Shimato was many things. A hacker, a fairly attractive young man, and one of the most open minded people in Tokyo. Alongside this, the pink-haired teenager considered himself very, very patient and accommodating. Therefore, when his partner, Tumble, had asked him if they could go on a nighttime stroll and maybe visit a park, Shimato had agreed.
How much trouble could a walk to the park be?
As it would turn out, when you live in the capital of a country, finding any place or path not crowded with people is a difficult task. Shimato had to dip and dive through the streets towards the nearest park from his small apartment. He often had to hide Tumble either behind him, in a close-by alley, or try to have him pose as a small mascot for nearby shops when others might have seen the ToyAgumon. After what felt like 2 hours of playing the world's most intense game of Red Light, Green Light, or Hide and Seek, (but in reality was only 30 minutes) the two made it to a secluded park on the outskirts of Shibuya.
After a moment of checking to make sure the coast was clear for the moment, Shimato and Tumble basically collapsed at a picnic table.
"Next time you ask to go somewhere in public, buddy, remind me to wait till it's the proper dead of the night," Shimato sighed in exasperation, looking over at the sweating Digimon. "That way we don't have to basically play Frogger through half of Shibuya."
Tumble took in a quick gulp of air before responding, the ToyAgumon obviously as exhausted as his Tamer. "I'll be sure to try and remember that, Shimato. Granted, there's not a lot of oxygen going to my brain right now, so you'll have to forgive me if I forget we even had this conversation."
While attempting to rest their bodies for a moment and catch their breath, both Tamer and Partner decided to look at the night sky. Despite Tokyo's extensive light pollution, there were still a few stars visible in the sky. Not to mention that there was a rather pale and lovely full moon hanging above them, lighting up the night where the city's lights didn't. Shimato and Tumble shared a look and a smile for a moment after looking back down from the moon, and said simultaneously,
"Totally worth the effort!"

the young woman hummed quietly to herself, swaying gently to the music that flowed from recently-purchased earbuds. her steps matched the steadied beat, a small smile having settled upon her face. she was taking a little stroll through the park, enjoying the night and the sharp chill of the air as a gentle breeze brushed past. rosaline had no obligations for the next day, so she had made the decision to stay up at a much later hour. she had also taken a few sips from her small stash of alcohol - allowing for the legalized poison to lead her into a more relaxed state.
"can you dance, berry?" she asked.
she would tug at her earbuds so to hear her digimon release a quiet snort in response.
"no - no, i don't," it responded, fluttering at her side.
"it'd be cute," she continued. "we've been... together for a year. i know you like music."
"do you - do you dance?" berry shot back. "do you?"
"n-no," she responded, brows furrowing slightly. "but i could... if i wanted to, i mean."
the digimon didn't respond, remaining observant of their immediate surroundings. it would prefer that they returned to their tiny home with haste. its mistress was vulnerable at this particular moment, after all, and her mental functionality was impaired due to her choice of beverage. it would settle upon her shoulder the very moment it spotted a distant pair - an unfamiliar pair.
"digimon," it uttered, growing tense.
"digimon? where?" she said, a slight slur present. "i can't see that good."
"that well," berry corrected.
"that well," she repeated, lamely.
they would approach despite her digimon's obvious desire to avoid any form of interaction.
"it's cute," rosaline commented.
both berry and its human female were now a short distance away from shimato and the toyagumon. a delighted coo would soon take leave of the young woman as she eyed the digital specimen.
