Akio Higashi It was a sunny, noisy day as traffic flowed around Shibuya the same as it always had. Though it was a crowded, busy city, it was also a great way for Obito to hide his plan in plain sight. Obito made his way across the grand crossing and traveled along the street towards the office district of Shibuya. Even though he was alone, he could sense Panthermon following him from a distance. In reality, Panthermon was moving on the opposite end of the street. The jungle cat Digimon was cloaked-- invisible as he walked on the construction awning that covered the sidewalk. All the while, the cat kept an eye on Obito towards their destination. It took him a bit of time, but he finally arrived. Obito stood at the entrance of a construction site. The framework of a large skyscraper was there, supposedly new residential apartments meant for the office area to allow closer access to work. However, the construction company had not been on site of late so it made a perfect place for what Obito had planned. Ever since the encounter with Greymon and his time meeting the Busters, Obito wanted to take his role as a Digimon Tamer seriously. it meant only one thing-- training. While true, Digimon got stronger merely by downloading data, Obito didn't buy that as the only way. Both Panthermon and himself needed to train themselves in one way or another, and that was what today was for. Obito had been here before, seen the place and found a perfect spot to practice combat. As Obito entered the graveled and dusty ground of the construction site, Panthermon appeared in a shimmer beside him, taking his full form by Obito's feet. The cat looked up at the building, tilting his head at the overly tall structure. "You sure this is a good idea?" Panthermon asked, "Wouldn't people notice a fight break out there?" "I doubt it," Obito said as he crossed his arms, confident in his choice. "With all the noise around, I doubt no one would notice the sounds from your attacks or anything like that. Besides, the building is pretty big. We can train somewhere secluded within the floor and probably still not have to worry. " Panthermon gave a soft growl and shook his head. "I guess so. Still, lets not get too attached to this place. I know how hard you worked to set it up," the cat said-- then vanished again in a shimmer of shadow. Though unseen by Obito, he knew where the cat went-- scaling the building towards the floor they went to. Obito then followed suit, making his way for the stairway that was inside and made his way up to the 7th floor. As Obito made his way up, he soon took out his cellphone. He had put Akio's number in and soon sent him a text message. "Akio. Use the stairs to meet us on the 7th floor. We will be waiting." Obito's Cards OBITO'S DECK
SC04 - SUPER OPTIMIZER
Raises all statistics of one target Tamer or Digimon by 1 for a duration of 3 turns.
JF13 - LAST RESORT
A card that can only be used if the tamer has no other card swipes remaining. Their partner Digimon gains +10 to all stats for 2 turns.
BS044 - TRAINING MANUAL
Sets up training guidelines to help maximize the efficiency of training sessions. When used, staff will set up challenges for the user to attempt to follow. At the end of the thread, if all these objectives have been fulfilled, extra data rewarded. Can only be used in combat.
BS063 - CAT CLAWS
Summons a pair of Gatomon's copied SaberLeomon claws for Digimon use. This set of easy-to-use lightweight claws boosts the user’s Dexterity by 5 Points while worn. Inflicts low Light element damage. Fades away after 3 turns.
JF02 - PROWL
Allows a Digimon in appropriate darkness to essentially dematerialise, and reappear somewhere in the immediate area, provided it is also appropriately dark. Does not have to be used at nighttime or indoors -- shadow will also work. Can be used in combat.
BS129 - BRAVE SHIELD
The user equips WarGreymon's Brave Shield. Nullifies all fire damage aimed at it, but must be aimed and used with at least two hands. If placed on the user's back, it will nullify all fire damage aimed at their back. Lasts three turns. Digimon and humans. Humans must have 15 Athletics to use.
BS101 - HOLY RING
The Digimon gains a Holy Ring, commonly seen on many angelic or holy Digimon. The user gains a nullification to Light attacks and immunity to Curse status effects, their base affinity becoming Light. Lasts 5 turns.
JF08 - BLACKGATOMON SUMMON
Can only be used by Rank 2 Tamer or above. Summons a BlackGatomon that knows Black Lightning Paw (low Dark damage) and Black Lightning Howl (low chance of inflicting Stun for 2 turns, can be used once per summon) for 3 turns.
BS125 - ENTRENCH
Half Dexterity, Intellect, and Strength. Double Vitality, Defense, and Essence. Lasts two turns.
BS122 - CELESTIAL ARROW
Angewomon's signature attack. Launch a spear of moderate Light damage at an enemy. Inflicts Virus-attribute Digimon with Fear for three turns if it connects.
BS022 - INSPIRATION
Cures the Digimon of Fear. Residual effects will lead the Digimon to having all stats reduced by 2 for 1 turn.
BS084 - GHOST NETWORK
A Digimon for a brief time becomes intangible, able to move through walls and terrain. While they cannot attack, they also cannot be attacked either. Lasts for 2 turns.
BS015 - SPEED DRIVER
Raises the user's Dexterity by 10 points for 2 turns.
JF14 - NECRO ECLIPSE
AncientSphinxmon's signature attack. The user lets out a roar with the power of death itself. Inflicts moderate Dark damage in a cone, with a tiny chance to instantly kill NPC Digimon.
JF10 - ATTACK FROM THE SHADOWS
Empowers a target Digimon with dark energies. Their next three attacks (be it ability or basic) will ignore any resistances or nullifications to the dark affinity.

