The past minute was just a blur to him. He took a moment to recollect his thoughts.
He'd gone out tonight to test out some of the new cards he'd gotten. It all started out the same as the last time he went card testing: he got a few hours of sleep, was woken up by his partner, then snuck out of the house. He went to the same park as before, and his partner had confirmed that it was just as empty as last time.
But that's when this night diverged from the last, and when his memory got a bit hazy.
For some reason, he had an urge to head towards a specific area. He didn't know what the source of the urge was, or where he was going, but he was compelled to walk towards it. To anyone that had seen him, he was almost in some kind of wide-eyed trance, completely oblivious to his surroundings, and he seemed to completely ignore the bright pink spider desperately trying to break him out of it, even climbing on top of him to try and speak right into his ear.
It wasn't until he felt a pain in his eyes, and heard an extremely loud honking noise that he was broken out of his trance. He was too much in a daze to react, but his partner threw him out of the way in time that he wasn't struck by the oncoming car. Only then did he realize he'd walked right into the street.
Before he could get up himself, he was lifted up an a pair of thing legs - Kuki's. She rushed across the street (thankfully before any more cars came by) until they were within an alleyway. She carefully placed him down by the wall, behind some cover so nobody would notice the child lying down or the pink spider that put him down.
He could feel her moving him around, even lifting up some of his clothing as she asked him how he felt or if it hurt when she pressed on this part of his body. All his answers were succinct, a simple "yes" or "no" with a nod or two either punctuating or standing in for his answers. He was a little sore from being tossed, but apart from that, he was fine.
As Kumomon began to scold him about how "you looked like you were possessed" and how "you could have been killed!", he couldn't help but find that he struggled to focus on her words. Something else held his attention: a song that he could hear going off in his head.It was a strange song. He wasn't just remembering a song from the past - it was something he knew he never heard until tonight. It was just a calm, pleasant humming that seemed to echo through his head. It was quiet - enough that he could still hear Kuki's ranting over it - yet his mind focused so much on it that her words went through one ear and out the other.
And though he couldn't tell where the song was coming from, with no lyrics to give him directions or requests for him to find the source, he just knew it was coming from somewhere deep in this alleyway. And that he had to meet the one who was singing it. @anyone » made by wizzNote: The song attracts humans towards the singer, but digimon aren't affected. Cards: 6 Swipes Remaining. She shouldn't be out of her house this late at night. Heck, she shouldn't even be awake. Yet still, Kasumi was up, and walking through a long, dark alley. The reason? Mirrormon didn't know, and trying to get a response out of his tamer seemed to be a futile endeavor. He had made a fair bit of guesses already however; none of them led to pleasant outcomes. No matter how much he tried to snap her out of this strange trance, the girl just kept walking. It was beginning to become slightly frustrating. At the distance, the digimon could see a pair that seemed to be in a situation somewhat similar to theirs; a pink, arachnid-like being, and a small kid. Had he seen them before? They looked vaguely familiar to him. Right, no time to ponder on those issues. Especially since Kasumi's pace made it painfully obvious that if those two didn't get out of the way, they'd collide with his tamer. "Careful there!" He called out in that direction, hoping they'd hear him. If not, it'd be a pretty rough bump. Hideo Kino 1. Protect Driver 2. Brains Driver 3. Luster Driver 4. Search Engine 5. Resilience 6. Hideo stood back up, intent on following the song to its source. He ignored the aches from when he had been thrown, and he ignored his partner as she continued to chide him. Just follow the sound of the music - just go further into the alley, and he'd find its source.
He would have continued walking had his partner not run right in front of him, physically preventing him from moving forward. Even as he tried to walk around her, she'd just push him back. This was starting to get frustrating - maybe if he kept trying, she'd relent and let him go, or he could slip by.
But just as he was about to try again, a new voice rang out from behind him. For just a moment, it gave him pause. Enough pause for him to snap out of it, to realize that he was going against his own digimon to follow something that he knew absolutely nothing about.
But before he could ask what was going on, someone walked right into him from behind. The weight of his own body along with the other person's was too much for his partner - so the boy slipped right by her legs and onto the ground. His partner's efforts did help prevent it from being a rough fall, but it wasn't enough to stop his forehead from hitting the ground with an audible *thump*.
