
"Nothing too personal, though," Kuki added, a thin veneer of humor over her words with a fairly forced blink. While this girl had been much nicer than the one that bumped into Hideo, she would have to be careful he didn't reveal anything too compromising. No doubt he'd remember what Kara warned him about sharing too much.
She watched as the two girls exchanged cards. She didn't recognize either of them, so she didn't have much to learn from the situation. Hopefully they wouldn't take long; she could feel her mouth water as her gaze was drawn back to the Terriermon's stick of meat. She had to be careful not to drool on her own partner.

Kaida brightened up considerably as the trade actually went through, though her mouth stayed the flat almost frown she was always in, her eyes flickered as she peered at her cards. She even only grunted as the boy explained his partner's decisions were made to "look after him". She still didn't quite like it for reasons that played over and over in the back of her head, but she didn't feel like arguing over a trivial issue for some stranger, with a stranger. I'd still like to talk to you two about other stuff, if you're willing to do so on the way there. Nothing I believe is too personal.Kaida mulled this offer over a few seconds before shrugging, " Sure. Nothing much, yeah?" This woman seemed rather down to business, long as it stayed that way, Kaida could stick around. Hideo Kino Rukia Date

You don't have to worry...
“I'll be there to save you.” Deck BS011 - Power Driver Raises the user's Strength by 10 points for 2 turns.
BS134 - Berenjena W The user equips Beelzemon's ferocious shotgun. It only possesses two rounds, after the use of which it will immediately dissipate, but each shell deals heavy Dark damage. The resultant explosion deals Dark damage to adjacent targets. Digimon only.
BS034 - Board Reset Resets the battlefield to what it was before the beginning of the fight, repairing structural damage and instantly removing any weather or terrain effects active.
BS066 - Justice Blaster W Part of the Digimon's body or limb is turned into a giant gun barrel similar to Deputymon. It is capable of firing large metal bullets with surprising accuracy. Inflicts moderate Metal damage but only has two shots. Fades away after 3 turns.
BS085 - Nova Flame Greymon's signature attack. The user launches explosive ball of fire, dealing moderate Fire damage to the target and low Fire damage to anything nearby as splash damage.
Tension.
She wasn't sure if that was really the word to describe the spider Digimon, who seemed to keep shooting glares around. Whether it was at the woman, or the Digimon around her neck, she found it too endearing to accept.
Spiders might have been known for being a pest, when it came to their real world counterparts, but she just didn't see that with this one. The hostility it showed, was clearly meant in good tastes, rather than just to harm.
Something she wasn't quite sure if the woman and her snake Digimon, were really able to see, let alone even care for. People had different viewpoints, after all.
While she gave the boy and his Digimon the kind of respect that they deserved, she couldn't really stop someone else from being upset at another.
Just try and calm the situation down. But she was thankfully not the only one. The boy had spoken up about what the other woman had called out, though she still found it was okay if they didn't trade.
Which the chiming in by the boy, seemed to indicate he was still going along with his Digimon's idea of declining.
She at least would get something out of this exchange, even if it wasn't necessarily going to be as fruitful as it would be, if it had been two trades at once.
Though it wasn't something that would be shown, with her face being concealed and all. Her request to talk to the two, had at least been accepted, with the spider Digimon adding in a condition, the boy had forgotten.
It brought back in her mind again, the idea of what the spider might have considered to be personal, and what she didn't. Her questions weren't complicated.
They were more to create conversation than anything, and quite possibly give the kind of insight of those participating in the tournament, that she couldn't see.
Nodding in response to the condition, she had given the two cards to the other woman, and received the ones she had requested. They were held up just enough for her Terriermon to see it, the Digimon's expression lighting up, before she pocketed the cards away.
Giving it a quick head pat, as she shifted her position again to better hold it, she turned towards the boy and his spider, to find the other woman speaking up.
Her questions had been meant for the younger pair, but she supposed if the Nightmare had wanted to join in, she'd treat it the same way as she did with cards.
"I don't believe it'll be too personal, and it shouldn't take long either, yeah."
She had answered both pairs, starting with the kid and his spider Digimon, before moving onto the woman and her snake. Walking ahead of the two, her eyes glanced around, wondering if she missed anything earlier.
"I guess the first thing would be which cards you two favor. I know for you it seems to be dark fragments, and stuns?"
She could only really guess with the latter, as the duplicate she traded away, didn't have much of anything noteworthy in it, beyond the stun it had.
The fact that she had been given a water fragment, had also further supported the idea it wasn't the water aspect of the card that was necessary.
"I buy a lot of cards, so I'm pretty willing to look out for any, in the case we run into each other again. It's really no trouble."
The other pair had yet to tell of theirs.

