Lazarus is not without his more compelling features. He retains a charismatic, witty streak, which he holds in an affectionate and sarcastic way. It has historically endeared friends and aggravated rivals -- but nobody can argue with his ability to fire off one-liners and, effectively, 'get the last word in'. This is a fragment of a former, more talkative Lazarus residually bleeding through, though his wit is now mostly concerned with his own disillusionment.[break][break]
His aloof demeanor and witty disenchantment aside, though Lazarus will purport to be a subject of moral abandonment, he does, deep down, on some level, feel a kind of basic moral obligation. He will lend a hand to whoever needs it in their darkest hour, and will not suffer innocent individuals being the subject of unnecessary turmoil or abuse. Lazarus was born in the early 90s in Montana, and grew up as an aspiring musician with a penchant for all sorts -- anything from blues to hip-hop, to rock and jazz. From a young age, he was a multi-instrumentalist and something of a prodigy across piano,
guitar, and saxophone. His parents, two working-class people with their fingers to the bone for his childhood, managed to save up enough money to send Lazarus to Tokyo when he turned 15, for residency at a prestigious inner-city music school.[break][break]
It was when Lazarus first came to Tokyo that everything begun. Disillusioned and alienated from his Japanese classmates, and unable to find any friends within the school, he first came into contact with ████ ██████ and ███████ ██████████.