A sparring match that could be interesting. Akio thought to himself as he made his way to the predetermined location with Obito. He wasn't walking with Dracomon, the little dragon had already started making his way there. He was going to have to take more time to get there without being seen. Unlike Panthermon he had no natural abilities that would keep him unseen by the average eye. He figured Dracomon would be there by now, or so he hoped.[break][break]
Akio was enjoying the stroll to the meet up spot. It was quite a nice day out. The sun was out and shining on their lovely city of Tokyo. As such he was strolling down the road and was in no hurry to get there. He thought he had some time to get there still. He was about half way there and decided to check his watch. He noticed that there was only a few minutes left until he was supposed to meet Obito.[break][break]
Guess it was time to pick up the pace. He picked up his speed to a faster walk. He rounded a few corners to come across a construction site. He looked at it puzzling for a second. That was when his phone went off. He pulled it out of his pocked and glanced down at it. It was from Obito. What was he asking. Seventh floor huh. Interestineg. [break][break]
Akio started to look around for his partner. When he didn't notice him outside the construction lines he decided he would head in. Once he made it behind the lines, sure enough he found his partner waiting for him there.[break]
"Hey Dracomon, over here. We are heading up to the seventh floor."[break][break]
"Alrighty." Dracomon chirped up and pranced on over to Akio.[break][break]
Akio and Dracomon then made there way up the building. They finally made there way to the seventh floor. When they made it over the lip of the seventh floor they could see them both standing there. [break][break]
"Hey there Obito."

Akio Higashi The stairs crisscrossed up for Akio and soon the seventh' floor was visible via a crude sign marked on the wall near a door. As they would open it, they could see the bare-bones structure of the floor they were on. The floor structure was unwalled and showed as some steel beams separated 10 or 15 meters apart, The floor concrete and the ceiling roughly 9 feet tall. The wide area and the unconstructed walls gave a large space for moving or running around-- while the pillars offered a bit of cover as well. The furthest walls were plainly open with no glass windows, allowing the air to move through the dull atmosphere. Construction equiptment, bags of sand and cement mixture were placed around, clearly having been left till construction could continue. Obito and Panthermon were standing near the center of the space, with Obito pushing aside some sandbags and other objects to build something when Akio called out to him. Hearing them approach, Obito stood up and greeted them with a wave. "Hey, Akio-san," Obito called out, calling him superior for his rank in the Busters. "Thanks for coming." Panthermon sat patiently as he saw Dracomon, his tail swishing back and forth while the dragon approached. "Hello, Dracomon," he said calmly like a mature cat to a child. "So, what do you think?" Obito said and raised his hands at the abandoned construction area. While he appeared enthusiastic to it-- it clearly was a dump. But that was the beauty of it. If they were to train and battle to better themselves, the collateral damage would hardly be given a worry due to things being torn down anyway. It was actually quite clever to do it there. "With this place, we can train without worry of causing excess damage-- well as long as we don't bring down the building," Obito said, and turned to the open space in front of him. "Plus with all the construction from other buildings and the traffic, no one would probably even hear us." "As long as we don't get carried away, Obito.. but I must admit, its a good plan," Panthermon agreed. Obito smiled and adjusted his glasses. "Oh-- and this is my favorite part," he said and pointed to what he had been working on. In the center of the room for their training, Obito had stacked up a series of sandbags, shovels, and sticks to make ugly target dummies. One was bigger, and the other half the size. For a finishing touch, Obito walked over and slapped on something he had drawn earlier that morning--- cartoonish faces of DAICHI KUMO with his glasses and razor-teeth in a comedic frown to make him more monsterous. Akio would remember him as the guy in the tournament and the one who attacked Obito. The other face was the digimon partner he had-- the Dracmon, whom he slapped on to the smaller dummy. "Fitting, don't you think?" Obito asked.

