"Since when did human kids ever listen to adults?" The question was entirely rhetorical, despite DJ's lack of knowledge surrounding the word's actual meaning or context. It reminded the Musimon of a few punk rock hits he had jammed out to a couple of days ago, where some of the singers griped and bellyached about their parents being total squares who didn't know a thing about taking it easy and having fun.
Rei's repeated insistences that the two Digimon remain out of the public's sight did nothing except further kill DJ's buzz, far faster than any can of bug spray ever could. Gee, Lieutenant Obvious, what brilliant deductive skills! With any luck, you might just be promoted to the rank of Captain.
Thankfully, it seemed as though his new, physically identical acquaintance shared DJ's sentiment for adventure and even went as far as to ask if their presence would really cause that much of an uproar.
"Well, we do kinda look like a couple ah freaks," the Musimon comments back to Rhyme with a hearty laugh, finding even further comedy in their distorted appearances upon the warped surface of every mirror that lined the funhouse walls. DJ shrugs halfheartedly, "If anything, we could probably pass ourselves off as mascots or somethin'. Maybe even kids with real sweet-ass costumes." He makes a playful devil horn gesture with opposable ears, an audible guitar riff squealing through each speaker.
As DJ moves in the same direction that Rhyme's partner had taken to leave the hall of mirrors, a second buzz had settled itself inside his body—in an area that surely his fellow music aficionado could identify with.
"By the way, what the Digi-hell is pizza?" It sounded like a soup. It probably wasn't soup, though. DJ liked soup.

DJThe more Musimon listened to his brother-from-another=mother DJ about how they could pass as kids in costumes or maybe even as toy robots that moved on their own-- the more he liked the idea. He didn't want to upset Rei, but Rei was, unfortunately, an over-protective girl. While he heart was in the right place, she put so much on her little shoulders she forget she needed to loosen up and have fun. The two were gonna make a little jail break to play the games they wanted. As Rei led them out from the mirrors towards the exit-- and the food court nearby, it was when that DJ asked what was Pizza? Musimon's ears went up in alarm. "Oh my god, yo! You never had Pizza before?!" he nearly shouted and started hopping up and down, causing Rei to block the general public's view of him with her body. Now very excited, Musimon took a hold of DJ's other ear and pulled him along. "Oh, your gonna love it! Its one of the 7 wonders of the human world! Hehehe!" One thing that was universal for almost all digimon-- digimon loved to eat. Rei finally got them to the food court without incident, with both Musimon able to move about a little under the table. After Rei had bought a medium pie-- extra cheese that was gooey with a crispy crust. Musimon took a bite-- strings of cheese pulled between the piece in his bunny-ear-hands... and from his teeth as he tried to cut them off. The taste of the hot cheesy pizza tangled upon his tastebuds. "Mmmmm... soo good, yo..." he moaned happily with his cheeks full. Rei just smiled, happy the two were getting along, as she had her own slice and ate it peacefully, using a fork and knife instead of how others would just use their hands. All the while, she kept an eye out, making sure no one noticed the two Musimon below. To most, it should just look like two stuffed animals from a distance. (OOC: Its fine I understand. Also let me know if i should change the pizza toppings if you know if DJ would like other toppings? :-) )

"Whoa--hey!" DJ found himself being suddenly pulled against his will toward the food court by the other Musimon upon his admission of ignorance to the existence of pizza. One of the 'seven wonders', huh? Apparently it had to be something utterly remarkable if Rhyme was getting this excited over it.
Rei, of course, struggled desperately to conceal their sentience as best as she could, but DJ personally felt it to be a fruitless endeavor, especially considering her own Digimon's boundless excitement over this new, foreign foodstuff.
The two yellow rabbit-things accompanied the soft-spoken human girl to a remote section of the food court, possibly another attempt from her to make sure they stayed out of sight. But did they really have to sit under the damn table?
Rhyme wasted little opportunity in chowing down on his own slice of pizza, fully consumed by the cheesy ecstasy of its taste. DJ's eyes widened somewhat, "Seriously?" Another rhetorical inquest was made as he looked down at the triangle-shaped thing on his paper plate, lifting it up with an ear-hand as if examining a piece of evidence at a crime scene.
A huge, heaping wad of cheese atop a piece of baked bread, with a tomato paste hiding just beneath the gooey surface. All three of these things were fine on their own, but combined...?
As soon as DJ takes a single bite of the pizza's pointed center, his face bursts with a visible rosy tint of surprise. Independently from the cocktail of emotions brewing within himself, this provokes a soft and slow, funky serenade from the Musimon's ear-speakers, an audible representation of what was, for all intents and purposes, genuine love at first bite.
DJ can only giggle profusely to himself as he crams more hot pizza into his gaping mouth, practically intoxicated by its overwhelming taste.

