Power...
“Is something that can be taken away.” Deck SC11 - Energy Drink Summons forth a high-octane energy drink for one target Digimon to drink. When consumed, it raises that target's Dexterity by 2 for a duration of 3 turns.
SC15 - Rain Splash Allows a Digimon to call upon the power of the rain, splashing one target and inflicting tiny Water damage.
SC27 - Dampen Wets a 250ft radius with a light rain for a duration of 5 posts.
Survival.
Most would call it impressive, if they knew just the kind of energy that the bear lacked, compared to others.
But she had watched its movements with disdain. Despite the lack of signs of it slowing down, even with the light rain matting its fur, she knew the time would come.
Without the Digimon pushing itself past its Rookie stage, into one that was more competent, it couldn't have possibly last long enough to see this Greymon's defeat.
The bear was going to pass out. Be in the way of everyone else in the area, who still had the energy to fight. That look on its face wasn't going to save it.
The expression was something she recognized to be determination, in what would have otherwise been a losing battle, without the assistance of those here.
It was that kind of assurance, that made it all the more annoying, as it was nothing it normally bothered to show.
She was used to seeing its limbs shake in some way, and on the verge of wishing to just lie around.
It wasn't something she'd consider progress, until he was able to digivolve past this small form of his.
The flying and heavy strikes by the Greymon, the bear had managed to dodge like a lot of the others.
Her eyes hadn't always been able to watch it, having to move away from the area herself, while keeping track of those around her. An issue plenty could forget.
So many saw themselves as the center of their own world, that she doubted it was difficult to be lost in all of the tension, this Digimon was bringing around.
Attacks flew by, some of which were more powerful than the last, but no one was really batting an eye.
They couldn't, really. Though what they didn't notice, was just something which would only prove to be her gain.
Digimodify.
Taking out a second card, and might be the last she'd be able to use before this thing was taken down, she swiped the card, furthering the rain that they already created.
It didn't matter if the Greymon was weak to it or not. What did, and what she would prove, is that it was going to be an attack that would wind up doing something.
That was just about everything, everyone here could really hope for, against a beast like this.
"Rain Splash!"

Between all their attacks and efforts, they really were wearing the enemy down! The data began to leak out from the Greymon and one of his horns were gone. From the ground around with the other tamers, Obito saw the others attacks. They were not only stronger but were doing greater damage. He could only hope that Akio was doing okay as well as his other 'guildmates' from the Busters. Panthermon was doing a good job evading the fireballs, as was he evading the allies crossfire while he moved in for his melee attacks. From the side of the battle, Obito saw him move around via the screen interface of his digivice-- able to see everything Panthermon was able to as well. Even though the battle felt close to being won, Obito was not about to lighten up . With another flick of his hand, he drew out another card. "ALright, Panthermon. One more upgrade," Obito shouted to him, "Let's show them what we are capable of!" With his arms crossed, he slashed the second card, completing the combo he held close to his heart. "DIGIMODIFY! Speed, Activate!" he shouted and slashed the card through. Panthermon felt the same electric charge from the card swipe-- and the additional surge that made the cat feel he had O.D.ed on Caffeine or something. His fur stood on end as his body appeared like static on a television. His own data was going into a strangely heightened state of overdrive, running faster than ever before. A panther-like roar echoed from around the battlefield--- --- and he vanished in a flash of movement. While he was fast before, the rookie Digimon was no longer visible, only as streaks and blurs along the battlefield. From Obito's view-- Panthermon was just gone. THe Digivice couldn't even properly relay back what Panthermon saw, now resorted to a form of 'tunnel vision' as the cat blitzed around the battlefield. And it was only then could they see it. A sudden series of streaks swarmed all over the Greymon. Like flashes of lasers-- both white and black-- Panthermon slashed all over the dinosaur Digimon. Slashes of light and darkness flashed all over his body, moving too fast to track or catch even if the beast tried. In truth, Panthermon was now so fast, he was leaving attacks all over the creature. Even if they were small, they were all adding up extremely fast. From where Obito was, even he was surprised as he saw his partner just blitz all over Greymon, leaving attacks in every place he crossed. He never imagined his Digimon could move this fast. Summary: 2/6 Cards used-- SPeed driver, Cat Claws. Stats: Increased by Cat Claws (2/3 duration), Ghost of the Jungle(2/4 duration), Speed Driver (1/2) and Wildcard.Exe Passive.
VITALITY: 5 > 7