Akio and Dracomon made there way up the labyrinth like set of stairs and unfinished floors. It was a good thing Obito had left signs for the two of them. Figuring out which stair actually continued up for more than a floor and where to cross would have taken Akio forever to figure out on his own. There was even a time when he had to head back down two floors to make it all the way up. No wonder this construction project had gotten abandon he thought. This building would have been impossible to navigate.[break][break]
When they finally did make it to the seventh floor Obito greeted them warmly. He looked excited to see the two of them and glad they came. Akio thought it was odd that Obito was surprised they would come. However still Panthermon did not have the same response. He didn't even acknowledge Akio just his partner, Dracomon.[break][break]
"It's no problem I was happy to join you." Akio replied with a smile. "After that attack we could all use some training and should want to improve ourselves. We can't have an attack like that occur in the city for so long. It made the news."[break][break]
Dracomon didn't have the same attitude as Panthermon. He was a more upbeat digimon. Or at least it seemed that way to Akio. For all he knew though in private with Obito Panthermon was the life of the party. "Hey there friend." Dracomon replied kindly to the panther digimon. "Well I guess maybe I shouldn't be calling you friend today, since we're not on the same side and all."[break][break]
Obito then began to show Akio the place he had found. The open spacing was quite nice everyone knew a digital battle took a lot of space. However there was some nice natural cover built into the landscape. There was even more in their immediate vicinity as it look like Obito had gone to town preparing this as a training grounds for the both of them.[break][break]
"I think you have done a very nice job of finding an out of the way location for us to battle in. However I do have a question for you, how did you find this place and are we sure that no more construction is being done on it.?" Akio wanted to be certain. He didn't want them damaging a structure that was scheduled to be an office building soon or something like that. "And yes I do like all the little touches you have added to it."
Even if he didn't understand the face too much.[break][break]
" Well how about before we start we do some trading. I've gotten a few packs recently and didn't need all the cards. Maybe there are some that you have felt the same way about?" Akio asks. He was always looking for new and better cards to collect.

