[attr="class","info_head"] THE ANSWER |
[break] [attr="class","info_text"] "Dammit, dammit, dammit, they aren't even concerned at all about our boy." A disgruntled Juro said, throwing his purple-colored Digivice into the wall in frustration. That Tenno had pissed him off for the last time, the next time he saw him, well, he was gonna show him a damned thing or two. Suddenly, the Nightmare leader's phone would begin to ring, indicating that he had just received a new text message. Upon looking at it, he would find an American area code, and a message from a certain Tamer involved in the tournament. The leader quickly grabbed his jacket, and rushed out the door of the locker room, forgetting his phone in the process.[break][break] "Yo, wassup boss?" A lone Nightmare mook would say to a fleeing Juro Konchu, who looked more determined than he ever had before. The low ranking gang member would enter the locker room, finding his boss's phone laying on a bench. It was really unlike him to be in such a rush, as the man was near legendary for being laid back. "Oh shit...oh shit! I gotta tell everyone about this!" The grunt took the phone, running off to tell every Nightmare member he could find to get ready to roll out - but not to help the Busters take down the Greymon incident.[break][break] "Hey, Bug Boy. You wanna know what happened to Kenshin? That was his name, right? I think I got a pointer for you, but you're gonna have to win it from me. I ain't letting that Tenno asshole rob me of another match."[break][break]
[break] From then on out, Nightmare members would run about telling each other about the incident in person, each and every one of them eager to go out and check out what's happening with Juro. They expected their leader would kick this guy's ass, and simply wanted to be there to cheer him on. "We can't leave our boss alone! Let's go help him kick this guy's ass!" Would be some of the things they would yell to each other. A couple Web Troopers would pick up on this, gaining interest in the new event, and deciding to tag along - and even help Nightmare figure out their boss's location. One of these Troopers was able to track Juro's Digivice signal to a quiet alleyway in the opposite direction of the rampaging Greymon, only a few blocks down. They would all hastily roll out, forming a small mob, rather than the organized task force the Busters sent out after Greymon.[break][break]
[break] "Ugh...no way...this dude is outta his mind...and way stronger than I thought." A defeated Juro would lay in the alley, being the first thing the mob would see upon arriving. He was badly beaten, his clothes ripped, wounds openly bleeding, and his partner reduced to an In-Training form. It was safe to say he was completely down for the count - and seeing how fast Nightmare organized to get to his location, it didn't take much time, either. "Boss! You okay?!" A member would quickly ask, going to his leader's side. "Fuck...dude, I'm fine, but we can't let him get away. Don't worry about me, follow him now!" The broken leader would say, some of his lacks ignoring his orders to stay behind and tend to his wounds.[break][break] The group that would run on ahead would find none other than Charlie Eagleheart washing his hands of blood, his Vemmon partner standing next to him ominously. His back was turned, but this alien comrade of his would instantly turn around, focusing his eye upon the mob with killer intent. "Well, well, well." The American Champion would speak, his back still turned away, "I guess they're right about what they say about bugs." He would turn around, cleaning his shades, before placing them cleanly back upon his nose. There were no injuries - all the blood was not from this man. "Squish one, and the whole hive comes out." The man sneered, his confidence still high even though his was greatly outnumbered. "I'm guessing you all want to know who killed your friend." The blonde smiled in an evil manner, showing a side of himself not seen before, "What if it was me? What would you do? What can you do?" Cracking his knuckles, both him and his partner would enter a battle stance, almost in perfect harmony. "Come on, punks! I'll beat ya'll at the same damn time!"[break]
[break] [ CHAPTER 02: THE ANSWER ] [break] - Nightmare, Web Troopers, Loners, and Solo Digimon may participate in this event. No NPC help will assist the team. Good luck! Additionally, this event cannot be joined if you are involved in Chapter 01: Supernova.
- There is no post order and no limit to the amount of players that can join this event - good luck!
- This event will use Challenge Mode rules, which will be explained below. Participating in this event means agreeing to those rules.
