Hyde loved Japan. Or rather, loved the utter insanity that he held underneath that mask of politeness and restraint. It really allowed someone to cut loose and just have some fun with life. But that didn't mean that Hyde didn't miss his home of merry old England. There were times when he just wanted to get a little piece of home. That's where Shinagawa-Ku came in. The place was basically a piece of europe right here in Tokyo. The signs were in English, and there were a number of foreign restaurants here. Hyde often liked to see how the Japanese handled foreign dishes, like how folks in England tried Japanese dishes. But right now, Hyde was looking to get some good, old fashioned British pub food in him, and some beer (though that last part wasn't anything new). The man had discovered there was a british pub in the ward, and had become abit of a regular customer. He stepped into the warm, dimly lit building, immediately making a beeline to the bar. All the while, his partner Grimes kept himself hidden as he trailed him. It was a mystery how a being comprised of bright organ gears was able to keep himself hidden, but he was certainly pulling it off.

Shinagawa was not a place that Rei would of normally gone on her own-- so she had to go with the company of her older brother, Ryuji. The punkish looking older teen, a good 4 years older than she was, grumpily led the way down the street. Looking at him, most people would think he was a punk. The skull-shaped bandana he wore, the sport-jersey he wore and shorts, along with his sneakers. The perpetual grumpy look he wore didn't help-- which frustrated Rei at times. The fact is he never allowed a moment to show himself to be anything short but a tough guy... ... even though Rei knew better that he was a nice guy underneath. But this time he was grumpy, due to having traveled this far with her and the fact he had to 'babysit' her. "Can't believe I had to do this..." Ryuji grumbled, his hands in his pocket. Rei walked behind him and sighed as she clung to the straps of her 'backpack'. "You heard what Mom said. You wanted to have crab country bowl-- i need snow white crab and I can only get it here. If I have to go this far, 'you have to take me'. " Rei said with a firm tone to her brother-- who was pretty much twice as tall as she was. "Do you want crab for dinner?" Ryuji didn't answer but pouted-- which you knew he was defeated. "I want to have crab for dinner please..." he replied. "Okay then, " she said, "Then just help me get it out of the market and we can go home." As they walked, Rei caught the soft sound of a snicker from her backpack. "Hehe... who would have guessed who was the older sibling, yo?" Rei fought the urge to laugh herself and just squeezed the 'strap' of the backpack--- which turned out to be an oddly shaped creature. Sure, no one would think twice of a pre-teen kid with a funny looking backpack in the shape of a cartoon critter. Except this one wasn't a stuffed animal. It was completely still except for the occasional blink of his eyes, a yellow fuzzy critter with clothes of a vest, jeans and odd-audio speakers along its body and limbs. It's 'ears' were used as straps for her backpack. Rei rolled her eyes. "Musimon... please, don't you cause trouble too," she commented. "Hey, I'm on your side," Musimon said in a whimsicle whistle, "Your brother is the one wound up more times than a turn-table." Rei chuckled again-- Musimon always able to make her laugh when she needed it. Hopefully they wouldn't be out longer than an hour, and then she could get to cooking dinner.

Now THAT was a satisfying meal! Sure, some of the meals at that place could some work, but the guy could makeup a surprisingly good beef wellington. Or it could have just been the beer altering his perception of taste. He didn't know. All he really knew was that his meal was great, and that he was now most definitely sloshed. He had gotten some food to go (for Grimes of course, the little guy was most likely hungry) and stumbled his way out of the pub.
And not too long after found himself colliding with a young man.
Hyde's tall and lanky frame caused him to almost practically vault over the unfortunate teen, sending his food flying and causing him to practically faceplant into the pavement. It was hard to tell who exactly was at fault, whether it was the boy or Hyde who wasn't watching where they were going, or even both. The point was, Hyde's mood had instantly been soured.
"Alright, what the hell?"[/color] he growled, clutched his face lightly as he climbed to his feet to see who had run into him. It looked like some teenager with his...younger brother? Younger sister? Hyde wasn't too sure. Damn androgynous teenagers.

