"I need my alone time!"
A childish whine sounded through the secluded parts in one of Shibuya's parks, followed by soft thumps on the ground. Although it had been the middle of the night, random sparks of electricity faintly lit the area around the digimon. Its head was turned away from its tamer as he proceeded to walk forward without a care for its surroundings. The Elecmon's tantrum looked more adorable than threatening as Hinata would see it, but even then, he cannot exactly leave it alone without supervision.
The light from his phone acted as a torch and lighted the way as he followed his Elecmon to the more obscure areas of the place. "Pfft, 'alone time'." He tried to muffle his laughter to the minimum with his free hand though the fact that Taro turned around and glared meant that he wasn't successful. The "Shut up!" that came from him only made Hinata chuckle more. "Come on. How long are you gonna keep moping 'round? I already told ya I had exams that day."
Apparently, all it needed to set the Elecmon into this mood was forgetting to acknowledge its presence when it nagged him to play. To be fair, those exams he had to stay up all night for were crucial for him to pass.

Hinata Ueno Night duty sucked-- even in Shibuya. Once again, Shino drew the short straw and had to do patrol of the surrounding territory for any wild and dangerous Digimon to emerge in the real world. Shino would of preferred more action but most of the time she was just watching the quiet areas of the city. She almost wish the worst would happen so she had something to do instead of killing time as Commandramon poked his head in places where it shouldn't be... ... like in the tree as he looked into a knothole of the tree they were sitting in. "WHAAA!" Commandramon screamed, pulling his head free from the hole, to reveal a squirrel had made a home in there. "Huh, funny fuzzy guy. Sorry about that. " he said, but the squirl just chirped loudly at him. He frowned in return. "Hey, don't get snippy with me." Shino sighed, once again Commandramon easily distracted. How in the world a Digimon designed for recon and artiliary-- became this guy. She must have broke him with so many hits to the head for all his bad behavior. "Vector, could you focus please..." she grumbled. Even as she was aware and her eyes on the horizon, she had a pair of headphones she used to listen to low-volume music to kill the time. If there was one thing-- was their view to see the city lights even from the park illuminated things. Slowly, Shino would look down-- and that was when she saw them. A small light that illuminated the park path below-- along with a young blonde man. What stood out most was the small creature with him. At first it looked like a dog, but as Shino looked more carefully, she saw it was in fact an odd looking 'skunk' or mammal. "Commandramon..." she whispered and snapped her fingers. The little dinosaur jolted up and looked to where Shino pointed to. Using his little sniper gun, he aimed the scope at them-- spotting them in his sight. He blinked as he saw them, recognizing the creature as a digimon. Shino's digivice lit up-- revealing she was correct. A digimon-- an Elecmon to be exact as she saw the data scroll down on her screen. She then quickly dismissed the Digivice and kept an eye on them. "Interesting... very likely a tamer there. For now, she would observe... in case this person was, in fact, a nightmare person. However, the fact he had his partner out in the open, that probably might not be the case. Even though they were hidden in the treetop of the park-- it wouldn't mean that Elecmon might not sense them.

There was a change in expression from the previously annoyed Elecmon, going from an 'about to cry' face to a more serious one in a matter of seconds. Hinata raised a brow, silently asking the digimon of what the deal was, which was promptly ignored by the red-furred mammal as he turned his head upwards. Its blue eyes squinted in the dark, though it remained curious as opposed to shifting in more aggressive stance. While Hinata gave his partner the benefit of the doubt, he was getting more convinced that Taro was closer to a talking dog than the battle monsters that digimon were supposed to be.
"What? Ya scared of squirrels now too?" he jested. He moved his phone's screen to light up the area the Elecmon was staring at, though the brightness proved to be too weak to properly reveal the figures within the trees. He ended up shrugging his shoulders along with the thought of figuring out what Taro had spotted, probing the Elecmon back to the topic they were talking about earlier. "How 'bout we head home since you're finished with the drama? Not really in a mood to get mugged right now."
The Elecmon did not budge, not even when Hinata shone his phone's light directly at its face. "...Are you waiting for it to show itself?" Taro turned to his tamer and made the slightest nod, evidently wary of the risk of turning their backs on an unknown digimon that hid within the shadows. Hinata, who was not aware at all that the Elecmon sensed another digimon instead of a squirrel, picked up a pebble on the ground and threw it where the Elecmon had been staring at. "Aaaaah-!" Screaming was the only reaction Taro could do at the situation, unsure if they should start running now or not.

