"I guess I'll lead with, uhh," Tetsuyo hid his face behind his cards momentarily before making his decision, "old faithful! Tentomon!" The Digimon below nearly tripped over itself, thinking it had been called to attention, but quickly remembered that there was a trading card with its likeness. With a sigh it tugged on its Tamer's pant leg.
"Could you be a little less enthusiastic? Please? It's really off-putting and--"
"Nonsense, if anybody had a problem with the way I act they would have said something by now!"
"A lot of people have, actually... You just won't listen..."
"Heheheh..." The tamer pat his partner on the top of its head before scooting his chair forward and continuing to let the battle unfold. He'd have to play a support card or else he'd be toast here, "And for my next trick, I'll play Brain Booster!"
OOC: Sorry, can't really play to any sort of cards I actually have seeing as none of them are based on any Digimon in particular, hahaha. We can just assume our cards' effects play similarly to how they're used when scanned though.

It wouldn't be long before the game was truly underway. Evolving the digimon didn't take long provided the right cards were at hand, and with a deck of only 30 cards and a system that required 10 cards on hand at all times, it was usually a fairly swift thing.
His current deck was an Agumon deck. It was quite synergized, so provided they didn't go for the usual format of mixing up both decks before picking and making new ones, he would be having an easy time getting what he wanted on the online zone.
Tetsuyo wasn't trying particularly hard to hide his digimon, openly speaking to the Tentomon underneath the table.
"My partner uses Tentomon as his lead digimon as well." He commented blandly, growing bored with simply being a silent observer.
"His deck is mostly made of the cards he found in a shoe box in my closet." He continued. Mostly duds or cards that didn't help make a cohesive deck for him.
KoKabuterimon was a bigger fan of the Digi-Modify Cardgame than Toshiro was, though he was too dumb to really make a deck worth crap. The beetle had pretty much just slapped anything insect looking into his deck and declared it the best deck ever made.
Toshiro smiled a bit at the memory... of trashing the supposed best deck ever a few minutes later, that is.

Tetsuyo Atsu Toshiro Emiya (OOC: I'm sorry if I assumed wrong. I can just wing a random game. I didn't play the D-arc cards well, but I played and learned Hyper Coliseum. Anyway, im just going what i know with the cards, but if cool, I hope to keep the card match up. Digivolving is fine with cards you don't have either but ill keep the card attributes as they are here. Just tell me how you want to write it up) From under the table Musimon just frowned as Tentomon whispered-argued with his tamer. The two made a funny match up as Musimon snickered. But back up top, Rei felt foolish, her face red as if she made some grand mistake. She looked at both older boys and took a deep breath. It seemed her opponent Tetsuyo, made a strong move with an upgrade card. However, Rei didn't have such a card. She kept the one she had face down, saving it for later though. Though her hand contained other cards she could play, she didn't know if now was the best time. So for now, all she had was her little Patamon-- with the skill to use Boom Bubble via her opponent's opposite card. "I pass for now," she explained, and waited for him to finish powering up. At worst, she could lose one round, but recover on the next. Musimon just snickered, feeling an air of confidence from the table. "Rei-chan is gonna beat your guy, you know," Musimon boasted, "She is a lot smarter than she think she is. Yep-yep-yo."
