Lottie is the perfect example of how its a bad idea to mistake one's kindness for weakness. Lottie is for someone whom associates with Nightmare actually is a relatively affable and nice person overall. While somewhat snide and tends to speak exactly what's on their mind, deep down there is a person who really cares about her loved ones. [break][break]
Lottie is a relatively cool-headed individual whom usually acts as the voice of reason whenever possible. She isn't afraid to state whether something is a bad idea or not, though usually this is born out of concern for her friends. She will call you an idiot if you do something wrong, but is quick to try and correct your mistakes and cheer you on. It wouldn't be a stretch to describe her as prickly, but motherly. If you are someone she cares about, you can expect for her to have your back. [break][break]
Even to strangers, she isn't a horrid individual. While somewhat more passive-aggressive, she has a strong enough moral compass to try and help them out of trouble. She is however a shrewd individual, and if there is something that would benefit Nightmare; she will try to take advantage of the situation. She does draws the line when it comes to outright sadism or murder unless there truly is no other options. [break][break]
Regardless, one must be careful to not cross her or her adoptive family. She is a very protective individual and is the type to hold grudges. [break][break]

At first, she was kept around merely as a potential partner candidate for either potential new members; though fate has time and time again proved to meddle in her chances of being partnered with a tamer. While not exactly the strongest of fighters due to a lack of the many tools partner Digimon have (though she very much tries her best), she has however proven her worth to the group as a surprisingly skilled medic (not to mention adorable emotional support pet). As someone who was capable of putting up with the constant slew of injuries that Nightmare members often received from their line of work (or each other), she has earned at least her own spot in the rather shady group. While not one to be seen in the front lines of any Nightmare activity, she remains a valuable crutch that is willing to support her adoptive family by any means.

A rare instance of a Digimon being born originally in the human world, Lottie's Digi-Egg was found by Nightmare grunts and took into their hideout (mistaken for an ornamental egg that they could try to sell off later). Much to some of Nightmare's disappointment, this egg merely would hatch into a YukumiBotamon.
