[nospaces] BANG BANG BABY I SHOOT RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEART [attr="class","ageha_text"] [break] Who said that maid cafes were only a thing in Akihabara? Ha. That would be an insult. Ever since it became a thing, cafes selling cute food served by cosplaying waitresses started sprouting left and right- like 7-eleven- all over Japan. Surprisingly though, this kind of restaurants never lose their charm and continued to get customers despite its painful redundancy. Ageha could most certainly vouch for that. [break][break] Dressed in a puffy pink dressed ornamented with frills, ruffles and ribbons, the girl stood along the counters with her back slightly pressed against its wooden surface. Her eyes were fixed on the cafe's interior: splashed with soft shades of pink and blue, and decorated with adorable furniture one would only see in old French movies. Sugar Kiss Cafe wasn't the only maid cafe around in Shinagawa, but it was the only one to boast a very legit vintage patisserie vibe. Not that she was bragging, but the rest of the maid cafes around were half-heartedly done at best, some just had to have mismatching mash-ups of eastern and western decours. Now, who would find that cute? [break][break] A shallow sigh escaped her pink-tinted lips as she tilted her head, fingers running through her curled twintails. It wasn't exactly how she planned to spend her Sunday, but she just couldn't say no when a friend asked her to help out in their business. She let out a soft grunt. Really, she didn't know this was what needed help, but then it wasn't as bad as it sounded or looked. It was actually kind of fun, if she had to say, even though the job was a bit demanding. It wasn't as if she had problems acting all cute and cheerful-- she needed to release that kawaii loli brewing deep inside her anyway. Plus, she'd be getting money so listening to people complaining or geeking out and the diabetes-inducing cuteness would be all worth it at the end of the day. [break][break] Ring, ring. [break] Sweet ringing from the chimes distracted Ageha from her thoughts, and brought her head up to the door being slowly pushed open. A bright smile curled up on her lips as she pranced her way towards the entrance, a tray held up against her chest "I'll get it!" She felt obligated to say it, even though everyone seemed already occupied with a task. A string of giggle left her lips before heaving in a mouthful of air, and with her cutest smile she posed for the potential customer. Yep, this was exactly what she signed up for. "Irrashaimase, goshujin-sama!" She chirped with an adorable voice, bowing her body slightly in what seemed to be a 75-degree bend. There were very few places that Kimura ventured into in Shinagawa, he didn't have much else to do there. Outside of going to their headquarters, the streets of Shinagawa were bland to him. Most of the people he wanted to see had already been seen and never did he want to spend enough time to be bothered on the street after it was already done. Some of these people were retarded, talking about gang shit right out in public like that. Just not the way to do it. Only way to cut down on the amount of dumbshits talking to you was to not be in a place where they nest. Hopefully, with having just left, everyone he needed to talk business with today was over.
It was time go home and relax, walking down the streets of Shinagawa in a rather specific path. Only other place he cared for here was just a couple of blocks down, a small shop that amused him. The young man hadn't been a usual in maid cafe fare, but it wasn't unlike him to walk into just this one. It was a dare a couple of years back, to try to successfully flirt with one of the waitresses. The most he got out of it was a very nice danish, the only reason he continued to visit there. They were far and few in between, given his diet and work out schedule, but just enough to memorize the faces of all the girls. That was the type of person he was, taking five minutes of their time to get a good impression of them.
This shop was pretty dope, to be honest. The decor and furnishings had this foreign feel about them, along with the dresses these workers wore. It had a certain. . . je ne sais quoi. As if there was someone telling him he could have cake. Almost Les Misérables. Just couldn't really put his finger on which country they were trying to emulate with these aesthetics. Not like it mattered, the pastries were delicious, all fillings made with actual fruit and home-made jams. There was nothing better than baked breads, especially those that were fresh from the pan.
Pushing the door open, the chime rang out with a quick response from one of the workers. Couldn't quite make out the differences in their voices, rather close to each other in both pitch and tone. Not like the enthusiasm wasn't well spent, it was exactly what the job required. Here he was, walking into the shop and being greeted by a girl he'd never seen before, even though there were more than enough recognizable staff members. Guess business has picked up, needing to hire more employees to keep everyone satisfied. Maybe now he could find something to do here rather than just eat and talk to workers, there was more potential.