DEXTERITY: 6 > 29

◄ WHAT'S HAPPENED TO THIS CITY? This was getting ridiculous. Despite being covered in wounds, and even losing a horn, this damn Greymon just wouldn't give up the ghost. The Champion-level had eaten so many attacks it was ridiculous, but it just kept swinging."Just fall already, damn it!" Shimato yelled, before having to avoid the falling rubble caused by the reptile's tail swing. He could see his partner still running circles around the Greymon's feet, waiting for another time to strike.Deciding that he had had quite enough of slaloming around rubble and fiery, hellish hail from above, the young man quickly reached for two cards from his pocket and swiped them. Super Optimizer and Wolf Claw were both accepted by the card scanner, and the cards quickly began to effect Tumble.
The ToyAgumon began to glow again, much like he had when his Tamer used Speed Driver on him previously. Tumble began to feel much stronger over all, and a claw made out of ice formed over his hand. Ignoring the cold sensation, the Rookie-level dashed headlong at the Greymon and ran the Wolf Claw along the beast's side. Just as the claw began to dissipate, Tumble launched another Toy Meteor at the Greymon's chest. Horn Buster

Fanbeemon continued zipping around the Greymon, narrowly avoiding the blazing fire from the gargantuan Digimon, but also the attacks coming in from around it; the plethora of tamers who had all conspired to pound down a dino. It was a sight that bolstered spirits. If only Fumi could see, Cado thought. He spotted his tamer ducking out of a street, running about like he was some super hero in a kids' show. Really, that kid needs to grow up. The Digimon hoped his partner wouldn't do anything stupid. He whizzed about the Greymon, unleashing another volley of poisonous barbs. Pity the corrupted beast appeared resistant.

He wasn't sure how everyone else could remain calm after all of this. Sure, this was a lot of digimon against a single one, but who couldn't differentiate between the damage it could inflict and the damage an average person could take. Surely, a single one of the giant Greymon's attack was fatal, as proven by the burnt corpses on the street. He wasn't sure how he could get his Elecmon to safety either, but at least Hinata had some tools that could help it survive that monstrosity.
Clear Sky. The last card he swiped did not have any visible effects, but hopefully, this one has. A swipe across the digivice with the said card was enough to clear the street from the flames and embers. Not that it would make any difference for the Greymon, but at least it opens up more room for the rest of the guys to move. And hopefully bring that thing down before Taro, who was firing off its basic attacks all this time, even gets hurt.

There were so many tamers now. He couldn't believe how many of them showed up to deal with this. He was sure glad though that he wasn't alone in this. Even Obito showed up. Glad to see a familiar face among the crowd. This battle was getting quite intense. The sheer number of tamers meant there was quite the fire power going against the Greymon. Everyone was firing off their special attacks and using their cards. [break][break]
The tamer next to him seemed to just bring a book to the battle. He thought that was odd. He didn't seem to even have a partner with him at first. That was when he noticed the book fly open. It then fired the exact same attack as Dracomon. What, he didn't understand. How could the book know the exact same move as Dracomon. [break][break]
Obito had yelled to him earlier. He wanted to coordinate their attack. It didn't seem like they were going to do it this time. Obito had already launched his attack for this turn. He had swiped a card of his, so Akio thought he would do the same.[break][break]
Akio pulled a card out his deck holder. He ran it through his digivice. "Digi-modify." With that his digivice roared to life and sparked as the card through the reader. A shotgun appeared in front of Dracomon. He grabbed it and fired off a shot into the greymon.