"h-hello," berry greeted. Shimato and Tumble hadn't immediately been aware that they had been spotted or that anyone was approaching them. The duo had been far too content making small talk and gazing at the night sky. The pink-haired young man and the Digimon were both in the midst of contemplating grabbing a couple of sodas from a nearby vending machine when they realized that there was in fact joined by two unfamiliar figures. The sound of a woman cooing was what brought the pair's attention to the new arrivals, her voice making both Tamer and Digimon jump slightly. Tumble appeared to be just barely keeping himself from literally falling to pieces out of fright, the blocks that made up his body jittering slightly in shock. Shimato, on the other hand, had nearly leapt to his feet in surprise, but his eyes quickly caught sight that the two who had stumbled on them seemed to be a Tamer and her partner. His mind rapidly began processing that they probably hadn't meant to spook the two of them, and they seemed to be merely saying hello, judging by the Tsukaimon's greeting and the Tamer's comment of Tumble being cute. "Hello there yourselves!" Shimato put on a warm, welcoming smile as his shoulders and body language went back to being calm, before continuing to speak, "You gave us a bit of a spook there, so, sorry for jumping when you showed up. We figured we were the only ones here at this time of night."Tumble was beginning to calm down bit by bit thanks to Shimato's calm voice and the blocks that made up his body began to cease shaking. In the past two years since the ToyAgumon had become partners with Shimato, Tumble had been working on not falling apart when he got scared. After two years of horror movie marathons with his Tamer, the Digimon had been getting somewhat better at controlling the involuntary action. Once he had managed to calm himself sufficiently, Tumble waved to the new girl and her partner, noting the other Digimon's uncomfortable expression. "How do you do? My name's Tumble, and this is my Tamer, Shimato. Pleasure to meet you!"

"the park is - it's always quiet and lonely at this hour," berry responded, blinking owlishly at the pair. "didn't expect, e-either."
rosaline's dull gaze had remained fixed upon the toyagumon. it was an admittedly strange sight to her addled mind, for its data had tailored it to appear as though it was naught more than a toy. she would take steps to approach the strangers, the woman's mind clearing just enough to realize that she had yet to properly introduce herself.
"oh - i'm rosaline," she said, halting her steps and wavering slightly on her own feet. "it's nice to meet you, too."
the young woman offered a little smile, taking a moment to eye the pink-haired youth whom served as the puppet digimon's companion. he was taller than herself, but it appeared as though they were of a similar age. he was unfamiliar - but most people were, weren't they?
'they are,' she thought. 'until you actually bother to learn who they are.'
a little giggle slipped from her mouth, as though she was amused by the bland conclusion that was reached. berry would then cast her a pointed look, as though he was irritated by her current state.
"i am berry," the tsukaimon said.
the woman wavered again before her digimon urged her to take a seat. she would eventually do so, moving forward before slowly settling herself into a seated position with a quiet grunt, her legs crossing over themselves.
"who... who are you with?" rosaline asked, bold.
the question had lacked context, and it was actually quite sudden. berry's facial features revealed that it found such words to be inappropriate; but it didn't bother to chastise the young woman.
"are you loners?" she continued, her grin only widening as she eyed them openly. "you look like you'd be."

Shimato gave the Tsukaimon a sort of nod of acknowledgment. The young man had a fairly certain idea that this park was mostly abandoned at night, so he accepted the virus-type's words as they hadn't expected to encounter anyone themselves. "I do hope we didn't wind derail your stroll through the park then. We hadn't meant to surprise you."Tumble, while somewhat listening to Shimato, was beginning to feel a little embarrassed by the female Tamer across from them. He noticed that her gaze didn't seem to stray much from his form, and the ToyAgumon didn't quite know how to feel about this. Some of the other members of the Web Troopers had eyed him up and down when Shimato had first joined the group, but even then it was still a strange thing for the Digimon to deal with. When the girl's gaze left him and towards his partner, Tumble let out a sigh of relief. When the young girl introduced herself as Rosaline, and her partner as Berry, both Tamer and Digimon gave her smiles and responded simultaneously, "Nice to meet you, Rosaline! You too, Berry!" They both also realized that they had already said it was nice to meet them, and gave a small apology. Shimato began to take in Rosaline's appearance a bit closer after she introduced herself. She seemed to be quite as youthful as he in age, but there was a slight height difference. As she eventually moved closer to sit at the picnic table with him and Tumble, he began to notice fully that she was walking with a slight difficulty. Like she was dizzy, or.... drunk? That would explain the slight scent of alcohol that drifted through the air, which he might not have initially picked up on. If that was the case, then she didn't seem three sheets to wind drunk, merely decently buzzed by Shimato's standards. Standards by which, considering that Shimato only drank on occasion, were fairly low. The Tamer's thought process was derailed by Rosaline's sudden question of their allegiance. " Well, that was certainly out of left field," Shimato mused to himself in his mind, his eyes widening slightly at her query. Both him and Tumble shared a look between themselves as if asking the other how they should respond. Members of the Web Troopers didn't often make their identities very public information, and, if this girl was one of the more radical members of one of the other factions, then this could cause problems in the future. Though Shimato did have the communicator in his head if any trouble did arise, so the pink-haired youth decided that honesty was the best policy. Shimato leaned forward on the picnic table, his chin resting on his intertwined hands, before choosing to answer her question, "Believe it or not, we're not loners. We're actually with the Web Troopers." There was a small, almost undetectable gleam in his eyes as he spoke. Tumble was usually the only one who noticed the look that his Tamer got when talking to interesting people, and it was interesting to the Rookie to see how the young man's eyes lit up in these types of talks. "That means we're not interested in starting anything, so, please, don't jump us now that we've told you that." The ToyAgumon shot the pair across from them an almost pleading look. Unlike his Tamer, Tumble was less confident in the decision to inform two strangers of their affiliation. Rosaline Corzett

"oh - ho!"
