Kaida Adachi The Tokyo bay area was alive with the lights of the nearby city, turning the cloudy sky alit with its glow. Though areas of the city were alight with night life, the industrial waterfront district was pretty dark and deserted. A few lights glowed from street lamps and glowing ones from the tips of the towers and docks to hail people in the dark. As a crisp autumn wind blew in from the ocean, others were skulking around this deserted waterfront. From up upon one of the perches of a nearby warehouse building, Shino-- a Web Trooper member-- sat there looking through a pair of binoculars at the surrounding area. As such, it was her job to be on patrol for this part of Tokyo in the interest that a wild digimon might appear. Her partner, Commandramon, was close by on the rooftop as well. "Okay, Vector," she said calmly to her partner as she scoped out the area. "Remember to pay attention as much as you can. We probably won't see any action but its best to be on alert and not get--" *Crunch!Crunch!... Gulp!* The sound of ruffling potato chip bags and bags shuffling around made Shino widen her eyes and turn around. There among the backpack she had packed of food-- Commandramon was stuffing his face with one of the snacks she brought for later... not only after 5 minutes on scouting duty. The moment Commandramon saw Shino glaring at him, he stopped eating, crunching one last potato chip in his teeth. "... Vector..." she growled. "What?" The Commandramon said, fainting innocence. " I'm a growing digi-trooper, boss." She sighed and rubbed her head. "Of all the Digimon in all the internet, I end up partnered with the one with the least self-control," she groaned and put her hand on her hip. "Will you put that away! You can eat in about an hour or so. Now, focus." Commandramon hopped up to his feet, causing the empty bag to flutter away. "Roger that, Ma-am." he said and gave a salute to her. Jumping up to the edge of the building, Commandramon shuffled his rifle about and peered through the sniper scope of it-- allowing him to see around better. If any rogue Digimon were to show up, Commandramon and Shino's combine observation would find it. At least, till Commandramon got the munchies again... Shino's Deck
SHINO'S DECK
BS029 - AQUA LUNG
Grants the Digimon functional gills for 5 turns, allowing them to efficiently breathe underwater.
BS036 - FLOOD
Soaks the entire battlefield in ankle-high water and raises the humidity greatly (or at least a 60ft by 60ft radius). Fire attacks lose a damage category of effectiveness and Burn cannot be inflicted during this time, but Thunder attacks gain an additional low chance of inflicting Stun for 1 turn. The water evaporates after 5 turns.
BS063 - CAT CLAWS
Summons a pair of Gatomon's copied SaberLeomon claws for Digimon use. This set of easy-to-use lightweight claws boosts the user’s Dexterity by 5 Points while worn. Inflicts low Light element damage. Fades away after 3 turns.
BS129 - BRAVE SHIELD
The user equips WarGreymon's Brave Shield. Nullifies all fire damage aimed at it, but must be aimed and used with at least two hands. If placed on the user's back, it will nullify all fire damage aimed at their back. Lasts three turns. Digimon and humans. Humans must have 15 Athletics to use.
BS065 - SHOGUN SWORD
Summons Musyamon's Shogun Sword for Digimon/human use. This cursed blade yearns to meet combat, its damage increasing when the user is low on health. Inflicts low Dark/Metal damage minimum, increasing to high Dark/Metal damage when the user is at critical health. Fades away after 3 turns. (Humans require at least 7 Athletics)
BS067 - STONE HIDE
Covers Digimon in stones, ala Gotsumon. While heavy, decreasing Dexterity by 5, it increases Defense by 10 and gives a resistance to Earth attacks. Fades away in 3 turns.
BS012 - PROTECT DRIVER
Raises the user's Defense by 10 points for 2 turns.
BS023 - RELEASE
Cures the Digimon of Charm. They will however be still somewhat unable to bring themselves to hurt the original charmer, unable to use basic attacks or special attacks directed towards them for 1 turn.
BS056 - G SHURUNEN
Dracomon's signature attack. The belches out a beam of draconic energy. Deals low Fire damage, but is immune to resistances (but not nullifications) to Fire damage.

