The best way to summarize Niko's personality is a Upbeat and Extroverted young boy. He always wishes to see the kindness of others and wishes to hang out with people, even though he just met them. He also tries his hardest to make others feel happy and wanted by doing what they want -- he's pretty good at figuring this out. He also tries his hardest to not hurt others and will try his very best to make others do the same.[break][break]

"No, no...don't cry! I'm fine, see? I'll be fine, no matter what!"[break]
Niko tends to downplay his injuries and bumps, by saying things like 'he's fine' or 'it's just a little scrap!' because he doesn't want people to go out of their way to heal him; they can save energy on someone else! He does tend to forgive people easily and is easy to make cry; but that's not what you want, right?

Niko Kurusu was born to a middle-class family of hopeful business workers, his parents working for an office and his older sister studying law at the time. Growing up, he was left with his older sister, who always said she "needed to study" and that "she didn't have time for his antics", as she handed him a piece of paper and a dull pencil. Niko drew a small house with 4 stick people and put it up on his wall with a little bit of tape that night...but his parents told him to take it down when they saw it for the first time. As school became a factor in the young boys' life, Niko tried to keep up with the rest of his peers. If he asked his parents or sister for help, they would just chuckle and say "You just need to try harder! Look at your sister, she's doing much better!" Feeling stressed, he went to some of his peers and asked them for advice because he was "failing his classes, so can you please help me study or something?" They just shrugged and said; "Ask your parents dude, or maybe your sibling! That always works for me." But how could he do that if he had to try harder than his sister, but he couldn't because he needed help from his peers, who said that he needed to ask his parents, who would say for him to try harder (it's all too much, itsalltoomuch!)[break][break]


"I don't wanna be alone anymore!"[break][break]

The internet was his comfort from all the stress of his life. If he messed up or did something worse than his sister; no worries! This allowed him to relax and begin to socialize with people, without the threat of being better or trying harder. With his stress melting away (little by little), he began to raise his marks in classes (slowly but surely), till he got what he was looking for; A B-. It wasn't a good mark by any means but, hey! It was something he worked hard on! His parents didn't seem to think so; calling him "lazy" and "not even working!" But when his sister got an A-...they cheered and celebrated her.[break][break]
'Do they even like me? No, they like her...always her!' He thought as he shoved his phone into the clothes-filled bag and slung it over his shoulder. Peeking outside his door, only to be confronted by snoring, he ran down the hallway, down the stairs, and out the door, into the evening's light. Now that he was out of his "puppet parents" and "puppet sister's" home, where would he go? Thankfully, he had met up with one of his more trusted friends, who even allowed him to 'crash at his place for a while!' However, Niko was too nervous of being rejected and the friend leaving, so he nervously asked: [break][break]

"What can I do to help you?" [break]
That thing he could help with was joining a group, the Web Troopers. Sure, he was nervous...but if it made his friend happy, then he'd be happy too, for their sake! At first, he was introduced as a person who could help around with simple tasks, but as his eagerness to learn and general knowledge of computers was noticed, he was taught the ways of hacking and Niko soon became a regular member of the faction and was given a digivice, which he'd never seen before which spawned a creature he'd never seen before. In actuality, he was scared out of his mind, but if the members wanted him to bond with this "Fallomon" then he would![break][break]
