[attr="class","info_text"]Attention to all players! A good month has passed and the beginning of the site-wide plot is about to kick off! Don't get too discouraged by the outcome, there'll be more than enough new ways to develop your character! And that means only one thing... it's patch time!

First thing to note is that we want to focus more on that faction-driven aspect of our roleplay. With the current set-up, you are allowed to have a character of every type, whether it be in a faction or not. In response to this, we've decided that each roleplayer is allotted three characters at maximum. This limit makes it so you can only be left out of one choice at most, without limited you of what to join. Rather than make a list of discouraged groups, we decided to allow everyone the freedom to make what they want. That way, if a new member were to join, they would still have their creative freedom without being told a specific faction is discouraged and unneeded at the time.[break][break]
This also doesn't mean that you can't have three characters in the same faction, that's perfectly fine. If you're gung-ho and want to keep up that gang mentality, go for it. At the end of the day, it comes down to not making too many characters that you can't keep a handle on. You cannot simply drop a character without a reason either, you must speak with a staff member before doing so. Please do not try to circumvent the limit by constantly creating new characters and having old ones constantly disappear. Try to pace yourself to create exciting stories for each of your characters.[break][break]

Another concern with character creation is that there are quite a few old work in progress accounts. To deal with clutter, we are going to start archiving these profiles and changing these accounts to inactive. After the first week of posting your work in progress character, we will give you a notice as to when your post will be archived if left incomplete.[break][break]
All Inactive accounts will be deleted during the next activity check that will commence in this upcoming November. Any accounts that are not spoken for but have managed to remain in an active status will be turned to an inactive account. If they remain inactive by the next activity check, they will be deleted as well. Basically, if you plan on roleplaying here for long, don't miss two activity checks in a row.[break][break]

In response to the encounter rate, noticing very few players are requesting them from staff members, we've unveiled a list of free to use NPC digimon to use (found Here). There is no direct reward from these digimon, they do not bear as much significance to the site-wide plot as Chapter bosses do. They are simply there to remind you of the digimon aspect of the site and that if you want to fight something to improve your characters tactics and fighting abilities, go ahead. All of these listed digimon can be used in any sort of situation you would like to add them to, just be sure to keep it realistic and not to gas yourself up too much. Otherwise we might need to add newer restrictions or worse.[break][break]
[break]
Along with the use of NPCs for your own means, we must also talk about how solo threads work on our forum. As staff, we will actively tell you that they are discouraged but not unavailable. We would just like to see a relative degree of character development from it. One should not keep writing NPC fights in order to constantly push themselves up the roster. Your relationships with other characters and your own digimon through various experiences are far more important. If there is a problem in which you make too many solo threads/too many solo posts, you may be at risk of those posts and bytes being invalidated.[break][break]
We take creating a fulfilling and enjoyable story seriously and we hope that you would like to be a part of it, but as long as you choose to create a story we are happy enough to house you. Please take this advice into consideration and thanks in advanced.[break][break]

Lastly, we have our current site-wide event running as all of you should know! The battle royale has specific rule you can find Here, with a leader board to climb. Who will make it to the top and bring glory to their faction!? Even if you don't feel that it suits your character directly, there's always a way to contribute. The rewards are rather nice, teasing a new card set that'll be hitting shelves some time soon after. Let's see who'll come out on top![break][break]
Thank you all for reading this! As a bonus, anyone posting in this thread up to the 10/26th will get a free bonus of 150 bytes! (Read thy patch, less we turn thou in the future into Dobermon chow)
