Above all else, she values power and dominance - she will without a doubt disregard those she deems as weak, save for the very few individuals Vivianne considers friends .A cruel sadist, Vivianne often derives sheer joy from the suffering of others, who are usually nothing more for her than things to be toyed to the point of breaking, then tossed aside. Rules and customs mean little more than suggestions to her, so she ignores them if they come close to slowing down her progress in whatever she's got her sights on. Vivianne could immediately recognize the human's aura of power, and Kimura could instantly tell the Digimon (by then a Tukaimon) had a penchant for chaos, making her an ideal fit for the Nightmare gang. Since then, the two have enjoyed countless hours of senseless destruction together.

Vivianne wasn't born, but rather created. In the alternate digital world of Witchelny, where sorcery reigns suprime, witches and wizards study complex programming languages with which they sling powerful spells at their foes. This world was one of pure chaos, devastated by constant infighting between magical factions and the otherwordly invasions. In an effort to achieve greater power, many of this world's wizards shaped code into life, creating familiars. Vivianne was one such creation, born from the wizard's evil intent to destroy his foes. Under the wizard's tutelage, Vivianne learned the basis of digital sorcery while spreading the seeds of chaos through the land. This all didn't last long, however. A legendary digimon known as Medieval Dukemon suddenly appeared one day, using sorcery the likes had never been seen before. He gathered the just, and with them rid the land both of invaders and the evil sorcerers that plagued it - including Vivianne's master. Thankfully for Vivianne, she managed to avoid execution, escaping to Earth. [break][break] There, she met the human Kimura Kyoryoku.