Akio Higashi Panthermon tilted his head at Dracomon, confused by his answer. "Why would you say that?" the panther asked the Dragon. "We are allies, after all. " It was clear that Panthermon saw Dracomon as a friendly, even if his mannerism was a bit more stricter than most rookie digimon would be. Panthermon was more similar to a Renamon's in their mystical origins and their behavior. The mention of the greymon attack was only one reason why Obito wanted to do it. he had to get stronger and he had to do better... this seemed like the best way possible. He nodded at Akio's comment and returned his focus to the surroundings. When Akio asked about the location, Obito smiled. "This place is still in the process of demolition. The crew went on strike and are negotiating terms so it seemed like an appropriate time. Any damage we do here might actually help their job. I doubt they would mind," Obito explained, looking over the shambeled floor. As they settled in, Akio offered for them to trade cards. Obito nodded at that, and drew out the cards he kept with him on hand. He also reached for his backpack near the ground, removing a card binder he kept. "Sure, I got plenty. Actually part of our training today is involving building the right combos for our Digimon," he explained and made a makeshift table for them using a few pails and a piece of plywood. Interested as well, Panthermon strolled over and urged Dracomon to look as well, as the tamers discussed their card combos. "Okay," Obito began, "We know that our Digimon's use of cards are only temporary boosts, or differ depending on our Digimon's abilities. Panthermon and I have been working on a new ability that generates more energy from each card personally, but that aside..." Obito explained a bit in detail, flicking a card between his fingers as a habit. "Our Digimon respond differently to different cards, making them okay to better. Anyway, what cards we should have are ones that will exponentially better our Digimon. Agreed?" Obito showed Akio his common speed boost-- the Speed Driver and Gatomon Cat Claws. They were the same that AKio seen Obito use all the time, increasing the power of Panthermon's physical attacks but exponentially raising his speed significantly. As a speed-type Digimon, Panthermon worked best when he moved faster than his opponent. "You see?" Obito explained, "Those cards work to Panthermon's strength." "Well we are sparring today are we not?" Dracomon responded puzzled. "I know in the grand scheme of things we will always be allies. But I thought today we were having a friendly little battle?" Dracomon knew that they would always be on the same side. However like he said he thought today they were going to have a friendly spar.[break][break]
Akio was glad to hear that this building was scheduled to be taken down and instead its going to be taken down. So yeah if they did cause any damage it would only be helping their jobs. However this was an interesting way to demo a building. Normally they would just do a controlled explosion of a building. Maybe they wanted to strip it to the bones so they could renovate the place. But it sounded like Obito had done his due diligence on their new sparing place.[break][break]
"Well it looks like you have done your homework on this after all thats good." Akio was glad that he was so thorough. "So can you explain that drawing to me I don't really understand it."
Akio listened as Obito explained the plan for today. Guess he and Dracomon had the wrong idea. He watched and listened as he showed him the cards that would work well as combos for Panthermon. Akio agreed that they needed good combos of cards for their digimon. However he hadn't been the luckiest with his packs. He hasn't gotten a lot of cards that combo'd well together. Not for a lack of trying. However he was hoping that if Obito accepted his trade offer he could get some more.
"Yeah I understand what you are going for there. However I don't think I have been lucky enough to get enough cards that combo together like that." Akio responded to Obito when he said how those all added to Panthermon's strengths. "So the brings me back to my question from earlier do you want to trade some cards so we can optimize our combos?"

Akio Higashi Panthermon got what Dracomon was getting at. The cat gave a soft growl as he shuffled his paws. "Well yes, we are sparring, but doesn't mean it has to be spiteful. Just don't get carried away and we should be fine," Panthermon said as he lisented to their tamers talk. It was clear that Obito was really getting excited by all of this, and even more so now that Akio was there to do it with. Obito was proud of his test dummies-- but was put off by the fact that Akio didn't recognize the face. He rolled his eyes and pointed at them. "Hello? Remember Daichi? The guy in the tournament I told you who attacked me in public and almost killed me?" he pointed again and poked the guy in the glasses covered eye. "Come on. It's not that different." Panthermon just gave a soft chuckle and swished his tail. "I think its a perfect likeness," he said--through a hint of sarcasm could be heard in his voice at the fact Obito made him appear more monstrous in design. Returning back to the table he made, Obito understood how the cards could not always be good. At times, Obito's cards were commons, but rarity never always meant the best in combos. Sometimes the weakest cards could have fundamentally excellent responses with the right combo. "I got plenty of cards to trade with. I plan to get some more eventually, but I am trying to focus more on developing Panthermon's more innate abilities. Anyway," he said and flipped open his pages of his card binder. "Yeah, let's see what we can trade, and build some combos before we do any sparring." It was then he revealed his cards. He had a few he wasn't in paticuar about saving. Basically ones that didn't give any real benefit for Panthermon to use at this time. He had a BS125 - ENTRENCH , BS022 - INSPIRATION, BS038 - BOULDER -- which sucked, BS121 - HORN BUSTER -- 2 of them-- BS084 - GHOST NETWORK ... Many, many more were among those cards. Clearly, Obito had been stockpiling a great deal of cards to help with his efforts of being a tamer. "All of these cards are my spares. The cards I actually use are limited, but are all useful and play to Panthermon's strength. " he explained. It was then he found a combo he could imagine both of them using. "Oh-oh! Look at this!" he said with excitement and pointed to the spare ENTRENCH card he had, and one called META CACOON. "This combo is excellent when we can finally get our digimon to Digivolve. This cacoon stuns our digimon, but coats them in enhanced data. If we can keep them in there for a set time, when they digivolve, they become far stronger than before. But to make up for that side effect-- ENTRENCH will fortify our Digimon for the time they are inside. It's awesome!" Obito clearly had a keen eye for these things. It was easy for him to get wrapped up in his own mind's chain-reaction of ideas. Akio might have to get Obito back on track a few times. Still, it was clear that Obito had a knack for the card combos for each Digimon-- especially now that Akio saw his already common Cat claw + speed combo. "Anyway, what cards are you looking to trade?" he asked.