- Completion of the event will reward each player who wasn't eliminated from it (see below Challenge Mode rules) will be rewarded 700 Bytes and 2 points of Spirit - as well as a special exclusive card.
[break][break] [ CHALLENGE MODE: DOUBLE TROUBLE ] [break] - Charlie Eagleheart and Vemmon will begin the fight with a grouped HP of 1500. Each player that joins will not have a defined HP. After the duo is defeated, the event will move onto its second stage.
- Charlie Eagleheart and Vemmon will post every so often, indicating the ending and beginning of a new turn. Each player in this thread may post once every turn.
- Each player will have to roll at the end of their posts, which will signal how much damage they deal to Charlie and Vemmon's HP. When Charlie and Vemmon's HP reaches 0, then the event enters its second stage.
- Which each of its turns, Charlie and Vemmon will attack and roll 3 numbers. If players roll any of those numbers during the turn they were rolled, then they take enough damage from Charlie and Vemmon to eliminate them from the event, thus knocking them out and rendering them unable to post for the remainder of it. Additionally, any damage that they would deal from that roll is negated.
- Charlie will attempt to charge his Hyper Blaster Cannon with each of his posts. When it fires, he will roll 20 numbers rather than just 3.

[ TURN 1 ]
"Let's get this party started, punks!" Charlie would yell confidently, taking a single card from his deck of Digi-Modify and grinning at it. "You won't be able to handle this kind of firepower!" The card he had taken was none other than his signature Hyper Blaster Cannon, which would summon forth a large high-tech turret behind the man in shades. Upon the machine was a screen displaying three empty batteries. Anybody familiar with the card after watching the tournament matches would know it takes at least three turns to charge, but when it was finally charged, you didn't want to be anywhere near it. "Now Vemmon, eradicate these losers!" His partner instantly responded, as if they had years of experience with each other. "Yes sir. Electromagnetic Beam!" The alien would shout, then quickly producing a high-powered laser from his only eye, one that would go from left to right, damaging both sides of the alley and hopefully hitting as many Tamers as possible. Of all the things to stumble upon, they had to stumble upon Eagleheart after he beat up the supposed leader of the Nightmare gang. And of course, when Hideo heard from the gathering tamers (most of whom were Nightmare members) about what was going on, he insisted on trying to help him.
She just couldn't say no to him, but insisted that he stay as far away as possible. And by that, she meant that he stay outside of the alleyway, because it was about to become a warzone in here, and it'd severely reduced the chance that someone accidentally trampled over him. A bit risky, but she didn't exactly have any projectiles to shoot.
At least she wasn't the only one going to face them though. Plenty of other digimon were ready to face Eagleheart and his Vemmon. They'd provide excellent cover for her as she scurried ahead, weaving around them as she headed straight towards the enemy digimon, leaping forward to deliver her Data Leak bite.

You don't have to worry...
“I'll be there to save you.” Deck BS011 - Power Driver Raises the user's Strength by 10 points for 2 turns.
SC26 - Knockout Powder Summons forth a toxic dust over a single target, which has a tiny chance (must roll 90 or higher) of inflicting sleep.
BS026 - Bandage Cures the Digimon of Wound, but prevents any attacks other than basic from being used for fear of straining their body.
BS030 - Feather Fall Grants the Digimon a resistance to fall damage for 3 turns, allowing them to easily keep their footing even from long drops.
BS034 - Board Reset Resets the battlefield to what it was before the beginning of the fight, repairing structural damage and instantly removing any weather or terrain effects active.
BS039 - Expansion Expands the Digimon's to 10 times their original size. While offering increased size, it does not affect their actual strength. Lasts for 3 turns.
