Generally, Shimato is a good person. He'll go out of his way to help almost anyone, especially those he considers friends, and he occasionally uses his hacking skills to discreetly help those in need. His kindly nature makes him seen as a reliable resource,
and, unfortunately, makes Shimato an easy person to manipulate at times. He's not the most gullible person you'll ever meet,
but he tends to give people the benefit of the doubt most of the time.
[attr="class","trooper_head"] PERSONALITY
If there is one word that describes Shimato, it would be: daydreamer. Shimato is almost always thinking about something, and there is a fairly high chance he might drown out the things happening around him if he thinks the events around him don't require his attention. It's not so much that he doesn't care about what's going on around him, far from it, actually. Shimato is a very involved, kindly person; however, he has a bad tendency to let his mind wander when he gets bored or not actively being involved in something important. His general intelligence and pleasant personality often make people look over this quirk of his, and Shimato takes some amount of pride in being a fairly liked person.[break][break] Generally, Shimato is a good person. Around his junior year of high school, Shimato began to become interested in computers. He realized that most of everyone's daily lives revolved around a computer, and he began to wonder if he could somehow make money using computers. After doing some research, Shimato found that coding was a career constantly in need of people, and could pay decently. So he purchased a book on coding and went to an internet cafe one day. Shimato accidentally walked into a room being used by a member of the Web Troopers who had decided to get away from Invicta HQ and remotely hack a nearby bank. Instead of getting upset, the member saw the book in Shimato's hand and offered to teach him coding and give him an introduction to hacking.[break][break]
Shimato was initially very dubious at the idea at first, but when the man mentioned that hacking was actually a viable, albeit illegal option to making money, the young man agreed to take the crash course. He took to the information like a fish to water,
and greatly impressed the member of the Web Troopers. After a few hours, Shimato was becoming very competent at coding and absorbing the information on hacking. However, it wasn't long before the Web Trooper's Digivice picked up a bio-emerging Digimon.
Deciding to investigate and see if there was more to Shimato than what was already shown, the Web Trooper brought Shimato with him. Thankfully, the Digimon was merely a ToyAgumon and was very open to talking with the two humans who approached him. The Digimon took a particular shine to Shimato, and they formed a friend/partnership.[break][break]
After this, Shimato was given a card with the directions on how to join the Web Troopers if he felt so inclined. After some time of sharpening his coding and hacking skills, the young man and his new partner eventually decided to join the Web Troopers, and he has currently been with the group for some time.
[attr="class","trooper_head"] HISTORY
Shimato was born to a pair of lower-class parents who spent most of their money to take care of him. His childhood consisted of seeing his parents work themselves to exhaustion in order to provide for him and keep themselves in a stable monetary state. From them, Shimato learnt the value of hard work and that you need to put in effort to get anywhere in life. However, Shimato was never the most athletic or strong, so his parents told him that the best way for him to have a better life was to get smarter. The young man spent the entirety of his school life studying and learning useful skills that he could use later in life.
