DJ Rei's Card Pouch:SC03 - NEGATION MAGIC A Taps into a dark magic, creating an arcane field around one target Tamer or Digimon. Any damage that is tiny or lower will be negated on contact with this field for 3 turns until the spell wears off.
SC20 - RAY OF LIGHT Allows a Digimon to summon forth a blinding ray of sunshine over one target, inflicting tiny Light damage.
SC21 - DARK SPIKE Allows a Digimon to summon forth a painful spike crafted from shadows, impaling one target for tiny Dark damage.
BS027 - CLEAR MIND Cures the Digimon of Berserk. The effects are as much numbing as they are calming, reducing Strength by 5 for 2 turns.
BS042 - RESILIENCE Gives the Digimon immunity to incoming physical status effects. Lasts for one turn.
BS060 - POISON IVY Augments the Digimon's claws/talons into extendable vines, able to reach up to 25ft forward. While both useful for reaching distant objects, they are just as effective as whips. Inflicts low Wood damage and first hit has a low chance to Root for one turn. Fades away after 3 turns.
BS125 - ENTRENCH Half Dexterity, Intellect, and Strength. Double Vitality, Defense, and Essence. Lasts two turns.
BS062 - ROCK AND ROLLER Summons Shoutmon's mic for Digimon use for Digimon/human use. Inflicts low metal damage, but it can be also screamed into one time to inflict tiny Wind damage in a cone of about 30ft. (Humans require at least 5 Athletics)
BS055 - VEE PUNCH Veemon's signature attack. The user winds up their arm at a high velocity before hurling a punch. Deals low Earth damage and knocks back targets up to 20ft.
BS076 - SCATTER AUGMENT Modifies the Digimon next ranged attack to damage all foes in a cone radius. (Minimum 5ft cone, increases by 5ft for each damage category above Tiny) The streets of Shibuya were always busy-- but the energy that ran through the city was enough to give anyone a rush if they felt like it. FOr Rei, she grew up in Shibuya and knew her way around the streets of it like the back of her hand. School had let out and she was free to take her time home. Though she appeared to be a girl-- with an upbeat sense of fashion (TWEWY Focus on Shibuya clothing) -- with a strange back pack she kept in toe with her. Of course, the backpack was hardly anything to shrug off as it was actually a little digital imp. The two-- Rei and Musimon had been partners for a little over a week, and though the young girl was still a newbie as a tamer, she worked to keep Musimon concealed and protected. Her interests were not so much in battles, but to keep her partner safe and happy like a pet. Well, not exactly a pet since she knew Musimon was a living creature with a will of his own. BUt still, it was her job to keep him safe. Musimon had no issues being the 'eyes in the back of Rei's head'. The little guy had grown to be very fond of her, and even more so for her enchanting singing voice, he heard what drew him out from the Digital World. For now, he kept her company as she made her way through Shibuya. "Hey, Rei-chan," Musimon whistled from behind her. "I know we have to go home, but you think no one would be upset if we go play in an arcade? You should take some time to have fun too." She usually went right home to work on her school work then do chores-- since she sort of volunteered to take care of things. But Musimon's suggestion did make her feel more adventurous. She was bored of going home all the time right after school. "Hmm... I suppose we do have some time. But no more than an hour, okay?" she asked with a glance behind her. Musimon fidgited excitedly-- despite his ears being used as backpack straps. "Yo! Party in the arcade! No Musimon-- No life!" "Pssst! Quiet," Rei hissed to Musimon. "Do you want the whole crowd to hear you?" Musimon honestly wanted to say 'yes' as he loved being heard-- but said nothing and understood why. Digimon was not a common thing in the real world for obvious reasons. With that, the two made their way to the arcade-- but they would soon realize the place was far more than just some Arcade... but a full blown indoor amusement park.

