Like most Web Troopers, Ziann is the curious sort. He’s fascinated by all things Digimon and joined the Web Troopers so he could learn everything about them that he could. But his curiosity goes beyond just Digimon. He often gets himself into trouble by biting off more than he can chew. Overall, though, he’s a pretty friendly sort of guy. He’s the kind of guy that holds the door open for people, washes his hand after using the bathroom, and smiles as he passes people on the street.

Ziann’s not without his share of vices, though. For one, he’s a pretty heavy smoker, going through a pack or two a day. This leads to a pretty significant cough that he often gets stuck in. He’s also got a bit of a cruel streak when it comes to battle as he doesn’t back down nor give mercy to his opponents. For a friendly sort of person, he can be pretty mean when he switches to “battle mode”. His battle mode is characterized by his rolling up his sleeves, clenching his right fist, and posing with his digivice in his left hand.

While out in the yard during rec time, he saw the Koala like Phascomon sleeping in a tree. Ever the curious one, Ziann poked it with a stick. Waking up, and revealing its horns, wings, claws, and tail, Phascomon revealed itself to be like nothing the boy had ever seen. He was instantly drawn to it, and though it wanted nothing to do with Ziann at first, when the boy got out of detention he kept running into Phascomon. He’d find it sleeping in a tree at school, or in the park he was walking through, or just about anywhere really. It wasn’t long before the boy woke up to a digivice appearing on his desk with a compass pointing towards Phascomon. His Partner.

As curious as he was about Digimon, he was bound to run into the Web Troopers eventually, especially with a Partner Digimon of his own. They found him after a few years and recruited him into their intelligence seeking ways. He felt at home at Invicta and ever since has strived to do all he can for the organization he now works for.