DJ (OOC: ROFL) Musimon giggled at his new friend's nirvanic reaction to the Pizza. The music that sung from his speakers was something that Musimon could wholeheartedly agree with, despite his own taste for a more jingle-ish tune, and chippered as he gulped down his latest bite. "See, I told ya, yeah!" Rhyme replied with a chirp and took another bite. Rei looked down to see both Musimon enjoying themselves, luckily the music was easily melted against the loud music and sound of the rest of the arcade. "You two are a bunch of party animals... Just don't go overboard on it, okay?" she whispered to them-- if they even heard her over their lunch. "So what you think?" Rhyme/Musimon said as he finished his slice, and reached for his second. "If you think this is good, wait till you try 'ice cream'-- though I get a tie over Rei's famous brownies," he cheered. Musimon was very happy to have another digimon friend to hang out with. With the Pizza box now empty, she picked it up and turned to her two digimon friends. "I'm going to clean up a bit," she said, finished cleaning up the plate she used "Okay, you two. Wait here for me." she said kindly, then turned for the trashcan-- -- but that 15 precious seconds would give them the chance to make a break for it. Musimon turned to DJ-- the same mischevious look in his eye. "Are you thinking what I think you're thinking, you think, Yo?" he asked, wanting to have some fun before Rei made them leave for home. It was scary how similar those two Musimon behaved.

If DJ knew what the word 'empathy' meant, he certainly would have admitted to feeling it for Rei and her own Musimon friend by now after being figuratively swept off of his feet by the wondrous meal that had been given to him. It was almost enough to make a 'mon religious.
Fittingly enough, the dulcet tones of Marvin Gaye's hit single fade away as DJ practically inhales the last few bites of his pizza with a grin of satisfaction, wiggling his feet like the happiest of children.
"I gotta say, dis is better den any Meat Apple I've ever eaten in my whole life!" DJ boasts a memory from his past, speaking of consumables only found in the world he came from, that other dimension opposite this one. But it was moments like this one that served to really paint the Human World in a better frame for the Musimon.
"One ah dese days, I'm gonna eat all ah da pizza!" His vocal intonations pick up a distinct New York brogue out of nowhere, a possible side effect of the sheer joy he felt from this amazing thing he had just consumed. If DJ had to pick up a second hobby, eating food would likely be that choice.
Once the mousy girl informs the two Digital duplicates of her plans to clean up their table, Rhyme takes it upon himself to prod DJ into making a break for the arcades, almost in that same way the little Devimon on your shoulder would tell you to give somebody the dreaded 'Subatomic Nuclear Wedgie' when they weren't looking.
DJ flashes a toothy sneer, fully in-sync with Rhyme's intent for mischief. "Yeah! We're gonna totally find some more pizza to eat, right?"
Or, maybe not. But could you blame him? Pizza is great.

