EV01 - Nova Meteor "Boss, are you sure about this?" Grimes asked as he followed his partner. Hyde was looking around as he walked. This wasn't the simple aimless wandering Hyde normally did. This time Hyde was looking for something. "Yes Grimes, I'm sure. I'm not sitting by while that egotistical shit ruins a couple of lives." "But Boss, aren't they terrorists?"Hyde spun around to face his partner. "Those charges are bullshit and anyone with half a braincell can see that." Hyde scowled, "That arrogant asshole's goons messed up, and now he's trying to save face. Well, to hell with that I say!" He turned and began walking, his partner following. "But Tokyo's huge! How do you expect to find them?" Hyde smirked, holding up his digivice. "Well, this for one's a plus. Those kids have digivices of their own, so that should let me track them. Plus any digimon fights that break out would be an indicator. After all, the busters are after them too." Though he honest to god hoped that he would find them before the busters did. |

The Nakano ward was as good as any other for them. The former blonde/Redhead Duo had been rather careless and lazy in the way they chose to hide from the busters, not finding them or their leader to be particularly threatening.
Toshiro, who had never really gone too far from home, had decided that it was as good a time as any to start exploring his surroundings, seeing how he was pretty much required to be on the move constantly nowadays. Brown hair was still weird to look at on the mirror, but he was getting used to the sporty clothing at least.
He and Red got along surprisingly well as partners in crime, considering their first few, less than friendly interactions. She seemed to be willing to indulge his less than careful habits and even accompanied him on his trips occasionally.
Nakano had quite a few things to offer to a geek like him; the aptly, if uncreatively named 'Otaku Building'was filled with arcades, toy, specialty and trading card shops. Between every single thing that managed to catch the young man's attention, it was already early evening when his hunger finally managed to pull him away from the arcades.
"You hungry, Red?" He asked his companion, yawning. It had been a while since he had slept as much as he preferred. He was only very slowly getting used to this. "I'm gonna get something to eat. Want anything?"

Kasumi was starting to get used to this unwilling lifestyle. Sure, it wasn't as comfortable as the one before it, but it wasn't much she could do about it. Being on the run was somewhat harsh, just like the fact that she couldn't go to school anymore. If anything, she missed the greco-roman wrestling club terribly. But on the other hand, this had proven to be way easier than what she thought. Being "public enemy number one" as that ass 10hoe had put it didn't even make her feel that threatened. It was funny, but at this point, she even thought that the couple of semi-decent measures both her partner in crime and her took were even a bit too much. Oh well. Who could say that a blonde wig and some makeup could do so much to change one's appearance. Or maybe the Busters were simply too inept. These outings weren't anything super special but they were certainly fun, and getting out of the apartment she had rented was enough of a reason to accompany Yellow outside. Especially since he had gotten progressively less annoying and actually began having friendly gestures with her. She could appreciate that. Looking back at him after he asked that question, she seemed a little pensive at the question. "Guess I'm up for..." Her gaze wandered until it collided directly with a small post selling them. "Some nikumans. What char gonna get?"

EV01 - Nova Meteor The Nakano Ward, you would never find amore colorful hive of nerdiness and geekdom. To be honest, Hyde wasn't even sure if they would be willing to come to somewhere this crowded. While he didn't have a lot of respect for the Busters themselves, that didn't mean Tenno was above using his resources to get them by other means. And then there was random citizens who might decide to go vigilante on them. With any luck, they at least were smart enough to disguise their appearance. As he walked down the street, a light vibration in his pocket caught his attention. He slipped his hand into his pocket, confirming his suspicions. His digivice was reacting to something. And judging from the lack of ominous fog, a digimon wasn't biomerging into the area. He looked around, his single eye scanning the street. Nobody immediately stood out, until his eye fell on a pair standing by a post selling...Nikumans? He couldn't get a clear look at them from where he was, but there was something about them. Better keep an eye on them for now. He couldn't approach them until he was absolutely sure. |

"Nikuman sounds good, actually." He said, reaching into his pocket for the chas. "This outing was my idea, so my treat."
That, and he wasn't sure if Red had a source of income at the moment. She was a high school student after all, for all he knew, she was currently running on her savings from her allowance.
He went ahead and came back a few minutes later, carrying a two bags with their treats. He was looking up at the sky.
"Say, Red. The weather is particularly nice today, isn't it? Not a single cloud in sight."
He commented, as he gestured with his head for her to follow him.
"The shop owner said there was a tea shop nearby." He commented, as he handed her the bag.
"It's a few ways away, but we can cut time through a few alleyways. Wanna go?" He said. He lead them into the relatively narrow alleyway.