He thought he was being witty and funny but Panthermon didn't take it at all like that. He just thought it was relevant and funny. But he guessed that Panthermon didn't have the same sense of humor the Dracomon did.[break][break] Akio looked at Obito and back to the picture and back to Obito. " Oh yeah I remember him." Akio replied when Panthermon jumped in. He chuckled when Panthermon called it an exact likeness. He could tell it was a joke cause Akio was having a little trouble seeing who he was as well. " Yeah I guess I can see it." Akio didn't have the same animosity toward the guy, but he definitely wasn't going befriend him if he met him on the street.[break][break] Akio headed over to the table where Obito had sat down at and brought out his collection of cards as well. He started flipping through the cards he had and found a few that he thought Panthermon could really benefit from. He laid out on the table BS065 - SHOGUN SWORD, BS107 - RAVENOUS HUNT, and lastly BS115 - WOLF CLAW. " Here are a few cards I think you could really benefit from. When you were talking about making good combos that would be really beneficial for Panthermon I immediately thought of these cards. Do you think these would be something you would be interested in?" Akio definitely thought these were something he would like. However there could be other cards he was interested in.[break][break] " I don't know if there is anything else you would want but here
is the rest of my cards let me know if you see anything else you are interested in." Akio laid out his card binder to Obito to flip through. " Maybe once we are done trading you could help me come up with some better combos. You seemed to know the card game better than me anyways. It was never something I really got into until I had a partner."

Akio HigashiIt seemed Panthermon and Dracomon were on different 'wavelengths' in conversation. Panthermon had not been meaning to be snappy, but direct in his words. He just tilted his head, baffled by the child dragon digimon. "You're a wierd one, you know that?" Panthermon replied. "Takes one to know one, buddy cat," Obito called back to Panthermon-- who growled and frowned at the word. "I told you never to call me that!" he said, then just returned back to look at what the tamers were doing. Obito saw that the others didn't really get his artistic sense of humor, and just frowned. "Sigh... everyone is a critic...," he said and moved on. The cards he offered were in fact pretty good, and interesting to say the least. Obito looked over them-- seeing Musiyamon's sword, Weregarurumon-- and an odd one that seemed to be a seething darkness of war called "Ravenous Hunt". Obito saw good use of 2 of them-- the third was odd in his mind, but might be something worth using for one of Panthermon's future evolutions. It was hard for him to say, but he was drawn to the Ravenous Hunt and sword, his intuition telling him they would come in handy. "Yeah, I'd like all of them," Obito agreed, "I mean the Ravenous hunt seems a bit dark, but I get a feeling it can come in real use down the line. The wold claws and sword too..." He then offered him the cards he had. "Which of my cards would you like to exchange for it?" THat said though, Obito saw another he wanted-- "OH! Do you need the Chameleon card? I really could use that for Panthermon... Its ironically how stupid Daichi got the drop on me." His eyes widen as he talked combos again. "Did you know you could target your opponent with that card too? Not just yourself. Think of the possibilities with that one!" A sigh escaped Panthermon as he soon sat himself and lied down on the cold floor next to Dracomon. "Better get comfortable. This could take a while..." he half-joked as he laid down for a cat nap. (OOC: Stating the start of official trade. On chat or here, state which cards you want and we declare it official here OOC)

Dracomon turned his head like a confused puppy when Panthermon called him an odd one. He didn't think he was all that odd. No one else had said anything to him otherwise. He was pretty sure he was a normal digimon. "No?" Dracomon responded to Panthermon. Dracomon turned his head watching the back and forth Obito and Panthermon were having. "Buddy cat" Dracomon chuckled.[break][break]
Akio listened as Obito thought about the three cards that he had offered him. He was unsure about Ravenous Hunt so Akio thought he might chime in and explain why he thought he could benefit from the card. "Well I added Ravenous hunt in there cause it seemed that it fit the whole theme of who Panthermon is. Plus if you ever meet Daichi again I would assume that it would be quite helpful in a senario like that if ever encountered again." He thought a berserk like that could be quite helpful in a life or death type situation.[break][break]
Akio was looking through Obito's card while he was doing the same to his. He hadn't found anything he was entirely sure he wanted when Obito piped up again about wanting another card. "Yeah that card is up for trade too. I have no plan for it currently. Plus it shouldn't be too hard to find again." That last part was more for himself than Obito. Just thinking that he could find it again. Obito had brought up some good points about it.[break][break]
"Oh here are a few I am interested in, Brains Driver, Entrenched, and both Horn Buster."

