It seemed that the kids weren't short on funds right now, which was a plus. But Hyde still decided to keep the offer on the table if they ever needed it in the future. The two talked it out between themselves before Iwamoto decided to agree to it. Hyde smiled.
"Glad to hear it kids." He said, as he started pacing back and forth, "Last problem first, getting Tenno's goons off our ass for a bit shouldn't be too hard. Tensions between the Busters and Nightmare are stretched thin. We cause that tension to snap, and Tenno's got a gang war on his hands. That should keep the Busters off of you, at least for a little while." They may not even have to do anything for that one.Nightmare looked like they were ready to pounce on the Busters any minute.
"As for clearing your names, we have two possible routes to take. The first is proving to everyone that Tenno's a lying sack of shit. Logs from that encrypted chat wont work though. We'll need some real hard evidence. Though this would have to most likely be taken from Tenno himself. Not an easy task, but if we pull it off, Tenno and the Buster's rep will be ruined."
"The other path is find the real assholes behind the bombing, kick their ass and bring them to justice. You guys look like heroes, and Tenno looks like a dumbass. Win win." Hyde stopped and smirked. "And we may have a possible lead on that. You guys remember that symbol you showed, right?"

"Let me stop you right there." The blonde interrupted Hyde, his lax expression replaced by a sharper gaze.
"I am not going to be looking into that Symbol." He stated bluntly, his tone booking little place for argument. "If I had a death wish, I would have marched to the Buster's Tower on my own by now."
He had absolutely no intention of tangling with whatever group Eagleheart prowled the streets with. The man and his digimon had absolutely destroyed a good chunk of Nightmare's ranks, as well as their leader, not to mention all those others that had tried to jump into the action, while completely on their own.
And Toshiro was fairly sure the Canadian was neither the leader, nor the strongest guy in whatever the group was.
"We'll find that hard evidence." He hadn't believed earlier that there was any, but if the only options they had left were that or tangling with the Society of the bloody eye, whatever the fuck their name was, then Toshiro would gladly turn the entirety of Tokyo upside down to find evidence, even if he had to fabricate it.
"We'll focus on that while the Nightmares keep Tenno occupied. Now, let's get a move on, talking about this in detail out in the open is just a bad idea."

As funny as the guy's suggestions were, Kasumi agreed with Yellow. Wholeheartedly.
"Tensions are brewin' up, aren't they? Well, that's kinda to be expected. Kenshin was murdered in cold blood and Tenno didn't even blink at it. The fact that the Busters are hunting is probs the perfect reason for Nightmare to intervene. That's kinda how gangs behave, I guess? Blood for blood business."
That could mean one or two things, in all honesty. Nightmares being loosely on their side was something that could give them a moment of respite. Or... that would cement their profiles as criminals. One of the two.
"Cleanin' our names would be for the best, even if that's probably an uphill battle against a corporate giant. Tenno picked us up to be his playthings, and if we have to live on the run, might as well give him a run for his money, amirite? I don't know what Yellow thinks 'bout this, but I'm bent on eventually doin' it. Whether actual justice or petty vengeance, I couldn't care less at this point."
Trying to ruin a life without even batting an eye was something that made the guy undeserving of any pity she could've felt towards him.
"But I agree with him over here than messin' with these red-star-eye guys is a bad idea. One of their members managed to dispatch a whole contingent of Nightmares, leader included yanno? That's not the most comfortin' thought over here. And... I also agree with this dude on that discussin' the actual details in an alley is kinda bad idea. So... shall we?"
She motioned at the other end of the alleyway and began to walk. With any luck, the nikumans hadn't grown cold yet,

Hyde quirked an eyebrow at how quickly these kids jumped onto the decision to go after Tenno, rather than the ones behind the bombing. Guess it was better facing the evil you knew, rather than the evil you didn't know. Still, Hyde had some curiosity about this group, but it looked like he was going to be going at that alone. He wasn't going to drag these kids into something they didn't want to do.
But first, they should get out of here. What they would need to do would require some VERY illegal activities, and talking about it out in the open was a rather stupid thing to do. Hell, their previous conversation was something risky in and of itself, though circumstances permitted little else. The three of them started heading out of the alleyway, back out into the streets. Nobody seemed to pay any notice to them.
"So, where to? My place or yours?"