Well, it wasn't like Kasumi had new money problems, but if the guy wanted to treat her, she wasn't refusing free money. It'd take him a couple moments, but the treats were delivering, prompting the slightest smile to appear for a split second on the redhead's face.
Nikumans were delicious, after all. Right after him, she looked at the sky in tow; even if the night was already descending upon them, she had to admit that the sky was beautiful. Not out loud, however. "Yeah, weather's been p good as of late. Tad weird for this season, right?"
She was sure that at this point, it should be raining or something, but it wasn't like she could complain about the good weather. Going right behind him, she nodded at his proposal. "Haven't had some good o' oolong in a pretty good while; sure thing, mate. Let's go."
She didn't oppose on cuttin' time through the alleyways either. It only made sense they took the quickest route to enjoy their treats before those got cold.

EV01 - Nova Meteor Hyde kept quiet, and kept his eye on the pair. Once they had gotten their snacks, they started heading down a nearby alleyway. Without a word, Hyde followed. He had a feeling these two were the folks he was looking for, and he was not going to let them slip by him. Nobody seemed to bat an eyelid as he followed the pair into the alleyway. Otakus, lost in their own little world. It seemed the pair were sticking to the allies. A good thing in this case. Not only did it at credence to Hyde's theory, but it gave him a chance to approach them without there being a crowd. Well, here goes. "Emiya. Iwamoto."That's it. Just a simple declaration of their names. It was more to see how they reacted. That would be the clear indicator of wether these two were the ones he was after. |

Well, that didn't take long. When his own D-arc had started throbbing in his hoodie's pocket, he had wondered if he should be worried.
The weather was clear, so it hadn't been an emerging digimon. So it was a tamer. Passerby or hunter? Well there was an easy way to draw out an incompetent hunter.
Still, he was surprised they had actually been followed into the narrow alleyway. The hunter was not bothering to be terribly subtle, calling them out seconds within walking into the enclosed space.
Was he really that confident? Maybe he wasn't a hunter at all? Toshiro wasn't particularly worried either way. So long as this person had nothing to do with the bloody eye, they would probably do fine.
"Hmm?" The blonde hummed, looking nonplussed as he turned sideways on his heel to get a better look at the man who had called them out.
The eye-patch made him wonder if Tenno had actually gone ahead and gotten a contract Bounty Hunter on their ass.
He leaned slightly towards Red, whispering just loud enough for the other man to catch it.
"Rin-chan, I think we are getting mugged." he said, moving to stand in front of her slightly.
"What do you want? I don't have any money for you, punk." He was impressed with himself. He hadn't cracked up and started laughing at all the crap he was saying yet. His Oscar award when?

This was a pretty interesting situation. Had somebody been following them? Kasumi wasn't sure on what to make out of this; not because she didn't know how to deal with the situation at hand, but mostly because of how bad was she at playin' the damsel in distress role. Why the dude had to step in between? Oh well... beggars can't be choosers, she guessed.
"Do we really have to deal with this?" Funnily enough, the message was intended for both males. Especially since Yellow's act was mediocre at best. "I'm afraid you're mistaken, mister. None of us are Emiya nor Iwamoto; this gentleman's Kotomine and I'm Satou. Do you have any business with us, or can we just keep on walking? Our food is growing cold."
Given that none of the two could directly see her, they'd just hear the characteristic sound of a pair of knuckles being cracked. Who could've been?

The girl trying to cover their identities came too little to late. "See? She gets the right idea."At the sound of cracking knuckles coming from, he assumed, Iwomata. "You all can chill out though. I ain't with Tenno's little goon squad, and I'm not trying to cash in on some reward either. Quite the opposite actually. I want to help you kids out." The former blonde pouted at Red, clicking his tongue while shaking his head at her in clear disappointment.
If Red was just going to actually respect a Buster's intelligence and not lie through her teeth to them, he may actually have to take some walks alone.
"I'm not taking you on my midnight walks, Red." He grumbled, taking a step back to be besides her once again. He looked over the man before them, this time focusing on his expression and body language.
There wasn't much to say; the man's smirk, coupled with the eye-patch look, didn't instill much confidence in the former blonde. Judging a book by its cover was usually the wrong way to go, but until he got some insight on the guy's real character, he would have to roll it.
"Well, since Red here skipped right to the boring part. Why exactly do you want to help us again, Eyepatch?" He asked, tilting a thin brow at the man. There was nothing to gain from helping them. He didn't know about Red, but he didn't make himself any illusions of 'clearing' his name. It was their word against the MegaCorp's, with all the hard evidence piled against them.
"Tenno's incompetent goons aside, he did manage to make us national terrorists, so actual authorities like the police are also looking for us. I don't mind cracking some buster's skull, but I don't wanna have to sick a digimon on someone just doing their job. Going to need a good reason to 'chill out' and trust you." There were so many reasons they would be best off not trusting anyone but each other, after all.

