Well it seems the other man was quite shocked into silence like he thought. He jumped right back into the conversation. Although he was much more helpful this time and appropriate for the audience he had. He was making a few good points too about the cards. Yeah some of them could be used for a tamers uses as well. He was also correct in stating the more cards you had the better.[break][break]
"He has some good points about the cards." Akio mentioned to Rei. "I would remember those tid bits if I were you."[break][break]
Akio watched as Rei pulled out her digivice from around her neck. It was the true mark she was a tamer. He watched her as she asked about the part of the digivice she would scan her cards into. Everything looked like she knew what she was talking about.[break][break]
"Yeah that's your card scanner. If you are in a battle you just run your card through there and its power will be transferred to your digimon. So it would be best to make a deck of sorts of the best cards you have to carry around in case of an emergency. That way you're not trying to rummage through all of your cards trying to find the one you want."
He thought he was done explaining it to Rei and that she was just getting overwhelmed by all the information. So he left her to think about it. It never in a million years would have crossed his mind that she would have tried it out here in the lobby of the tower.[break][break]
"No wai..." Akio tried to object but it was too late. The microphone had already appeared and Musimon already began singing. He could see that Rei was enjoying the music but he was not. This was not something he enjoyed he preferred something a little smoother or quieter. Wasn't really sure to what he objected to the music but he would just wait it out.

As soon as that microphone appeared in the digimon's hands, Hyde's own clamped to his ears. As the little bunny digimon started rapping, he was torn. Either smack the rabbit for rapping, or smack the buster for teaching her how to use cards. In fact, the only one he didn't want to smack was the little girl. Odd considering she swiped the card in the first place.
Instead, Hyde went for a third option. Bail. "Good luck with your new recruit," he called to the buster over the music, patting him on the back, "I'm off to get a drink" And covering his ears, the lanky man bid a fast retreat, getting away from the sounds of rap.

Akio Higashi Musimon continued to play the energetic j-pop-rap song. Rei did like it, but even she had to admit it was too loud for a public place and many people were already in shock from it. She covered her hands over the ears behind her cap. "MUSIMON! TOO LOUD!" she shouted. "TOO! LOUD!" "WHA?" Musimon chirped over the music that boomed from the stereo speakers of his body and ears. "NOT LOUD ENOUGH?! OKay if you say so--" Musimon either didn't hear, or didn't want to hear as he attempted to crank up the volume... ... but was soon stopped as Rei rushed forward and took the Shoutmon Mic out of Musimon's ear-hands. The music toned down immediately, and Musimon snapped out of the beat. "Come on, Rei! That was my jam!" he cheered, but still his voice held disappointment. Rei let go of the mic and turned to Akio. "I'm so sorry about that. Musimon is... passionate about music," she explained. She noticed that Nicholas was gone. She felt a little sad, worried she might have driven him off. Though for Musimon, he was thinking 'good riddance' to a potentially bad influence on Rei. Even so, the Busters Tower was not likely a concert hall, and probably a place Musimon shouldn't blast the music so loud in. At least, this instance.

Akio was relieved that Rei had caught on that people weren't enjoying the music as much as she was. She had gotten her partner to stop. He still didn't understand why she thought it was a good idea to swipe a card here in the first place. He thought that was something he didn't have to explain to her. However after that stunt he thought he should mention it. [break][break]
"Well its not a problem that he is passionate about it. However you might want to talk to him about when an appropriate time for a concert is." Akio explained politely. Having a passion is great but knowing when to show it off is also as important he thought. "You also need to think about when it is the most appropriate to scan your cards." [break][break]
"It's probably best if you take a look around before you use a card." Akio started explaining. "You don't want to accidently cause harm to another person or digimon that isn't your target. If you know you're in an area that there is only you and your opponent than you can swipe away."[break][break]
He hoped she was finding this information useful and not thinking he was talking down to her. She was such a young girl that anything he said could be taken the wrong way. Even if he just said it with the wrong inflection. Nothing he could do but wait and see what her response was.