Hinata Ueno The pebble went flying through the trees-- just barely missing COmmandramon's head. "Hey... thats not nice," he said as he looked up from his scope. Of course the little stone bounced and grazed the cyber dino's helmet. It seemed they were found out, but Shino didn't feel any real threat from them. IN fact, they were decent tamers worth even saying hello to. Despite the throw of the rock, SHino sighed and relaxed. Even though she didn't know them, it was only fair to let them know they meant well. "Come on, Commandramon." she sighed. She then moved from the branch-- then slid off to fall towards the ground. In sight of the stranger and his Elecmon, Shino landed to the ground in an elegant crouch and rose to her feet. She rose up casually as if she wasn't even spying on him-- followed by COmmandramon landing behind her... ... then falling flat on his back as his little rifle fell from his hands. "Ack! Its okay! I'm good-- I'm good..." he rambled, rolling over to get back on his feet. Shino rolled her eyes and slowly approached the stranger. "You should be more careful... though I suppose you could get away with calling your Digimon a dog this time of night," she said to the blonde teenager. She still kept her hands in her pockets. Neither unfriendly but welcoming. Commandramon soon got to his feet and approached by her side. "Hiya! Nice to meet you!" he said, waving to Elecmon.

The sudden bawl had Hinata flinching as soon as the projectile took its course. Surprised, his hands accidentally dropped the phone he held and momentarily cut off their lighting. "See? No squirrels there. Watcha screamin' about for?" he interrogated as he crouched down and reached for the fallen device. It was only when he heard movement overhead them that he realized that the Elecmon wasn't simply staring at nothing. In fact, even Hinata recognized the need to be as cautious as Taro. If it was something that only Taro could sense but not him, he was inclined to believe it was another digimon.
He flashed his phone's light upward once again, only to find a girl younger than him land gracefully along with an armed reptile, who did not seem to share her nimbleness. Taro tried to close in to investigate, but stopped as the other digimon gave him his reassurance. Hinata stood up from crouching and took out his digivice, scanning what he assumed to be the other person's partner digimon. "Commandramon, huh," he muttered, staring at the words that flashed on the screen. He shrugged and turned to the Elecmon. "At least your name's boring and short and easy to remember."
Hinata's attention shifted to the other tamer, raising an eyebrow with her statement. "Careful? What's that supposed to mean?" He rested his chin on his fingers, posing as if he's thinking properly. "Ah, yeah, I suppose thieves and criminals are more common at night. Dunno 'bout calling Taro a dog though. Not cute enough to be one in my opinion." He glanced at the digimon in question as he spoke, who seemed to be enjoying himself by replying with a "Hello!" back at the Commandramon and oblivious to the insults Hinata mentioned.
"What are you doing up there anyways? I don't think I have enough fans to get myself a stalker." No normal human would be staying up in the middle of the night just to hang out in a tree as far as he knows, though having a digimon partner already meant that she wasn't normal. A sudden thought made his voice quiver for a moment, prompting to add another one to his string of questions. "A-and I didn't hit you with that stone, right?" Hopefully, she did not come out of hiding to sue him for damages.