Akio Higashi Panthermon gave a grumpy growl at Dracomon but ignored the comment. Panthermon was a proud warrior at heart-- so to be considered 'cute' was not something he enjoyed. Even if he could be coaxed into it with some friendly petting as any cat couldn't resist. As Obito gave one final look at the cards, he smiled, realizing it was a good deal to trade the cards for it. If they could be of use, he shouldn't hesitate. The only thing was both Horn Busters, but Panthermon had more skills in magic than in physical power. THat said, he didn't have much attachment to it beyond their rarity. "Okay, this is all good. Deal," he said and shook AKio's hand. "Thanks! Hey if you need more cards, I get a discount on all my stuff." WIth that they exchanged cards, and Obito collected his three new cards. "This is gonna be fun to test out at the right time." he said and put the cards into his binder again. With that, he pushed the binder into his backpack again and rose back up to look at AKio. "Now, we actually get to real training." He soon stood a good distance away from the training dummies he had constructed and twirled one of his cards between his fingers-- having learned cardistry to use them faster. "The trick with this exercise is to expand our Digimon's own abilities. I learned practice helps them refine them-- and even improve them. " he said and looked to Panthermon, "Ready, buddy?" Panthermon smoothly walked across to where Obito stood. "Let's get started." he said with a growl. (Montague Time for training  ) Panthermon planted his feet apart and growled-- fire aglow from his maw. He then let out a fierce growl and released his Spiral Flame attack-- which lit up the dark corridors and flew right for the Dracmon dummy. Whoosh! The impact causes a strong explosion and resulted in a fierce bit of fire that now burned off the dummy. Obito silently gestured to Panthermon as he had a cocky look and showed Akio. Panthermon's spiral flame had grown stronger since they last met. His fire power was more considerable as it had been in the past. "Let's see what you got?" OBito said, challenging Akio to have Dracomon do his share. "YOU can use cards too if you want. It's a perfect time to test combos." All the while, Obito held his cards aloof in his hand, waiting for the time to try some. (OOC: I accept this trade and officially the cards are transferred)

Dracomon looked at Panthermon. He clearly didn't like the nickname that Obito had given him. Dracomon made a note of that, he wasn't going to call him that again. Even if the name did make him chuckle. Oh well. He wondered when they were going to get trainning. The tamers sure had been at it for a while with whatever it was they were doing. Dracomon hadn't been paying attention to them so much.[break][break]
Akio was glad that Obito found this trade favorable. It was always a good thing when two trading parties could easily agree on a trade. Better than things going all out of whack so to speak. But its always nice to get rid of cards that aren't needed and gain some new ones that are more needed. When Obito stuck his hand out for a hand shake Akio immediately returned the gesture giving him a nice firm hand shake in return.[break][break]
"Yes thank you. I can't wait to try these out too. Everything has a time and place though." Akio added the cards he had recieved from Obito to his collection. He was going to have to sit down with all his cards and construct a new deck after this. Oh well that would have to be on his own time. [break][break]
Dracomon had been sitting there quitely minding his own business. Just wanting to start trainning. He was looking at Panthermon who seemed to be relaxing as well. He would from time to time check in on the tamers who were doing something or another he knew not what. When all of a sudden Panthermon sprung to life and shot of his attack.[break][break]
Dracomon watched as the attacked hit a dummy shaped like him. His eyes widen when he saw the strength and ferocity Panthermon put into the attack, he couldn't help but wonder if some of that was due to anger at him. But it seemed like now might not be the best time to ask.[break][break]
Akio figured he might as well do the same so he called out to Dracomon. "Kū'ē!" Dracomon knew instantly what to do. He found another target that hand't already been demolished and fired off his strongest G Shurunen. Dracomon's Horns gloowed brightly as the attack gathered in the back of his throat. The red laser growing ever brighter. Finally he fired of the attack. It nailed its target piercing it straight through and continuing on into the distance. When the attack cleared there was a nice clean hole through the target.[break][break]
"Dracomon's improved too." Akio replied. He was proud of his partners strength.

