Shimato SaigyoujiShibuya was as busy as ever. Had Rei not lived in Shibuya, it be unwise for her to be there alone. Luckily, two things kept her safe. 1, she had a cell phone to call for help-- and 2, was she had the company of an invaluable friend. Her Partner, Musimon. After school, Rei made her way back towards the residential district of Shibuya. Her family's loft was among the high-rises of the area, overlooking the main crossing. Normally it would be impossible to navigate with all the people and tourists around, but there were good areas to travel through if you knew where to look. After she had bought a few new cards, Rei had taken a different route from the card store that was in Shibuya. She had bought a few new packs, but had to limit what she bought. Saving money was always a pain. Then, she took one of the elevated platforms that led to a park that was located atop of one of the buildings. It was an out-of-the-way place, that was both a spacious garden with a view, but also connected to different bridges that led up to her home district. The only downside was the ambient noise of the traffic below-- -- but with Musimon, he was a living white noise machine and was able to block it out. Taking a moment, Rei sat on a nearby bench as she looked up at the passing clouds in the sky. She didn't want to rush home-- all that was there for her was chores, cooking and homework. In her mind, she wished her older brother would pitch in and help, but he had his own issues. Rei's mother was always hard at work and always came home late. It was those times in between where Rei felt at peace. "Come on, come on!" Musimon jeered, hopping up and down as they were alone in the park. "Open the packs, Rei. I wanna play the drum roll!" THe happy little Musimon was all excited, wanting to see Rei find good cards for them. Though Rei opened her packs-- a part of her wished to know how to play the ACTUAL card game. She seen kids play it in school during recess and she wanted to learn how to use them herself. Using them for Musimon was different, as it involved more about Musimon's talents and skills-- not about raw strategy on a game board. Little did Rei realize that someone could have followed her. Her usual trail often took her right past the Web Trooper's turf, and probably a good number of them

◄ It was a rather nice afternoon, all things considered. The sun was out, it wasn't too cloudy, and there was a cool breeze passing by every now and again. Besides the sounds of the hustle and bustle in the streets, Shibuya was fairly alright in terms of volume today.Shimato and Tumble were currently taking a walk through one of the rooftop parks in the neighborhood, enjoying the outside for a day. On paper, the two were supposed to be doing a quick patrol through the area close to Invicta. They were supposed to be making sure that there was nothing suspicious going on in Shibuya that could indicate that the other factions were searching for headquarters. That was what they had done for the first hour or two, but the pair slowly came to realize that next to no one even had any theories as to where the Web Troopers were based or came. Shortly after that epiphany, the Tamer and Digimon decided to take a walk through a relatively underpopulated park.
Whilst talking amongst themselves, the topic of conversation being about what movie to watch when they got home, the two heard someone talking. They raised an eyebrow at each other before turning their gazes to see a young girl and what could only be described as a small, yellow, headphone-wearing Digimon. Neither of them quite knew what to make of the strange pair, other than they seemed to just be enjoying a day in the park themselves.
"Hi there!" Tumble was the first to approach, considering his natural affinity to be friendly with children/younger people. "You guys having a good day?"
Shimato could only facepalm and chuckle for a moment. He was fairly certain his partner didn't know how shocking it could be to randomly be approaching by a dinosaur made out of toy blocks, even though the girl appeared to have a Digimon herself. Walking up shortly after Tumble did, the human poked the ToyAgumon's nose playfully. "I apologize that my friend here just introduced himself randomly. If you want us to scram, we will."
It took the Tamer a moment to realize that the girl was holding some freshly opened Digi-Modify packs. "You play that game? Or did you buy them to use on your friend in case you get in trouble?"