Hideo moaned as he lifted himself off the ground, rubbing a hand against the spot that hit the ground first. It felt sore as he pressed down on it, and it even felt a little gooey. He rubbed his fingers to confirm his suspicions: yeah, he was bleeding. And if had to guess, that was going to leave a pretty bad bruise for a while.
Before he could think about how to explain this in the morning, he realized that he was much more lucid than before. As his partner lifted him up and moved him into a sitting position, he could clearly hear what she was saying: "Hideo! Hideo, are you ok?!" He could feel as she poked and prodded him, mainly around his forehead.
"Yeah...yeah, I'm fine." It was a weak response, and he knew that wasn't true. It didn't feel like he got a concussion from that, but then again, it wasn't like he knew what a concussion felt like. And even if it wasn't that bad of an injury, he was still hurt. No way for him to play it off as harmless. "What...what's going on? This isn't the park, is it?"
His partner paused for a moment. "You don't remember?" she asked, once again tapping him on the forehead, "You started walking over to this alleyway and almost got yourself run over. You were fine for a moment, but you got back up and started ignoring me. Then someone walked into you."
He wouldn't see the angry glare his digimon gave the girl, but he realized that he wasn't the only person in the alleyway. "H-hey!" he exclaimed, struggling for a moment to stand up before stopping as his partner kept him down, "Are you alright? I'm sorry for getting in the way!"
He'd yet to notice it, but the song wasn't playing in his head anymore. Kasumi Iwamoto @anyone » made by wizzCards: 6 Swipes Remaining. That had been a rough bump. Despite Mirrormon's calls, Kasumi hadn't been paying attention and her collision with the kid result in a pretty harsh fall on her stead too. She felt her arms sore, and her head was throbbing at the moment. Geez... "Are you okay?" The digimon asked, his message intended for both the kid and his tamer, that question being echoed by the kid soon enough. The redhead, who had yet still not risen up from the ground, just decided to sit on the floor. She was still a little sore, but she'd be okay... well, eventually. "Uhhh, my head's spinning like a washing machine. But I'll be fine, I think." Just now, she noticed the small kid besides her and the pink, spider-like mon. "Wasn't yer fault, kiddo. I was kinda... I don't know. It was as if somethin' tried to drag me 'ere or somethin'. Twas hella weird."After shaking her head, she was finally able to stand up. "But I guess thas no more. I kinda feel tad dizzy, but I'm okay. How 'bout you? Hope the fall wasn't too harsh."The downside of being in a dark alley in the dead of the night was that she couldn't recognize a face or make the details on his appearance, even less to tell if he was fine or not. "I'm alright," he responded, hoping that his head injury didn't look too bad. He could feel a little bit of blood trickle down, but was quick to wipe it off with his hand before it could drip down past his nose with a motion like he was just wiping sweat off his brow.
But whether or not his attempt was successful for the others didn't matter because his partner did notice. "Hideo," she began, "lying that doesn't work when the truth is right in front of us. Come on - let's just use one of your cards to fix it up."
A small sigh from the boy as he took out his digivice and deck, fanning the latter out so his partner could pick out the card for him. When he felt her move one of the cards up, it was just a matter of finding out which card was sticking out - easy enough just by feeling around. He swiped the card through his digivice, and could instantly notice as the pain from the bruise went away. It would look like the wound itself just disappeared, though the dried blood on his forehead and hand remained.
After putting his cards and digivice away, he couldn't resist touching the spot again, just to make sure it really was fine. It wasn't even sore anymore. Even the light aches from when he was thrown were gone. Well, he wanted to test out his cards, and he was sure to keep this one around!
It was then that the girl asked what he was doing here as well. "I don't really know what brought me here. I was just standing in the park, and then for some reason, I felt like I really needed to come over here..."
He paused for a moment as he tried to remember any other details. "Oh, there was some kind of song. I just sounded like a woman humming and going 'da da da'. It stopped when a car honked its horn when it almost hit me - and then it stopped again when I hit the ground. Did you hear the same thing?"
Though the question was more towards the girl, Kuki was the first to respond. "Dunno what you mean by some song. The only sound I've been hearing is the sound of a kid nearly getting himself running over and my own voice yelling at him to stop." She glanced over at the other two, the girl and her Mirrormon. "And the sound of someone walking right into that kid."