as rosaline trilled in delight at the information that had been lain before them, her digimon cast the other pairing an alarmed look. neither had expected a response - or at least, not a genuine one. most were careful when it came to declaring where they stood for such knowledge could be easily wielded against them. loners, for example, could be viewed as simple targets due to their inability to call upon a plethora of allies at a moment's notice.
"i see," she purred.
she rested her head upon crossed arms, partially laying upon the picnic table's surface with a little sigh of relief. her eyes would drift shut as she breathed deeply and allowed herself a moment to relax. berry would remain tense - as usual.
"i don't know much 'bout the web troopers," she said. "i know they love their gas masks, though."
rosaline had encountered a few here and there, but her knowledge of them was laughably inadequate.
"berry and i are alone," she fibbed. "we've been together for a year or so, i think. at least it feels like it's - cough - it's been a year."
"about that, yes," berry confirmed.
"so there isn't any need to worry," she said. "we're not gonna jump you. we keep to ourselves and stay safe because of it."
"you are toyagumon," the digimon said, having dedicated a moment to visually examine the puppet beast. "encountered one of your kind before - was very tough."
rosaline chuckled at berry's morbid recollections, its expression notably flat as it spoke.
"i bet this one's stronger," she said, conversationally. "i bet you've got a lot of experience, hm?"
she grinned at shimato, the smile surprisingly sharp as she patiently waited for a response. The obvious delight at his response gave Shimato some slight amount of pause. Was Rosaline pleased that he seemed to give her a truthful response? The young man's mind began to wonder what exactly that could be implying but decided not to openly question it. It would be rude to essentially interrogating someone over their choice of words. Shimato would absolutely hate to be impolite to a lady of whom he just met, especially one who seemed non-threatening and somewhat interesting. When Rosaline eventually made mention of the Web Trooper's love of gas masks, Shimato couldn't help but laugh a little, "Yes, that is one of the things we get most recognized for. Those are just for field work though, to keep people from knowing who we are at a glance." The Tamer himself had one, tucked away in his apartment, but he had left it at home for believing that he didn't need it. "But as you can tell, I don't usually mind telling others of whom I work with. This might sound a bit naive or maybe over-confident, but I actually just prefer to be honest."Tumble eventually let out a sigh of relief when Rosaline and Berry explained that they were loners and had no desire to jump them. As the ToyAgumon was as trusting as his partner, there wasn't even really a thought in his mind that they were lying. "I apologize for being paranoid. It's just that... with the whole turf war between everyone, it's starting to get a little worrying around here."When Berry began to point out and talk about his species, Tumble scratched the back of his head sheepishly. He didn't quite know how to feel about another Digimon commenting on his strength after fighting another one of his kind. "People seemed to underestimate ToyAgumon, and some of the other Puppet-types, for our appearance. But I'm glad that you say that my kind is tough."Shimato chuckled lightly at his partner's somewhat awkward response and was about to give his partner a pat on the back, but his attention was immediately grabbed by Rosaline's comments. There was something about the rather sharp, pointed smile that she gave him while asking about Tumble's experience level that made Shimato stop in his tracks. He wasn't quite sure why, but he gave her a rather devious smile in return. "Well, of course, he's stronger than whatever ToyAgumon Berry fought. He's been in our world for two years, and he's no slouch against a random bio-emerging Digimon."Rosaline Corzett

"mmm."