Shimato SaigyoujiThe sudden appearance of the strange toy-dinosaur looking creature indeed rattled Rei as she clung to Musimon tighter on instinct. Her breath hitched for a second as she looked at the creature, just almost tall as she was. Perhaps it was someone in a costume, promoting a toy store. "Um... hello?" she squeaked in a shy tone. However, Musimon lifted his ears, able to tell right away. "Rei! It's a Digimon," he told her, hopping out of her arms to stand in front of the guy. At first, Musimon was worried he was a wild digimon, meaning to fight-- but the words and demeanor of the Toyagumon soon put that fear aside. After a second to adjust, Musimon gave a wide smile and raised his ears higher. Rei slid off the bench and reached for her Digivice-- held by a string around her neck and hidden in her sweatshirt, kept close like a broach or luck charm. The hologram screen revealed itself, reading the data of it. "Toyagumon... Wow what an interesting Digimon," she said in awe, "A rookie, vaccine type Digimon. " It was then as she lowered her digivice, she saw another person walk up to her-- persuming by his demenaor to be the Toyagumon's partner. Though he came across Rei as rather intimidating with him being older and his rather 'cool' demeanor. However, the fact of him offering to leave made Rei more at ease. "Um-- no no, you're fine. Wow... Another Digimon Tamer... Are you from the Busters too?" she asked. Though Rei was new to the Busters herself, due to her not knowing of other Tamers and just stumbled upon the group, she was very ignorant of the other inner workings of being a Digimon Tamer. Let alone the knowledge of other factions. Had she mouthed off to the Nightmare group, the young girl would have ended up in deep trouble. "I'm Rei. Nice to meet you," Rei said and bowed to the stranger. "This is my friend, Musimon. " She then looked to the cards that the man was asking about. "Um, well kind of both. I did buy these for Musimon. I'm trying to get more but I'm limited on money. " she said shyly, shuffling the cards amateurishly. "But I want to play the card game but I don't know how to yet. Do you play?" she asked. Meanwhile, Musimon slowly walked around Toyagumon, curious about him. The musical bunny creature was very curious about how a toy was a Digimon. In truth, they were very much the same type and family group. Still, Musimon was tempted to poke him to see if his parts were removable... but knew that was very rude. "Wow... I never seen a Digimon like you before." he said.

◄ Shimato hummed lightly to himself as the young girl introduced herself and her partner. Rei and Musimon, huh...? Honestly, he was focusing for a moment at the fact that she was a member of the Shinjuku Busters. While the Tamer had nothing personally against the Busters, even if their leader came off like an ass sometimes, he'd still have to report there being a member of the faction in Trooper territory."It's very nice to meet you, Rei." Shimato briefly turned to give a friendly wave to her partner, "You too Musimon. My name is Shimato, and my partner here is Tumble." While he began to ponder what to say next, the pink-haired young man pulled out his Digivice from his jacket pocket and proceeded to scan Musimon. The D-Power was the same color scheme as Tumble, meaning the Digivice was red, yellow, blue and green all over. The device read that Digimon was a Rookie, Data type. He'd never seen one in person before, nor had he come across a Musimon Digi-Modify card.Pocketing the device, Shimato decided to sit on the ground in front of where Rei sat on the bench, his decent bit of height meaning that he was now at face level with the younger Tamer. "We're actually with the Web Troopers. I figure it's better to be honest with you on that, but we have no problem with anybody from any of the groups. So thre's no need to worry about us being mean because we aren't from the same side." Scratching the back of his head sheepishly, Shimato finally let his eyes fall on the cards in her hand again. "I know a little bit of how to play the game itself. I was in a trading card club back in high school actually."Tumble, in the meantime, was watching as Musimon walked around him in a slow, curious manner. When the rabbit-looking Digimon eventually spoke up, the ToyAgumon let out a chuckle. "Yeah, Puppet-type Digimon like me don't get seen all that often. There's not too many of us, so it's no surprise you've never seen someone like me." Approaching the fellow Rookie-level Digimon, Tumble gestured to Musimon before saying, "I've never seen a Digimon quite like you either, Musimon. Not many Digimon are as cool-looking as you at the Rookie stage."Shimato eventually reached into his other jacket pocket and retrieved the cards he always had on hand. His hands naturally began to shuffle them, an old habit he maintained since high school, before giving Rei a smile. "If you'd like, I can give you a little crash course. I'd be willing to give you a few pointers."