Nicholas HydeThe trip was going smoothly-- till some guy bumped into Ryuji. The initial shout was 'Alright, what the hell?" And it was that moment that Rei knew it was all gonna go south from there. Ryuji fell flat on his butt while Rei was a safe distance behind-- and he just grew a scowl that really was never a good sign. "DUDE! That's my line, yo!" Ryuji shouted, jumping to his feet with great skill. HIs time on a skateboard made him more durable than most. "Da hell you think you're doing? You drunk off yo ass?" The stench of him made it clear that was the case-- though Ryuji probably had not known it. Rei on the other hand was just rattled. With her too-long sleeves, she clung to her brother's arm to try and get him to stop. "Ryu, stop it. Don't start picking a fight again... least of all with an adult!" Even Musimon sighed, able to read Ryuji's mind as if it was a book. "Here we go again..." he whispered, more to himself than Rei. Rei glared back at the stranger, the seemingly more mature one of the pair of siblings.

Hyde let out a growl as he climbed to his feet, showing a decent amount of balance for someone who was completely smashed. The boy whom he ran into started mouthing off at him, further irritating the drunk man even moreso. "Yes as a matter of fact," Hyde replied, even while drunk his snarking abilities on point, "What's your excuse?" It was at that point the boy's younger sibling, who Hyde could now pick out as a girl due to her voice, implored her brother not to pick a fight. "Listen to your sis kid. Don't pick fights you can't win."
Hyde then glanced over where his food at been spilt. "Shit," he muttered. Grimes was not going to be happy about that.
Meanwhile, the clockwork digimon was watching from his hiding place, but he wasn't interested in the food. The girl's backpack had caught his attention. And as he eyed the curious thing, the 'bag in question might notice the gear digimon peeking out from behind some trash cans, watching them.

Nicholas HydeRei didn't like this man for his rather drunken attitude, but Ryuji's attitude wasn't improving matters. It just how her big brother was-- when confronted, he didn't know how to give up or back down. "Pick a fight?! You're the one fricken crashing into people, fool! How about you act like the adult here and admit your own faults, yo!" Musimon rolled his eyes behind Rei-- but soon caught sight of the odd shape of another Digimon-- A solarmon from a nearby ally. His eyes widened slightly, seeing the odd creature. Though he couldn't go anywhere, partly cause Rei had a hold of his ears as backpack straps, he just silently waved a hand to Solarmon, to give a simple hello. Ryuji cracked his knuckles as he shouted at the drunken foreigner. "A good Ryuji-Rap-Beat-down will sober you up, yo!" he said and drew his fist back to--- --- get his ear grabbed by his little sister who jumped up to catch him. "YEOW!! OW-OW-OW-OW-Ow-Yo!" Ryuji cried out. Rei's face was red between upset and embarassed as she pulled her brother's ear to get him to stop. "Ow-- Rei, come on! Knock it off!" Musimon used all his self-control to not laugh, his lips tightly sealed as Rei gently walked on away-- her simple pull causing Ryuji to follow him. "Ne-san, if I have to explain to mom why the police brought us home again, I'll stuff the crab down your throat," she said. Doing her best to ignore the drunk man. It was best for them to just defuse the situation as best as possible. "Just let it go..." As Rei passed the man, he could get a good look of Musimon on her back-- his form shaking not from her movement, but his contained laughter, while Ryuji was dragged along by his ear and his whining to get Rei to stop.

This kid was just itching for a fight, and to. Be honest the older man was not in the mood to deal with his shit. As the boy brought up his fists, ready for a fight, Hyde was more than ready to give this kid the beatdown her deserved. That was, until the girl suddenly gripped the loudmouth kid by the ear and started dragging him away. Hyde was gob smacked for a moment before laughing his ass off. Well, it was clear which one of the two siblings was in charge.
As the sister pulled her big brother away, he caught sight of the girl's 'backpack' trying not to laugh. The man blinked. Wad that what he thought it was? He couldn't say anything now, it would make him seem like a crazy person at the least, and could expose the girl's digimon at worst.
As they were walking away, Hyde caught sight of Grimes in his hiding place, beckoning him over. Hyde approached the mechanical digimon, keeping his voice low. "Did you see that boss?" Hyde nodded. "Digimon?" "Digimon."

