As she had gotten older however, and money became rather important, as it did tie into garnering education, she went back to focusing more on her studies. Accepted the idea that tutoring wasn't something that was really a bad idea, and found herself enjoying being able to pass on what she knew. Around this point in time, she began thinking a lot about her future, which was rather well ahead, even for someone who had barely even graduated from high school. Just what was beyond education? Beyond the relationships she had with her friends, and those she had gone and tutored for a living?
[break][break]
Pointed out to her by those she knew, it had become rather natural for her to display affection. Something which the friends she continued to keep, even after high school, had noted she was acting even more like a mom than she ever had been, while they were in school. Which was true. It was rather easy to dote and care for others, more than she ever had when she had been younger. She had accomplished what she could to find something stable in her life, and now that she had it, all that was really missing, was finding something new to strive. It just so happened to be passing on her knowledge.

[attr="class","trooper_head"] PERSONALITY
Back when she had been in school, she was a bookworm, who had it not been for her friends, would have also been a teacher's pet. Academics could have easily been her whole life, but choosing her relationships, and working to solve the issues they had, brought her away from creating ones that would come with surrounding herself in education. She might have found excelling to be rewarding, but it didn't compare to the kind of memories she was able to create with her friends. A lot of things, if not for them, she would feel rather shy about even doing, than enjoy the experience.[break][break]

There was the appeal of the different monsters, and the different transformations that they could take on, were the kind of thing that did promote there was always growth to be had. She involved herself rather casually with the franchise, knowing it was supposed to be meant for her own entertainment, than something to focus on seriously. Her friends however, had thought differently. They competed in the card tournaments, which she and her parents had always been invited to watch, being there to support her friends as they played. It was easy to see the appeal of having competition.
[break][break]
The smile on her friend's faces, and the kind of focus both parties just brought to the table, just really seemed rewarding. With or without her parents encouraging her to start joining her friends in the fun, it would have likely been just as inevitable to get into competing. Seeing the game as more serious than she originally viewed it as. Even back when she had only saw it as something to pass the time, she had noticed how often her friends preferred a different strategy, that wouldn't have really been ideal to carry, against those more experienced. Though maybe luck was just on their side.
[break][break]
What matches they were placed in, they were able to get through, and it was only after facing her, was she able to prove what the right cards were capable of doing. It was expensive to get the right ones, knowing how random card packs were, but her parents didn't have any issues with having her earn the good packs, through her continuous studies. She wouldn't say they were necessarily a motivator to her education, as not every tournament, she had really entered. As while it did feel good to prove a point, what really mattered was that her friends were enjoying themselves.

Anything offensive would always really mean to be unintentional, although the two weren't really the type to even be that way. They were more so the ones who involve her into experiences they wanted her to try, even if it was usually unintentional, after already declining their offer. She couldn't help it, just knowing that she was missing out on something she could share with them. Time passed by, with academics continuing to be a presence on her life, and Digimon back to being an occasional thing. While in the public library, going between reading and playing a match against herself, things had changed.
[break][break]
Coming in to find her, had been her friends, with the kind of look she knew to be something they really wanted to talk to her about. The glances around the room made it rather clear it couldn't be said out in the open, and after gathering her things and following after, she found the reason to be ridiculous. Anyone would, hearing the claim that Digimon was just more than a franchise. But it couldn't be argued seeing movement in their backpacks. A little peek inside, and she knew this was one of the things she needed to guide them on, just like with what they went through in school.
[break][break]
Though unlike how she had found herself being appealed by the franchise, and the card tournaments, it was her decision right off the bat. They were barely in high school, but they were really exploring the prospect of a whole different world. One which apparently more than a handful of people knew. If there was any doubts she had before in wanting to learn about this world and its culture, there wasn't, after learning that fact. Although of course, it became rather clear just why this world was a secret. Digimon weren't meant to be played with, like they did in the real world.
[break][break]
The different factions made that bit rather clear, and if not them, than the berserk Digimon would. She had already found out her friends had joined their respective ones, and recognizing how difficult it would be, joined her own. While she had more in common with the Shinjuku Busters, their methods were too self-righteous and law breaking to really be apart of the group. Web Troopers weren't much better, but they were at least subtle compared to most. Her identity and life could go remain separate as it should be when exploring this world, and leaving it, as much as she could have it.
[break][break]
All the fighting that could be involved in this world, and the deaths, could easily drive someone to do something they would regret. Though she had always been sympathetic to what plights she heard and seen, knowing these creatures had the kind of intelligence that was similar to humans. It surprisingly ached her more than it really should have, especially when knowing her friends felt differently about this kind of matter. But that was just who they were, and that wasn't going to change. Just like how she wanted to make some kind of difference in this world, with her decisions.
[break][break]
The next few years had really blurred by. In her real life, she was nothing more but a tutor, teaching what she had knew, and finding that Digimon was still something that remained popular. Each kid she helped out, and sometimes even adults, she wondered if they had ever met the real thing. It was certainly rewarding having this kind of relationship, but even more so was going back to what she considered to be her other life. One which involved handling what most would have trouble dealing with on their own, due to their lack of experience they had compared to her.

[attr="class","trooper_head"] HISTORY
Growing up as an only child, with her parents wishing what was best for her, a lot of her time was spent between studying, and being around friends. Digimon had always been rather popular for people her age, and some form of it could always be seen around the school. Though a book might have always been in her hand, whether she was at her house, or a friend's, it was inevitable not to take the occasional break, and join in on the fun. So long as she was able to explain what she had learned later on, it wasn't any harm. Why Digimon was so popular, was rather easy to understand.[break][break]