Man, this place was packed full of people! It seemed that wherever DJ went in this crazy-huge city--someone called it 'Toe-kee-oh' or whatever--there was always a group of humans just standing around. You would think that they'd be doing something more productive with their free time, like listening to music, or dancing.
For this Musimon, it was the former, as he spent the last couple of minutes swaying his head left and right to an orchestral piece that had been playing several meters from his current location, tucked away behind a small series of alleys and nooks where only the tiniest fellows like himself could fit.
'Stay out of sight'. That was the credo that most Digimon adopted upon manifesting themselves in this strange world, but DJ never quite understood what made following this directive so important. Were humans really more dangerous than they were? Shoot, the last time DJ checked, he didn't see no damn dinosaurs walking down the street!
However, something had grabbed the yellow lapine's attention long enough to distract him from the symphonic arrangement, immediately putting his nose to work. It almost smelled like... himself? Well, that can't be right. DJ leans over and lifts up his arm to take a whiff, finding nothing out of the ordinary.
Weird.

DJThe arcade was a full blone indoor amusement park indeed. Not as big as others, but a two story gymnasium like building with plenty of high-tech games and displays, from racing games, ticket-earning ones-- but there were other full blown attractions. A small rollercoster that ran along the room, dance games, a carousel, range games-- and even a house of mirrors. Shibuya never did anything small and even brought in a great deal of tourism how anything and everything could be found. Rei and Musimon were amazed as they saw all the different colored lights and different sounds flash and echo around them. It was so amazing Musimon's ears went up in excitement. "Oooooh, you humans know how to party!" he cheered happily. "Remember, you still have to stay hidden, you know," Rei reminded her overly eager Digimon partner. "Stay next to me, got it?" "Yeah... I know," Musimon said , slightly disappointed-- but then got overly eager when he saw something else. His eyes widened at it. "Oh, Rei-chan! Look-look-lookie!" Typical of any Musimon-- the rather loud robust music that played high-energy electronica came from a "Dance, Dance Revolution!" game with a twin stage positioned before a large video monitor with the arrows scrolling down with people dancing in its place-- to match the arrows on the screen. The high energy music made Musimon's nerves jolt in direct beat of it. "Rei-chan I wanna play that-- So badly! " he begged, "Please-please-please-pleeeeeeaaase...!" He literally almost jumped right out of her arms. However, she held on to him by one of his ears. "Musimon-- no! Someone will see you! It's too risky." Musimon still couldn't take his eyes off the fun game-- a game suited for any Musimon worth the name. Still, he obeyed Rei as he saw the humans dance up a storm on it. "COme on, Musimon. Let's try some of the other games, okay?" she said, and slowly dragged him away.

As skilled as he might have been keeping out of the general public's field of view, DJ certainly hated having to keep his passion on the down low as well. What was the point of having all these awesome tracks to listen to if he wasn't allowed to enjoy any of it, especially out in the open? It was more than enough incentive for the yellow-furred Rookie to blow the proverbial yogurt stand and shift his attentions towards a place that had more music for him to indulge in.
Peeking out from behind one of the alleyway's brick walls, DJ's eyes fell upon a series of colorful flashing lights that stood out to him like glittering gemstones, as if the very Digi-Gods themselves had shown him the path to musical Nirvana. Interspersed between the visual rainbow, a handful letters spelled out "ARCADE", a word the Musimon had no familiarity with but was nonetheless captivated with all the same. Maybe that place had a jukebox or something!
Quickly, DJ scrambles his way toward a nearby fire escape, using his hand-shaped ears as well as his actual hands to scale upward until he reached the top of the building he had been hiding behind until recently. He glances everywhere, forming a mental path for him to take along the rooftops and the power lines that would lead him that much closer to his destination.
Once he was confident in where he wanted to go, DJ springs into an excited sprint, bounding over the unsuspecting crowds of Japan as fast as his little legs could push him, following his trail somewhat haphazardly due to his lack of familiarity with this place, this 'Shee-Booyah'.
Heh. That sounded like the name of his next attack.
Eventually, the Musimon found his way toward the arcade's skylight fixture, a geometric window design made from a series of angular glass panels, and peeked inside to catch a glimpse of the place. DJ's eyes widen like dinner plates upon seeing a veritable wonderland of attractions, ranging from coin-operated rides to rows upon rows of video game cabinets and everything in between. It was exactly like Toy Town back home! But how was he going to get inside?
Between practically drooling all over the windows in excitement and deliberating on a strategy to infiltrate the arcade, the Musimon's bright blue eyes find themselves drawn to the direct source of the eerily familiar scent he had picked up earlier: that of a second Musimon--being reined in by some human child!
This looked like a rescue mission for Darwin Japan! Now, how the hell does he get inside this joint?