DJPerhaps this second Musimon was a bad influence on an already bad influence--both of them were trouble makers and Musimon snickered at his carbon copy. "I'm up for pizza-- on our way to the dancing game, yo!" he said to complete his thought-- "But yeah your gonna love Pepperoni, Pepper and Anchovies." Typical crazy toppings for an overly energetic Musimon. With Rei with her back turned, The two Musimon made a break for it-- slinking off from table to table to reach the kitchen-- and off to wreak whatever havoc they wanted on the arcade. Mostly to have fun...hopefully. Rei soon returned to the table and sat there for a few minutes. She took a breath and sanked into her chair for a moment. "Well I hope you guys enjoyed your meal." she said... but got no responce. Her brow furrowed as she noticed a sudden lack of sound-- which was always a bad sign when you had a Musimon for a partner. Slowly she looked under the table. "Musimon? You two there...?" And all she saw was the empty paper plates, and the chewing gum stuck to the table. Her eyes went wide. "MUSIMON!" She cried, realizing they blew the coop. From where they were, Musimon's ears went up at the slight sound of her voice-- but he brushed it off, mistaking it for ambiant noise of the arcade as they cutted through the kitchen to explore further. DJ's pearly blue eyes glittered with electric vigor at Rhyme's mention of a dancing game and the prospect of even more pizza to cram down his gullet. Like two kids in a candy store, the pair of Musimons made haste for the amusement-filled wonderland that awaited them.
"There's so much stuff here!" DJ could only gawk in amazement at all the arcade had to offer, completely oblivious to the occasional glances that the two Digimon were consequently beginning to draw. Fortunately, humans weren't too observant—at least, none of the adults were. "And it's just full of all different kinds ah music!"
No matter where the lapine turns his gaze, there is something to tantalize his senses and pull at his strings. He had become a puppet to this place of wonder and mystery, enchanted by all he experienced, and would not rest until he made out with more memories than even a world-class thief could get away with.
Eventually, it was only a matter of time before DJ caught glimpse of the biggest, coolest, flashiest machine he had ever looked upon: twelve speakers flanked an enormous monitor, six on each side, while two metal pads lay before the impressive set-up as four colored arrows, arranged in the cardinal directions, flashed in timed sequence to a fast-paced trance beat that was now playing as part of a demonstration of its holy magic.
"It-it--! It's--!! It's da thing!" DJ stuttered incoherently, stamping rapidly on the spot from the sheer excitement he felt. "The dance thing! The watchamacallit!"
He bolted inside, wanting desperately to caress this Holy Grail of all musical machines, in spite of the growing abundance of children in various sizes and ages.

DJRei was in a panic as she tried to follow the trail of confusion left by the Musimon-- but as she was either terrified to learn or relieved to know, those two covered their tracks well. It was the benefit to raising rookie digimon-- they were so small, they were rarely noticed unless they really wanted to be known. While she was lost trying to find them-- Rhyme/Musimon was having a grand time, having one last piece of pizza after the two had ran through the kitchen and were now on the other side of the arcade. He felt a small tinge of guilt for ditching Rei, but he wanted to have fun with his new friend. After he swallowed the last bit of his pizza, DJ was suddenly mesmerized by it-- the same machine that Musimon wanted to play and was denied. His ears went up with excitement. DJ stuttered at it, and wanted to know what it was called. "It's called Dance-Dance-Revolution, yo! You dance to the music, tapping your feet on the same arrows that appear on the screen. The goal is to hit it at just the right time to gain points. But its super fun with awesome music and dancing-- weeeyeah!!" he cheered, excited by the machine too. Of course, in the end of it-- DJ ran right for it. Not about to pass it up, he ran right for it-- the machine now empty and able for them to play. Musimon hopped right upon the platform on the left, and waited for his new friend to take the right. "I wonder what music they got on this thing?" he asked, and began using the arrow keys on the dock to select a song and level. Meanwhile, Rei continued to search around-- peering at the ground and surrounding machines. She was baffled and nervous. She took off her black stocking cap and wiped her brow, nervous that she might of lost them for good.

Perfection had a name--and it was DanceDance Revolution! DJ felt his tongue practically lolling from an open mouth, spittle falling quite heavily to the floor in his catatonic amazement for such a shiny big music box.
Restored to a state of coherent thought by Rhyme's own ardor for the fun that was about to ensue, the other Musimon skips his way to the machine alongside his new companion and grabs the support bars eagerly with all four of his opposable limbs.
But just as his duplicate bounced to go to work, DJ was perceptive enough to catch wind of an important detail his friend had missed. "Nooo! We need--" DJ shouted, until he paused to read the word 'token', then continued without skipping a beat, "--toe-kins to play!"
Such a travesty would not stand unabated! DJ had to correct this situation before it had the chance to become totally FUBAR, motivating him to shoot a determined glare Rhyme's way, clenching his ear-hands into tightly balled fists. "We've gotta find where they keep 'em! I can hardly stand it anymore, I gotta get my groove on before I lose it!"
If Rhyme had enough sense to point the location of this hidden treasure, DJ would definitely return the favor by showing him a neat trick of his own. Provided his Digi-instincts served him correctly.