Kaida didn't consider herself the most well-off person in the world, nor was she the most concerned about doing good, which made this far easier to do. Really, if you were going to make a place smell so good, they couldn't be surprised at this. She perked up as a yelp, transitioning into yells, echoed out in some restaurant. She frowned slightly, Jorgie wasn't supposed to be spotted, but they'd make do. Sure enough, a black, serpentine shape launched out a window. It was quite some distance from where he entered, she hoped he had spoils from his hunt. Launching into a run, she bounded forward and zipped down some alleyway. Impact on her back, Jorgie had timed his jump well enough, and they had food! " Hurt anyone?" She asked, shifting her run and doubling back, running down another corridor, towards the waterfront. " No." Indeed, there was no blood on his fangs, he wouldn't dirty food that he intended to give to Kaida. He had good spoils tonight, some wooden stick with fragrant meat, and a crinkling bag that also smelled nice nearly crushed in one of his coils. He was proud...and hungry, a bite would be nice. Kaida paused, pacing in place and straining her ears. No footsteps, they were safe. She settled against a wall, extending her hand and allowed Jorgie to shuffle into the crook of her arms. She smiled, genuinely smiled, and took the meat. She tilted her head at the bag, and tilted her head, " Chips?" He gave a shrug, utilizing his full body,and moved to tear open the bag. While he experienced the salty taste, Kaida devoured the meat, seemed they'd rest easy tonight. Suddenly, she paused and tilted her head upward. Was something up there?Shino Chidori |

Kaida AdachiFrom the snake's highly sensitive nose, he could smell the open bag of chips that Commandramon had been snacking on. Upon the building, the two were leaning against-- the same one that Shino and Vector were perched upon. If Jorgie wanted to get some snacks, he would need to scale up the wall-- and Kaida could follow via the fire escape that ran up the building. From up above, due to where they were looking, Shino and Commandramon wouldn't have detected the Nightmare Duo-- in the blind spot being so close. As the two scanned around, they kept an eye out on the calm looking ocean view. For a moment, Shino felt relaxed being able to see it-- far better than from her home in Shibuya. "Sigh... I'm bored," commandramon sighed, peering through his sniper scope around the buildings. "Can we have snacks now?" "It's only been 10 minutes. Jeez..." Shino grumbled at her partner. It would only be a matter of time however, that both tamers and their partners would become aware of one another.

Kaida remained vigilant enough, but she didn't have eyes everywhere, nor ears, and missed the small snippet of conversation above her. Jorgie too had only slightly enhanced senses, except for one, smell. He didn't notice at first, focused on his own meal and assuming that the scent was from his own chips. However, he was done now, but that scent was still there. It almost seemed like a gift, and he raised his head and managed to slip off of Kaida's shoulders. She didn't stop him, why would she need to stop him?...and he hauled himself up the building. Perhaps it was the hunting instincts and recent victory, but when he rose up from behind and saw a human and gun-wielding lizard, he wasn't intimidated, he just saw more food. His eyes were wide and pupils slitted, and he silently reared back, and struck for the delightful smell. Shino Chidori |

