If there’s something that is the same both inside and out, it would have to be how perceptive she is when it comes to reading the intentions of others and their persona, she’s always been a good judge of character as she’s wary to letting people into her own heart. With that and the fact that she’s spent a lot of her free time either reading or playing that popular card game, two of her current hobbies she’s a bit on the intelligent side as well. The reason to why she is so cautious around others however is her history of being an orphan and seeing friends- perhaps those that she even considered being family being swept away left her feeling either envious or betrayed by the actions that wasn’t even their own choice. It is quite easy for her to continuously blame others that have hurt her in some way even if it’s not intentional or their fault like this.
[attr="class","loner_head"] PERSONALITY
Kyōko is a child that can be often characterized by her distinct peppiness, seeming to bring forth happiness from her brimming smile and always willing to cheer up the mood no matter what the occasion. At least that’s what an unassuming person would believe having not delved deeper into whom she really is. But underlining that excessive positivity is an amalgamation of depression caused by loneliness that has been shoved deep into her heart. Truthfully, she is a child that more than anything craves an long lasting attachment to a person to cling to and love like a member of a family, but having wanted that all her life without seeing success has left her to give up and attempt not to care about her desires, rather appeasing the whims of others with her antics. Lacking a name, they chose to call her "Kyōko" as the first part of her name "Kyō" related to the city that she was born in while the last part "Ko" was a femine suffix often at the end of names meaning child, in simplier terms she was the child of Kyoto City. Check-ups were later made, indicating that she had asthma along with a slowly deteriorating vitality, something that was likely forced onto her by the irresponsible acts of her unknown biological parents. Medical problems such as these painted an orphan as one that families would normally avoid adopting, as extreme as this comparison may seem it’s the same as going to the store and having to choose between a new or damaged product, while there’s still someone that may choose to adopt her the chances of it is slimmer than it would be if she was perfectly fine. Without having known the love of a family, the girl reached out to clutch tight the bonds of anyone closest to her and that was other children in the similar situation to her. But with them often disappearing within a monthly or sooner basis to live happily with new families of their own, she couldn’t help but gradually feel envious and anger to the others. This resulted in violent behaviour that later transferred her into another orphanage and another, clearly not helping the fact that she felt unwanted. Nonetheless, her experiences caused her to learn that lashing out wasn’t aiding the fact that she was lonely, utilizing a veil of cheerfulness to mask away her feelings of despair not only to others but for her own sake as well. Certainly an unhealthy decision, but it allowed her to feel a bit more positivity in her life and cheerfulness, even if those were emotions that she truly wasn’t feeling.[break][break]
Between her school life which was plagued by the popular interaction of card games between students and her life at the orphanage which she braved on a smile in order to not upset or worry others, there still was a void of emptiness that tinged at her heart, shaken at the supernatural event that occurred after school at the computer screen when in the midst of studying.

You’ve may have seen the incident in the news one day. Headlines reading a Baby Doe found in a car full of fumes almost choking to death, disgust at the thought of parents that chosen to abandoned their child and even choose to kill them, adoration at the men or women that saved the baby from the incident. But all choose to forget about it soon later, not caring about the fact that the child may or may not have medical problems after the incident, the fact that the child being parentless is going to subjected to being in an orphanage. All it would be was a simple story that someone has printed out in order to garner the brief attention of readers, only to be replaced by another of the wedding of those two famous people. But sadly for the child, problems don’t simply vanish like that.[break][break] Lacking a name, they chose to call her "Kyōko" as the first part of her name "Kyō" related to the city that she was born in while the last part "Ko" was a femine suffix often at the end of names meaning child, in simplier terms she was the child of Kyoto City.