Speaking of potential, there was this young girl standing in a bowed form, trying to catch his attention. Someone of his age, just barely entering adulthood, the portion of the populace that most represented the ability to change. People who would go on to decide which government officials are responsible for fucking them over. Either way, there was no reason for him not to introduce himself, "Hello there, don't think I've seen you here before. My name is Kimura." Taking in the sight of her, there was something interesting about her presentation. Weren't many braided girls in japan, to be honest, but there did exist that nice subculture that welcomed them with glee.
Lolita fashion, still something that the coal-haired male just couldn't get behind, at least not after a bunch of searching on google. It was hard to explain how you feel about people trying to act out and represent the ideology of a book. There was something about it that caused him to cringe emotionally but understand the viewpoint. Or, at least attempt to, having never read the book in which the fashion is based, Kimura couldn't quite peace together what exactly bothered him about it. Maybe what truly bothered him was ignorance or sloth, not taking the time to fully investigate once he'd gotten a basic answer. Possibly just a style she took up to match the rest of the girls, only thing she had on hand when she'd been hired.
Even though this person was new to him, there was still a reason he was here: bread. "If you don't mind, could you just bring me a surprise? Most of the food here is pretty good and I'm not picky," It was a simple request to make of this worker, wondering how she would take it. Some felt the need to not validate this type of order, instead asking that he do it himself. Wasn't quite as fun as the girl working there handing you what she thought was good, among this menu he had no complaints. After asking, he pulled up a chair to a nearby table, maintaining eye contact with her once he sat down. Anything he needed to respond to could wait until he was perfectly comfortable.

Hisan'na wasn't one to normally frequent places like this. Then again, he didn't really frequent anywhere. After all, who would want someone like Hisan'na around? But the boy had decided to have some tea, and this was the closest place he could find. The one perk of living with his family was that money wasn't really an option.
Though Hisan'na had never stepped into a maid cafe before. He'd heard of them, but half expected to be thrown out because of his appearance. After all, why would anyone want a pathetic thing like him ruining the atmosphere? Thankfully, this wasn't the case, as the hostess was distracted with another customer. Something about the guy seemed familiar, but Hisan'na could only see their back. The boy took advantage of the distraction and headed for a small table in the corner, out of the way.

Shit had hit the fan hard recently, and under the circumstances he found himself in, the average man would have probably bailed out of the city, maybe even the country.
He was pretty average, mind you, but entirely unwilling to go through all the effort of leaving the country undercover; even if he had been brazen enough to try and skip the country without any cover, he hadn't renewed his passport in years.
So what did he do, instead? Not much.
He had been young to have an ID when he first stopped going out of his home, and hadn't cared enough to acquire one when he finally began going out once again.
No social media accounts, nor any digital photos of himself, so unless the man managed to get a picture out of his family album, he was pretty confident he had nothing but maybe someone's word to base his appearance off.
So Toshiro had simply stopped dyeing his hair blonde, and forewent his usual clothing. After 2 years of blonde hair in the mirror, the unremarkable brown dye he had chosen to substitute his blonde still caught him by surprise in the morning.
Sporty clothing wasn't something he had worn since high school, so it was as good as anything to keep them from linking him by worded descriptions alone.
And if that didn't work, well... Good thing KoKabuterimon had been whipping him back into shape then. He was nearly back into shape, ready to... haul ass as soon as it seemed like things could go down.
Unfortunately, that was about as far as the young man was willing to exercise caution.
As shown by him entering a nice, clearly themed (though he had absolutely no idea as to what said theme was) maid cafe. The doorbell rang as he came in, and for a second, the young man stood at the entrance, glancing around the place casually.
He had told a friend to meet him at a nice little cafe that caught his eye to chat. She didn't enjoy the idea of maid cafes, but hadn't protested at all. He supposed the current situation didn't leave them with much choice.
He didn't find the familiar face he was looking for, though he did find another one. He was surprised to see the man who had saved him from getting a hole blown in his cranium speaking with one of the maids.
Looking exactly the same as he had back then. Huh.
He wasn't undercover, then? He supposed it was probably less dangerous for him, what with not being called out on the radio.
Man. Why did he even do things?