The former blonde was just glad Red agreed. With how all around ballsy she seemed to be, he had been sort of expecting her to think him a chicken. Perhaps she knew what the better part of valour was.
Thankfully, Hyde was willing to just go along with their wishes and not push to investigate the bloody eye symbol.
Double entendres aside, definitely nobody's place. "It may be best to stay away from our homes. Yours included." If Hyde had found them on just a hunch, somebody else could, as well.
Leading possible hunters to their refuges would be a mighty dumb way to get captured. "Anywhere inconspicuous is fine."
"Nobody has any reason to pay attention to us. So long as we keep it that way, we can talk about this anywhere." They just needed to be careful with their words. Wouldn't do for an eavesdropper to be their undoing.
He turned on his heel, in the same direction they had been walking towards before Hyde revealed himself.
"We were on our way to a tea shop before." He said, holding up his bag of Nikumans "Tag along with us. May as well talk about this over a drink. We were going to a tea shop a few blocks from here before. But I'm changing those plans. There's a tea shop a bit far from here. It's rather remote though, in a sense. It should serve us fine."
It had been a while since he had drank some tea at Oyecomova. Would Chousen be around when they got to there? It would probably be good to give the Lizard digimon an update, if he hadn't heard the news already.

Nothing else to be said; if anything, that simple question had been given way too much of an answer to Hyde. A residence was probably the worst idea on a place to go, given that was pretty much askin' for whoever could follow to them to give an exact location.
Not to say, her nikumans were growing cold. Kasumi took the initiative and began to walk towards the tea shop; whatever this guy wanted to tell them, that place would probably be good enough. True question was, however...
What'd be their real plans? Runnin' and donning silly costumes would probably be okay for a while, but it probably wouldn't be enough in the long run. Soon enough, they'd forced to fight for their lives and... would Mirrormon be able to handle that kind of pressure? This would be harder than any challenge they had faced before.
And... she frankly wasn't sure of it.

Hyde gave a small nod at Emiya's plan. While Hyde wasn't much of a tea man himself, it at least was somewhere nice and quiet where they could talk. As the three of them walked, nobody paid the three any mind. There were enough weirdos walking around that a tall, one eyed man walking with a pair of teenagers didn't seem out of place. Call it a small stroke of luck.
About fifteen or so minutes later, the three would arrive at the teahouse. A small, somewhat secluded place. Not many people there, which would give the three some privacy. The three were able to get a table off to the side to themselves, granting them some privacy. A waitress quickly came and took their orders, Hyde offering himself a coffee. Once she was gone and out of earshot, Hyde leaned in a little.
"Ok, first thing's first. We gotta work out what we're working with. We all have digimon, and if you surviving Eagleheart's attack is any indication, you ain't rookies either. I've been doing this for a while myself, but it doesn't hurt to see just what each of us is capable of."[/color] A proper assessment of their abilities would give him a clearer idea on how to move forward.

The young man hummed, leaning his head onto his hand.
Even Red didn't know what he was fully capable of. Which sounded incredibly arrogant and full of itself; but it was just the reality of it. He and Red hadn't exactly fought together yet.
They had fought alongside each other against Eagleheart, but even that was pushing the meaning of the word. He hadn't really seen her or Mirrormon in action, and he doubted she had seen much more than him getting casually thrown aside.
"I like to think I can handle myself in a fight if I have to, but I would rather just run." He responded with a shrug. "Surviving Eagleheart was just luck, at least on my part. My partner wasn't there when we fought him, and the man got punched in the face by some nightmare dude and got pissed off. He pretty much just ignored everyone else after that to get into a fist fight with the guy, so only his digimon partner was fighting everyone else. Cept for me; I had been close when it happened, and Eagleheart used a card to shield himself and the guy from further attacks. I happened to be within the shield's range, so I pretty much just sat out most of the fight." He was underplaying his role a bit, but not much. His Renamon hadn't really done too much damage to the Vemmon.
He could try and brag about a few of the rare cards he had, or his blue card which very few tamers seemed to have yet, but he still wasn't sure about this guy. Sure, one could say it was necessary to know what your allies were capable of, but that didn't make the request for info any less sketchy.
"I don't really have many attack cards on my Deck. Mostly just utility and supplementary cards." True enough. He only had one 'attack' card, and it was an equip. It wasn't like he actually used his rares. They hadn't been needed yet and they took space on his deck needed for other, less niche cards.
"I think Red here can benchpress a car and suplex a Gorilla, but I may be underplaying her strength." He said casually as he gestured towards the Red head, before standing up and going to the blind owner of the store, ordering some tea for himself.
"Want something, guys? Other than tea, there's coffee and some soft drinks."