"Really?" he asked, surprised Kuki hadn't heard any of it. Perhaps the others might back him up here. "Did you guys hear the song too? I think that's what was drawing me over here - maybe it was doing the same for you."
"And if this song is drawing people to it, we should stop whoever - or whatever - is singing it. 'cause even if this song's only attracting humans, it'll still cause lots of trouble." Someone else might not get so lucky with an oncoming card. Or maybe it could even affect someone driving a car.
Plus, it was an easy guess that whatever was doing this was a digimon. And if it was discovered by a non-tamer...well, it wouldn't be good. The alley's lightning wasn't enough for the redhead to take a proper look at the boy, so she just went with what he said. Also, he sounded like he was telling the truth, so there was no reason for her to not believe him, was it?
Alas, that hadn't been the truth. The pink spider thing was quick to point out the lie, and that left Kasumi slightly baffled; dude was a pretty good liar, if she had seen them. Totally smooth.
Not like it was her business, though. She watched with a somewhat curious how he got healed by a card, and then story time began.
There was something strange about the melody the kid had described, mostly because she could've sworn hearing more or less the same. Its origin was more or less obvious—a digimon, but why was it doing that? There had to be a reason, right?
"Yeah, I did. A really strange tune; almost felt like... I was dreamin' or something? Then I felt jus like wakin' up when I stumbled onto you."
Just like the Spider, Mirrormon was similarly puzzled at what had happened, and wasn't sure how to react. Had Kasumi been the only one hearing it, he'd have concluded his tamer was delirious. But this kid had heard it too, so...
"I haven't." The digimon responded, not really sure about how to tackle the situation. "But chances are it's a digimon. Doubt a human is capable of bewitching others of its kin. What are we going to do about-"
Question was answered even before the digimon could ask it. The two beings nodded at the kid's proposal. "Guess yer right." The teenager was the first to speak up. "Not a goody-two-shoes, but this dude is not good news. Here's hoping he'll just realize what he's doing is wrong and stop singin', because otherwise..."
Were they even up to fight? Mirrormon seemed to be more curious than worried about this situation, and it wasn't like they had any means to track it. "Also, how are we supposed to find it? Sides the song that had just stopped... I think we have no clue where to find it."
That could be a problem. In any case, the kid seemed like a good person, and she was up to help him.

The girl's explanation was a little different from how he experienced it, but then again, he experienced things differently than most people. "This wasn't the first time the music stopped for me," he said, recalling what happened just minutes ago. "It stopped before when I almost got hit by a car. I think the car horn was loud enough to distract me, but maybe its lights shining in my eyes hurt enough to get me out of it."
Even if he couldn't see, his eyes could still feel things. Including being hurt by bright lights - which was why he usually just kept them shut.
Which meant that maybe, being hurt somehow broke the song? How...unpleasant.
"You do have a point there," Kumomon said in response to the other mirror digimon. "I don't think a human could sing in a way only humans hear. And mind control them. Not unless they have a digimon with them...or are a digimon. Either way, we better teach them not to mess with people with music." Her two front legs stuck up, bent as if she were trying to flex her muscles. To make it clear how she was going to teach the lesson.
Though Hideo wasn't aware of that, he knew very well how she liked to solve these kinds of situations. "Let's just try talking to them first. Maybe they just don't know what effect they're having? It doesn't seem to affect digimon, and most people aren't up this late, so there's a chance that we're the first people that have been affected?"
His partner shrugged. "That's optimistic, but they could just be testing it out on us to use it later. Either way, you guys were being drawn to this alley for a reason. Chances are whatever's doing this is at the end."
Unsure of how to counter that, Hideo sighed. "Well, you do have a point there. I can kinda remember the song drawing me further down this alley, even if it wasn't telling me to go there."
He stood back up (with some assistance from his partner), facing down into the alleyway - he still knew which direction would be further in. "It should be that way. I'll lead the way." He could trust Kumomon to help make sure he didn't trip over anything, or walk right into a wall in case there was a turn coming up. The plan was already set, then! Both Mirrormon and Kasumi took notice of the obvious differences between their fellow human and digimon, the latter chuckling at them; it kinda reminded her of her own arguments with Mirrormon, but probably wasn't the time to be thinking about it.
"Talkin' them down? Guess you're up to take some risks, kiddo." She said, a confident grin plastered on her face. "Not the way I tend to solve most o' my problems, but I guess I can go with that for now. Kinda usin' force if words won't get through, tho. Hope that's okay."