Either way, the blonde didn't think the man had seen much of him before, what with his hood being on and getting casually thrown aside by Eagleheart before the two immediately engaged into a fist-fight, so Toshiro could only hope all the changes to his appearance made him unrecognizable.
He approached the maid, stepping up to be besides him. "Hey there." He started, trying to be friendly. "May I request two menus, please? I'll be sitting over there." He said, gesturing at an empty table with two seats. "A friend should be here soon, so I hope it's okay if I take a table for two."

Man, life surely both exciting and intense, wasn't it? After the initial shock, Kasumi had become surprisingly okay with a certain radio message. Did that mean she didn't care? Well, more or less. The level of caution she had exercised was far from optimal, but she deemed it good enough. Given there was just no way in hell she was cutting or dying her hair, she had resorted to just using a brown wig and getting to use actual makeup over her usual, otherwise plain appearance. Guess she had been mistaken when she thought that learning how to would result in a useless endeavor.
Other than that, she was more or less chill with the whole situation. She had arranged to meet with an unlikely friend in a nearby café, and while those types of establishments weren't her type, the redhead guessed she could entertain the offering.
And soon enough, Kasumi found herself there, right past the food establishment's entrance. Seemingly, her time had been perfect; her friend was talking to one of the maids, and waiting to get seated; after walking right to his side, she waved in a friendly way to the waitress, assuming he had already asked for a table and those things.
"Good day." She said with a small smile as she waited for everything to be arranged. "I'm with the gentleman."

[nospaces] BANG BANG BABY I SHOOT RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEART [attr="class","ageha_text"] A pair of golden orbs. Ageha always had this weird habit of looking into people's eyes first. She couldn't recall how and when it started, but for as long as her memory could remember she'd been admiring eyes for quite some time already. What beautiful set of optics. Then, the rest followed. Black hair, tall, slender but muscular with a certain kind of air lingering around him that was both repulsive and attractive. A bad boy, if she had to say. [break][break]
Her smile grew when the dark-haired client greeted and introduced himself, and judging by the familiarity in his words, he must be a regular... Or so Ageha reckoned. She simply nodded to confirm his assumption "It's a pleasure to meet you, Master Kimura, please call me Ageha," she bowed once again, this time doing it properly "I just started today so please go easy on me," A string of light chuckles left her lips, hiding both her anxiety and excitement "But I'll do my best," It was the fourth time she said that line today. She wondered if the clients could hear the wear behind the glee. [break][break]
She was about to excuse herself so she could fetch him the menu, but instead, he took the liberty of ordering right away. A surprise. That was certainly new and kind of alarming. "Oh," She murmured, her eyes locked to his, still mesmerized by its beauty. Though, she couldn't help but to think. Had she seen these eyes before? [break][break]
"Hey, there" [break][break]
A gasp, soft enough to be kept a secret, escaped her throat upon being pulled back to reality, unexpectedly. The blonde turned her head only to be greeted by another client requesting for a menu. "Excuse me for a moment, Master Kimura," Her brows furrowed slightly, hoping that her unspoken apology reached him, before turning to the brunette "Certainly, Master," Giving him a small nod and then glancing at a nearby table "I'll bring them to you as fast as I can." Upon returning her gaze back, another customer made her presence apparent with a small smile to which Ageha returned "I'll note that, Princess," Of course, she was happy that there were a lot of customers but she wished they had more help. She heaved a shallow sigh as she watched the pair leave before turning her attention back to Kimura. [break][break]
"I'm sorry about that," It was an SOP for the maids to approach the clients, but there were times that some would just straight up walk to a busy waitress. It wasn't really a bad thing, but she thought it was kind of rude to serve two masters at once. She'd have to make up for that. "So, a surprise, isn't it?" It was unnecessary confirmation, only needed so that she could go back to the topic "If that's your decision then please leave it to me," She chirped and if one listened closely, they may hear a tiny squeak after her statement. Talking like you'd been mainlining a unicorn frappe wasn't an easy task. Fun, but exhausting. "I'll do my best to surprise you, Master ~" Hopefully, that worked-- something would work. [break][break]
Excusing herself and bowing to the black-haired once again, the maid walked her way back to the kitchen in a hurried phase while brainstorming for a good dish. As she passed tables, she caught sight of an unattended single-seater at one corner. Was that a female customer sitting all alone? Ageha made a mental note to check on her after everything had been done, though hoped that someone would assist her sooner. She didn't look so happy and that certainly needed fixing. All customers of Sugar Kiss Cafe must always leave with a smile on their faces! The relative ease with which he made his way to the table was expected. Only seemed to fill up after he got there, must've been approaching one of their busier hours. This is why you always check google, folks. Thankfully, he was just early enough that there was someone readily available to serve him, along with a false sense of enjoyment in doing so. The formalities he expected were there, but she was already showing her own unique personality, an unusual characteristic. Most of them put on an act for tips, but she seemed generally excited about what she woke up to do this day.