Nicholas Hyde Rei had dragged Ryuji as far as the next market where they had to go, and then she finally let go of his hearing. "Yeow-- ow ow," he whined till she finally let go. He held on to his ear, feeling pain. "Damnit, Rei... that stung, yo." However, Rei just gave Ryu a crossed look with her hands on her hips. Though her appearance was small and hidden behind her choice of attire, she glared daggers up at her big brother. "You deserved it! Look, I am not gonna risk you causing trouble again and getting into a fight. Remember how bad Mom grilled you when that happened last time?" The scolding from Rei made Ryu stop his whining and straighten up. He showed a pained look on his face, realizing his sister was right. "Yeah..." "I won't let you put me through that again, alright? You got to learn to pick your battles better," she said firmly, a term she often remembered from the back of her mind. "Y-yeah, you're right, Rei. I'm sorry," Ryu said and hung his head low. "I wasn't thinking..." It was one of those rare moments that her big brother actually listened to her and wasn't the brat he acted out to be. She finally smiled again, calmed that the risk was over. "Okay, so let's just get the food we need and head home. I won't be long if you want to wait--" "Actually," Ryuji interrupted, holding a hand up, "I'll get it. I owe you one, so I'll buy the food. Why don't you rest for a bit and chill out, okay?" Rei was happy to get a break. "You sure? YOu do know what I need to make it?" She soon reached into her pocket and took out the scrap of paper of ingredients, along with the yen she needed to buy it. "I'll be fine, yo! Leave it to me," he said then looked over to the small section at the end of the street. There was a small park area with a few trees and grass, raised up by a stone wall to add some greenery to the city area. "Just chill there for a few minutes and I'll grab what we need." NOrmally, Rei knew they shouldn't split up and her to be alone, but with Musimon with her, she doubt it would be anything to worry about. "No worries. Just don't take too long," she said and Ryu ran off to grab the food. With a tired sigh, Rei reached a nearby bench and sat down. She swung Musimon around her like a traditional backpack and sat with him in her lap. Almost in turn, Musimon sighed as well. "Wow... No wonder your now a Digimon tamer. If you can tame the big guy, there is no digimon you can't tame..." Musimon commented. Rei's face turned red at her Digimon's words and she gave him a gentle bonk on the head. "Come on... you know Ryuji isn't half as bad as he acts." she defended.

With the discovery that this little girl possessed a digimon of her own, Hyde and Grimes had decided a little recon work was in order. The two had decided to track the girl and see what she was about. "I'm pretty sure the kid can handle herself," Grimes spoke up, "I mean, she handled her big brother easily enough." "Handlin' a loudmouthed punk and a digimon eager to eat your face are two separate things. Besides, I want to find out who she's with. Nightmare, Webtroopers, or the Busters. Gotta get info where you can get it. Especially if they're a possible rival, you know?"
Meanwhile, as Rei's brother went off to get the food, something was watching the little girl and her partner from a dark, nearby alleyway. Such delicious little prey. Her mouth was beginning to water as eight spindly legs shifted in agitation, ready to strike.

Nicholas HydeThe rushing of the nearby cars were a problem for Rei-- but with Musimon in her lap, he easily kept the ambient sound of the city at bay. His unique powers gave him dominion over sound waves, which he could manipulate however he choose. One of the ways the little guy played around it-- linked up directly with Rei's smartphone, which had some of her favorite music. Musimon easily read the data from it on her person and played some of her music off his speakers in a short-range area hearable to her-- like a mini portable sterio. While Ryuji shopped for her, she got to rest a bit. She looked up at the sky, relaxing as the clouds swayed by between the gaps of the buildings. "WOw... the sky is so much better than the digital world, yo," Musimon commented, watching the sky as well. Rei patted her friend on the head-- but soon her gaze came towards across the street. Where she saw the stranger from before looking in her direction. However, what really caught her attention was the large, gear-like creature behind him as well. "M-Musimon? Look over there? That man from before-- is that a Digimon with him?" she asked. Musimon snapped in attention and looked across the street. He saw them too, and wondered why they were approaching them. For the moment, the little Musimon kept calm in Rei's lap and waited. If he had to defend her a good Music Hour blast would make them think twice from messing with his tamer.

It really hadn't taken Hyde long to track down the kid. Surprising considering how small she was, and how busy the district was during this time of night. But there she was, chilling with her partner, completely alone. Hyde looked around for any sign of her brother. Either he knew about her partner and felt she was safe with him, or he was a very irresponsible sibling, something which put a sour taste in his mouth.
It was clear that they two had been spotted by now. No real sense in continuing to hide. Making sure there weren't any cars around, Hyde strode across the road towards her. His partner hung back, waiting for an opportunity to cross without freaking everyone out. Once Across, Hyde looked down at the little girl, keeping some distance so he wasn't invading her personal space. "It's dangerous to be out here alone. Where'd your brother run off to?"
