Renamon is a rock. A lazy rock, a pillar of calm to ground Soma in some state of stability. Every so often, she'll manage to talk her Tamer into staying home so she can just recuperate. Far be it from the Digimon to tell her what she can and can't do, mainly cause angry Soma is something no one wants to see. There's respect there though. To most, she would seem lackadaisical, not walking everywhere poised for a fight. Renamon always accompanies her Tamer out, but at a respectable distance. If she was in any real damage, she would call her.[break][break]
At home, she just lays about. She watches TV, takes up the whole couch, and just tries not to feed into her Partner's need for excitement. All in all, she prefers things to be simple, she thinks in simple terms. Worrying about every detail often distracts from the most ready solution. That's what Renamon is there for, to be a simple solution to the utterly complex problem of Koma's issues. Yet, no matter what, she is small comfort. She doesn't understand why her Tamer continues this way. But if all she can do is be small comfort for the time being, she will resign herself to that.

This giant fox thing just walked in through the library after hours. Soma had stayed behind to do some record keeping and as she was roaming the aisles to make sure no one was where they weren't supposed to be and just...there it was. Slightly taller than the woman, her scream echoed off walls to no effect, the thing just kept on reading.[break][break]
Was it one of those furry people she'd heard about? She shuddered at the thought, but then she started reprimanding the golden figure, furiously point to the door telling it to "get your degeneracy out of her library".[break][break]
"You seem a bit high strung." It spoke. The mouth moved too smoothly for it to be a mask or costume. She flipped the switch from shocked to amazed and started poking and prodding, asking about where it came from and what it was".[break][break]
Firstly, it set the record straight that it was a she. Soma hadn't listened to well when she poured over her life story, about how she was a farmer back home, but had to become some foot soldier in a skirmish with a neighboring village for farm land. She talked about how she followed a few of her combatants into this world and was ready to look for them. Soma just had one reply".[break][break]