the young woman concealed her face by making use of her crossed arms, her unintelligible response smothered because of it. despite her posturing she was listening intently to the conversation, eyes drifting shut as she digested each word with that muddle brain of hers. eventually, she would raise her head, sniffle a bit and speak.
"it's... necessary, i guess," she said, licking her lips in an absent fashion. "the 'turf war', i mean. everybody wants power, right? wants recogni - cough - recognition. but everyone has their own way of doing it. now that's the interesting part, isn't it?"
she inclined her head a bit before craning her neck to peer at the sky which was presently covered in a loose gathering of clouds. it was a beautiful night, with enough warmth present to allow for all here to sit in comfort. the weather would take a dramatic shift soon, and winter would settle as the year neared its end.
"i - "
rosaline paused and truly eyed shimato for a moment. she had finally taken notice to that interested gleam, his gaze remaining settled upon her as he spoke. it appeared as though he had developed an interest in her character - which surprised her, somewhat. she managed to keep her face neutral, though her eyebrows rose a little as their eyes met.
'i'll have to be careful with this one. he seems... smart.'
"two years, huh? that's impressive," she said, tilting her head lightly to the side.
"very. and still alive and well, too," berry chirped, pleased.

"Necessary is a mild term for the conflict in the city as of late." Shimato piped up, Tumble looking at his Tamer with a curious glance. The Tamer swiftly put one leg over the other and rested his chin on the open palm of his right hand. Shooting his partner a confident glance, Shimato continued with his thought. "Despite my neutral stand point in the conflict, along with that of the rest of the Web Troopers, the turf war is actually providing a service to the city. It's making Tamers and their Digimon stronger, providing us a reason to go out and buy cards, and keeping the city free of bio-emerging Digimon because we all want to get to their data."Tumble nodded at the pink-haired young man, but the Digimon crossed his arms. "While that is true, the turf war is making it dangerous for anyone on any of the sides, and even for the loners. Which, as I said earlier, is why I was worried about diverging our affiliation."Shimato nodded at his partner's words but kept his gaze seemingly locked on Rosaline. Outside of the Web Troopers, Shimato hadn't had much interaction with other Tamers, and, given their current conversation, he began to think he needed to get out a bit more. Despite her apparent muddled mindset, Rosaline's apparent morals and intelligence made for a very interesting conversation partner. When she eventually raised her eyebrows at him, Shimato blinked owlishly for a moment. Perhaps he had been rude by staring at her too much? That, or perhaps she was a little perturbed by him analyzing her person. Tumble, on the other hand, wasn't paying too much attention to Shimato and Rosaline's psychological eye warfare and had returned to enjoying the conversation at hand. "Nah, I'm not too great myself. If it wasn't for Shimato and his well-timed card usage, I'd have probably been deleted at this point." The ToyAgumon was looking sheepish, and twiddling his fingers. He then turned towards Berry and said, "You seem to be doing good for yourself too, Berry. If you've been in the human world for a year, you probably have as much experience as I do."When Rosaline eventually began inquiring as to what the Web Troopers offered/did for him, Shimato had to pause and mull his thoughts over. His gaze briefly turned to the sky above them, absentmindedly noting one of the clouds looked like a rabbit, before his eyes leveled back at the girl across from him. "Well, if I'm being honest, it's because there are not many people willing to harbor and empower hackers. Considering that's what the majority of our group is, it fits me rather well. That, alongside the fact that I am very interested in learning things about Digimon and that I get to mostly be neutral in the turf war." Rosaline Corzett

"hackers, hm?"
her fingers tapped against the surface of the picnic table, her gaze averting itself as she took a moment to consider her response to this.
