THE FAMILY

The newest of the major gangs that vie for control of Tokyo's underbelly, none dare speak the Family's name aloud without fearing the possibility that one of their agents may be observing their every move. Very little data about the group itself exists, as they are infamous for being wholly thorough in concealing their tracks from the public.[break][break]

All that is known about the Family can be gleaned from the rumors and tall tales circulating throughout the Internet: they are most commonly described as a secretive cult that is quick to vanish as fast as they appear, leaving their mark as a warning to all who attempt to cross their path.[break][break]




Members of the Family seem to serve an unorthodox set of ideals that focuses mainly on the deletion and subsequent assimilation of all those perceived as enemies. Digimon in service to the Family are usually of the Unknown or Free attributes. While known for their propensity towards violent and bloody displays, agents of the Family are not encouraged to pursue their baser interests with reckless abandon.[break][break]

Unlike the other factions, the Family cannot be joined conventionally. A character cannot begin their experience on Digimon: Unity as a member of the Family unless explicit permission from staff has been given. Those that succeed in being initiated have done so through strict invitation and whatever ceremony might be involved throughout: you don't contact the Family -- the Family contacts you.[break][break]

You are not an opponent to be messed with, and your foes will know well the full extent of your torments. Every time an enemy swipes a card, they take moderate Darkness damage.[break][break]

[ PAIN GAME ][break]

You take no prisoners, and wish to inflict as much suffering on your enemies as possible. You may turn any battle into a Challenge Mode battle without your opponent's consent.[break][break]

[ DEMON'S LUCK ][break]

You don't care about rules, and definitely don't believe in luck. For that reason, you've rigged the odds in your favor. Whenever you would roll a die, you may reroll it one time, then choose the desired result from the two rolls.[break][break]

NB. You can only choose one of these three traits at the time of character creation.[break][break]