DJMusimon's ears raised as he looked to the machine, and realized DJ was right. The game required tokens to play-- which the Digimon didn't have. Once again, without Rei such things wouldn't come easily. After all, Musimon got that there was reasons why they shouldn't have ditched Rei but what was passed was passed... and well they did already take some extra pizza without paying so... ... Musimon's ears flopped with disappointment. They could get some from around the place. So many people wouldn't miss one or two tokens-- or if they go to the desk and slip some out. Still, he knew Rei would be disappointed in stealing. But then again, DJ was adamant to play. Still, he didn't want the fun to end. Oh would Rei be mad later... but luckily Musimon's cute eyes attack always softened her up. "Well, we can probably get some from the desk over there... if you can sneak around the attendant," Musimon said, pointing his regular arm to the desk where the grown up staff member was. He was the one who gave the coins away in exchange for money. "Or we could look in the cracks on the floor for coins people drop?" he offered, maybe thinking DJ wouldn't want to steal. Either way that was the plan. At least they weren't doing anything to really hurt anyone. They just wanted to play without over-protective Rei stopping their fun.

It was a good thing Rhyme knew enough about the human world to guide DJ in the right direction, or else their escape from Rei's figurative leash would have been for nothing. According to the other Musimon, they could get some of the little metal coins from the big person behind the counter, the one who definitely looked like he could use a new set of teeth.
DJ only shook his head. "Dere's too many people around, we'd just get kicked out..." Just then, a stroke of inspiration hits the yellow lapine, and he snaps the digits of his ear-hands. "Wait, I got an idea!" He chuckles darkly behind another one. "Watch dis."
Puffing his chest out in confidence, DJ lets off a smug grin as he snaps his fingers a second time the moment nobody was looking in their direction. Simply observing the Musimon revealed nothing, but the crowd quickly descends into mild confusion as soon as the arcade's entire stock of machines begin to fizzle and hum with static feedback.
One of the neat advantages of being an aberrant Digimon in this particular dimension was that DJ's mere presence occasionally caused the gadgets and gizmos to go haywire, especially whenever he focused hard enough to cause a disruption on purpose.
Whether Rhyme was attuned to his clever ruse had yet to show itself, as even the DanceDance Revolution machine was affected by his invisible static field, but DJ merely stood by and took in the commotion he so obviously didn't cause with great relish.
Eventually, a couple more arcade attendants, including the one stationed at the counter, were forced to respond to the situation and abandon their posts, leaving the two rascally Digimon to carry out the rest of their combination strategy unimpeded. Nobody was screaming or crying, either, which made it that much easier for them to continue.
"Go an' grab a bunch! I'll shut it off once you're in da clear," DJ whispers as he gawks around with a bug-eyed expression, pretending as if though he were just as concerned about the machines in mayhem.

DJ It seemed even though there were times and places the two Musimon would do something or not-- but both had keen senses of trouble. They loved to cause mischef. Musimon got a little envious as he saw Musimon use his data to suddenly cause a distortion and caused a majority of the arcade to go haywire. Musimon had to resist the urge to laugh as he saw things go crazy. And like the other one planned, the men left the desk. Musimon hopped over as the coast was clear and went to grab the coins. A ting of guilt did cross Musimon's mind-- stealing from them, but it wasn't like money. After all, Digimon had to do what they could to get by. "Sorry, Mr. I'll make up the karma somehow," he said and took a single roll from the desk among many so that no one would notice. He hopped back down from the desk and quickly scurried away. On the other side of the arcade, Rei had been searching for them-- starting to worry... till she heard the commotion and saw as several of the games began to go haywire. Many of the staff went to try and reset the machines, and see what the problem was, but Rei soon groaned and held a hand to her head. "Oh no..." she groaned, having a pretty good idea it was Musimon related. "Why do I get the feeling this is done by two rather mischevious energizer bunnies..." Following the commotion from the staff, she kept an eye out for them. Musimon soon rejoined DJ with a roll of tokens in his ear-hand. "Got it. Now we can play... assuming you didn't break the same machine, yo?" he joked, seeing how his little trick caused so many machines to go haywire.

