"...Fie."
His shinai is sheathed in a smooth motion as the craven Vemmon makes it's exit, a quiet sigh escaping him as he then takes a glance to the abandoned tamer, and then to his temporary partner in combat. Truly, this whole matter had been a farce upon the part of the attacker: the Vemmon had been forced to retreat, and the tamer was laying upon the ground, bleeding quite profusely. At the very least he was not dead. He could coincide with the reasoning Kaida gave him. There was no data to be given by the death of a human. After all, they were made from flesh and blood, such squishy things. No hard things such as byte or data, something that their programming could envelop and take as their own. His head shook quietly.
"Do not try and justify thy reasoning as to why you spared him. That makes your reasoning seem weaker... But I do agree with it. There is no reason to kill someone who seems to be so strongly strung around by their partner." If he had a nose, it'd be ruffling from just the slightest sense of disappointment in the tamer. To not be able to control their partner... And to even be strung around them. This human just seemed a tad bit pathetic instead of the usual cadre he'd come across. And the bleeding would look quite ugly on the pavement too. He didn't have anything to tie the wounds with, though. His eyes awkwardly averted from the curled up boy and then to Kaida.
"What're you going to do about him? Leaving him in such a sorry state here would leave a rather bad taste upon my mouth. I do not know about thy, but." He waddles his way over to Hisan'na, stretching his leg out juuust enough to gently poke the side of the limp and crying fellow. "He should at least be patched up. Or preferably taken unto a place that could treat him better than you or I. 'Tis our responsibility." He glances over his shoulder at Kaida, yellow eyes blinking. "Or rather, thy responsibility."
Despite those words, he quietly extended his hand out to Hisan'na, waiting to see if he'd take it. His long sleeve hung in the air during the wait, occasionally swinging from side to side. It was going to rain soon, he felt the sensation going down his spine. What a pain.Hisan'na Meshitsukai Kaida Adachi

At first, it seemed like Hisan'na didn't respond to the prodding by the Kotemon, their words seemingly ignored. It was if any sense of care had completely drained from the boy. As Chousen extended his hand towards him, the boy slowly, shakily, climbed to his feet, not even taking the hand. For a moment he stood there, swaying as blood ran down his arm and leg. He made no sound, and his eyes were hidden by his hair, which flopped messily over his face.
"Worthless..."
His tone indicated that his remark wasn't aimed at any of them, as the boy turned and slowly walked away. He swayed from side to side, leaving a small trail of blood behind him. It looked like the boy was barely able to keep upright, shuffling along like a zombie as he began to walk away into the darkness.

Kaida sniffed as her temporary partner spoke of this pitiful human human in front of them, "strongly strung" seemed a weak word, "completely dominated" seemed a far more appropriate word. Her lip curled back uncontrollably, this was not an exceptional individual right here, how you managed to get a Digimon partner that didn't at least care was beyond her, especially since a Digivice had apparently formed in the partnership. Kaida met the Digimon's eyes, and her face dropped. No, this creature was not going to make her help an enemy! She already spared him! She froze stock still as the Digimon continued on and went on to even try to help the kid stand up, her head tilted as the injured human didn't take the hand, and she finally broke eye contact with the scene as the Digimon placed the weight upon her shoulders. She hated it! She shifted her weight from foot to foot, and Jorgie butted into her legs in confusion, eyes shimmering in confusion and worry. Was keeping some supplies really worth losing a possible connection? And with a Digimon! She suddenly bent down, scooping up Jorgie, who wrapped around her arm with a quizzical grunt, then trotted out besides the boy. She'd tap his shoulder very briefly, and suck in a breath as if preparing herself for what she'd do next. " Hmph...c'mon, Nightmare won't notice lost supplies. Don't go to a doctor, you don't have an explanation." Jorgie snorted and tightened around her arm, but didn't interrupt. As she tried to guide the kid, she cast a glance over her shoulder and stared blankly at his wound, " Coming? I have cards?" Chousen Hisan'na Meshitsukai