[ TURN 4 ] 546 / 4000
The combined assault from every Tamer and Digimon present has a remarkable effect in suppressing the virulent Greymon's ability to go completely berserk without being punished for it. Attacks carved, struck, and sunk into its flesh from all sides, splattering the city with inky black 'puddles' of corroded binary data as the saurian shrieks with horrifying rancor, while strategic usage of cards kept the Champion, corralled and clearly helpless against further assault. The crazed saurian's maw oozes with putrid viral foam, its body rapidly losing its ability to respond to the endless barrage of blows it endured. This did nothing to diminish the Greymon's instinct to incinerate, its drive to destroy—if it is to fall this day, then it shall take as many as it can to the grave. " GUOOOHHH!!!" It summons forth every last ounce of primal rage within its core in a mighty bellow, and from its maw comes forth great rolling torrents of dark fire, sprayed in every direction the Greymon's body jerked and jilted, expecting something to get hit by its death throes.
• Infected Greymon is reaching its limit, but it won't go down without a fight! For this turn, each player must roll 3 dice, instead of 1. The added total is the damage dealt to Infected Greymon. Be careful, however, if any die lands on one of the lethal numbers, you will be knocked out of the event. • Infernal Firestorm causes Infected Greymon to roll 4 lethal numbers instead of 3 this turn. 0WmLSvZB

No one had fell to the beast yet.
At least, as far as she could tell. Even her Bearmon, had been able to last much longer than she had ever seen.
But celebration was just something far too early to indulge in. Not when this thing was still able to move.
Again and again, no matter how many strikes it had taken from those around, it only got up again.
Managed to still be able to let out roars, as if that would go and stop everyone here from firing at it.
No, this thing was going to get more damage than it already caused. She was just amazed she would be able to pull things off and help it actually do so.
The one card she had on her mind to use left, wouldn't come until this beast had fell down on its own.
Might not even come, if her Digimon had proven it couldn't last long enough to see the beast fell.
She was still watching, waiting, for it to go tumbling down. It had been absolute luck if anything, that it even lasted this long. Would continue to believe that it was luck.
Only when the bear was able to ascend past the stage it was currently in, like they knew others to possess, would she really see it for more than what it was to her now.
Inky black puddles spewed from the Greymon, as it received strikes, remnants of its previous attacks, she was able to see bits and glimpses of as she had moved.
The distance between her and Bearmon, was wide enough to not get caught within the fray of things.
Able to provide her cover from the beast's rampaging attacks, if there was a need to take shelter from it.
The dying wails, if she were to really think of them as such, only proved to remind everyone just how close victory was. That only a few more hits were required.
But then what would come after? The Digimon would assumingly dissolve into data, though she wondered if it was even safe for any of the ones here to eat.
There was also damage to the city, but unlike many of those who wished to hunt down murders, sticking their noses in where it didn't belong, that wasn't her concern.
Things could be rebuilt given the time, and she had confidence this whole incident could be covered up.
Rewards weren't the thing to be expected here, and with the confidence this would be the last Bearmon would have to work on striking, she did her best to take cover like the other Tamers, as dark fire was spewed.
"Karate Punch!"
That and shouts of others, were supposed to be comforting. Affirmation that they would be safe.
But it made her wonder if any would go down this time around.
4b6jPoj8 Karate Punch - The Digimon reels its fist back, and puts as much strength as it can into a punch, dealing tiny EARTH damage, which has a tiny chance to STUN the enemy for that turn.··