Then again, the young lady hadn't worked there long enough to grow a sense of resentment over their decision into this work experience. No reason to delude her perspective, if she wanted this, let her have it. Not like he came in with any plan other than to have a pleasant time, "Oh, don't worry too much. You fit right in." Not exactly a direct compliment, but her aesthetic wasn't too out of place among the other workers. Cute young girl, high school sweetheart-type, whether they were actually around that age or not was a different question entirely. A question the young man didn't care much to ask, it was irrelevant to what he had wanted here.
As he'd managed to find comfort in his seat, Kimura could notice that her stare lingered on longer than just the friendly hello. There was a slight smirk on his face that faded quickly once her attention was removed from him. Another customer made their way through with a simple question and a quick seating, similar to himself. It wasn't anyone he knew, so there wasn't much information he was paying attention to. Just a bit later came the next person, who joined the table with the earlier patron. It felt like more people came in, but the socialite just couldn't put his finger on whom.
Politely, the girl excused herself, the same manner in which all the workers here did. Didn't bother him any, a simple non-verbal nod to say it was okay. Much time hadn't been taken out of his day anyway, she came right back to him in a matter of minutes. Quick apology and an inquiry once again about his order, "Yep, wanna see what you'd like." Definitely filling into her role, though she was certainly running low on energy by constantly putting in so much effort. The enthusiasm was genuine, something the young man could admire much more than some of the other girls here.
Taking her leave, this only left Kimura to his own devices, not needing to keep his eyes on one person. Hanging one hand behind his head, the socialite grabbed it, pulling to help stretch his back and chest. During this time, he looked at all the others that'd been there. Some brown-haired male who seemed to be of his age, just keeping to himself and his company. A red-haired lass who seemed familiar, as if he'd seen someone like that recently. Lastly, someone with pink hair, of which there'd be relatively few people in that category. Hopefully not the one he'd seen around the same time as that red-haired girl. . .

As Hisan'na expected, the maid, nor any of the other staff even noticed he was there. While he was grateful for the lack of attention, it did make ordering drinks difficult. Still, he could wait, he was used to being neglected. Besides, he was more distracted by the new people coming in, as well as Kimura not that far. He knew the guy was with nightmare, and their last encounter was anything but pleasant. He expected the guy to walk over and beat him up the instant he saw him. The former blonde cocked his head to the side slightly as the maid left to get their menus, before he sideeyed Red with a smirk.
"Shall we take a seat, princess?" He said teasingly as he approached the tables, pulling out the chair for her like a 'gentleman'. "Your seat, m'lady." He reached for his non existent fedora, tipping it.
"You," He started as he rounded around the table, taking the seat across from her before propping his head onto the back of his palm. "Will not believe the crazy week I've had."
He hadn't heard much from her since Tenno had thrown them under the bus.
"Had to move out of my apartment due to a pest problem." He grumbled, fingers tapping onto the table. "And my parents are blaming me for it and not sending any money to help me get another apartment. I've had to stay on a cheap motel all week."
"'Bout the only good thing about this is how much work I've had to get done to pay all these new bills." he groaned, slouching against his seat.
While mostly an act, he was feeling the effects of all these sudden changes to his daily life. Having to suddenly use a large portion of his savings was not a nice feeling.
He had been stockpiling the money for when his parents finally kicked him out of their house. Tenno had managed to boot him out years before what the former blonde had estimated. How very Annoying.
"Ugh. Sorry for dumping my problems on you. How's your life been, anyways? School going fine?" All things considered, probably not.