Shimato Saigyouji The older man's name was Shimato, to which Rei was patient with. When he pulled out his Digivice-- Rei was extremely interested. Most of the digivices she seen were all uniform in a single color, and the 'psychedelic' combination of colors on his made her open her mouth wide with a shout of surprise. "Ooooh... I never seen a Digivice of that color before. I didn't know we could get one like that?" she said, and looked modestly at her basic yellow model. Of course, it wasn't like she picked her's out. It just appeared a couple of hours after she and Musimon met. She never had a problem with it, but the older teen's digivice looked really cool compared to her's. However what was really of importance was the Web Troopers. She heard it vaguely about some of them, and that a few of the group were violent and gangsters. She took a step back, now timid. "Y-You're not one of the bad tamers, are you?" she asked... but that was unlikely the case and was quickly debunked with his further words. Besides, Musimon and Tumble were getting along-- so that concern might have been moot from the get-go. It was then that he offered to show Rei about the card game. Rei had learned the basics about using them with Musimon via her digivice-- but the cards were made in the real world, for an actual children's card game. Something that she wanted to learn how to actually play. Her face lit up at the offer. "R-Really? You don't mind?" she asked, and then bowed her head. "Thank you! I'd love to learn some pointers. Wow... you really are a nicer guy than that other person told me about." Meanwhile, Musimon and the Toyagumon were hitting it off as both Digimon complimented each other at being unique. Musimon was extatic and hopped up and down. "Yep! ONe of a kind, yo! The only way to roll!" he rhymed badly, and raised an ear-hand to shake the toyagumon's little arm. "Nice to meet ya, buddy --" POP!! Musimon's hand had been a little more forceful than intent and soon realized he was holding the block-arm of Toyagumon-- detached from the digimon's arm. THe little digimon looked at it, seeing it seperated... "GHAAA!" Musimon shrieked, alarmed he pulled his new friend's arm off. "I swear that was an accident!" Hearing the confusion, Rei turned to Musimon -- and saw that Musimon disarmed the other Digimon. "MUSIMON!" she shrieked, afraid he hurt the Toyagumon. "I'm so sorry!" she apologized to Shimato, bowing her head to him.

◄ Shimato was actually kind of looking forward to showing Rei how to play a little bit of Digi-Modify. He hadn't actually indulged in competing against other people at almost any card game in some time, but he did genuinely enjoy playing trading card games. Even though the other members of his trading card club in high school thought he was world tournament worthy, the pink-haired Tamer believed himself to only be a novice at most card games, despite his love of them.Just as he was starting to set out a few cards on the ground in front of him, however, Shimato heard Rei and Musimon begin to panic about something. Looking up from his cards, the young man saw the young girl bowing to him in apology over something. Raising a curious eyebrow at the Buster, he turned his attention to Musimon and Tumble, the former waving around the ToyAgumon's arm in panic. A snort of laughter escaped from Shimato for a moment before he waved off Rei's apology. "It's no worry, Rei. That happens all the time, actually."Tumble, on the other hand, was dying laughing on the ground. "I-I'm so s-sorry for laughing! But y-your faces were PRICELESS!" The ToyAgumon continued to flail about hysterically on the ground, his laughter only growing in volume after he finished his sentence."Tumble has a good sense of humor about stuff like this. It helps that losing his limbs doesn't hurt him in the slightest." Shimato gave Rei and Musimon a friendly smile, before continuing to set up cards on the ground. "Believe me, he falls apart all the time. He falls to pieces when he gets spooked, and he sometimes leaves his hand or arm behind when he gets tired and doesn't feel/realize it. You try explaining to your neighbors why there's an arm made of toy blocks stuck on your doorknob."Rei Oto

Shimato Saigyouji Rei's panic soon faded away as she heard Shimato explain that Toyagumon's composition was completely malleable. He could go to pieces and build himself back without issue. That was a unique trait for a Digimon. She looked over to Musimon and Toyagumon, curious about the interaction. Musimon then let go of the arm-- and bit by bit, the pieces rolled over the ground, levitated back to place where his arm was. "Ooooh..." Musimon hummed, impressed by the talent he had. "Wow... I had no idea Digimon could do such things," Rei said, her heart still beating a bit hard. Her hand had been clenched on her digivice so hard she feared it would crack. Slowly, she turned back to Shimato, and saw as he laid out his cards on the park bench for them to work on. Calmed down, she joined him on the bench. "So... how do you play? I don't even think I have enough cards to really play but I'd like to learn. Lots of kids play it at school, so I'd like to try and play with them sometime." Rei took out her own cards slowly. She didn't have too many 'excellent' cards, mostly cause they were to mesh with Musimon. Rei's cards. SC03 - NEGATION MAGIC A Taps into a dark magic, creating an arcane field around one target Tamer or Digimon. Any damage that is tiny or lower will be negated on contact with this field for 3 turns until the spell wears off.