Pink spider-thing was probably on the right. Whatever lurked near this probably was probably near this alley. Maybe at the end of it, even? There was just one way to find out, and that was... advancing. "No problem on being bait, by the way. If things get hairy, I can just get out of the way." She frankly didn't trust on a small kid to keep himself safe, as independent as he looked. Maybe that was just her being needlessly prejudiced? Probably, but whatever.
He had decided to lead the way, however, so both the redhead and the green digimon followed closely after nodding. At this point, she was pretty much expecting a surprise attack or something, but who knew what they'd find.
"Wonder how a digimon managed to sing a song that only affects humans. That's something I hadn't heard of, honestly." Just like the other digimon had said, this could have disastrous effects if a honed version of this ability ever became to existence. Hopefully the being behind this had good intentions...

"It's better than just going in looking for a fight," Hideo responded, a little put-off that the girl was preferring the more violent route. "If it's just a misunderstanding, then it'll just make things worse if we start off by scaring them. People don't like being put on the defensive."
"You say that as if you hadn't already almost died because of them," Kumomon retorted. "Gotta say I'm in agreement with her: that's really risky.."
"Doesn't mean I won't try," was all he had to say before he began walking forward. Kumomon was quick to get ahead of him, slipping one of her rear legs into his hand, which he grasped. It was much easier to walk around new places like this when there was someone to guide him along, though it would have been much easier for him if he had his cane - he didn't expect to go exploring like this. Still, Kuki was vigilant in making sure to clean any debris out of the way that he could possibly trip over.
"Maybe it has something to do with how we're made up?" Kuki answered, "Humans are made of meat, and digimon are made of data. Maybe the song could only be heard by people with meat ears, so they're the only ones affected?"
...that answer actually managed to get a small giggle from Hideo. "I dunno if that's right. Even if you're made of data, I know your ears are just as fleshy as mine, even if they're shaped differently."
This simply earned a shrug from the spider. "We still aren't made of meat. What do you think, Mirror? You think being made of data makes a diff-"
She paused when they reached a crossroads at the alleyway. They could go left, or they could go right. The right lead out to another street, but the other one was at a dead end. And though the lighting may not have been so good, it would be obvious that there was something at the end of it: a two-legged furry creature with a pointed head, though the contrast with the rest of its body would make its head look almost like a helmet with a very long beak at the end, with a rather impressive mane of green feathers.
Kumomon immediately stopped Hideo in his tracks. For a moment, the boy was confused, but he realized the only possible reason for such a sudden, silent stop. And he wasted no time breaking the silence. "Hey!" he shouted, startling his partner, "Were you the one singing that song?"
It also seemed to get the bird digimon's attention, as it rose from its sitting position and approached the group. Its pace never quickened, keeping a steady place, and it would be easy for all of them to hear it humming a song as it progressed. Both Hideo and Kasumi would recognize the song as the one that was playing in their heads earlier before, though this time it was definitely coming from this digimon. And none of them would be put into any kind of trance by it.
The digimon stopped just a few meters away from the group. "♪Humans and Mons, here at an hour so late. Were you all drawn here by song? Or perhaps, it was fate?♪"
Hideo and Kuki just stayed where they were, a bit confused on what to say. It...was singing to them as it spoke. In rhyme. And that voice was so deep...nothing like that feminine singing Hideo heard before. Kasumi Iwamoto » made by wizzCards: 5 Swipes Remaining. Kid was a pacifist, that much was obvious at plain sight. And... a pretty stubborn at it, in all honesty. "Honestly, violence is usually the cleanest way to solve any problem. But if you want to go hard on yourself, I guess talking other down works too."
Way more inefficiently, and the pink spider seemed to agree with that notion. Still, Kasumi couldn't bring to herself to care enough for this situation in order to express her disagreement more strongly.
Her reasoning on how the strange song hasn't affected other digimons was solid, though. Just like some stuff could affect some digimons, it was fair that other could affect only humans. "Well, in fact." Mirrormon quipped in. "Different soundwave frequencies can affect different beings, even if they're digital or not. Just like some animals can hear some sounds that humans can't, I guess the same works for digimons and humans? It's not entirely impossible."