He glanced back in the direction the maid had left for their menus. He wasn't particularly hungry, but KoKabuterimon had been annoying him for a treat the entire walk while inside his backpack.

This was annoying. Yellow was annoying; heck, the whole "princess" business was annoying. This maid café crash course hadn't even begun and it was already doing a pretty good job at confirming most of the stereotypes Kasumi had about it.
If glares could kill, her companion would be dead on the floor in that precise instant. He probably was enjoying himself, wasn't he? For now, he'd leave him be, but later... the revenge would be something she'd savor thoroughly.
She was almost literally seething at the gesture that followed, but decided to just sit down without making too much of a fuss. In all honesty, Kasumi was already wanting to know why she had been invited to this, and the result... disappointed her. A rant? Really? At least the teenager had given her some stuff to work with, so she couldn't complain too much about it.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say you're having a bad time. But it's obvious that you're kinda having a blast." She replied to his drawn-out speech, a slight smirk etched on her face. "What about your boyfriend, though? Figured He'd help you out if you're having a bad time."
Her face was serene as she kept on talking. "Anyhow. I've been more or less fine. Remember that new apartment I talked you about? I finished moving recently! Living on my own has been a bit of a challenge, but I've been fine thus far."
Wondering what she'd get to drink and/or eat, she gazed in the same direction than Yellow soon enough. "What about your pet, though? Hope those pests didn't mess that poor guy up. That'd be a shame."

[nospaces] BANG BANG BABY I SHOOT RIGHT THROUGH YOUR HEART [attr="class","ageha_text"] "Please get it ready for me! Thank you!" Ageha's exclaimed through a small window between the kitchen and the rest of the cafe. A faint positive reply came from inside that made her utter another thank you before grabbing three menus from the rack. She could have prepared the surprise herself and added more love, but recently, maids haven't been able to do that due to surging number of clients. Too bad. It was a thing she was excited about. [break][break] As she made her way, she almost walked past the single-seater with her eyes glued forward and mind focused on the pair at the other side of the cafe. "Oops," She muttered to herself, an apologetic smile pressing on her lips as she walked towards Hisan'na Meshitsukai . "Good day, Princess, thank you for waiting" She tried to sound as joyful as she could be. After all, they said that happiness was contagious and this person badly needed to be infected with it "Here's our menu," Picking the one in the middle- one that she marked and with a secret coupon inside- of the bunch she was holding, she handed it to the client with cheeky smile. Call her unfair, but things were never fair to begin with. Some people just needed more love than the other and that's a fact "Please call me once you're ready to order! Thank you!" With that, she excused herself to move on to the next clients. [break][break] Although the cafe wasn't exactly the biggest one around, navigating through it could prove to be hard when there were lots of... well, side-tracking. She had to stop by two tables with people asking for a refill or an additional order-- side quests she had to pass on to other maids as much as she hated to do that. Upon approaching Toshiro Emiya and Kasumi Iwamoto closer, Ageha heaved in a mouthful of air and shook the building pressure off her mind. Cute voice on, cute smile on. Let's go! "Thank you for waiting!" It was an attempt to steal their attention from their conversation, hopefully it wasn't too brash "Here are the menus," She chirped as she handed them out to each of them "Please do call me if you're ready to order," Giving them a firm nod before leaving for her last target.[break][break] The journey to the kitchen was easier this time, yet she took quite sometime making sure that hair was in place and skirt was still puffy like the pastries they sell. She wanted to look her best for him because... why not, right? [break][break] "You're still cute Ageha, get going," A smirk from the chef came as she took out a fancy looking silver tray and dome. [break] "Ehh ~!" Came a whine from Ageha as she collected the order. [break] "Did the master at table 3 catch your eyes? He's dashing, isn't he?" Her smirk got wider, and more mischeivous at that, making the amateur blush even harder.