He watched as the boy rose and left without taking his hand, lowering it. At least the woman seemed to be shaken enough to go after him. That was more than grand for Chousen: despite the offer of mercy, he wasn't the biggest on joining up with humans. One human friend would be enough, the rest could simply owe favors to him. As the two slowly separated in distance from Chousen, he turned his head up to look at the clouds. They slowly drifted along the sky until they revealed the moon, full and round like a wheel of cheese, it's bright glow bringing some light to the gloomy evening. He then looked down at the ground and at the blood, sighing quietly. "Humans can be so messy."
With those words Chousen turned around and away from the two humans and the woman's partner, feet slapping against the pavement as he waddled his way over to a pier. So, the edge of the pier was a bad place to fish, huh? He'd like to see her try. He dug through his clothing for another string, nodding to himself once he found it, quickly tying it around the tip of the shinai. Finding his other hook was a more worriesome affair, having to search through every pocket at least twice before finding it. Good, good, he was almost afraid he'd lost his spare during the little scuffle. The final step was to find something suitable. Another piece of dried meat would do.
And thus he swung round and round before casting his lure, sitting at the end of the pier for what felt like ages, even though at most it must've been about half a hour. Even if it wouldn't bite, Chousen felt some form of inner peace from the simple act of fishing, even if he could not exactly catch anything. His yellow eyes closed, only to rip open at the sudden tugging of the hook. He quickly yanked back as hard as he could, falling onto his back as his catch fell right against his kendo helmet's grate:

Hisan'na stumbled and swayed as he walked away, barely even registering the girl's approach before she suddenly took his shoulder. The boy slowly turned to look at her, finally showing her the look of complete hopelessness on his face. The look someone had who seemed to have been completely gutted and the only thing keeping them from throwing themselves off of a bridge was the distance between them and the nearest bridge.
What she said brought a bit of confusion to his face. She was...offering to help him? Why would she do that? She was the one who did this to him, the one who showed him a complete failure, resulting in Masuta abandoning him. "I...wasn't going to a doctor," he murmured, a dark hint at where he might have REALLY been going. As the girl began to guide him, he couldn't help but let his confusion grow. "Why...why are you helping? Why didn't you finish me off? That's...how it's supposed to go. Right? The strong dominate...the weak perish. Isn't that how it always is?" Something in the way he spoke indicated that perhaps this mindset didn't come solely from his abusive partner.

Kaida shrugged as the lone Digimon decided to stay behind, she didn't mind. Most Digimon were caught or put into a partnership the moment they entered the world. If he had survived this long without a Tamer, then she was likely to see them again, it was a surprisingly nice thought. She blinked momentarily when he stated his intent wasn't to go to the doctor, then a shudder of revulsion rolled down her spine as dark thoughts flooded her mind. Then where's he goi-oh...oh...She shook her head viciously as a bleary look entered her eyes. Jorgie, unaware of the conclusion she had become privy to, simply tilted his head and glared at the boy like it was his fault his Tamer looked so...uncomfortable. Kaida glanced out of the corners of her eyes at the boy and grumbled incoherently, he was right in that regard, prey was always first to fall. That's why she would never become prey. " Yes. That's how things work." Jorgie was smiling, admiration had entered his previously baffled eyes, there was the Kaida he knew, and she was spurred on by his clear support, animalistic snarl twisting her face, " You're not worth it, not data, not food, and I don't need money...I just don't need bastards breathing down my neck because some idiot died in the street." She rubbed at her jaw and pulled up her bandana, talking that much felt weird...she didn't plan on doing that again anytime soon. Already her mind was racing on how to even do this, Jorgie would have to bring supplies. At the very least bandages, maybe disinfectant but she didn't think he had bacteria to spread. Bandages were fine, long as she remembered where she even kept them in this side of the city. Jorgie seemed to remember and, having picked up on her train of thought, leapt off her arm and suddenly vanished from view down some non-descript alley. " Don't tell anyone." She spouted off like she was reading some list, she might as well have been doing so considering this kid now knew where this was and she expected him to take full advantage, " I'm obliged to chase you if I see you here. Don't take too much. And," Her face hardened, " If I see your partner here I'll kill him." Right on cue, a serpent perked its head out the corner, roll of bandages in its maw. " Done this before, c'mon...let's get this over with." She breezed into the darkness and beckoned the boy, eyes blank with what seemed like boredom. Hisan'na Meshitsukai