He was about to address the question about being made of meat or not in the only obvious way possible —he was a living, talking mirror with clothes, after all—, but he was interrupted by nothing more and nothing less than them finding their quarry.
Was that... a Kiwimon? The lightning was enough to obstruct Kasumi's vision, but it undoubtedly was a bird of some sort. Would he be friendly... or harmful?
Hideo's own question were responded with rhymes, all while the mon... came closer? "Are you friend or foe? We don't want to fight, so don't force our hand." A fair warning, and probably enough time to give Hideo enough time to try and talk this thing down.
In all honesty, Kasumi was curious on how he'd tackle this situation.

Hmph. He couldn't say he was a fan of what the girl was suggesting. Words could get through if they just tried hard enough, but she seemed pretty set on her ways. As much as he wanted to convince her otherwise, they had other things to worry about at the moment. To his fortune, her partner was the first to respond to the digimon. His words were much less aggressive than Hideo expected the girl's to be."♪I've no intent of starting a fight, but I will defend myself if I must. I heard her speaking of using force just before, so currently, I lack trust.♪" When he mentioned "her", he looked directly at Kasumi. "♪But before me I see two child mons, hardly a threat to a champion like I. Even with two humans to support you both, I suggest that you do not try.♪"Dang. Seemed like he overheard their conversation from before. And even though he wasn't making a move, he named himself as an "adult" digimon. He heard that term before regarding digimon - it meant they were champions, a level above rookie digimon like Kumomon and, from what he heard, the girl's mirror digimon. Not that he wanted to fight in the first place."I'm sorry if it sounds like we want to fight you," he began to plead, "We came here because we heard you singing, and for some reason, it drew us over here. And our digimon couldn't hear it at all. We both got hurt coming over here - I almost got run over by a car getting over here!" And maybe a concussion, though he didn't feel off at all, so maybe that card had healed him completely. The Kiwimon looked at him in silence, taking a moment before speaking. "♪...In the Digital World, that had no effect. For so long, I thought it was just defect. But it would seem that I can assuage my fears, for it just lacked effect on digital ears. Do tell, how did I sound?♪"Huh. Maybe Kuki and Mirrormon were onto something. "Well, you sounded like a woman humming a song to us. Kinda like a lullaby, but it didn't make me sleepy. It made us want to come to you, and it somehow told us how to find you." He didn't immediately get a response from the digimon, who at the moment was deep in thought. "If you don't mind me asking...why did you want to sing that song, even though you didn't think it worked?"The digimon looked right at him, approaching him until his beak was right in the boy's face. "♪Now now, human child, we've only just met. And I still do not know if you pose a threat. So I'd suggest that the four of you mosie, as I don't appreciate you being so...nosy.♪" With that last word, the digimon turned back, the peak of its beak just barely brushing along the tip of Hideo's nose. As if he were just flicking him on the nose....this digimon was hiding something. And it wasn't going to be a good idea to just let him keep singing and possibly get other people hurt. Who'd trust somebody who had been talking about using force? Kasumi wasn't a warmonger, but her words could be misinterpreted really easily. That was the downside of being too direct.
Oh well, first order of the day. Scan the thing; Kiwimon. Champion Level. Probs stronger than both pink spider and Mirrormon. Well; strength wasn't bound to end well in a situation like this, so, for now... she'd leave the talking to the expert.
Convincing this being they were harmless would probably take some work, especially since Hideo's own piece seemed to have been... ineffective? That's when Mirrormon figuratively stepped forward.
"We don't want to fight, I assure you that. It just wouldn't be right." He began, not sure if he was really good at this. "My partner's just... rough, to say the least. Don't let that think she's a beast. We just want for no further harm to come to the humans. That's not really cruel."
Kasumi, on her stead, would just watch how the negotiations went. If her partner and the kid managed to talk down the Kiwimon, that'd be awesome. But on the other hand... she had to be ready just in case the bird tried anything funny. Kasumi's doing nothin'.

Both Hideo and the Mirrormon made their attempts at calming the Kiwimon, the former going for a more conventional attempt at convincing the champion while the latter went as far as to rhyme.
