A genius when it comes to languages: she is a natural polyglot. She also has a knack for deciphering coded language. Louise is forgiving, or rather, she doesn't tend to remember grudges and often relegates them to the realm of pettiness. She's practical and to the point, open-minded and hands out second chances like candy.[break][break]
However, she's also very blunt. She states her mind without second consideration (or after the fact). Although she's down-to-earth and humble, she can come off as arrogant for downplaying all her achievements. In truth, she doesn't think of herself as anything special, and holds the same expectations for others as she has for herself; then grows frustrated when people disappoint those expectations.[break][break]
She's clumsy with feelings, and can be downright inconsiderate, but has her heart in the right place. As down-to-earth as she is, she still has a dream. Chasing after it has often disappointed her, but if not dreams, what else is there to chase?

You're probably curious about my past. How I was born, and raised, and what I liked, and girly stuff like that. Sorry, I'm not about all that small talk. It's pointless.[break]
 Has anyone ever called you a genius? It's the loneliest compliment you can get. From the day you speak your first few words, people fawn over you and expect great things. Expectations pile up, and they'll talk about you like you're going to cure cancer and save the world. Like a child builds block towers, adults construct towers of hopes and dreams.[break]
 Well, I'm sorry. I'm no genius. I speak a few languages, sure. It was easy. And if I put my mind to it, sure, I can become a jack-of-all-trades. But I've never really excelled. Not by thinking, anyway. What's a genius? A sad loner who, stamped with the label of genius, is expected to shoulder an immense future.[break]
 And then when you get older, the things you do start to become less brilliant. Less genius. You start trending to average. That's not genius, though, that's just being a little bit smarter when you're young.[break]
 No, if I had to name a talent, it's swimming. Swimming doesn't require thought. You just do. It's the most liberating feeling in the world. When I'm in the water, I don't have to speak in tongues, or frown thoughtfully and then drawl out some nonsense that is clear as day, but somehow not.[break]
 You just do. It's an absolute feeling of freedom. I happen to just be a little good at that freedom. Made it to third place in the nationals. Through hard work? I don't know. I just happened to be a little better than the competition that day. Nothing more, nothing less.[break]
 That freedom's won me the freedom to go to Japan. Overseas studies, I called it. It'll help me learn Japanese, I insisted; a daughter who can speak English, German, French and whatnot is more of a genius if she can also speak Asian languages, right? But I can be square with you. After all, we won't meet again after this, ever.[break]
 I want to go to Japan because I love anime. There, I've said it. I want to be a neet. I want to be a hikikomori. Maybe I'll even meet one? Maybe I'll meet... the one?
