PLAYDATE [KASUMI/XAVI]

Jorge hadn't been properly introduced to the wonders of Digimon Hyper colloseum, clearly! KoKabuterimon felt he had to rectify that immediately.

"These ones are different from Digi-Modify cards." he informed the Gazimon. "I got all these from Shiro's closet. He called them trash cards, but how can a card with a cool guy like this-" He said, holding up his Tentomon card before placing him on the battle zone face down. "Be anything less than awesome?"

"So here's how we do it! We place our chosen rookie digimon on the battlezone face, down. Then, after we draw until we have 10 cards on hand, we gotta place our remaining deck on the online zone," He said, demonstrating by moving the remaining cards to said zone,  "Once we've done all this, we can move to the Digievolution phase!"

He sounded giddy as he said this, and from look on his face, it was clear that he: had a pretty good hand, and an absolutely terrible poker face. He grinned as he placed one of the cards on his hand facedown unto the Digivolve zone.

He couldn't tell if Mirrormon had a good hand as well. The guy's pokerface was good. Lack of face not withstanding.

"A scholar? Ya mean a nerd? That's fine, Shiro is one, too. Nerds can be boring if they are like Shiro, but they can be a lot of fun too." He held up the cards. "These are awesome, and apparently are for nerds, from what the tv said. So yeah, nerds can be cool. Just not Shiro." 

"Here's the fun part." He said, before reaching for... his non existent pocket. "Oh." He took a deep breath.

"Shiro!" The blonde young man suddenly startled, nearly falling from the monkey bars. "You got a coin you can lend m-" The coin smacked him right between the eyes, managing to bounce off harmlessly off his carapace. "Thanks!"

The blonde young man just grumbled in annoyance.

"Okay so, we gotta flip a coin. I'm tails, you are head. Whoever gets their thing, digivolves first, and after we are both done digivolving, the winner of the coin flip gets to attack first as well!"
