DJ Of course, Musimon meant it in playful rivalry. After all, Musimon lived to play music. It only made sense to have a 'spin off' of the music boards. Still, it was all in good fun as Musimon joined his new friend on the dance platform. It was then that he picked a music to best set the mood-- and up to him to pick a difficulty. Since he wanted to spin off with a good challenge, he thought normal mode would be good. "Normal is good for me, yo!" he said and hopped up. He hit the button to set it to normal difficulty. "Okay, done," he said and waited for his new friend to hit the start button. Musimon kept his feet on the platform. At this point, he didn't care for bystanders watching or whatever. This time, he was gonna cut loose on this miracle machine. He would deal with the results later. The screen soon flashed to start and the music began to play. (Let you pick the music link ) Musimon watched as the countdown went on, offering to change the mood to a more active tune as soon as it said "Start".

The announcer bellows out DJ and Rhyme's choices in that iconic bombast and vigor, further amplifying the former Musimon's desire to cut grooves into the dance pad. He might not be a Dancemon, but he'd be damned if he didn't have the same musical aptitude for the craft, even if it was just a simulated version of the experience.
A bass line rolls as the machine's display breaks out in a kaleidoscope of colors and visual effects, the steady pulse of each beat pounding into DJ's heart as if though he himself were in full synchronicity with the melody that soon followed.
"Are you ready!? Let's step! Step!" The machine cries out as soon as the music leads into a soft instrumental bridge, and arrows begin to fly up from both sides of the screen at a moderately casual speed, but grouped together in rather intimidating clusters--some appeared on DJ's half, others on Rhyme's, but a few of them even interchanged between the platforms.
"Whoa!" DJ immediately feels his feet stomping on each of the four marked plates, finding out rather quickly that the objective was to maintain a steady rhythm while he hits each arrow in time to the music as it began rolling out its distinctive trance elements.
"O.K!" "Great!" "O.K!" "Good!" "Perfect!" The words flash with every note he hits while a bright green meter on the top of the screen creeps its way closer to the center, occasionally interspersed with positive reinforcement from the announcer character's cheers and shouts, and it fills DJ with a sense of overwhelming euphoria he had never experienced before. Rhyme's performance would ultimately fall on his own too shoulders--or, in this case, feet.
It was also a good way to connect with his physically identical friend, as he now got a brief taste at his own musical interests. Then again, the two Digimon were inherently programmed to enjoy all kinds of music, but preferences still played a part in their individual temperaments.

DJ Just like DJ, to hear music and move to it were different things-- but both of them were in love with kind of challenge. Musimon's ears twitched and his foot tapped with the beat of the music that was coming from the speakers. As soon as the machine gave the cue to start! It was as if the music was synchronized to the Digimon and gave them an edge that probably could beat any human at this game. Themselves... that was a different story. Rhyme/Musimon tapped his feet, stretching them to reach the different pads as it counted down... and then they were off! The rain of symbols came down on both sides of the screen and Musimon hopped into action like a real rabbit would. With his eyes glued to the screen, his foot met to reach the right panal at the right moment-- the start was relatively close to his musical rival-- his steps came around as inconsistent but kept up to beat as "Great! Great! Good! Super! Good! Perfect! Good". In the end it came right down to reflexes and attention as they both were similar in speed and their developed sense of rhythem. DJ's reaction was a surprised sound as Musimon smiled back to him. "I know, right, yo!?" he cheered and his feet moved faster-- his head bobbing to the electronica beat. Musimon's gauge was growing up side by side to DJ's too, even though at different rates. The beat alit Musimon's nerves with electricity as he caused the gauge to climb with his movements-- spinning in his motions with hops and jumps. He even did a small 'break dance' move using his hand-ears to touch a few of the points. A clever move for some flare in his step. It could be anyone's game now. As they dance, they would be oblivious to some innocent bystanders that were watching-- even as they whispered how odd they looked-- they were brushed off as a few little kids in costumes, or a new kind of robot toy for kids to play with.
