Kaida shows a pragmatic and, at times, animalistic mindset. She does what she has to do to survive and doesn't quite think on what would be considered "nice" or "moral" if it gives her and any close allies a bigger chance to survive a given situation. Like a cornered beast, she makes fierce eye contact at all times and even has a tendency to growl or hiss if it gives her some intimidation factor. [break] [break]
However, under this is a highly fearless and loyal creature. She considers anybody even vaguely connected to her a part of herself, especially her Digimon partner, and will go through hell to ensure that they are alright. Of course, getting to this point is ridiculously difficult, and she will always expect this kind or loyalty back.

Kaida is a relentlessly quiet girl. Commotion is not her cup of tea, and she prefers to get her point across with some kind of action instead of spending lots of time explaining something. Unfortunately, this means conversations easily irritate her, and she gets irritated by alot. If talking with somebody doesn't have a point, she will end it as soon as possible, usually with a boorish remark or two to earn her a new enemy. Additionally, any rude remark towards her will cause her to explode, exposing a rather short temper. [break] [break] Kaida shows a pragmatic and, at times, animalistic mindset. Then one day she came home with bruises and a furious, little smirk. A fight, now she was alienated from everyone unimportant, and she liked it that way. Her parents were worried sick, but she was fine, just fine. School was harder, now that she had enemies that hunted her and enemies to hunt, but it was complete...and her life changed. A serpent was following her home, a creature of data, of virus. She only spotted it a few times at first, around the time she discovered a D-Power, thought it was just her imagination, but one day it finally spoke! Spawned to accompany a solitary presence, he promised to protect her in any way he could. It was...charming. Kaida kept him, hid him from her parents, but she noticed one thing. More of those creatures showed up occasionally, and she hated how unnerved she was. [break] [break]
She ran. Her parents were too important to get attacked by such creatures. She met the Nightmare faction first, they were strong, eager to fight, and she joined. Perhaps she could disappear in a sea of uninteresting faces and just live with her Digimon, fighting, fighting, fighting.
