Now though, he's a master of his own discipline. He can be forward, yet kind. Strong, yet humble. That standard is still there and he still strives for it himself. But for others, he no longer beats them and lead from the rear. He doesn't make it a point to put himself at the forefront, but a nudge in the correct direction is always useful. Some would call it brotherly or paternal and that's supplimented by his volatile emotion. That mean spirit, that knack for violence is still there. If one were to equate him to an object, it would be a sword. Sheathed, it is unassuming. Simple. Though, there's a hint of it's capability. Only when it's too late does one realize how destructive it can be. In the culture he has grown up in, the sword possesses a spirit; it is not a tool, but a companion. And to his companions? He is a weapon with an energy as sharp as any blade.
[attr="class","shinjuku_head"] PERSONALITY
There was once a time when Tyrone had been more noticable. Actually, it could be said that insufferable is a more fitting term. He was rowdy, uncooth, and quite mean-spirited. He had a standard that everyone needed to fit or else he'd make them see his reasoning, often through violence. You had to be strong and you had to be noticed if you wanted to be truly untouchable. He was a bully, but only in the interest of weeding out weakness. He was bombastic and explosive; his emotions ran so wild that even he had no idea what to do with them. He was a wildfire, indiscriminately destructive and unfocused.[break][break]Now though, he's a master of his own discipline. He can be forward, yet kind. Strong, yet humble. She attracted attention beyond disgust.[break][break]
One passionate affair after another, house to house only chasing that full-body high before she was set to ship out again, it eventually had to happen. It...being Tyrone. Taliya knew it couldn't have been sea sickness; she'd never been sea sick in her life. She had also never craved pickle juice ever before either. She, of course, found this out while she was on patrol and was unceremoniously sent back to port. She couldn't have been happier.[break][break]
Soon, she eventually found the man that had been her partner in this future investment. He was a manager of a host club: a Mr. Sora Hamamoto. Mr. Hamamoto, strangely enough, had fallen for this non-commisioned officer and her brazen openness. She didn't mind him too much, either.[break][break]
After a...significant amount of jumping through hoops and hours of paperwork, they were officially married. Taliya's sister and maid of honor held little baby Tyrone right there on the beach and even now, he can see a very, very hazy image of that dress. Or he thought he did.[break][break]
Six months later however, the USS Blue Ridge just...disappeared. Some think it was sunk, but America's current enemies had no staging in the Pacific. Some think it was sunk. Some thought a new Bermuda Triangle just materialized in the middle of the ocean. Yet, search after search was conducted and no dead zone was found. One of the oldest ships in the Navy, just gone. Sora was a different man after that. He was barely present at his office and just let the business run itself. It lost money for several months, but all Sora wanted to do was spend time with his child.[break][break]
Years later, once Tyrone had a firm memory, the man would tell his son all about his mother. How bold she was, how staunch she was in her will. How she forced others to simply step up to her level or get left behind. Tyrone saw this magnificent woman, finally someone with the same skin as him, and idolized that boldness. It turned to just as destructive behavior. This continued well into middle school and his father learned something through this proxy Tyrone had become.[break][break]
He would've divorced Taliya.[break][break]
After a brutal fight and the embarrasment of being called to the school to deal with a bruised and swollen-faced son, all he did from the drive home until he went to sleep, he said things to his son he still regrets to this day. Worthless. Embarrassing. A mistake. Tyrone was just barely aware enough to take that to heart. His father had finally told him the truth and realized the woman that gave birth to him was barely anyone to look up to. Then who? Who could he learn from? How could he change?[break][break]
He was forced into kendo that very week. He was awful at it; the tantrums he threw when his hits didn't score were legendary. His sensei though was a man of discipline and was not above just simply swatting him in the throat. He would learn this mastery of his emotions. He would learn what it meant to be someone admirable.[break][break]
Tyrone though, to this day, still remembers he is a mistake. But he's trying to roll with it.
[attr="class","shinjuku_head"] HISTORY
His mother was not a woman to be trifled with. She was direct and rude, with a sense of humor permanently planted in crudeness. She drank heavily, went to work hungover the next day, and had almost killed herself on numerous occasions. Her name was Taliya Goss and she was a Chief Petty Officer working out of the naval base in Yokosuka. And while she was notorious in the area as being unhinged and rude, almost a diametric opposite with the local population...[break][break]She attracted attention beyond disgust.[break][break]
