[attr="class","info_num"] 01 | [attr="class","info_head"] UNITY PATCH 1.01 |
[attr="class","info_text"]Attention to all players! Thank you for helping to make Digimon : Unity's first week a rousing success! While we already have a strong start, we Developers and Operators are diligent in fine-tuning Unity's systems and to help promote balance! And that means only one thing... it's patch time!
[break][break]
Pay attention closely as this stuff is important!
First on the agenda concerning the Experience trait for Loner Tamers. We offer Experience as an option for players whom while do not want their character to start out in a gang to still be able to say that their prized character is at least a bit more of a veteran than other! Unfortunately, Experience may be TOO good of a trait compared to Loner tamers' other choices for traits. We're putting a little of Experience's excess power with it's free bonus stats into improving Lucky Drop's chances (and even equalizing the equally RNG-reliant Five Finger Discount trait for you Nightmare boys and girls).
[break][break]
[ FIVE FINGER DISCOUNT ][break]
- Whenever you purchase a pack of cards, you may attempt to steal an extra one by rolling a die. If the number is 50 or higher, then you are successful in stealing an additional pack of cards, and obtain two for the price of one. If you fail, then you are caught, and lose the Bytes spent on the pack and do not obtain any packs.
[break][break]
[ EXPERIENCE ][break]
- You've been at it alone for some time now, and have learned a thing or two. When creating a new character with this trait, you gain 5 additional points to distribute amongst your statistics, as well as 10 random additional cards to add to your collection. After your start, this trait has no effect.
[break][break]
[break][ LUCKY DROP ][break]
- You sometimes just have the best luck. At the end of a thread, you may roll a die and tag a member of staff. If the roll is 50 or higher, you will receive a random Rare or higher card of that staff member's choice.
[break][break]
For those whom have picked Experience, unfortunately we will need you to drop your stats some to accommodate the new numbers. Post into this thread to alert us to what points you'd like deducted from your stats (And for any Lucky Drop or Five Finger Discounts folks who may want the trait edited in their profile)!
Status effects can change the flow of battle if used properly, but unfortunately they may be currently a bit TOO easy to cure. With several cards or discs that can cure status effects, for those who may rely on the already RNG-dependent nature of status effects to get their work done... well, it can prove to be a bit difficult. We're giving the more common ways of curing status effects a bit more of a drawback compared to more rare methods to help future-proof this type of problem from arising.