Akio Higashi Rei had just swiped the card-- not used it as it was Musimon at fault for going all crazy with it. Still, she felt scolded at and shrunk back from the direction. Musimon, however, appeared less apologetic. "I-I'm sorry..." she said sheepishly, clinging the digivice tight to her chest in shame. "I won't do that again in a public place. Promise." However, Musimon was just frowning and glared at Akio. "Hey, this place could use more music anyway! No music-- No life, YO!" he cheered, making a funky sign with his hand-ears. "Yeah, but using the Mic like that I think was a bit over the top. You want to make music, not people's eardrums to bleed..." Rei sighed, but returned her gaze back to Akio. "Thank you for your advice. I'll be more careful before I try out cards for Musimon... still, I wish I knew how to play the actual card game. " She took out her collection of cards and peeked at them. "I have seen kids around my school play it, but I have yet to learn how to play myself. I know its different from how real digimon use them." She then turned to Musimon, who just appeared more chipper despite being told to shut up. "But I do got ideas of the cards that work good for Musimon. It's why I swiped the Shoutmon card. I didn't think that goofy red digimon's mic would work so well with Musimon." she said, "I guess certain cards mesh with certain digimon?"

Akio didn't really know how to play the trading card game either. He never bothered to learn it. He didn't see why, none of his friends played it and like Rei said using cards with his partner was probably a lot different than it would be to play the actual card game. She was right though some cards might mesh better with certain digimon better than others but he didn't think there was any card that wouldn't work with a digimon. Just ones that made better combos than other.[break][break]
"Well if you want to learn the official trading card game I would play with your class mates. They would probably know it better than me. I never really played it." Akio admitted to the young girl. He though she wouldn't think any less of him. "As far as certain cards working with certain digimon. Yeah there are cards that would combo better with your partner better than other cards."[break][break]
Akio was about to turn and leave. He wasn't sure what else he could tell this girl. A lot of this was practice. Its how he learned to be a tamer was just out on his own and training with his partner. He motioned to Dracomon to get up and get going. He started to turn when he remembered the newest addition to busters tower. There was a training room up on the 27th floor. Well there wasn't just one, but there were several training rooms. He could stay in a safe room away from the action and still communicate with her.[break][break]
"Say would you be interested in trying out some combos with your partner in a safe place? Somewhere less crowded?"

Akio HigashiRei was pretty sure her time was over and done with here. She knew she couldn't stay the whole time, but as she watched the other tamers about, she felt more at ease being among friendly tamers like them. As Akio was about to leave, she saw him turn around and address her about showing her how to properly use Modify cards. While Rei got a general idea, after her display of using Musimon's favorite microphone, she smiled at the handsome older man. "S-Sure, Akio-san. I'd be happy to learn more if you have the time," she said happily. Packing her cards back into her pockets, she ran over towards him near the elevators, where they could go to the training room. "Huh?" Musimon chirped, unsure what happened. As he saw the two walk together towards the elevators, his ears went up in alarm. "H-hey! Wait for me! You better not be getting any ideas with Rei-chan, or I'll show you a new definition to heavy metal, yo!" he warned Akio, weary of strangers poking around Rei. And so they went to the training room, where Rei could see where the busters trained with their digimon to grow stronger... (OOC: Leaving that description to you if you want)