BS043 - Element Chameleon Shifts a single resist/weakness/null of a target Digimon to a chosen affinity (except Absolute). Lasts for 5 turns. BS059 - Fifth Rush Hackmon's signature attack. The user attacks with metallic claws, attempting to claw the foe to shreds. Deals low Metal damage and has a low chance of inflicting Wound for 2 turns. BS066 - Justice Blaster W Part of the Digimon's body or limb is turned into a giant gun barrel similar to Deputymon. It is capable of firing large metal bullets with surprising accuracy. Inflicts moderate Metal damage but only has two shots. Fades away after 3 turns. BS080 - Wild Card A card with no set effect, it capable of mimicking any card in the game, though it is a mystery as to what it will mimic. On use, staff will generate a card, this card's effect becoming that card. Tag a staff member when you use this IC. BS085 - Nova Flame Greymon's signature attack. The user launches explosive ball of fire, dealing moderate Fire damage to the target and low Fire damage to anything nearby as splash damage. BS127 - Metal Wolf Claw MetalGarurumon's signature attack. Spew a vapour of air at absolute zero, dealing heavy Water damage in melee range at every direction. Enemies weak to Water will be Frozen for three turns. BS131 - Optimize Discard 3 cards from your deck. Regain 2 card swipes for the thread. BS131 - Optimize Discard 3 cards from your deck. Regain 2 card swipes for the thread. BS134 - Berenjena W The user equips Beelzemon's ferocious shotgun. It only possesses two rounds, after the use of which it will immediately dissipate, but each shell deals heavy Dark damage. The resultant explosion deals Dark damage to adjacent targets. Digimon only. A sigh of relief.
That was how she had felt, upon seeing her bets for the last round, had actually come through. The winnings was quite similar to the first, and a sight she was happy with.
But who wouldn't be? Deciding to bet on someone like the Shinjuku Buster's leader, was rather safe, with how popular the man was, when it came to reputation.
She had no doubt the man would have lasted at least until the third round of the tournament, knowing he wasn't likely to be outbeat, as the host of the event.
What was surprising to see, was that Daichi Kumo fellow, who although did pack quite the power, wasn't really someone she was fully sure would be beaten.
The Nightmare he had been up against, might have came off like a rookie, but surprises did happen.
Much like the alert Masaru had sent to the Tamers network, about one of the competitors dying.
It was tragic, and a sight which she was thankful the Terriermon had been too busy eating, to go and pay attention to what had popped up on her phone.
Quickly scrolling past enough to hide it, the messages that came through involved so many people.
The much more notable ones, had been both the favored combatants of the tournament, and several of those who were considered to be underdogs.
Even regular guests of the events by the sound of it, had gone and shown up. A majority were sympathetic to the event, to the point where they wanted a witch hunt.
There was just so much conflict around, and people spiting the man who was hosting the event in the first place. A sight she very much disliked seeing.
She knew full well that the man wasn't perfect. That he could have been less blunt about his feelings on the matter, rather than just go on and dismiss things.
But both sides involved with trying to pull themselves into affairs like who had murdered that guy, just wasn't the kind of business they were well prepared for.
Things that they shouldn't have to even worry as guests. It was disturbing to know what happened, but nothing they couldn't have just gone and brushed off.
She had stopped looking at the messages, some time ago, although kept herself logged in, to read them later.
At least, assuming one of her fellow Web Troopers, for whatever reason, wouldn't decide to just erase the chat.
She had tried to settle back into the affairs she had came here to experience, which with the Terriermon around, wasn't quite as difficult as it felt.
The Digimon was a bit of a messy eater, and bits of sauce from the yakiniku was around its mouth.
She had carefully wiped it, caressing its bit of chubby cheeks, which had only turned to her scratching the back of its head. The Digimon leaning into it was too endearing. It wouldn't take much to picture that face.
Betting on the semi-finals hadn't taken much long, and she had chosen to solely bet on the Nightmare leader.
He seemed rather too passionate, from the responses he gave to Tenno, not to have gone for him.
So she had waited around this area, until it was almost time to leave, which her Terriermon's hunger would be the one to decide, just when would be enough.
The loudspeakers suddenly blaring however, and the voice of Tenno speaking through it, made an eyebrow raise, as she had picked out the word threat.
Reflexively, her hands had moved towards the case in her jeans, which contained both the deck that she had, and the digivice that made them much more useful.
She was already sorting through the cards, as the man had went on to explain the threat was a Greymon, which she recalled she had one of the Digimon's attacks.