ThisWeb Trooper girl was certainly down-to-business, that much was for sure. No sooner did the trade complete that she was on to her next question, asking what cards Hideo and the Nightmare girl were interested in. A bit suspicious of a question, but her justification of buying a lot of cards alleviated a few of Kumomon's doubts. "If I had to say what kinds of cards I liked..." he began. Silently, she prayed he didn't say "summons". She'd seen the way he felt that Gabumon when they were testing cards out at the park. No way did she want him doing that to anyone else. "...I'd have to go with utility cards. Kind of like the ones that make your digimon fall slower, or let us humans do cool stuff." Kuki smiled. That was a good answer to her. "So what else you got for-" bzzzztHuh. That was a weird sound. And it sounded like it came from Hideo. The sound rang out a few more times as her partner took his phone out of his pocket. He pressed a few buttons, the same motion she remembered him doing to check text messages he received through a text-to-speech program as he moved it close to his ear."kenshin yamishin found dead. looks recent so the killer might still around. lock the place down! SPREAD THE WORD"What the hell? She pulled his arm over so she could see if she heard right. To her horror, it was 100% correct: there was even an image as the very first text of the corpse. Was that what a dead human looked like? Thank god Hideo couldn't see it...
A commotion could be heard throughout the hall, a mix of phone rings and people expressing their surprise about what they were getting. Even the Nightmare girl and the Web Trooper girl would get the same exact message with the same exact picture at the very top.
"H-hey?" Hideo murmured, clearly confused. "What's going on? Did Kenshin actually get killed?" Kaida Adachi Rukia Date @anyone else » made by wizz

Kaida trotted next to the Web Trooper woman, her face twitched slightly into a smile, good deal all around. Too bad the kid didn't want to take advantage of this, but she supposed that if he wanted to lose an opportunity, she would let him. He wasn't Nightmare after all. I guess the first thing would be which cards you two favor. I know for you it seems to be dark fragments, and stuns?Kaida thought this over for a second, then shook her head swiftly, " Not really. Cards with high power, different elements are nice." She answered rather generally, a little bit of detail wasn't going to hurt her chances, and the details she did give were obvious enough that someone could figure out by watching her fight. All in all, she was fine giving up this information, maybe not a Buster, but a Trooper interested in trade was a safe enough option. Ztt. Ztt!Oh what now? Her tiny positive expression faded momentarily, and she snatched out her phone, if a battle was going to start, she was aware! She didn't move as fast as the kid, eyes grazing the fateful text a second before his phone blurted out the news. kenshin yamishin found dead.Kenshin was dead. Kaida checked the name. It was Nightmare, they wouldn't lie. Scrolled down. A picture of gore and brutality greeted her, and her throat burned as her stomach made an effort to expel its contents. She had seen bloody scenes however, and managed to keep it down and instead twisted her face into a mask-like scowl, " Yes." She hissed in reply to the kid's question, feeling the phone bite into her palms as she squeezed it far too much. Quite suddenly, she exploded. " Goddammit! Fuck!" She paced like a wild animal, stomping in her fevor and letting loose a furious growl in her throat, then whipping her head towards the Web Trooper, " Hey. Anything from you? Troopers know lots." She snapped, they had to at least have some information! All they did was get information! Hideo Kino Rukia Date

BS085 - Nova Flame Greymon's signature attack. The user launches explosive ball of fire, dealing moderate Fire damage to the target and low Fire damage to anything nearby as splash damage.
Now they were getting somewhere.
The spider had already made it clear that the pair was rather secretive for whatever reason, and the boy was willing to continue being that way, if his partner had wanted him too. This had fortunately not crossed lines.
She tried to be as earnest as she could, while muffling through this gas mask, as her intentions really had been true, that she was willing to help out if need be.
Utility was something the boy had managed to answer on his own, rather than the spider, which meant a lot more than it normally would to her.
The two didn't really have a bad relationship, but the dependency, even if he was blind, was proving to be a bit much. Even she didn't go that far with her Terriermon. It was the complete opposite, really.
The Digimon in her arms, was more like a toddler she was so willing to take care of, than anything and anyone else. So while she could relate to the idea of wanting to protect, she did have an extent to it.
The woman's response had been a rather close guess, to what she had assumed was the reason, Metal Wolf Claw was picked in the first place.
Strong cards and different elements were what she tended to try keeping around as well, just enough not to be surrounded by just armor.
There wasn't really much of a point in defense after all, if it meant one couldn't attack. Though that did leave the question if it was just politeness, that the woman hadn't opted to ask about her Ouryuken.
It wasn't a deal she would hesitate trading, so long as she had received something of value back. Which at the moment, really had been that training manual.
Before she could really comment on what had been said, the sound of buzzing alerted her, and from what she could see around, she hadn't been the only one.
Carefully taking out her phone, a certain alias popped up on the screen, which she had quickly recognized.
Though it hadn't been with good intentions. The sight that popped up on her phone, she didn't hesitate to swipe down after seeing what it was about.
But she didn't really need to read what conversations were already popping, as the two others with her made their own comments on what was going on.
The boy seemed more confused than anything else, compared to the woman and the rage she was showing for this guy. Was he someone she personally knew?
"Die? Who did it?"
She slipped her phone back away to avoid any potential damages, her Terriermon chiming in as well.
Not really the best time, though it had to have been somewhat of a snap to reality, to hear such innocence.
She wasn't going to have someone hurt its feelings, for something it's mind was too young to understand.
The cursing was already a bit bad enough to have it go hear. It was fortunate it didn't focus on that.
"I know the guy that sent the message, though he's not a Web Trooper, but a Nightmare. I don't doubt that he's already looking into it. I can give you his number if you wish."
It was supposed to be a bit of comfort to the woman, painting her faction in a better light, when it came to this whole matter. What happened was worrying, but she was a civilian before anything else, and this kind of thing just wasn't anything she was willing to dive into herself.
Extending her hand out with the assumption she could type it in, she wondered what the boy's thoughts was on the matter, and much more welcome, the spider's.
"I can try to look into it as well, but I'm not really the sort to hunt anyone down. It's tragic what happened, though it's something more to hope not to run into, than to stop."