Kaida Adachi Shino was otherwise oblivious as she looked out at the distant tokyo skyline. No rogue digimon signal. No sign of any trouble. And for the time, Commandramon was behaving so she had some peace from his nosier and aggravating attitude. However, as the snake slithered his way up to the top of the roof and towards the pile of snacks... ..."huh?" Commandramon said, "My snack senses are tingling," he commented. Shino sighed. "You don't have snack senses, you dolt. Seriously, stop thinking with your stomach!" she grumbled and looked through her binoculars. However, the soft, barely audible sound of a hiss did in fact make Commandramon more alert. Curious, he turned around... and soon saw the odd snake Digimon sneaking closer to his bag. "HEY!" Commandramon cried, He jumped up and glared at the snake. "No touchie my food, snack-thief!" "Huh... WHAAA?!" Shino shrieked-- and revealed her ultimate flaw. No matter how tough she was, she had one fear that she just hated. Snakes. She was scared to death of snakes that she nearly lost her balance and fell over the rooftop. She hated snakes... scared of them. She especially hated that american film when they attacked a plane, and hense never wanted to go near a snake. "S-snake!" Commandramon was about to shoot-- till he recognized the snake being not your typical snake. "Wait a minute... you're a digimon, aren't you?" (OOC: Would your digimon appear on digimon scanner being a custom?)

Kaida only became aware of her partner's ill-fated decision the moment a scream rang out, followed by another, one that confirmed her suspicions, snake...great. Instantly, she was on her feet, sprinting to catch a way to get to Jorgie's picked fight. Jorgie winced at the woman's shriek, fighting urge to roll his eyes and settling for a flick of the tongue and low hiss. Yes, he was a snake, anything else to note? Either way, his element of surprise was lost, and two pairs of eyes were on him, one asking over his origin. In response, he simply nodded. The intelligence in his eyes and the deliberatenrss of the motion defeated the meaning of words. At the same moment, Kaida hauled herself up the side of the building, breaching the edge into view. Kaida AdachiThe initial shock calmed over Shino as the snake no longer advanced. She worked hard to try and keep her cool, but this one she had to really work to keep herself from shivering at the sight of the snake. She took a deep breath and slid off the edge. "Wait.. A digimon?" she asked. It was then that the other girl's head appeared over the railing. It made it clear that snake was not a normal snake... and preferably, Shino preferred a digimon oppose to an actual feral snake. "Aww... Shino-chi," Commandramon commented, a chuckle in his tone, "You sound so cute when you get scared." WACK!! Shino stomped forward and smacked Commandramon upside the head. "S-shut up!" Despite the helmet, Commandramon flinched and held his poor head. "Owie-- sorry..." he said, but still blushed at Shino's cuteness. Shino then took out her digivice, and scanned the subject-- finding out it was a strange species. A serpentemon-- Virus, rookie digimon. With that data obtained, she calmed down further and turned to the white haired woman-- who was very likely the snake's tamer. "This digimon's yours right?" she asked. "OH... Um, I'm Shino. This is Vector," she said, addressing Commandramon. Still, Commandramon kept an eye on the snacks. "Hey... you need to ask permission before You take my rations, snaky." he said, still holding his rifle close. Shino wasn't too sure who this person was, but she knew she was painfully close to Nightmare territory. She had not come to pick a fight with them. Hopefully, this person had the same sense to not instigate a fight as well.

Kaida's aggression started to fizzle out as the spectacle of a scene played out in front of her, finally, Jorgie let out a brief snicker and the tension in the air flowed away. Her face dropped slightly, and she took on a less aggressive stance as Jorgie returned to her feet. Jorgie didn't respond to the other Digimon's comment, rolling his eyes and turning up his nose, showing enviable disdain considering he was planning on stealing the so-called rations. Nor did he try to hide from the scan, looking straight at the woman as she tried to find out more about him, useless, knowledge wouldn't help best him if some kind of confrontation went on. Kaida nodded swiftly, noting to herself that this lizard with a gun was likely this woman's Digimon, but neglecting to scan the thing. " What're you trying to do here?" She questioned, narrowing her eyes and keeping her chin at the woman's binoculars. People usually didn't stray this close, much less try to spy so close... Shino Chidori |