[break] "N-No way, I just want to look presentable," Puffing out her cheeks and furrowing her eyebrows, but that tint on her cheeks told everyone otherwise. [break][break] That upset face was sooner replaced by a delighted smile as she walked towards Kimura Kyōryoku . "Thank you for waiting, master," Her energy levels were so much different than those of the other customers. One could easily tell, if they watched her closely. Setting down the tray, she took off the dome cover revealing a plate filled with three glazed pastries and a red center along with tea served in a decorative chinaware. "Raspberry crown fit for a king paired with a hot cup of earl gray," She introduced her surprise as she set them up on the table. [break][break] But, Ageha wasn't done yet. Nope. The courage she'd been gathering was for something else-- for a tradition that older the older maids did. The trademark of the cafe and essentially why the place was called Sugar Kiss Cafe. It was really embarrassing, especially for a newbie but her mind was set. She'd do it. With an inaudible sigh, she began "W-Would you like those with a kiss, master?" The words left a bittersweet taste in her mouth with lips trembling, heart pounding and most definitely, face burning. It made the teen wonder: how could anyone be so confident saying all those words? As he was done stretching, the young man continued to wait patiently, wondering what this surprise was. Could it be a danish, a turnover, some kind of over-garnished croissant? Whatever it was, he could only expect it to be something nice, yet subtly sweet. With there being quite a few people, it was going to take time to get to his table, pulling out his smartphone. Kimura was the type of guy to get only the top of the line technology, which one could easily see with the phone he barely used. It was a bit odd though, at least for smartphones, owning a product that had been designed by such filthy people. The top companies at the time were Korean, unless you wanted that proprietary apple OS.
Soon, the doors that lead to the back half of the cafe, where the kitchen and register were, had opened. It seemed like this girl was the only server today, or at least until a specified time in which another would come to her aid. Oh well, he'd just have to remain where he was, checking the news and sneaking peaks at her. Her demeanor with some of the other guests weren't as perky, which came as no surprise. She'd placed her best efforts in one master and then was bombarded by a set of 3 more. After the menu distribution, the young lady had once again retreated to the kitchen, possibly for him.
During this time, Kimura continued to look up news and check the stock trade. There was this odd interest he held in this type of financial bargaining but, alas, the young man had no clue what was going on. What stocks were bearish or bullish, what the div/yield rate meant, exactly what moves they were taking. Trading was hard, especially without the ability to know when to jump in and when to jump out. That's why Nightmare had a different strategy, one he'd talked over with a bunch of people and planned on making use of. Just had to find the right company or its stock listing and do a bit of research.
She managed to come back right as he was done with an article he'd read over yet still knew nothing about. Looking up from his phone, the coal-haired male flashed a smile back at her, finally being 'surprised'. The look on her face seemed different, as if there were more color in her cheeks, but that might've just been from moving around so much. As she set down the tray, he waited expectantly as the cover was removed to find an exquisite set of pastries. In all his time here, he'd probably never seen something as fancy as this, applauding her skills. The top of his forefingers hit the butt of his palm gently, almost as though clapping for a good golf stroke.
"My, you are too kind," And possibly looking for a tip with such a nice display. Not like she made the wrong choice, someone probably told her he was a rather nice tipper. Youth was the time to make such economical mistakes, given all this dosh he had. She had yet to take her leave though, which made him bring his eyes back to her. Must have had something to say if she was going to stand there that long. Indeed she did, something he'd been asked before on his few trips here, having not quite expected it from someone so new to the business.
Now, she was definitely looking for a tip, but which one? If she was serious, there was no point in not giving her a chance, but she sounded hesitant. Deadly nervous over this whole thing as if she was unsure she even wanted it. Taking the tea cup and clasping it in his hands, the young man breathed over the surface of it slowly, chest rising and falling. It'd be best to give her some time to calm down, "How about this: please cover the pastries until you get back and get all those butterflies out of your system. Come back after you're done with all the other guests and you can come sit over there," There had been a seat directly across from him that he motioned to with his head.
Taking a sip from his tea, the warmth had filled his mouth and throat before passing through to his stomach. Quite a nice touch to the falling temperature outside, probably paired well with the raspberry paste that adorned the inside of those crowns. The soft bread would harden in no time if there wasn't a way to concern the heat, which is why he asked for her to cover it once more. An idea came across his head in the split second that he took the first sip, looking at her before she went with a soft, sly smirk. "Or, you could come sit on my lap," yet another slow breath across the surface, rippling through the liquid, "Either way works."