DJThough Musimon was disappointed by the lack of dancing to the super cool Music-- something probably even that onlooking Musimon nearby might notice, he continued on with Rei. Though his musical instincts were strong, he believed in Rei for his own well being. But it was just soooo tempting... Rei convinced them to play one of the fun old-school arcade games, Space Invaders which rewarded tickets on a special card. Using it, both Rei and Musimon competed against one another for a high score before the ships were able to blow up their fort. Once they wore out their thumbs-- or ears in Musimon's case-- they decided to try out the house of mirrors. "Why there?" Musimon asked, looking at the odd looking fun house. Rei smiled as she pointed to it. "Its a bit more empty-- so you can run around a little more, plus we don't have to worry about anyone spotting you. They probably will see too many of you." she said and took Musimon's ear again. "Come on. Lets give it a try." she encouraged. Though still hearing the music-dance machine in the background, he followed-- skipping to the beat while he went. Inside the house of mirrors. The inside was a lot more spacious than Musimon anticipated. The first hall was a series of mirrors that were warped and out of shape to make the looker seem bigger, smaller or just plain odd in shape. The next hall was a traditional maze-- showing multiple angles and plastic see-through walls to fool people . Rei looked around in amusement, enjoying the trick of the mind as she tried to follow her way through. And like she thought, not many other people were there, giving them moments of freedom to just walk around and enjoy themselves. But still, Musimon heard the sounds of the arcade game music-- and it made him tap his feet and twitch his ears with the melody.

Simply looking to the right proved effective enough for DJ that it revealed a point of entry he could access without too much trouble, one in the form of a doorway that inevitably led into a stairwell that winded down who knows how many floors. As he grinned with pride in his deductive skills, an audible whine of delight erupts from DJ's ear-speakers as he skipped his way to the metal portal, grabbed its handle, and turned it downward and pulled the slab of steel open to slip in unnoticed.
"Whoa. The acoustics in this place are totally dope," DJ whispers, hearing the soft echo of his voice while his eyes adjusted to the decrease in ambient lighting. When his vision cleared, the next objective was to follow the source of that seriously dank groove down the stairs.
His ear-speakers picked up a few hard buzzes here and there, paired with a fast-paced percussive beat that created a sense of excitement that pulled him ever closer to its origin. Wherever it was playing, it had to be super cool!
Thankfully, DJ hadn't bumped into any human resistance on the way down to the first floor, because he seriously didn't have any idea what he was doing.
It seemed as though sheer dumb luck paid off for the lapine Digimon, because a single leftward turn down the first hall he came across led him to another door. But, since the sign marking it was written in a language DJ couldn't read, he had no other choice but to trust his instincts and just roll with the beat on this one.
He slips into the Hall of Mirrors, unprepared for what awaits him upon his arrival.