Kaida Adachi Shino's fright from before was gone as she straightened out her hoodie and brushed herself off from the dirty railing "I'm on patrol," she stated simply to the white haired woman. The two seemed relatively close to the same age but her mannerism was not so different to her--- guarded and mistrusting of people. "I'm under orders to investigate wild Digimon... which I assume you know about considering your a tamer too," she surmised. It wasn't hard to tell after all, if you were hanging around with a Digimon-- odds are you had the digivice to go with it. She narrowed her own eyes at her, as if to show challenge to the woman as well. The air got tense again, but only from the challenge the two woman had. It was then Commandramon lost his focus on the snake and his food to the two girls looking at each other. The naughty cyborg dinosaur snickered at a thought. "Um... if you two are gonna fight, can I at least fetch a video camera and some jello?" Commandramon asked, clearly indicating some sort of perverted-minded fantasy. The tension immediately broke with the digimon's pervy comment and Shino growled with irritation. "Are you serious?" Shino grumbled, shaking a fist but still facing the woman. "I swear..." "Hey! Hey-- I'm only kidding... mostly," he commented, waving his claw defensively. Shino sighed to let his comment roll off her back and just looked at the white haired woman. "Maybe we got off on the wrong foot. Whom might you be?" she asked formally.

Kaida bristled slightly as a silent challenge entered the air, leaning forward slightly as she slouched forward in a possible lunge.... ...and then that lizard ruined it all again. Kaida jerked her head to the side, confusion flickering in her eyes, " Hah!? What'd you-rrrgh-never mind." One way or another, while this confrontation between the two was weird, it was certainly not violent, and Kaida just shrugged as the woman revived the conversation with an asked introduction. " I'm Kaida...that's all you have to know. You?" Kaida stalked forward as her question hung in the air, not quite ignoring the duo or taking her eyes off them, but far more relaxed than she started. Kaida Adachi "I already told you who we are, and what we are doing," Shino replied simply, now more relaxed. Her hands were in her pockets, and rested on the railing overlooking the pier. "And pardon Vector... He is a bit... odd," she said, coloring him in a more friendly light. Her gaze, however, returned to the stranger. While polite, her eyes were sharp on her, not willing to trust her too soon to be all buddy-buddy with her. After all, she was close to nightmare territory and if what she heard was true, a good many of them were related to criminal activity. But even she couldn't judge too soon. Even as the girl approached, Shino remained chilled and calm. As she too looked at the view, Commandramon felt enough at ease to look over to the snake. His gun was against his shoulder, now not a threat to the snake as he pranced over and looked down at him. "Hi there. Hey if your hungry you can have some? Oooh! Try the peanut butter! Its good," he said and opened a jar of peanut butter the dino had stashed in his pack. "I'd guess I'd have to open it, cause you know..." It was as if he was silently hinting how a snake needed help to open a jar with no hands. All the while, Shino couldn't help but take interest in this person. What was her goal to be a tamer? There was mush she didn't know about her, but the quiet attitude she too possessed seemed to peak her interest. As if the two held similar burdons to bear. She kept it to herself, but Shino fought the urge to reach out to her. People came and go. Some were trust worthy, others not. She couldn't make herself vulnerable to that kind of risk again. (OOC: Next round, Im submitting for NPC request for some combat )

Kaida puffed out a breath and an unintentional smirk crossed her face, " Odd." That was an understatement of the year, now wasn't it? Obviously, the moment she felt her mouth start to curve upward, she wiped any and all expression off her face. " Where's the Digimon you're looking for...why?" She fought the urge to ask who this girl worked for, it was legitimately none of her business. Kaida didn't consider herself a "kind" person to Digimon, if they were stupid enough to fight her or make a dumb question, that was on them...but it still didn't eliminate the curiosity of it all, perhaps she'd get to see another Chousen or something. She wanted go see something extraordinary today, maybe not a Digimon, but she didn't know that. Jorgie stared out of the corner of his eyes at the perky, reptilian soldier. Friendly. Friendly...a little too friendly. Nonetheless, he leaned in and his nostrils flared slightly at the strong scent. His eyes flickered up once again, and his tail swiped through the peanut butter, raising it to a curious tongue. In about a second, he had seized another chip and scarfed it down.