The Kiwimon steadily walked back until he was back in his original position, sitting down on the ground. "♪You speak of risk, but you best not be so dour: few humans are roaming at this hour. I apologize for whatever distress it may cause, but I will not hold my singing at pause.♪"
However, the Mirrormon's protests would earn a short pause before the champion responded. Had anyone been able to see under his bony helmet, they would see him raise his eyebrow. "♪You seek to convince me through the use of mime? Or perhaps just a coincidence you've chosen to rhyme. And yet, the answer I gave the human was not wrong: guilt me as you must, I will not stop the song.♪"
Phooey. He couldn't tell if the Kiwimon was saying he didn't care since he was barely affecting anyone or that he was flat-out apathetic to the song's effects. Seemed like convincing this guy was going to be harder than he thought.
But the digimon did seem to have a reaction to the rookie rhyming, enough to address it. Maybe he could get more of a reaction if he did something similar?
It was worth a shot.
"♪Forgive me when I keep trying to pry. If you don't want to stop, could you at least tell us why/You sang a song that you thought lacked effect?..." He paused for a moment, thinking up something to end with. "...you didn't really think the song was useless, am I correct?♪"
Kumomon could only listen and watch as her partner joined the Mirrormon in their attempts at singing the champion into submission. Really, it seemed pretty pointless to her: this digimon was causing trouble that could get someone injured or killed. They were better off either sending its ass back to the digital world or deleting it right here.
But if her partner insisted on trying to talk it down, well, he'd just hang in the back with the other human girl. "You think this'll work?" he quietly asked her. Kasumi Iwamoto » made by wizzHideo roll: H3rYmb8t +75 Kiwimon Defense: +40 Hideo "Life": 3 Kumomon "Life": 4 Digimon stats:

Mirrormon's attempts hadn't been good enough, his rhymes proving to be a little ineffective in the face of the singing Kiwimon. But at least there has been some effect. The boy besides him seemed to pick the hint, and now was combating figurative fire in kind. Maybe if they joined forces they could talk down the champion-level? There was hoping.
Taking a step ahead, the digimon made another attempt. "We don't want to stifle your music, but it has the potential to be confusing. If humans come to harm, wouldn't that be a cause for alarm?" Honestly, and despite the fact that her partner was sighing at the distance, Mirrormon was enjoying this small competition. It felt way more fulfilling than just fighting.
"You've just said it, now there weren't enough people to hear your song, but you got to admit." A small pause, for emphasis. "Next time that may not be the case. We want you to be safe, and not all humans are as based."
Kasumi, on her stead... just stared at her unlikely partner of the situation. Pink spider seemed to be her type way more than Mirrormon, that wasn't that hard to guess; the redhead liked her attitude. She lowered herself a bit, just for the conversation to be less awkward before quietly replying. "To be honest, beats me. Hope you're ready in case this fails, though." Kasumi's doing nothin'.

The two continued their efforts, both of them rhyming in an attempt to placate the champion. Hideo felt much better with fighting the digimon in a battle of words than, say, a battle of weapons and attacks. It was a battlefield he was much more familiar with, and it was much easier to do good through a conversation than through a clash of claws.
And although their previous attempts ended in failure, this time, they'd receive a much more productive response from the Kiwimon.
The digimon started off with a sigh, before singing rather flatly. "♪You ask forgiveness for prying, yet you still insist on trying? Fine then: an answer I shall grant. Though it will be short: no long-winded rant.♪"
Ok, good. They were finally going to get somewhere.
"♪I sing for a reason, not just for the joy. And it is not as if I treat it as a toy. It is that I need it to work. And now I know it does, though it can be so much better. So even if a human is drawn and to danger they are drawn, I will still have the progress that I have sought.♪"
Finally, he was starting to open up. He sang for a specific reason, even if he didn't yet want to tell them what that reason was. As disconcerting as his lack of care for the humans affected was, if they could pinpoint what that reason was, maybe Hideo and Mirrormon could convince him to be more careful.
The child wouldn't let up. They got an inch - and now it was time to go the mile.
"♪A reason, you say? Don't be afraid to share. If it's a really big secret, then we'll keep it safe, I swear! But like he said, we want to keep people out of danger, whether we know them closely or they're just a stranger.♪"
Kumomon just hung back, listening while chatting with the Mirrormon's tamer. She liked this girl: willing to give her partner a chance, but more than ready to get down and physical if things went south. "Trust me when I say I've been ready. They seem to be peaceful right now, but I still don't trust this bird digimon. It's being too secretive for my liking."