DJEven from inside the hall of mirrors, the sound and music from outside still vibrated through the walls. One could even see small bits of the mirrors vibrate from the loud base. Rei looked around the maze, seeing the many variations of herself and Musimon when she looked at the lower ends. "Wow... Its been a long time since I been in one of these things," Rei said as she moved forward, keeping a hand lightly on one of the 'walls' to guide her. Musimon looked at the number of himself. "OOoooh! I'm a one-man sound crew, Yo!" he said with a hop and 'peace sign of his ears. "How is that any different from you now?" Rei asked from down the hall, "You command sound-- you probably could put on an entire symphony on your own." Musimon snorted at the idea and walked along the path... but the more he went, the more he saw multiple versions of himself. It was hard for him to follow Rei between the fake see-through walls, and the mirrors. Though it wasn't a dance and music game-- Musimon did enjoy seeing the maze of visual challenges. He walked around moving around one of the invisible walls... ... till he bumped into something behind him. He turned and saw another him. At first it looked like a mirror-- but it was too crisp of an image to tell. The Musimon looked back at himself curious and slowly began to move-- wondering if the image of him would do the same. Little did Musimon know it was in fact another him-- another Musimon! (OOC: Mimeing please? )

Color overwhelms DJ from every angle, and his sense of balance goes momentarily out the window as he falls to his rear end in dizziness. Not only that, he could see himself in a bunch of these weird, wavy-looking walls, and all of them made the Musimon appear in a variety of different ways.
If he had to describe how he felt, 'speechless' was about as close as DJ was going to get. Just what was this place, anyway? He carefully picks himself back up and brushes off his clothes, a few soft pops erupting from the speakers on the backs of his hands as though he were providing sound effects for his own, mundane activities. Which he totally wasn't. He was. Or was he?
Philosophical questions aside, DJ couldn't help but find himself transfixed to one of the fun house's oddly-shaped mirrors, seeing his tiny rabbit-shaped body stretched upward like it were made of rubber. Another mirror close by made him appear squat and chubby, prompting a half-humored chuckle from the adventurous Rookie. One even made both of his eyes look like they had melted together to become one, big, gigantic, monster-sized super-eyeball!
Then, DJ turned to his left to advance further into the mysterious building, and found his body pressing into something that weighed exactly the same as himself. It even looked like himself, too, only except he didn't have those weird effects over him. It? Wait a sec, now that he got to seeing it up close--
DJ leans forward somewhat, finding his movements perfectly matched. It was freaky enough to wonder if this was one of the more realistic fun-walls...

DJMusimon mimicked the same movements of the 'counterpart' in the mirror. Whenever it moved its arm, it did the same. When it moved its ears, so did the mirror image. Call it coincidence, luck or perhaps similar thinking-- the two Musimon were in complete sync with each other to the point they could mistake one another as parts of the house of mirrors. Musimon glared at the reflective one-- deciding to get a bit creative. He then raised his arms-- and did one of those ear-hand over head flips. As he landed, he used his ears to pull the ends of his lips apart-- making a silly, mocking face at his mirror image. This little game could go on a bit since both Musimon were so similar, right down to their personalities. Meanwhile, Rei had made it 3/4s to the end of the hall of mirrors-- now faced with the end of the maze and only thing left was this slide to ride down-- with a series of reflective mirrors that surrounded you on all sides, along with strobing lights. It looked like a seizure trap almost to her, but then she noticed a rather odd silence to her. Rei turned around and realized Musimon didn't catch up. Curious, she began to trace herself back to find him. "Musimon? Musimon-- Rhyme?" she called out softly-- using the nickname they agreed to use, despite that Musimon considered his own name-- well his name. Either way she went searching for her friend. She wanted to encourage her friend to have fun and even explore-- but she was so worried about losing Musimon. It was a big city, dangerous places-- and risk of Musimon taken away by mean adults if she wasn't careful. She worked hard to keep him a secret... but at times, she wanted her friend to do everything he wanted. It just was hard with so many people around.