"my knowledge of computers is pitiful - laughably so."
she had never really developed an interest in the complexities of hardware, nor was she likely to make the decision of investing time towards learning the modern art of coding.
"... i think i'll leave that sort of thing to the experts."
it was strange to realize that one's self was involved in a literal war. and because of the situation as a whole anyone's actions could potentially carry weight. it had frightened her once she had realized this - and she was granted the option to simply hide, to take advantage of the situation, or make an attempt to segregate herself from the ordeal as a whole. but her attachment to berry had influenced her decision to affiliate herself with nightmare and the desire to gain access to easy money was overwhelmingly tempting.
"we have enough experience to last for a bit longer," berry said.
rosaline arched a brow in response to such words.
"i believe - heh - that berry means that we need to make progress and strengthen ourselves so we can survive in this little war."
she would then coo at toyagumon.
"then we can deal with cute digimon such as yourself."
the woman laughed a bit after a brief pause and shook her head.
"but like i said before - we won't screw with anyone affiliated with those big and bad factions. i'm no idiot."
"why were you out here tonight?" berry asked.
"ooo, that's a good question. lemme guess. mmm."
the woman tapped her chin before snapping her fingers, her features brightening.

"To be honest, computers aren't everyone's cup of tea, and I didn't even get into coding and such until shortly before I met Tumble."
Shimato waved off her comment and gave her a polite smile, shutting his eyes as he did so. "I'm by no means an expert, it's just a skill set to me. Besides, it's not like owning a Digimon requires you to know about all things digital and such."
The fact that he was on one of the four major sides of an urban turf war hadn't been something the young man had initially hit Shimato when he first joined the Web Troopers. Like some, he was blissfully unaware at first that there was even really any sort of struggle going on in the streets. It wasn't till he caught wind of some members of the Web Troopers getting attacked by unknown members of one of the other factions that the repercussions of picking a side hit him. Anything he did could potentially lead to his own harm, but also the harm of his partner, and maybe the rest of his group. The thought still plagued him, but he continued to try and remain as close to his normal self as he could.
Tumble, who was now attempting and failing to sit cross-legged, hummed in thought. "I should believe a year's worth of experience would help get you through the current status quo of the war. But yes, if the conflict picks up, then any experience you can get at this point would be worth the risk." When Rosaline made a comment of them being able to take on cute Digimon like him, the ToyAgumon couldn't help but chuckle a little, "I think you could probably take me to the cleaners right now if you wanted to, so I'd hate to know how you'd do if you get stronger."
Seeing Tumble enjoying himself some now that he let his worries go a little made Shimato fairly happy. The ToyAgumon didn't get the chance to interact with others, especially other Digimon, so this was probably making his night.
"Was I going to a visit a lover?!" The question caught the pink-haired Tamer so off guard that he had to somewhat repeat it out loud. His face had a look of incredulous amusement, his shoulders shaking with barely constrained laughter. "No, nothing like that, Rosaline! I am quite single in fact. Not by my own choice, but still@" While giggling rather loudly, Shimato patted Tumble on the shoulders, shaking the Puppet Digimon somewhat, "T-Tumble wanted to go to the park to get out of the apartment!"
Tumble could only roll his eyes at the sheer silliness of his partner sometimes and kept a somewhat straight face while still smiling. "Yeah, he's telling the truth. But why are you guys out here so late? Just heading home, or do you have a hot date yourself, Rosaline?"

"i fucking wish."
the young woman shifted within the confines of her seat, inwardly relishing the warmth that the alcohol had generated within her lanky shape. there was also a superb numbness present, her nerves somewhat deadened due to her drink of choice.
"you know how great it'd be to have a nice woman to squeeze right now?" she said. "i'd even make do with a man - drinking always hits me with that urge."
her tongue was loose, and she waggled it without hesitance. berry was only slightly relieved that she possessed enough self-control to not utter secrets of a personal nature to the youth and his digimon. though the digimon remained somewhat tense, casting her concerned glances in hopes that she would not allow for sensitive information in regards to her true allegiance to slip free. but it appeared as though rosaline remained capable enough to keep such things to herself. the conversation was, thankfully, shifting to another topic entirely.
