Akio Higashi Obito softened his expression-- realizing he was rude and gave an apologetic nod. "Sorry," he said and listened. It seemed that Akio wasn't just some random tamer-- but one who was part of a group of sorts. A group of tamers, and one that polices digital activity of other, more risky Digimon. It was starting to come together for Obito as he listened. "Wait... so there are other tamers like you? How many do you know?" Obito asked, completely oblivious to the idea that there were others around -- at least the ones that were nice. His encounter with the stranger that almost took Obito and Panthermon away rattled him, and made him less trusting of people. BUt here was someone who he could possibly put some faith into. What Aiko said made sense of Digimon being more well known by the general public. Though for Obito's point of view, he was surprised not many people were tlaking about it more. Could they have been helping keeping it a secret. It raised more questions for him, to which Panthermon rolled his eyes-- able to tell when Obito was deep in thought and lost track of things. With Akio's question-- Obito snapped back to the present. "Um, yeah... Well, Panthermon has some unique abilities, so he has been able to keep hidden very well," Obito explained. He adjusted his glasses, tilted so his eyes were hidden by a glare for a moment. "What about you? How do you keep that dragon of yours secret?" he asked. Obito paused as the man didn't remember what times they met, but it didn't matter so much. Obito just shrugged it off-- but what was more interested to Obito was that he was part of a group. Tamers who were networked together, who in fact was a team. "Um... any chance you can tell me more about these... Busters, was it?" he asked.

He was glad his response got Obito to realize how he had been acting. It seemed he was in control of the conversation now. Good he liked that better. [break][break]
"Well obviously there are other tamers. Look at yourself did you really think you were alone in the world. That you were the only one who had gotten a digital partner. Now as for tamers like me I doubt there are other tamers like me." Akio smirked at the little joke he made. "You know cause I am one of a kind and so is my partner here. But yes there a lot of other tamers that I work with. We all have the same goal, and work together to maintain the harmony here in Tokyo."[break][break]
Akio nodded along as Obito explained how he was keeping Panthermon a secret. "That's exactly what I was getting at. You don't just let him wonder out and about. As far as Dracomon is concerned he big enough that people think he is some kind of street performer. But for the most part we stay out of sight during the day and he only comes out in the evening when there are fewer people around. So we do it by just limiting exposure to normal people."[break][break]
He thought he was going to be done explaining things and was getting ready to go when Obito had one more question. This time it was about the busters themselves. "Well there isn't much more to add to what I have already said. However you are a strong battler and a decent tamer. It would not be unheard of someone like you joining up with us. If you are interested in doing so come to Buster's tower in Shinjuku in two days. I'll be waiting in the lobby for you. If you decide to show up I will help you through the process of getting signed up. If not well good luck to you then."

Akio Higashi The detail of the Busters was not as detailed as Obito thought. He wanted to learn more about the group-- their goals and methods, but that was the best he was gonna get. It was then after his brief explanation-- he did, in fact, extend an invitation to the group. THis made Obito wide-eyed with surprise. He was curious about the group and in the back of his mind wanted to join-- and now he had a direct invitation. "Um... wait, you serious?" Obito asked. "I can really join the group?" Panthermon looked to Obito, confused by his surprise. It was a good thing and one that didn't require too much second thoughts. Obito was the one who tend to over think things, so this went faster than he thought. After a soft growl from his digimon, Obito straightened up and nodded. "Um sure, thank you. "Obito said, accepting the invitation. He still had questions. Was there an initiation? Was there a test? How did a unions of Tamers actually work? He still was anxious, not knowing how he could learn about the group itself. But he would have to go there and find out for himself. More importantly, it was not wise to stay there. If people went to see if there was a racket in the church, them discovered loitering around it wouldn't be a good thing. "If you are just gonna take off, we should-- but if you want to talk more, mabye we can take this conversation somewhere else?" Panthermon suggested, now feeling the same exposed feeling being in the now empty church.

Akio thought he was done with Obito. He thought the next time he would see him would be when he came to the tower. [break][break]
"Dracomon, lets go." Dracomon trotted over to Akio's side. The two of them turned to the door they had come through. They started making their way out. They walked their way through the pew toward the exit. The church while it was a battle field was a lot less creepy. But now that they were just walking through it he noticed how creepy it really was. Most of the rows of pews were in tatters. Almost none of them were able to be sat in. The walls almost all were missing paint. The doors he was heading back towards were out of alignment with their frame. It almost looked like several battles had taken place there.[break][break]
Thats was when he heard Obito call back out to him. He asked if he really could join. Akio figured he needed to respond.[break][break]
"Well I can't guarantee your entrance in to the group but you definitely could fill out the application." Akio started. Then Panthermon chimed in saying that they should. Akio agreed but he was done with the encounter. So he turned back to the door and made his way through the rest of the pews and to the door. He opened one of the doors and it let out a large creek as he opened it. It gave out a similar moan as he closed it behind him. If Obito were to follow right behind him he wouldn't see him on the other side of the door. It was almost as if he had disappeared into the night.

Akio HigashiObito watched as Akio and his digimon partner disappeared into the night and out of view from where they were. The church was now empty save for Obito and Panthermon. A cold wind blew through the place, brushing the drapes upon some of the statues away. Though now alone, Obito felt a strange hope in his mind. The hope that he could be a part of an actual group of tamers-- and gain the experience and tools needed to be a better tamer for his digimon. As the tension in the area became calm and serene again, Panthermon swished his tail around and his senses calmed. He could sense no other danger around them besides the regular presence of humans in the city. He looked up to Obito, seeing him deep in thought about becoming part of the Busters. "Obito, it may not be certain... but this might be a good opportunity," he said. "Yeah... it does," Obito agreed. Though the late hour made it painfully aware to Obito they had to leave. "Let's check it out tomorrow. We will have time after school, so... " he paused and looked out of the old stain glass window-- seeing the night sky above. "Hopefully it will be a great start for us." Panthermon gave a growl-- but one of agreement. "Yes, I agree. Let's go," the cat said. With his words, Panthermon vanished in a blur of darkness. As the cat was now gone from view, Obito rubbed the back of his neck and turned for the exit. He paused for a moment and looked to the front of the church. Even though he wasn't religious, Obito gave a small prayer and clapped his hands in respect to the church-- as if asking for forgiveness for fighting there. With that, he left for home. THE END.
