When it comes to gambling some say she is a sadistic woman, feeding off of ones despair and fright; hell, even their courage. It get's her excited, the desire to be filled with lust the moment she is to crush them. Though her lust is kept hidden quite easily, reserved when it comes to exposing her sadistic side. She is goal-oriented and thus must not allow herself to be seen within such a disgusting manner. She is the daughter of a refined woman whom was the cause of whom she became today, so can you blame her?
[break][break]
Talented, it's because of her multitude of skills that she is seen as a prodigal child capable of becoming someone of great success. Many see her to be intimidating due to a "resting bitch face," but is very sweet and modest when it comes to meeting new people who compliment her upon her looks. Secretive, it's a must she maintains her social life away from her life as a member of Nightmare.
[attr="class","nightmare_head"] PERSONALITY
Analytical, carrying herself with a ruby gaze that pierces ones movement; sight and mind never falter when synced. Those who interest, or even have almost a slight chance of doing so, will catch her gaze often. Taking in every aspect of their being and movement, she is herself an athletic fighter. At her old school she was seen as a scary girl for her capability within Mixed Martial Arts. Thus making her time in school even more harder than it need be. Kindhearted, she is only sympathetic to those of adolescent or pre-teen years. Those who are her age obtain no sympathy, only if you catch her interest of course. Childlike, she possesses the thought process of a madwoman, enamored with the thought of what one is capable of and if they're willing to take risks. She enjoys a risk-taker such as herself, someone who can challenge her own conviction with theirs through a gamble of sorts. [break][break]

In her mind she convinced herself that by not seeing her mother was she receiving love from a distance, never questioning her reason why. It was lonely, and she never knew as to what became of her father. It was never easy to make friends at school either during youth as a preteen; it was all too hard. But she held a face still as any other, partaking in physical activities in order to stay on top of what she felt made her mother possibly, in some wretched way, love her. Though the little hearings of "I love you," were scarce; it was deep within her mind that this was the proper way to receive it.
[break][break]
Though the day she had been sent away was the day she became broken. She didn't understand why or what her mother's reasoning was for; whether this was her way of showing even more love or wanting better, it secretly wasn't what she wanted. Asami had never been too great with expressing her wants or desires, and to disobey her mother would be the absolute worst. She was but so young, wanting to blame the distance she felt from her mother on herself and the absence of her father even more. Had she been born as a curse? It wasn't fair, and it was too much to weigh upon such a child. So the moment she had been sent away was the last she saw of her mother once that door closed. Taking everything with her to both her new school and home, leaving but all of one thing behind: the love for her mother.
[break][break]
Once she'd entered her new school she met her very first, or rather best friend even, as her roommate: Kokoro "Koko" Momobami. It was because of Kokoro did Asami feel close to someone for once, the fact that she felt out of place no longer was because of her friend Koko. Beautiful, kind, gentle, nurturing, and sweet, she was everything Asami could have asked in a sister. She wondered at times though, had she been blessed with someone such as Kokoro in her life before...would her loneliness never come to be?
[break][break]
It wasn't until rumors about a group known as "Nightmare" began to run amuck in school. Then talk of "Digimon" at that. She wasn't aware of what any of that meant, none of it. Until one day she heard a loud scream. Upon a building portion of the school did someone paint spray the insignia that which belonged to the ragtag group known as Nightmare. She wasn't sure as to what this meant or if the rumors of recruitment were true. But during the onslaught of fear, after having seen the insignia, did she come to meet a random male student who began to talk to her about the occurrences and rumor. During their talk outside within the school's garden did the male began his explanation to her about the ideal of Nightmare. Whether this was his personal belief or not, they were but individuals ridding themselves of oppression by destroying the system. She wasn't sure as to what the male meant and only found him to be but an anomaly, unable to understand as to what he was on about. Thus the two parted ways for now as he left her with a multitude of questions to inquiry about the act of "oppression," shackles that chained one down with beliefs that they were but mere pawns in the world of man; children of war little did she know.
[break][break]
One day did a scream come to emerge. The sight of what was something she did not understand herself, watching as her best friend Kokoro stood upon a rooftop within their school. Her right arm, bleeding, leaked but droplets of red from above. It wasn't known to Asami, but it was the male student she met; a member of Nightmare who knew Kokoro was but close to her heart. Somehow, someway, he convinced Kokoro's heart that she was but shackled to a foolish ideal that she, too, could be loved by the one she treasured most. Finding her weakness of being alone and forgotten, forcing Kokoro to believe that Asami would only leave sooner or later. This was all of course but false words that she sadly fell for; thus when Kokoro pranced from the ledge itself and fell to her death was something broken, at that moment, inside of Asami. She'd lost someone who taught her that she was capable of being loved, convincing her that even her mother wasn't all that bad of a person but only wanted the best for Asami. It was all a lie, a lie covered by colorful words.
[break][break]
It was then that something broke in her to where Asami wanted to escape from this world, this world that continued to shackle her to the ground. But only then did the male student somehow found his way treacherous heart into Asami's own, convincing her that in Nightmare would she only be free. Free from the pain, free from the loneliness, free from the shackles that which bounded her wings. All she had to do was simply take his hand.

In the midst of it all, hesitant at first, she did.
[attr="class","nightmare_head"] HISTORY
Iridescent was the painting that which changed vehemently. From different points of view did the red spider lily come to be seen in different shades, but she was only seen as but one to those near her: gray. Her emotion, though seen as bleak to those around, possessed empathy as well. Outside she showed kindness to the elderly, obedience to her mother, and perfectionism to her studies. These were the colors chosen to represent her palette, painting a picture in the sky that secretly, desired the attention of the one whom she'd loved. But in her mind it wasn't the proper way to love a child. Before having been sent away to a boarding did she see through windows, at parks, and within the shopping districts families that were whole; whereas she, a girl of high-class stature, was but naught gifted with such a family.[break][break]
