The young man tried to not be distracted as Red marched up to the foolish, filming bystander and made his day a whole lot worse.
He was reading some rather disturbing news on the Encrtype while pinky gushed over Red's disregard for private property.
"Someone's dead, huh?" He commented blandly as he finished typing an appropriately 'panicked' text through the phone, humming as he pocketed the device . Now, what to do?
"They messed up long before this happened, pinky." He commented with a hum as he began to walk back towards the arena, walking past the short teenager and the red head. "They let a supposed tamer hunter into the tournament roster, after all. That Daichi Kumo fellow supposedly killed a man in broad daylight."
And lo and behold, only a couple of hours after this was informed, a dead man turned up in the tournament.
"Gee, I wonder who could have done this?" He wondered with a hum, shrugging at the other two. He thought the answer was very obvious.
Then again, what did he know? There were a lot of people inside the tower and he hadn't met more than 3 of them so far. For all he knew, there were a lot of unhinged people. Heck, for all he knew, Eagleheart had killed his opponent himself, unlikely as it seemed.
"Ah well, I'm actually curious of how this will go." With any luck, he wouldn't end up like a cat.
"You guys should probably go home, though. Wouldn't want anything to happen to such dear, close friends." Bad jokes aside, he didn't want anything bad to happen to Red and Pinky, rude and childish respectively as they may have been.

Mirrormon quirked his head as soon as Nishikata began to... gush over her partner. For him, her behavior had been nothing short of outright barbaric and he couldn't imagine it garnering her an admirer, but... that seemed to be the case.
"Your tamer is surely an... interesting person." He told the Fanbeemon who had been dubbed as Cado before, waving his apology off. In all frankness, it made him curious. "Guess that if he's anything like mine, life must be pretty entertaining around him, amiright?"
Of course, that friendly atmosphere had to met a premature end, and even if the redhead would probably be reticent at sharing her contact information with somebody she had just met, the topic changed drastically as soon as the news of somebody being found dead sprang. Kasumi looked at her cellphone quickly before finally adding. "Well, ain't this interesting, even if not entirely unexpected." She said, shrugging before looking at the other two humans. "I gotta say I'm curious on how the gangs will react to this, honestly. For now, I think we're leaving, Mirrormon."
Without even minding Yellow's comment, both teenager and digimon turned back, the latter casually waving at the group as she began heading to the tower's exit.

There was something about the yankee that unsettled Nishikata Fumi. He couldn't decide if it was the carefree response to someone's death, or the cracking of jokes at such an obviously inappropriate time. He caught himself glaring, and averted his gaze. "Very interesting," Cado agreed. "Gets into trouble easily. Bit of a temper on him." The other disconcerting thing was that Red seemed similarly unphased by the entire event. This was a genuine bona fide murder happening in the broad daylight of Tenno Tower's shady dealings with security, and the blatant disregard Shinjuku Buzzards held for safety. He checked his phone again. See, there was even a message from Tenno himself. Not concerned! It was like this was an upside down world. Left was right, black was white and Japan had a standing military. But with Red marching off, and yankee probably being the worst kind of comfort company he could keep, Fumi made the reasonable decision. "Cado, let's get going. Outside." The Digimon nodded, de-volved to his smaller, cuter form and commenced the pretence of being a plush doll. Fumi, for his part, ran off without sparing the yankee another glance or greeting. He had other things on his mind. For one, that the Web Troopers were not a gang. Not a gang! And for two, he really needed to get in touch with the rest of 'em and see what was buzzing on the network. Behind him, there were the angry shouts of a man only recently separated from his mobile phone, and the cheers and laughter from some of the others. Didn't seem like they had the sense to check Encrtype. At least one had a good excuse. [ EXEUNT ] Kasumi Iwamoto Toshiro Emiya |

Well. That took care of those two. With any luck, they wouldn't be getting into any trouble from here on out.
A bit hypocritical of him to think that while walking towards a site of a murder, but regardless.
He was beginning to wonder if he should perhaps stop redoing his bleach. It didn't usually interfere with his interactions, but it, ironically, seemed to have formed some sort of ridge between him and the pink dye kid.
"... Nah." He had been sporting the bleached look for 2 years now. He frankly didn't even remember what he looked like before in the mirror. Plus, it was just one kid he likely wouldn't see ever again. No point in thinking too hard about it.
"Now..." Time to go figure out this murder case. Hopefully any nightmares around the area wouldn't take offense to his snooping about.