Akio Higashi (OOC: Its Dracmon dummy-- not Dracomon ) Obito grinned at Dracomon's attack as well. It seemed they all had been doing well with their abilities and to grow stronger. Dracomon had some new skills as well from when they last battled Pidmon in the abandoned church. "Looks like you have. I know Digimon grow stronger downloading the data of enemies-- but that doesn't seem to always be the case," he said. "If so, then the point of Tamers wouldn't make sense." Panthermon gave a soft purr and nodded at Dracomon's progress. "Nicely done," He complimented the dragon. Panthermon made another charge for the Daichi dummy now-- and as he ran, his claws glowed with darkness. He soon delivered a swift slash of his claws, tearing the sandbag used for his body open and causing a bit to be spilled out. The digimon seemed to be faster as well-- due to his own power. Noticeably faster-- without even the use of a card. A smile came to Obito's face, proud how his Digimon had grown since they first met. "So what do you think?" Obito asked Akio, curious of his opinion of his strength-- but it would only be temporary... because there was only one way to truly test their strength. In an actual battle between a live, responsive opponent.

It seemed that both of their partners had grown in strength. It was always for the best that they grew in strength. They don't want to to get stuck in a situation like Obito was. "Yeah it's a good thing they are getting stronger. We definitely need to keep ourselves strong." Akio had always wondered why the digimon picked partners. It was a mystery to him. But Obito might be on to something. "Yeah tamers definitely might have something to do with it. Hard to say though, not like we can study it very well." [break][break]
Both Akio and Dracomon watched as Panthermon dashed toward the dummy with the drawing of Daichi. His speed was truly impressive. The two of them must have really been working hard on this. It was paying off. Akio was impressed. He was about to be given a chance to vocalize that, as Obito asked him what he thought. "You both have been working very hard on this together. It is showing too. You have grown much since our battle with the Pidomon."[break][break]
"Here I want to try something a little less offensive and a little more, support I guess you would call it." Akio then turned to Dracomon. "Mea hou!" With that Dracomon turned towards Panthermon. He inhaled a large amount of air, before exhaling a golden flame. Unlike a normal flame there was no heat given off by it. It passed over Panthermon harmlessly. It appeared to do nothing. However to Dracomon he could feel the change.[break][break]
"Thank, you have been improving too. So tell me how does it feel to be a dragon now?" Dracomon asked Panthermon once the golden flame dissipated.

Akio Higashi PRaise was all well and good-- even Panthermon felt appreciated by the fact they got better and recognized by their allies. They were on the right track. As Dracomon used the odd ability, Panthermon felt no pain but was surprised by the sudden enchantment. The fire burned off his fur, sort of similar to 'Spirit Rush' had on his person. The cat just shrugged his shoulders and cocked his head. "No different from normal," Panthermon replied. True, it felt interesting, but neither giving him any kind of bonus. Roughly a half hour passed as they exchanged blows to the training dummy, reducing it to a series of torn bags and embers upon the ground-- the drawings Obito did now indistinguishable. They pretty much used the training dummies to their extent. Obito had tested even a few of his cards, but in the end there was no physical change to them. Obito's cards revolved around circumstance, not many attack cards. He sat himself down on one of the pales in the broken cooridor, and let out a deep breath. "Wow... well, I know it doesn't seem like much, but im glad we gone through with it. " Obito said and checked his cards. There was one card he didn't check but he wanted to. A certain training card-- but it required real combat to do. Obito looked to Akio and Dracomon, an idea crossing his mind as he remembered what AKio said earlier. "Hey, Akio, didn't you say you wanted to spar earlier? " Obito asked. "Would you... still be up for that?" Panthermon's ears perked up at the mention of an actual fight. It seemed Dracomon's thoughts would soon come to reality as the two might battle... but he knew Obito's concerns of taking things too far and resulting in injury or deletion of their partners. The hesitation was clear on Obito, and he waited to hear Akio's answer. If they were going to have a battle... it was going to be one to help one another grow, not for 'keeps'.