Apparently, sarcasm hadn't been that easy to convey. Not that Kasumi cared; at this point, she was more or less curious about what the guy had to say, and if he really meant well or if he just wanted to instill into them a false sense of security.
However, Yellow seemed to have taken the wheel for this one; he probably had made all the relevant questions, and there wasn't much she could do to add to the conversation, except to wait for Hyde's answers, that is; guy seemed to be plain weird, and why he'd have reasons to help them? If anything, they were wanted criminals and the "public enemy number one" as Tenno had put it.
Guess that she could prepare in case this was some sort of coordinated ambush. She gave a quick look at her surroundings, not noticing anything suspicious nearby, and hoping that goons weren't amassing on either end of the hallway.

Hyde really couldn't blame them for being paranoid. Hyde wasn't exactly the most honest looking individual out there, and even if he was, random guy turning up claiming he wanted to help? He couldn't blame them for smelling a trap.
When asked why he wanted to help, Hyde leaned against one of the walls. "Two reasons. First and foremost, you're innocent. I saw that 'incrypted' message Tenno spoke of. Confession my ass. He probably wouldn't have known of the bomb if you two didn't say anything." His eye narrowed and he growled in anger, "That fuckstick Tenno has no right dragging your names through the mud like that, because he and his goons messed up." He pushed himself off of the wall, letting out a frustrated grunt before that smirk returned to his face,"And the second. Any opportunity to piss off said fuckstick is alright with me."
He looked over the pair. "I don't expect you guys to trust me. I mean, look at me. But in your situation, you need all the help you can get. I mean, how are you guys getting by on money? Living accomodations. I doubt you guys can go on by yourselves much longer."
"I for one am offering you that, some additional muscle, and some directions we can go to getting you out of this mess."

It was hard to know if the guy was being truthful. Their ENCRTYPE chat with the emperor had been open to just about anyone, still was, in fact. But it was strange that someone would be willing to help them just because they were innocent.
After all, who the heck helped others just to be a good samaritan in this day and age? Was this guy really willing to put his own neck, his own reputation on the line just to one up Tenno?
... Well Toshiro himself probably would have, but he had a pretty large bias against Tenno currently.
The second problem with the guy's offer was that it failed to be tantalizing to him. Toshiro wasn't in a tough spot at the moment. Not economically anyways. Being declared a terrorist had forced him into using his personal savings, but so long as he could keep programming, his patreons would continue handing him the money he needed.
He didn't know how Red was handling herself, though. Maybe she could use some economical help?
"I guess if we were average highschoolers, you would be right." He commented while scratching at his chin, "I dunno about Red here, but to be honest, I ain't lacking in money or place."
The young man turned towards Red, whispering.
"What do you think? It's a bit sketchy, but I wouldn't mind exchanging some contact info." He said. "Having more allies to call onto can't hurt, specially if we'll be having to deal with Tenno's punks on a daily basis. And..."
He tiled his head slightly.
"Someways to get us out of this mes. As in, clearing our names." That was of particular interest to him.

This conversation genuinely felt like it had a spare participant, and in this case, Kasumi would dare to say it was just her. Granted, there were some details that just could be answered by her, but most of this conversation could probably go unimpeded without her presence.
Welp, at least she could still give some input. "Guess yer right. Right now, I guess I'm in not in the position to deny any help." A small shrug finished her sentence. To be honest, she wasn't trusting this guy yet, but this was a ripe situation to just capture them and hand them over to Tenno, and the guy didn't look like he was doing any motions to do so. Maybe he was sincere? Guess she felt like taking the risk.
Her response to Yellow was just to nod. This probably was worth a shot; and frankly, what was the worst that could happen? "Sure, let's try."
Stepping right beside her companion, she began to speak. "So, what do you propose to do? Tenno has his band of baboons and the law at his back and probably more money than any of us will ever see. Help's appreciated, but without a plan, we're probs not gonna last long anyway and... you're kinda doomin' yourself by helping us? So yeah, let's hear what you gotta say."
For one, she wasn't sure the Busters or 10hoe cared about them clearing their names or anything of the like. It was so clear they were scapegoats in this kind of situation it wasn't even funny.