DJ smirked with pride in his new partner-in-crime, satisfied he was able to put aside his own morals to indulge in a little harmless fun. Once he came back with a real gob of the little tokens, the Digimon's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
"Nyeeh, I don't know what yer talkin' about, homie?" DJ joked himself, rolling his eyes in that same way a cartoon character does when they're pretending to be innocent in the wake of the mischief they wrought, before producing a third and final snap of his ear-fingers.
Without a moment's delay, all of the machines in the gaming emporium sprung back to life, each display going through its own reboot phase until the arcade was restored to its original state, very much to the patrons' and employees' unified befuddlement.
The Musimon giggled. "Ta-da! I'm basically a friggin' magician, yo." DJ said, throwing up a faux gang sign, then skipped back over to the flashing platform, grunting as he hopped up onto the left-hand set of arrows with a look of utter anticipation swimming inside his baby blue eyes.

DJ Musimon had to admit-- he did admire DJ's little trick. He had some sort of control over the electronics of the surroundings. Sure Musimon could convert electricity to 'power' his audio powers, but nothing like this. Clearly, DJ was feeling very clever with himself and called himself a Magician. NOw that was it for Musimon as he gave a challenging glare at his carbon copy. "Oh yeah?" he said, "Well I hate to break it to you, yo! You mgiht be a magician, but im a freaking musi-magician. Scratch that," he pointed to himself with his hand-ears. "Im a friggen' Mugician, yo!" Them were fighting words as they now could play the Dance-Dance Revolution game. They would likely play a dance off to see who was the better master of his musical abilities. Probably the next best thing from actually slugging it off-- which Rei would be furious about. Rei was at wits end as she tried to navigate through the people and the staff, and found no trace of her little friends. She even checked the crane machine, thought she saw them in it-- but it was just a real stuffed yellow bunny rabbit. Out of breath, Rei rested a hand on a nearby wall. She was worried with each moment that would pass, her odds of finding them again would shrink. What if she lost them forever, or if someone took them? The thought brought tears to her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away with her large sleeve. "Musimon... Come on, where did you go?" Suddenly, a beeping went off on her person. She thought it was her phone, but it didn't vibrate in her pocket. Then she realized it was coming from inside her shirt. Taking the strap from around her neck, she pulled out her Yellow Digivice. As she looked at the screen, she soon saw something that resembled a compass appear on it. It wandered for a moment, then locked in on a single direction to her right. Her eyes lit up a bit of hope, realizing her D-Power was able to lock on to her own Musimon's signal. Despite the chaos on the other machines, her digivice continued to work properly. The beep was music to her ears as she hoped it would lead her to her mischevious Musimon. "I got you this time, smarty-pants," she said and quickly followed the signal. DJ cocks a brow upward at Rhyme's attempts to rebuff his earlier quip with the odd declaration of his role as 'Mugician'. "Ha! Dat sounds like somethin' owduva Danish card game!" Whatever that meant. Only he would get that reference, though, because that's just how bizarre the Musimon's range of interests were.
But DJ was not one for competition; in fact, pissing contests like these were what broke friendships apart, and if there was any way the rowdy rabbit Digimon could avoid a potential scuffle, he would act on it once the moment presented itself.
For now, the pair of Musimons were walked through the dance machine's electrifying mode selection screen — where DJ found his cue to speak up. "Oh, oh! Let's do dat one!"
Double Mode: perhaps one of the more challenging ways to play DanceDance Revolution, selecting this game mode would require a single player to use both arrow pads at once to complete the typical three-song gauntlet that was to follow. Not that DJ knew this, of course.
Fortunately, he banana yellow lagomorph wouldn't be taking this on alone, now that he had Rhyme at his side. "I'll let you pick the difficulty!" Coordination and timing would be necessary for them to overcome this challenge, as their fates now rested with every track the two chose to select.
Here's hoping this game wasn't too hard...