Hisan'na had been so focused on trying to avoid being noticed that he didn't notice the maid approaching him until she spoke. The boy jumped in surprise, half expecting harm to come his way. Instead he was greeted with a smile and a menu, before she left him. Though there was something wrong. She called him 'princess'. "Um, I'm..." he stammered softly. But she was gone before he could get it out. She had gone back to Kimura, who seemed to have her attention.
Of course...[/color]
Why would anyone want to pay him mind with people like him around. Why pay mind when there was anyone else around? Suddenly that smile seemed so false. She was probably paid to do that sort of thing after all.
The thought of it all reminded him of Kasumi. She had offered to be his friend, but since that meeting, he hadn't seen her. He even waited for their meeting and she didn't turn up. He should have known that everything she said was a falsehood. Who would ever want to be his friend?
Of course...
He opened up the menu and noticed something fall out. A coupon? What was that doing there? The maid must have put it there without realizing it. Not wanting to be a thief, Hisan'na put it to the side.

He supposed he had it coming, calling her princess and what not. Unfortunately, he didn't give a crap.
"That loser? He was a fling, not a boyfriend. Forget him, I'm done doing charity works." He said as he leaned back on his seat, a look of distaste on his features. He had become a bit of a better actor over the course of the past few weeks. "I ain't got the time or money to waste on that hot mess right now. In fact, I'll take a break from dating, period."
He had absolutely no idea of who they were even talking to in out of context, if they were even talking about anyone at all.
Their waitress came and went swiftly, offering them a smile and a menu before dashing off to deal with everything else. Poor thing was the only girl on duty at the moment, it seemed.
"Thank you." Responded the former blonde, humming as he looked over the menu lazily. He hadn't had a good, non-home made meal since the entire thing started, so just about everything in the menu sounded appetizing.
"So whatcha gonna be getting, Yellow?" Blonde really wasn't Red's color, but maybe that was just because he had gotten used to the unusual red tones. "I think I'll be going for some sweets. Every pastry in this menu sounds delightful."
The young man hummed as he tried to subtly roll his gaze over the patrons of the restaurant, watching out for any busters or known figures that may have walked in.
He couldn't recognize anybody but Eagleheart's boxing 'buddy'. No, wait, that wasn't right. On the corner, away from everyone else, was a face that he had seen in passing. In passing as in while running in desperation hoping to dodge the Hyper Laser Blast.
He had no idea of who the heck he was, beyond being one of those fighting Eagleheart. If his memory didn't fail him, and it never did, he was also one of the few still conscious by the end of the fight. Must have been one skilled tamer.
"Hey Yellow. Isn't that at your school?" asked the former blonde in whisper, tilting his head subtly towards the lonesome tamer. Was the tamer here just to eat something, like them, or was he seeking them out? It was silly to think like that; it wasn't like the world revolved around them or anything, but it couldn't hurt to be cautious.

Taking it in stride, huh? Kasumi could appreciate the sense of humor, even going as far as to take the joke in stride. "I see. Well, I'm not gonna say 'I told you', but I told you, mate. That guy was just worthless."
But them, the menus arrived. "Thank you." Her gaze went directly to the menu, staring it lazily until she found one or two things she liked and finally setting it down. She had to admit, being one of the few maids in charge of this thing seemed more or less like slavery. Luckily, the customers didn't seem to be all that demanding.
"Hm?" She was a little confused at the sudden change of nickname, but she supposed it was more or less due. Weren't they gonna use actual names, though? Eh, she could roll with it anyway. "I prefer salty over sweet, in all honesty, soo... I think I'll have a sandwich and a smoothie. Aren't you going to drink anything, Brown? Not even coffee or tea?"
She wasn't as interested in the people currently in the café as her companion, but she guessed she could spare a look at the teenager's remark. Oh wait; that was Hisan'na, wasn't him? Huh... this was super awkward. She hadn't been able to get back to him since the last time they met, given... well, that she had changed phone numbers without even bothering to get her agenda. He probably blamed her for abandoning him, well, unless he heard the news. Everyone had heard the news, right? That's why she was using this lame disguise in first place.
"Yeah, actually..." She mentioned, somewhat more serious than her usual tone. "I'd like to talk to him at some point. Kind of a friend, I guess? At least if you don't have into account his pet, that is."