What if...? DJ raised an arm-ear, and finds that the physical duplicate before him does the same. He moves an actual arm, and it does the same. Makes a silly face, the very same face gets made back at DJ. Their movements are, strangely enough, timed so perfectly to one another that it almost appears as if the two really were part of the fun house's illusory appeal.
A fast-paced snare rolls through DJ's own mind which elevates his heart rate in equal measure. It was a true moment of suspense for him, a battle of wits to determine whether this 'imitation' was really so. The lack of surrounding music makes the tension even thicker for him, which only worsened DJ's anxiety.
Then, a girl's voice calls out the name 'Musimon', and the squall in DJ's mind becomes a full-blown hurricane. Which one was she referring to!?
Wait, that's it! Only DJ had a unique name, and he even came up with it all by himself! I bet this faker doesn't have one of those bad boys, does he?
Then she calls out 'Rhyme'.
Digi-God dammit he's been spotted--wait! With a sharp vinyl scratch, the record in his mind comes to an abrupt stop. That wasn't DJ's name at all! Perhaps in a rather sporadic turn of events, he lets loose a sharp, piercing squeal from his ear-speakers, an auditory expression of the Musimon's anger at the approaching human's supposed lack of awareness.
"It's 'Dee-Jay'! Tha' name is Dee! Jay! Darwin! Mothafuckin' Japan! Geddit right, ya fillin' me!?" DJ literally swore at the top of his lungs, thankfully too far into the mirrored fun house for the sound to travel outward, but just loud enough to startle everyone else inside.
So much for that stealth mission.

DJ The outburst from the other Musimon made the game of mime end rather fast-- and when it did, Rhyme-- flinched at his outburst. One of the differences between them was clearly a sense of temper. It was then that Musimon raised his hand-ear and pointed at DJ. "AHA! I KNEW IT!" he cheered. "HAHA! I won-- wait..." It was then that Musimon hopped right up to DJ. "WOW, Another Musimon. NIce to meet you. Well you know me-- but I go by the name Rhyme!" It was at this time, Rei had turned the corner to where they were talking. "Musimon? What's going on? Who--?!" Rei stopped as she looked down-- just as Rhyme threw one of his arm-ears around the other in a friendly shoulder hug. Her eyes went wide as she felt stunned at what she saw. At first she did think her eyes were playing tricks on her with the hall of mirrors-- but it was soon clear. She saw TWO SEPARATE Musimon. "Wait... Another Musimon?" she gasped. Seeing Rei, Musimon perked up and did a fun little flip in the air. "Rei-chan! Look-look! Its my brotha from another motha-- YOOO!" he rhymed in a cheerful beat. Rhyme made the effort to smile. ONe Musimon was a handful-- two was overwhelming her poor brain. "OH boy... I need to sit down," she said and fell to her knees in exhaustion. Still, her kind smile remained. "Um... so I take it your name is DJ?" Rei asked, "I-I'm Rei. Nice to meet you, little guy. "

DJ was quick to ball his ear-hands into visible fists at his physical duplicate's petty display of pride in his supposed expertise in playing mind games with him, but the swift arrival of a spindly human girl in baggy clothes prevented the short-tempered lapine from throwing the first punch.
Fortunately for these two, DJ's hot-headed disposition was equally quick to dissolve back into its usual friendly overtones; he was a 'mon that preferred to live and let live, and the last thing he wanted to accomplish on his to-do list was the option to make a human child cry her eyes out by beating up what was clearly the only friend she had on her.
"Yeah, it's really Darwin Japan, but I just tell people ta call me 'DJ' cuz it's easier to remember." DJ shouts over the throbbing techno of the mirror house, shrugging with both his shoulders and his curiously expressive pair of hand-shaped ears.
It doesn't take DJ long to become distracted by the flashing lights and the pulsing beat of the music, stirring a desire to explore this strange new wonderland. "Is this place Toy Town or somethin'!? I didn't think you humans had one ah these!"