SC20 - RAY OF LIGHT Allows a Digimon to summon forth a blinding ray of sunshine over one target, inflicting tiny Light damage.
BS110 - FRAMERATE JUMP The Digimon's speed is massively boosted for three turns. Their movements become erratic and difficult to follow, and they begin to leave afterimages. Half the Digimon's Intellect is added o their Dexterity for the duration.
BS027 - CLEAR MIND Cures the Digimon of Berserk. The effects are as much numbing as they are calming, reducing Strength by 5 for 2 turns.
BS042 - RESILIENCE Gives the Digimon immunity to incoming physical status effects. Lasts for one turn.
BS060 - POISON IVY Augments the Digimon's claws/talons into extendable vines, able to reach up to 25ft forward. While both useful for reaching distant objects, they are just as effective as whips. Inflicts low Wood damage and first hit has a low chance to Root for one turn. Fades away after 3 turns.
BS125 - ENTRENCH Half Dexterity, Intellect, and Strength. Double Vitality, Defense, and Essence. Lasts two turns.
BS062 - ROCK AND ROLLER Summons Shoutmon's mic for Digimon use for Digimon/human use. Inflicts low metal damage, but it can be also screamed into one time to inflict tiny Wind damage in a cone of about 30ft. (Humans require at least 5 Athletics)
BS055 - VEE PUNCH Veemon's signature attack. The user winds up their arm at a high velocity before hurling a punch. Deals low Earth damage and knocks back targets up to 20ft.
BS076 - SCATTER AUGMENT Modifies the Digimon next ranged attack to damage all foes in a cone radius. (Minimum 5ft cone, increases by 5ft for each damage category above Tiny)
MT017 - REVERSE PLOY Reverses all current stat changes from cards or ability/passive effects from combatants (I.E a buff becomes a debuff etc.) for 3 turns.
BS037 - WILL O' WISP Summons forth a tiny ghost that emits a dim blue light. Generally useful for seeing in darker areas. The ghost fades away after 5 turns, and cannot attack or be damaged.
BS050 - BOOM BUBBLE Patamon's signature attack. The user inhales a large amount of air before launching a concussive blast, dealing low Wind damage and pushing back a foe up to 20ft.
BS054 - LIGHTNING KNIFE Elecmon's signature attack. The user sends out multiple blades of electricity as projectiles to up to three targets, dealing low Thunder damage.
She had a few modest cards. Some rookie digimon cards like Patamon, Palmon, Elecmon and Veemon along iwth others. However, she did have some good cards valued in the tamer's line of work. A scatter augment, a Framerate jump--- and the card that probably would surprise Shimato the most is the "Reverse Ploy" a card with the illustration of a rookie digimon having trumped over an ogremon in a comedic means. It was extremely rare, given to her by a trade with the leader of the Busters-- but she was not sure of its true value yet, as she never used it in the game or on Musimon. Meanwhile as the two tamers talked, Musimon looked at Toyagumon. Slowly a twinkle came in the Musimon's eye. What was this twisted little bunny rabbit gonna do? (OOC: Prelude to Musimon reshaping your digimon a little )