Akio was pleased when she agreed to head to the training rooms with him. He thought he could get two birds with one stone with this one. He could train her how to be with her digital partner. And at the same time keep other safe. He didn't need her to cause another incident like the one that occurred in the lobby or worse because of her inexperience. But in the end all that matter was she was a competent tamer.[break][break]
Akio walked slowly over to the elevators. He was much taller than she was, rightfully so seeing how they compared in age. He led her over to the express elevators. These were nice because the skipped the first 20 floors and even some of the floors above that too. But he knew they stopped at floor 27. As he led her over to the elevators her partner started trying to chastise him for have the wrong ideas.[Break][break]
That was when Dracomon who had been silent this whole time decided he would speak up. "Akio would never do such a thing. He is a man of honor. He is taking time out of his own day to help your partner become stronger so you both can be safe in this world." Dracomon barked at Musimon. Akio had never seen Dracomon act like this. However it was not a normal occurrence for Akio to be talked down to like that. He was courteous and kind to others and they often responded in turn.[break][break]
"Dracomon that's enough." Akio said sternly to his partner. He didn't need them causing a scene at the elevator bay. Akio calmed down before speaking again in a more normal tone of voice. "Plus I am sure he was just being protective over his partner like you were just doing for me. I am sure he meant no harm by what he was saying. Plus who wouldn't protect her." Akio's sentence ended with a sense of fondness for the girl. She reminded him a bit of his own little sister when she was younger.[break][break]
The elevator finally came and they would all hope in. Once Akio knew everyone was in there he pulled out his digivice to have it scanned to activate the elevator. As it was scanned the buttons all buzzed to life. The began lighting up from the bottom up. Once they were all lit he hit the button for floor 27. "Hold onto something." Akio warned cause as soon as this elevator took off it was going to move quickly.[break][break]
The elevator rushed them up to the 27th floor in what felt like no time at all for how far up into the building they were now. When the elevator doors opened it opened onto a regular looking hall with many different doors. Above each of the door was a single red light. Down the hall straight in front of them there was three lights on. The rest of them were off. "Why don't you follow me, we will get you into room 4." Akio gestured as he began walking down the hallway to the right.[break][break]
It wasn't a far walk from the elevator bay. Once they made it to the hallway with the doors it was the second door on the right. "Here we are." Akio opened the door for Rei and Musimon. And would follow himself once the rest of the party made their was in. The room they had walked into felt like a supersized recording studio. The first part of the room they walked into was nicely furnished. On the wall to the left there was a big glass window and a heavy door. That led into the second part of the room. In this first part there was also a control board under the window with a microphone in the middle. The second part of the room looked very sterile. It was a solid white room, under the coat of paint one could tell that it was a very mechanical room. The walls, floor and ceiling were all made of metal. There were a few speakers in the ceiling that could be seen. Nothing else was very obvious in that room.[break][break]
"Alright here we are. This is training room four. There's nothing here that not in any of the other rooms. But I still like it the best. Any questions before we get started?

Akio Higashi Rei sighed as Dracomon talked back to Musimon, who only glared back at the dragon Digimon. Musimon always tried to talk tough for Rei's sake. It reminded her so much of her own brother when it fell upon him to take care of her. "I'm sorry for Musimon's behavior," she explained to Akio. "He is a sweet guy but as I said, he can be a little overprotective-- and loud," she ended with a glare at her partner. The yellow bunny rabbit flinched and pulled his ears over his mouth. "What? What did I do?" he squeaked, being a bit funny. Seeing Dracomon though, the little rabbit got curious. In an attempt to be playful, the rabbit hopped up and jumped onto Dracomon's back so he could ride on him, resting his head on Dracomon's head. As they got off the elevator, Rei followed Akio towards the 4th room, feeling a bit by the cleanliness of the room. It was an odd choice of a training area, then they arrived to the steral white room. It looked like something from the matrix or an alien film. Musimon cocked his head while he reclined on top of Dracomon. "Is this the part where the creepy doctor comes in?" he joked, further teasing Akio a little. "Musimon..." Rei grumbled, causing the rabbit to flinch again, but restrained a chuckle. When Akio asked about questions, Rei did realize something. "Well, if you want to train that's great... but I don't remember if I told you," Rei said hesitantly as she shuffled her feet a bit. "Musimon isn't super combative. Sure the cards help, and he has one attack meant to do damage... if not much..." As they talked, Musimon began to play 'Peek-a-boo' on Dracomon, using his big ears to cover his eyes, then open one at a time in a fun way to play with the dragon Digimon. The two Digimon would be more alike than they would admit, being both a bit playful. Rei glanced at them, then returned to Akio. "Musimon's talents are for support. His power allows him to heal and support allies. So... what kind of training would properly use that?" she asked, not sure what Akio's training regiment would include.