The girl basically confirmed Hisan'na's mind set, reasoning she was only helping to avoid trouble for herself. It made sense really. It was why his family tolerated him, even when he was worthless. After all, it would damage their fine reputation if they discarded their child. Though really Hisan'na himself wouldn't blame them.
He was led down to a dark alley, before the girl's serpentine partner vanished into the darkness. As she spoke off some 'rules', Hisan'na could only dumbly nod. He hadn't been paying attention to where they were going, had no intention of stealing anything, and he doubted he'd ever see his partner again. The thought was tearing him up inside. His one use in life was now gone. "You don't need to worry. I doubt Masuta will have anything to do with me."
As the serpantmon returned and the woman beckoned him into the darkness, Hisan'na didn't care as he approached her. She could be luring him in to mug him and he didn't care at this point.

Kaida knelt down and scratched Jorgie on the head as he nosed the clean bandages into her hand, she was tired, she was angry, and now she was going to need to ask for more supplies. Nightmare was going to think she was incompetent if she was always asking for stuff. Nevermind the fact Nightmare promoted loyalty, she was not becoming a burden if she could help it. Thankfully for the boy, she also intended to keep her word. With an angry growl, she unraveled the bandages, tiny smirk on her face once the cathartic tearing sounded out. She shook her head at the boy's assumption his partner wouldn't reappear, " Can't be that stupid. Needs a Tamer." Even that lone Digimon would be comparatively weaker in comparison to the versatile Jorgie. A Digimon needed a Tamer, and even that creature had to know it. A quick burst of anger crossed her face as the boy approached without the slightest bit of cuaution, she felt it as a personal insult to see something so uncaring of its own survival, and she harshly stood up and snatched up his arm. She was no doctor, she knew this, but she patched herself up once or twice. It usually left a scar, but she hoped he'd consider that better than death. To say her style was clumsy was a bit of an understatement, and she grimaced as the bandages generally covered the wound but started to bleed through. With too much thought, she "fixed" this with a conspicuous wad of bandages over the wound...it wasn't bleeding, and that was a win. Her fingers tingled, unused to contact besides with Jorgie, and she repeated the already rushed process on the boy's leg before attempting to push the roll into the boy's hands. " Keep it." She growled, glaring at her messy job with disdain, she really had to learn more...but regardless, she was done. " Put more on if it bleeds, don't rip them off." She didn't think she had to tell him the last part but she didn't know if he was worse at this than she was. She stared a little while longer, as if determining something, and continued in the same flat tone she had adopted the whole one-sided conversation, " Got a home, go to it, this place is mine today. See you." Word kept, she whirled on her heel and traversed into the darkness. The crimson eyes of Jorgie stuck a little while longer on the boy's wounds, right before he smirked and followed. She was so tired... Hisan'na Meshitsukai

Hisan'na flinched, reflexively gritting his teeth as she gripped his injured arm and yanked him towards her. He stood there quietly as the girl began applying the bandages, responding that Masuta needed a tamer. Even if that was the case, why would he go back for him? "There are others much better than me..." he murmured.
He watched as she rather clumsily applied the bandages. She was NOT good at this. Hisan'na had had to apply his own bandages at times, and knew how to do it properly. But he didn't say anything, taking note of the growl on the girl's face. No sense in angering her further. Once that was done, she pushed the remaining bandages into his hands, telling him to go home. "O-Ok. Thank you..." he replied lamely before turning and starting to limp out of the alleyway. Go home. That was all he could do, right?
What else could he do?