At this point, Obito's point of view of the enemy was falling apart. His coding was now visible between all the attacks and slashes from the other Digimon. Panthermon's included. He was now in a berserk state, spewing fire every-which-way and threatening to hit nearby buildings. Obito cringed as one of the fireballs came relatively close, making him sweat as Panthermon dashed around, leaving his claw marks all over Greymon. Obito had no clue how much damage this creature could take, but he felt this fight was getting closer to its end. Or so he hoped. The boost he gave Panthermon was more than enough to keep the cat safe and deliver his damage. But now things were reaching its conclusion. He felt a single card could make a lasting impact-- but a nagging feel lurked in Obito's mind. Perhaps it was paranoia, but he felt it was smarter to wait. As Panthermon dealt another claw-slash of light and darkness upon Greymon's body, now even Panthermon could notice the damage inflicted. He looked up from his position behind Greymon, having kept on his feet to keep at a distance. "Now's your chance!" Obito shouted into his digivice-- and to Akio as well. "Let's finish him off!" Panthermon's ears twitched at Obito's order, one he was more than willing to follow. "With pleasure," he growled and took off in a final burst of speed. Using his claws he ran right up Greymon's tail and right up his back-- dragging the claws behind him in a large slash. Finally, Panthermon jumped high into the air with his high speed and cat-like agility, aiming his maw towards the back of Greymon's head. Even with the damaged skull as protection, a blow to the back would still hurt. "LET HIM HAVE IT!" Obito shouted, seeing Panthermon in position. "SPIRAL FLAME!!" Panthermon roared, flames gushing from his maw. The jungle cat's roar echoed as the torrent of flame shot out and struck Greymon. Though even for a rookie, the flames hit with significant force, blasted around Greymon's head and no doubt shocking the digimon with the blind-sided assault. Obito's eyes went wide from behind his glasses. "YES!" He cheered and jumped up in excitement, glad to see his Digimon's signature attack grow so strong. [nospaces] [attr="class","biggie"] [attr="class","textie"]Renamon had reverted to her actual self. Falling back as her height rapidly minimized and her clarity of thought rushed back to her. She was stunned, for lack of a better term. Soma had never thought it necessary to use that, not since their first encounter with the brigands Renamon herself had followed to this world. Since then, they'd had a skirmish and even that was built on misunderstanding. They were not partners in a fight; they were essentially roommates. Sisters, even.[break][break] She felt betrayed. That Soma would just blindly use her like tha-[break][break] There she was, though. Swinging a chunk of metal at this Greymon's ankle like it was a sport. Moving every so often to get a better angle and with it, display a manic, fiercely burning snarl. Her eyes had never had a stare that sharp. Renamon recalled that guilt Soma so often felt. She would always lock herself away in that unlit room and sob about how bad she felt. She'd come home numb to everything on every other day. This was the first true fight where she was not defending herself. She was fighting. The Greymon was looking weak. they were winning. Maybe they would be able to take it down soon. If they all attack together once more he was hoping it would go down. Akio looked back down at his digivice. It was still just static. Darn, he was hoping to get some data on why this Greymon was acting so erratically before it was defeated. Oh well another time he thought. Maybe there would be some information on it back at buster tower.[break][break]
Akio looked around him. The other tamers were already launching their attack including Obito. Well it was time to fire off the second shot from the gun he gave Dracomon. He gave Dracomon a nod. Dracomon took up a stance to brace himself for the recoil from the shot. He applied a light pressure to the trigger and fired off the second shot. The bullet spiraled its way to the Greymon. Finally barreling itself into the Greymon.[break][break]
Direct hit he hoped this would cause significant damage to the Greymon. He hoped he would see it fall with this attack.