Like any Japanese, Kasumi had been educated in the culture of appreciating tea; being one of the most ancient and finest beverages there could be there, she made sure to at least get a good cup of oolong before they got to business.
And that's where she returned to normal. "I'll agree with Yellow over 'ere when it comes to that Canadian." She said, bluntly. "He was way out of our league, and the fact that his partner didn't even evolve before giving us that sound trashin' speaks volumes of what that guy is capable of doing. Worst part is that I've been thinkin' about it, and chances are he has peeps behind him as well, not to say that he probs ain't the biggest fish in that pond.That's... scary."
If anything, the redhead wasn't one to use that word lightly; being the almost reckless person she was, the word 'fear' had some weight on its own when pronounced by her. "I'm not afraid of fightin' tho. My partner's a bit of a wuss, but if he really has to do it, he's a devil. Honestly, I don't wanna fight losing battles, so... runnin' might be the smart choice here." That was a sad truth; as much as she wanted to kick some Busters asses to the next week, it was probably suicide to engage them head-on. "At least for now. I'm confident we'll be able to engage them on our own terms sooner rather than later. Specially if they're zealous at searchin' for us."
She didn't mention the contents of her deck or responded to Yellow's claims about her strength, mostly because she found those pieces of info to be not relevant at the moment. "What's hurtin' us the most at the moment is our lack of a general plan, I think. Peeps are bound to find us sooner or later, and if we hadn't made any progress towards either kickin' Tenno's ass or convincing everyone we're innocent, then I guess we won't last long."

Hyde nodded as the two explained their capabilities, though clearly keeping some things close to their chests. He could understand that. They preferred to run rather than fight. "I getcha. Taking Tenno head one isn't the smartest move. We gotta be smart about this."
He paused when the waitress approached them. "I'll take a coffee, with some cream if possible." He knew it would cost a little more, due to how dairy was in Japan, but he could afford it. Once she had taken their orders and left, Hyde turned back to his two 'partners'.
"Which is why we need some subterfuge. If there's any evidence proving your innocence, Tenno has it in Buster Tower. And with the Busters contending with Nightmare, nobody's going to notice the three of us slipping in through the back. I ain't saying it will he easy, and we need to prepare for it, but it's our best bet on finding anything."

"One has to wonder if there's any evidence at all." Probably nothing beyond the chat logs, which weren't exactly absolving, since they technically did confess to sending the bomb his way. Their reasoning probably wouldn't help them at court.
"Tenno needed an scapegoat after the whole fiasco and we gave him one by messaging him. But I doubt he had reason to document any of this." Tenno wasn't as dumb as they liked to pretend he was, unfortunately.
"So what does that leave us with? Hope for a confession? 'Cause he ain't that dumb. He won't slip and confess by accident or any of that junk. Not while we are anywhere close. He'll just keep laying on the self-righteousness thick for the cameras." Red had a point.
Tenno wasn't a cartoon and they weren't his mortal enemies, they were just a means to an end. The man probably didn't give a shit about them and definitely didn't go around gloating about how he fucked them up good. They couldn't just tape a recorder under his desk and hope the words they wanted came tumbling out of his mouth.
"It's beginning to look like-"He really didn't want to say it.
"We'll probs have to beat the confession outta of him." Pointed the redhead out almost nonchalantly. Hearing it from someone else was even worse than saying it.
"-That, yes." And wasn't that just terrifying. Nevermind Tenno himself, who was likely just barely under Eagleheart, if at all, but all the goons they would have to get through to get to him, not to mention the bad press they would surely get for trying. "This is gonna be a real pain of a campaign isn't it."

And so another idea was thrown onto the table. Beating Tenno into confessing. While the thought of beating his smug ass was appealing, it was anything but practical. Hyde shook his head. "That would just make things worse. Tenno can easily spin it to make you guys look worse, and that's not even considering how strong the guy is." Fighting the guy was out of the question for now. But that did bring up a thought.
"You guys mentioned a lack of evidence, right? That could apply to condemning you as well. Like I said before, anyone who read that incrypted chat could tell it wasn't a confession, so I doubt Tenno turned it in. That leaves only his word on the matter, UNLESS he falsified evidence." He leaned in close. "It may be plausible that Tenno's not holding any evidence, but we can be sure either the police or the news outlets do. They'd have to. Otherwise they have no case against you guys. So, we're either looking for a). Falsified evidence, or b). Proof that Tenno may have greased a couple of palms to get you guys on the the wanted list."
He went quiet and sat back as the waitress came with their orders. He gave her a polite nod and thanked her before she left. He turned back to the two and smiled. "What do you guys think? We may be able to avoid having to slip into Buster Tower, at least for now."