"but enough about that - gets me depressed, ya know?" she continued, her smile ever-present. "let's get back to talking 'bout digimon - "
' but of course,' the tsukaimon thought, forlorn.
"that's the hottest topic, after all," rosaline said, her look positively wolfish. "it makes me wonder how things will be when people start reaching higher tiers. when you hit the 'highest level', and there's not much of a need to keep involving yourself in those little skirmishes of varying importance."
she sat up a bit more, allowing for her words to sink in for a moment.
"what then? world domination? movement to dispatch another faction entirely? become some big-time hero that the public praise?"

"i fucking wish." That was a... strong response. Granted Shimato's intense giggle fit hadn't exactly been an entirely tame response, but Rosaline's words actually caught the young man off guard. Her words following said response, alongside her wild tongue waggling, actually made him blush bright red. His earlier assessment that she was tipsy had been proven fairly accurate, unless if this was actually how Rosaline acted normally. Said deduction was possibly inaccurate given how Berry kept worriedly looking at the female Tamer, but Shimato kept the idea in the back of his mind. "Well, you certainly know what you want, so there's that at least!" Shimato was actively attempted to calm himself and be rid of the pink that he could feel dusting his face, "But I can understand how you feel, I wouldn't mind myself a woman to be affectionate with. Or man, for that matter. I'm not exactly picky when it comes to gender."
Tumble could only sigh at the current state of his Tamer and the conversation at hand. Shimato was notably referred to as a 'cinnamon roll' by some of the other members of the Web Troopers, which the Digimon could only mean he acted somewhat innocent or easily blushed at certain topics, and he had no doubt that the other two might notice said behavior. The Digimon did find Rosaline's behavior somewhat comical, and he could somewhat sympathize with Berry in this exact situation. Whenever Shimato drank, he got somewhat more loose and entertaining, but also somewhat vulgar and sexual, meaning that the ToyAgumon had to attempt to reign him in. Tumble could only imagine that Berry was sort of going something similar right now. When Rosaline eventually changed the topic of conversation, Tumble breathed a sigh of relief and Shimato merely cleared his throat for a moment. His blush had mostly dispersed by the time he began to absorb and think over her words. What exactly would happen once someone reached the strongest level possible for a Digimon and Tamer? Shimato suspected that nothing like that would happen without some sort of citywide event happening, meaning that most of those in the war would be aware. If that were to happen, then the factions who opposed whoever reached that level would more than likely hunker down and prepare their defenses. If said person was a loner, it's possible there'd be almost a ceasefire of sorts while the factions possibly attempt to perform a manhunt against this person. Overall, the world would somewhat be the oyster of whoever became the strongest, and they could technically accomplish anything they set their power to. "Whoever reaches the Mega level first will probably be able to accomplish whatever they want," Tumble responded, his blocky chin being held by his hand. Shimato was actually somewhat surprised that his partner spoke up before him. "Depending on what faction they are part of, they might decide they want to wipe out the other three-fourths of the turf war. If they are a loner, they might decide to make sure the factions can't fight ever again or reach their level. If they decided that the city was merely a small time conflict, they could destroy or take control over anything they wished. They'd basically be a savior or a scourge upon the world." "Tumble has a point. This hypothetical strongest person in the city would basically be able to do anything. Their only limitation would be their morality and imagination." Shimato was resting his chin on a balled up fist, his arm being propped up by his elbow against the table. "Personally, I don't know what I'd do if that person was me. But what about you, Rosaline? What would you do if you were the first person to reach the highest level?"Rosaline Corzett

the young woman scoffed, brows furrowing at the mere thought of her being the first to acquire such a level. no, she had no intention of assuming she had a minuscule of a chance of obtaining that amount of power before anyone else.
"unlikely," she said. "shimato, i don't have any shitty self-esteem issues or anything - but there are people who have been playing this 'game' far longer than i."
'but that isn't the question he's asking, is it?'
rosaline's expression would flatten, her lips forming into a thin line as she took a moment to seriously consider how she would handle the unrealistic scenario.