Dracomon just ignored Musimon when he jumped on his back at the elevator bays. He just tagged along with the little yellow rabbit riding him. He just carried him along the little digimon didn't weigh much so Dracomon didn't notice him much. While the two tamers were talking he was enjoying the game of peek-a-boo that Musimon had initiated. He was smiling and getting really into the game running around and hiding behind some of the furniture in the room they were in.[break][break]
"No need to wait for the doctor to get here. He's already present." Akio smiled creepily at Musimon obviously making fun of the little digimon's question. Akio even imitated that he was going to operate on Musimon. "As far the trainning goes I was just thinking you could get a feel of your cards here. Its a safe place to test them out and get the feel of how you and your partner mesh together when using a card. Even if he is going to be a support digimon, you both need to know how to work together to the best of your abilities and that's what I am offering here." [break][break]
"And the extra nice thing about these is I'll be able to stay out of the way in here and give you pointers. There is a mic and speaker system set up between the two rooms so we can communicate through these special thickness walls. The window and doors are reinforced too so any attacks that might be able to damage a normal one have no effect on these ones." Akio walked over to the door and pulled it open. He gestured for Rei and Musimon to head inside. "If you are ready to try out some more of your cards why don't you and Musimon head on in. Dracomon and I will be right here and can hear and see everything you do. If you get nervous or anything while you're in there remember that the two of us are right here. Do you have any questions?"

Akio Higashi The creepy glare in Akio's eyes made Musimon glare back at him-- for a moment the rabbit thought that the man was serious about disecting the Digimon. The two glared at eachother... till Rei stepped in and tugged Musimon by the ear. "Ow! Rei-chan..." "Don't start something you can't finish, Musimon..." Rei argued, knowing that Musimon was the first one to start the prank. For her, this was nothing new. He always was winding up in trouble and up to her to put him back in line. What an odd cycle they had between them. He explained the training room rather well-- and Musimon and Rei exchanged looks. "OKay..." Rei answered, understanding what was going to happen. She didn't like the idea of being alone here, but she wanted to trust Akio-san, and she knew it was something they could do. "I'll do my best Akio-san." As Dracomon and Akio left the room, they were in the single room alone. Though it was hard to consider what cards to use on 'empty targets' but it seemed like a good idea. Musimon gave a small hop in the air and flipped using his ears. "Yo! We got this, Rei! NO Musimon-- no life!" he cheered and got ready. Rei took a deep breath and took out what cards she had. She soon took out a Patamon card-- one she used before. "Here it goes..." she said as she took out her Digivice from around her neck. With the Digivice in hand via her string, she held it up above her and met the card to the reader. The digivice gave a small flash as it lit up iwth energy and read the data on the card. "Digimodify! Patamon's Boom Bubble-- activate!" Musimon felt a surge in his body almost as if his favorite music played. He took a deep breath and felt the energy flow to his mouth-- but instead, it moved also to the speakers of his body. They hummed to life with the attack. "BOOM BUBBLE!" he shouted, and released it with a sudden burst. BOOM! Musimon's speakers and mouth let out a loud bang and a burst of air went off like a bang, hitting the floor. The blast was small but considerate. It would be enough to knock a grown man to the floor if not a good punch. "Whoh..." Rei said softly, seeing why Akio told her to be careful with cards.

Akio was a little confused why Musimon thought he was serious. He though he had made it pretty obvious he was joking. Although Rei stepped in a calmed Musimon down and broke up the unintended conflict that had arised there. Oh well he moved on after it. He headed into the other room so Rei and Musimon could begin their practicing. "I am sure you will do great." Akio offered to her as he left the room.[break][break]
Akio and Dracomon were making their way to the control board to get the room set up for her to start testing her cards. He wasn't even looking through the glass between the rooms when he heard a loud noise coming from the room he just left. Both he and Dracomon immediately turned to see what happened. He couldn't see any damage to either Rei or Musimon. So that was good. He moved a little quicker to the control board.[break][break]
"Everyone okay? What just happened?" Akio wasn't sure what happened. He just wasn't ready. He hoped everything was okay. Just had to wait and see.