Hinata Ueno Shino looked over the guy, clearly a bit older than her. When he asked if she was stalking him or something, regarding himself as perhaps famous, Shino narrowed her eyes at him and rested a hand on her hip. "Stalking you? Don't flatter yourself, pretty boy..." she huffed, trying to not be taken too in by his older charm. "If you really are famous, I am afraid I never heard of you. Sorry." she explained and relaxed, holding her digivice in hand to show she was indeed a tamer too. "As for being careful, I am sure you heard the news about Digimon around and how the public are on edge after the events in Shinjuku," she explained, "The last thing you'd want is to draw unwanted attention to yourself." Commandramon smiled at both Elecmon and his tamer. "Oh, you got a code name too huh? MIne's Vector... you know, line of direction, " Commandramon commented, clicking his rifle in his claws. Shino chuckled at the idea of Elecmon as a dog. "Well, he is a lot cuter than Commandramon here," she commented with a smirk. "Well I-- HEY!" Commandramon commented, glaring back at his partner. Sarcasm and jokes aside, Shino realized how the guy acted regarding his rock throw. She just shrugged. "Don't worry. I been through worse..." she said, actually having been through worse. Besides, Vector was the one who almost got beaned by the pebbel. "Anyway, I am on patrol. It's part of my job to keep an eye out for any wild Digimon that might come around these parts. "

"Ah, don't worry. That was a joke. Nothing to be meant too seriously." Hinata told the words with a flat tone as he stuffed his digivice back to his pocket and shrugged. "Oh well, at least I got called a pretty boy." Toning his teasing down when it came to strangers often came to his mind, though the words usually come out involuntarily before he could rephrase them in his thoughts. On the bright side, at least she had an appropriate response to that.
He wasn't sure of what the danger that bringing a digimon to the public brought exactly, but he could understand how the events in Shinjuku could affect how he could be treated. He was there when the giant Greymon appeared, and he knew he could be considered guilty by association just by being near Taro. Looking at the Elecmon, he couldn't think of how dangerous he could be, especially compared to what he experienced before. That look of innocence on his face was too pure that he couldn't even think of kicking him regardless of how annoying he gets.
"I get called Taro. It means, uh..." The Elecmon looked up to his tamer, silently asking for the answer. "It's a dog's name," he responded. "Yeah, that!" While the Commandramon clearly got offended by his tamer's comment, the Elecmon shied away, blushing as he opened his mouth to protest that he wasn't cute, but ended up accepting it regardless.
Hinata exhaled a sigh of relief when he found out that he wasn't owing anyone a medical bill. Still, he wasn't sure if the girl shared the same feeling of relief with that kind of obligation. "Don't you have schooling to attend to tomorrow?" Considering digimon were not exactly the safest creatures to look out for, he realized that perhaps he could have prioritized his questions better. "Er, and what happens if you find a digimon? Beat 'em up?" He had been in contact with digimon for a while, though it was only recently that he found himself engaging with them instead of locking himself in his room.

Hinata Ueno His mention of school was a valid concern, but Shino shrugged it off. "I am not worried. I'm in the 85th percent of my class. I'm pretty smart," she said in a matter-of-fact, not to be prideful. But what Shino lacked in social mannerism, she was indeed smart. Super-hacker smart considering she was an excellent hacker with the Web Troopers. General school stuff came easy to her-- most of the time. She did all her homework and stuff earlier that day, so night patrols never worried her. Though a better way to do this would be nice than combing the city for trouble. When asked what she would do if she met a dangerous Digimon, Shino shrugged. "Depends. If it is truly beyond reason, we either destroy it for its data... or find a way to send it back to the Digital World." she explained, "I mean, as much as I want Commandramon to get new data, not about to delete a digimon for that reason alone." she said, showing she in fact had some compassion despite her cold demeanor. She in fact had the nerve to come out of hiding and interact with Hinata, so it showed she was on the right side of the morality wall. Commandramon shrugged of course, not really minding deleting a digimon. "I for one love a good fight, but a good soldier follows orders," Commandramon commented and then nudged his head agianst Shino. "Isn't that right, Shino-chi?" he said in a rather affectionate tone. Shino cringed and pushed him away. "Jeez, stop that! Do you like embarrassing me or something?" she growled, annoyed by Commandramon's goofy antics.