"i don't know," she said, biting her lip. "i wouldn't tell anyone, first of all. that's too much attention - too many eyes on you - too many expectations to live up to."
she shot berry a look.
"hiding is good," berry replied, nodding its approval.
the digimon managed a small and shaky smile at that moment.
"but we will all reach that point if we continue as we are," it said, glancing at toyagumon before shifting its gaze elsewhere. "will we fight one day, i wonder?"
"no," rosaline said, then shook her head. "no, i can't say that, can i? we may end up on opposite sides of the war. which is fine - that's life. but i'm sure you won't hesitate, and neither will i. no hard feelings, am i right?"
her smile finally made its return as she focused on the more positive aspects of the conversation.
"could fight, hm?" berry muttered, appearing displeased by the likelihood of it.

"I apologize for presenting you with a possibly ludicrous hypothetical question, but I can wholeheartedly empathize with your response." Shimato's expression was one of thoughtful concentration, his eyes occasionally looking elsewhere as he began to contemplate how to further the conversation. When he eventually managed to organize his thoughts, he laid his head on the top of his arms, his eyes straying back to Rosaline and Berry, "I'd want to keep as few people as knowing as I could unless necessary circumstances arose. I'd probably be selfish and only want to use the power to keep myself and those I give a damn about secure. Granted, if I saw an opportunity to make a difference for what I perceive to be the better, then I can't exactly promise I wouldn't take said chance."Tumble, on the other hand, caught the look that Berry had given him and gave the Tsukaimon a concerned look. From what the Digimon could gather about the Virus-type across from him, Berry seemed to dislike confrontation. The idea seemed to put him on edge, making the already visibly skittish Digimon look more nervous. Tumble didn't exactly like the idea of fighting with Berry and Rosaline, but the ToyAgumon found himself agreeing with the female Tamer's words. If push came to shove, he had no doubt that both pairs wouldn't hesitate to come to blows. "If we do ever have to fight, I do hope that it won't sour our current pleasant demeanor towards each other..." For a moment, the ToyAgumon had a sullen look on his face, sighing momentarily before giving Rosaline and Berry a pleasant, beaming smile. "But we all seem to be reasonable people, so I'm willing to bet that none of us will take fighting too personally."Continuing to lay his head on his arms, Shimato shuffled lightly, making his pink hair obscure one of his eyes. This meant that his cyclopean gaze stayed level at his new acquaintances, only briefly shifting to Tumble as he spoke. The Tamer agreed with his partner, showing said feeling by giving a sort of semi-nod while maintaining his position. Shimato was currently off in his own world, attempting to collect and gather his thoughts about the Tamer and Digimon in front of him. His general impression of the pair was that they were shrewd and intelligent, despite Rosaline's current drunken state, and at least somewhat keyed into their surroundings. They had a decent amount of experience, and the young man could deduce that they made good partners. Whether or not any of the information they had divulged to him and Tumble was false or not, Shimato couldn't tell, but he could tell that they weren't an obvious threat. Perhaps, just maybe, these two could be potential allies... "Say, Rosaline," Shimato slowly rose back up, his bubble gum colored locks still covering his right eye, an almost business-like tone escaping out of his mouth, "though we may have to wind up fighting in the future, and even though we just met, is there any way I could convince you to form a minor alliance of sorts?"Tumble began to shoot his Tamer with a questioning look, almost deigning to ask just what Shimato was planning, but he decided to let the human do as he saw fit. He hadn't failed the Digimon yet, so, the ToyAgumon would give him the benefit of the doubt. "Now I don't mean that we will actively help each other all the time. Though assistance like that would not go unappreciated, what I am proposing is more so a trade of information. If I find out about the Web Troopers making any unlikely moves against the other factions, or are moving to investigate a certain area or any other information I can scrounge up, then I can send you a quick heads-up. Though you say you are not a faction member, you may still wind up joining one or get information somehow as a loner. In exchange for my help, you send me helpful information so I might not wander into any minefields myself. Thoughts?"Rosaline Corzett
