rosaline was in the midst of nursing her own bleeding nose, crimson presently flowing from her nostrils in abundance. thankfully, she always stuffed a few tissues into her tote bag prior to taking leave of her tiny apartment. the young woman was content that such an inconvenience had come about after her working hours. and as she clutched at the soiled material and tilted her head back she was left to contemplate how she would spend the remainder of her evening. rosaline wouldn't be payed until the end of the week, and her funds were running a bit low. she would manage if she remained careful, possessing enough discipline to make do with her dwindling stock of foodstuffs at home.
she was someplace near nightmare's hideout, but had no intention of entering the cleverly disguised establishment. instead, her only desire was to return home and tuck herself beneath her sheets. rosaline was sore and tired, her frail form having been worn down as she spent a majority of the day upon her feet. her stamina had always been so lackluster in quality, but she managed despite possessing such a persistent fault. after all, she wouldn't maintain such a position in life forever. in time, and with some effort, she'd be granted the opportunity to live in comfort. the young woman only needed to remain patient.
her digimon was comfortably stuffed in the confines of her bag, causing its material to bulge as it contained its stocky form. its gleaming yellow eyes were its only visible feature as they progressed down a dimly-lit street. there were very few individuals walking about at this hour, the majority having already returned home. the sky was presenting itself as a pale shade of blue, its coloring growing darker and darker with each moment that passed.
"do you need more tissue, rosa?" its distinctively quiet and polite voice asked.
"uh - uh," she responded.
she would then shove a small piece of clumped up fabric into each nostril, mouth remaining slightly agape so she could breathe properly. anything that was soiled was quickly deposited into a nearby overfilled trashcan.
"we'll be home, soon," she reassured, squinting as she focused her gaze on the path ahead.