DJThe more Rei looked at the other Musimon, the more she became aware of his unique quirks that set him apart from Rhyme. Though they were identical and shared the same love of music, DJ had a bit of a temper hidden under his cheerful disposition. To call him the wrong name clearly was a very touchy subject, oppose to her Musimon who was more 'go with the flow'. If they were to be described as music, DJ would be more of hard-core beat bob while Rhyme was more smooth, catchy trance. He introduced himself as Darwin Japan, DJ for short. All the while, he seemed to tap and flinch at each beat of the music that was playing. It seemed Musimon had a built-in love of music that neither of them could deny. It was almost enough to make Rei giggle at the two and how cute they were together. "I never heard of 'Toy Town' before, " Rei commented, not familiar with it, "But this place is an arcade. There are many similar to this one all over Tokyo. Its a place people come to ride rides, play games, and have fun." she explained. Rhyme soon hopped up and gave a pleading look to Rei. "Now we just gotta go and play the other games now that we got a real out-of-towner here with us," he pleaded and hopped up and down like a bunny rabbit. "Can-we-can-we-please-please-please?" Rei sighed, realizing just how driven her partner was. "You know i'd love to let you have fun, but what if other people see you? What am I going to tell them if they see two strange bi-pedal bunnyrabits running around?" she asked. Part of her wanted to give them their fun, but she knew she had to keep Digimon a secret. "Besides, Rhyme, weren't you getting hungry?" "Bah-- I'm good," Rhyme denied with a touch look and raised up an ear-hand to wave a finger. "I feed on the airwaves. I thirst for the tempo. My meals are the melodies of the radio and---" Grrrrrrump! The sound of a grumbling tummy from Musimon silenced the talkative Digimon and made Rei give him a knowing look. "Looks like your stomach is the top hit of the day, Musimon." she commented with a smirk. "What about you, DJ? Are you hungry? IF you want to come home with us, I could give you something to eat." But neither Musimon would be easy to convince to go... especially since this place did have a food court as well.

DJ's jaw dropped at Rei's admission. How could she not have heard of Toy Town? It takes the yellow lapine a moment or two to remember that she wasn't a Digimon and therefore could never have possibly heard of the legendary wonderland.
Her description of the arcade's interior and the attractions within makes DJ raise a brow. "You sure you ain't ever heard ah Toy Town? Cuz that sounds an awful lot like Toy Town." Eh, whatever. It didn't really matter if she knew. The more important thing was that, based on what she was saying, there was a ton of fun shit here!
It also appeared that DJ's carbon Digi-clone Rhyme expressed the same ardor for wanting to explore this indoor world of musical amusement. But the stark contrast between the other Musimon and his human tag-along made DJ's head spin a little too much, even more so than the wavy mirrors did.
Food, music, video games, freakin' roller coasters—where the Digi-hell did they even know to begin?!

DJRei was trying to be the responsible one-- but two Musimons were one too many for her. If they both wanted to go off and cause trouble, how would she stop them? She, of course, was trying to coax them to go back home and offer them a good meal-- something Rhyme would have liked considering his growling tummy. Curious, she reached into her pocket to take out a kitty-themed wallet she had. She looked at the yen she had, and frowned not liking how much she had left-- she could afford a few slices of pizza from the food court. "If you guys want, we can have some food here-- but then we need to leave. If you guys get caught, how would we explain this to the adults?" she said with concern. But Musimon was a rebel too as he looked to DJ and gave a sly wink. Oh, did Rhyme love Rei-- but also knew Rei was too worried about being responsible and mature for her own age-- when any girl at the age of 11 should just have fun. "I'd like to hear more about Toy Town though," Rei said, "Maybe you can tell me at the food court-- but you guys have to be like stuffed animals so I can get you there." As Rei led the way towards the exit of the hall of mirrors-- Rhyme/Musimon chuckled to DJ. "Hey-- we should try to explore this place a bit more. I mean, do you really think humans would think the worst if they see us playing games?" he asked. When he wanted to, Musimon was a crafty, clever little imp who could turn the dullest of situations into a party. (OOC: Maybe you and Musimon can trick Rei and sneak away to play among the arcade)