It was the nature of all living things to give ample thought to what happened when they stopped living. Those who did give it more thought would find any such thoughts fairly pointless, and quickly cease such thoughts. Nishikata Fumi briefly wondered about the death of Digimon, and how they experienced it. Did they fear death? Was there a heaven for them? The Greymon had rapidly grown more and more belligerent, and the damage it was inflicting to the area was growing worryingly large. How would the public react to this? Fumi squinted. From his vantage point, not even his goggles helped him find Cado. The bee was probably buzzing around, finding good angles for attack. Nishikata Fumi chuckled beside himself. Angles of attack for a bee. He snorted. "I don't know what's so funny," a voice said beside him. Fumi squealed, but sighed in relief when he realised it was Cado. "Don't scare me like that!" the boy snapped. "Pay more attention," Cado said. "I think Greymon's on its last legs," he added. "I think so too." Fumi surveyed the other fighters. "Why aren't you with them?" Cado shrugged (which Fumi still found impressive, given Cado's lack of shoulders). "I wanted to check on you. Make sure you're all right. Greymon's done a number on the city." "I'm just fine. I'm fine," Fumi said. In truth, his legs were shaking and the flames the thing belched out were unnerving, but... "We have to do this," Fumi continued. "It's our big chance. Big chance to show we've got what it takes. We're heroes." Cado sighed. "I'd like to point out you're a kid with a Digimon doing all the hard work." "Spoil sport." "I'd also like to point out," Cado continued, "that Greymon's attacking us. Get a move on!" Fumi looked up, squealed again and scrambled away. He vaulted over a fence and dove into a nearby store. The incinerating heat whirled past like a... nothing quite whirls past you as fireballs do. "Cado! Take him out, take him out!" Fumi yelled over the din. Fanbeemon spared Fumi a glance. Decided it'd be okay. His wings buzzed and he shot towards the Greymon. Whirled about its head. The beast's eyes locked with Cado's. For one moment, one wild instant, Cado felt he could be a hero. He pointed his stinger. Bang. Bang. Bang. Multiple stingers shot out towards the enemy. Thudthudthud. The three buried themselves in the Digimon's flesh almost simultaneously. The Greymon refused to fall just yet...

The beast was always down. He could observe that from the way it moved, the way it roared, the desperation within those corrupted eyes. He felt just a little bit sad about the whole matter... Was this thing even aware of its surroundings at this very moment? Did it know of all that was taking place, the madness that had taken it over? The most merciful deed would be to take the beast down and let it rest back in the digital world. If its data could return back, that is. Chousen let out a wary sigh and drew his blades once more.
The side seemed like an accurate spot to hit the beast, so he once more set out to circle around and towards it, blades gathering wind into them as he ran until he finally reached a spot where he would simply bounce off of something, probably a wall or a car, launching himself towards the Greymon's side with blades pointed forwards, almost like a makeshift missile aiming to shoot and penetrate straight into the corrupted dragons side. Chousen closed his eyes and prepared. If the dinosaur digimon turned its head a bit and spewed him with flames, this whole attack would be for nothing.

It was almost over. The combined beating this beast had taken was about to bring it down. The beast roared and flailed in a desperate attempt for survival, but it was painfully obvious it was going to loose. Hyde could even see flecks of corrupted data coming off of it. It wouldn't take much to being it down.
"I'll leave the finishing blow to you mate!" Hyde called out as he pulled away from the Greymon, dodging fireballs all the while. Unarmed, there was no point in fighting the digimon himself. Grimes was happy to oblige though, letting loose a shower of sparks at the dying enemy.

[ FINAL TURN ] 0 / 4000
Even with the fierce and calculated attacks of the Buster hired force of Tamers, the dinosaur continued its fight. Something burned within the beast from deep within, causing it to keep going no matter how much damage was dealt to it. It was battered, scarred, and beyond the limit any normal Digimon would be able to take - even for a Champion level. A dark smog would begin to seep from its wounds, further indicating another force was at play. It raged forward, preparing another hellstorm, this time hoping to turn the task force into a pile of burnt flesh. However, with the powerful attack of a small Kotemon, the monster seemed to finally have met its limit. It began to gather flames, but couldn't compose them into an attack like before. The dark fire swirled and bursted within its mouth, which finally made the beast groan in pain, and at last, fall to the ground. The malicious glowing eyes faded out, leaving only blackened eye holes. The battle was finally over, but not without a great deal of damage. The dark smog from the beast began to pour out from the body, as the rest of the remains dissipated into data. This mysterious substance gathered itself above where to corpse once laid. It had no coherent form, but was able to form a sort of "mouth" within it. "This is only the beginning." It produced a feminine, but distorted, voice, before it vanished.