Akio Higashi Rei heard the voice over the intercom and turned to the window. Apparently the result of the Boom Bubble wasn't too visible-- after all it was a burst of air. He probably would have had to have gotten closer to see it. "Um-- everything is fine. I used a Boom Bubble." she explained and waved at him. "Guess you didn't see it?" Musimon was feeling giddy, feeling the cards that run through him sent a jolt of electricity like hearing his favorite electronica music that made him want to jump up the walls. It was like a drug almost to feel that flow of energy-- the kind of power only Rei could provide him. At this point-- the same music that Musimon had on before back in the commons of the Buster Tower got cranked up again on his speakers of his body-- more so for Rei and himself to hear. "Oh yeah! I am feeling it, yo!" he said. "Rei chan! Hit me another funky tune!" Rei didn't understand but she was happy to oblidge. Looking for another card, she found one-- an Elecmon card and that one seemed like a good one to give her Digimon. "Alright..." She brought the card up and swiped it through. "Elecmon activate." Electricity now actually buzzed over Musimon as it danced over his yellow limbs, making his fur stand on end. Now it was visible for Akio and Dracomon to see. Finally charged, he threw his arm-ears forward, and three spinning blades of lightning shot outward and crashed into the wall a distance away. The bolts of electricity shocked the wall, leaving a black scorch in its place. Rei gasped and dropped the card, not realizing how powerful the card was-- and likely from Musimon's high affinity for magical-oriented attacks. Lightning Knife was a good card for the little guy.

Akio pressed down the button so he could speak to Rei and Musimon again. "I am glad everyone's okay.
I just didn't see what happened. Glad it was just you using a card. Now you see why I recommended coming here to try them out." Akio got himself seated at the desk and was searching for the button to give Rei and Musimon some targets. Ah there it was. He found it after a couple of seconds.[break][break]
Akio was about to push the button once again to ask if Rei wanted some targets to practice against. That was when he saw her swipe another card. He was ready this time so it didn't take him by surprise this time. She is sure excited to test her cards out. He watched as Musimon launched the attack and Rei seemed in awe by the strength of the attack. He thought this was good she was learning.[break][break]
"Hey how about before the next attack I give you some targets to aim at. That way you're not just launching attacks into nothingness." Akio didn't even wait for a response. He just assumed the answer would be yes. He hit the button on the control panel. As he did so on the far end of the room three holes appeared. After a couple of seconds the training dummies appeared. Rising up through the holes. The openings then closed around them once they had fully risen up.[break][break]
"There you go have at it. And don't worry about damaging them, they're made of the same stuff as the room."

Akio Higashi Rei's lightning attack was a strange one that Musimon used, and it made her more aware of her cards. She was holding potentially lethal weapons thanks to Musimon's power. Even though she trusted Musimon whole-heartedly, it still was unsettling. Like how a gun felt heavier knowing how dangerous it was to hold. Something that Rei was ignorant to such a concept. Akio's voice made Rei feel more reassured and the training dummies rose from the ground. Things were looking a bit better for her as she looked at her cards. She didn't have many left to use, especially since she accidentally used one back up in the lobby. Not to mention many of her cards were not attacks. One thing she wanted to get in her search for better cards. There was one left she could try however. She held a card with a series of 'ricochetted' movements around the card called "Scatter Augment". "Oh well... might as try this last one," she said. Once more, she raised the card up and swiped it through the card reader of her Digivice. Musimon's body glowed with a humm of power, but nothing immediate happened. Clearly some sort of augmentation took place-- like the card suggested. But how? "You feel anything, Musimon?" she asked her partner. Musimon lifted and looked under his ears, but the hum from his speakers and body still surged. "NOt sure, but I feel great!" he cheered. Curious, he looked to the dummies and took a deep breath. The speakers soon vibrated louder-- as sound waves began to become visible around him. "MUSIC HOUR!!" he shouted. There was a sudden eruption of air and sound, causing sound waves to be visible as a rainbow of notes and colors. The blast instead was spread out as a cone, hitting all the targets at once. The targets swayed in the path of the 'breeze' and flow of the musical force. As the attack ended, Musimon made a happy boogie of his feet, satisfied with his extra strength attack. Rei looked on, surprised by how powerful the cards actually were when you took the time to study them.