Cards were shuffled around and fanned out, while from the corner of her eye, the Terriermon looked between her and where everyone else had seemed to be.
"Is this Digimon upset?"
"Yes, little one. Though I'm not too sure if we'll face him."
Fanning back together a stack of cards she believed would prove to be beneficial, in the case that they were attacked while evacuating, she had placed the rest of her deck away, and took the Terriermon straight into her arms. They weren't supposed to be apart of this.
She didn't want them to be apart of this. But life just seemed to have other plans. As she walked away from the area, and made her way through the crowd, she could hear the faint sound of static, which seemed ever so loud when it had the chance to go shine.
Pulling out where it seemed to be coming from, a message had came from the device, whose voice must have been their leaders. The news was as pleasant as the Shinjuku Buster's own, and was cut off before their order could be finished. Mobilization where?
She knew it was to gather together, but if it was to fight against that thing, maybe this should have been an order she would refuse for once. Not if it meant having to put her Terriermon into danger it wasn't ready for.
"Fight?"
Her Digimon speaking out once again, as they continued to move through, only reminded her of when she had met that blonde duo. It wasn't an easy feeling, and she found the image of that dead guy, suddenly coming to mind. She didn't respond to the Terriermon.
Not because she didn't want to, but rather because something had caught her eye. Or really, rather someone. Members of the Nightmares seemed to be storming out in mobs, faces looking worried.
Though in a way that was rather significant, as their expressions had that pissed off look to it. She was already wearing her gas mask, and camo uniform, not really taking it off except for a few instances.
These guys didn't seem like they were heading towards where the Busters and others seemed to be, so maybe it was a better idea to follow them around.
Doing so had proven to be rather interesting, and revealing just how disorganized the people could be. But she hadn't been questioned at all, and some of them seemed actually glad to have her around.
Eventually they had stopped, and she had lied witness to the U.S. Champion, apparently having attacked the leader of the Nightmares. But something had to have been off with this guy, to have done this.
Drugs maybe? She wasn't quite sure. All she knew, was that the Terriermon's wish was going to be answered, as she placed the Digimon down onto the ground.
"Okay, we'll do this."
She had finally answered the Terriermon, pulling out the card she knew would likely prove to be useful.
Digimodify.
"Metal Wolf Claw!"
Scanning the card into the digivice, as the Terriermon had ran out, its mouth had shined, before the Digimon had spewed out a vapor of beyond cold air, in hopes of being able to go and hit the enemy Digimon.
She wasn't above trying to freeze the guy too.

Haru was just among part of the crowd to start to flock towards the area. Most were Nightmare grunts, but that didn't stop her from joining the call as well. While she hated to just leave the situation at the tower with the Greymon, someone's life may had been at stake. By the time everyone has arrived, the shock to see a bruised and battered Juro Konchu was enough to both put fear... and rage into the hearts of many there. Rage directed to the smug bag of american flesh. Haru was not one to normally be angered... but this pointless waste of precious human life? Even for someone like her, this was beyond forgiveable. The normally cheerful gogglehead-wearing girl could not help but snap at the smug Charlie Eagleheart alongside plenty of others. "How could you!? Is winning some stupid tournament that important to you that you are willing to take someone's life to do so!?" She spat out with a bitter bile in her tone, absolutely infuriated; her partner giving an equally venomous glare. This wasn't about some tournament or gang wars at this point. This was about trying to stop a killer from adding more to his headcount. Haru was quick to pull out a card and slash one of her cards, specifically the Wing Blade card. Tawna acted appropriately, the Plotmon bellowing out a burst of fast-moving wind that shifted into the form of a blade; aiming at Charlie's Vemmon.

It was hard to believe it would be Eagleheart; he didn't know what to believe, except the fighters of his own faction. He joined the scuffle only slightly late, vaulting over a dumpster as he headed deeper into the alley and towards the commotion. His blackagumon, Taki, kept pace like a shadow at his heels. Many faces, several familiar, others not, Rukia—it was good to know all the outrage that he had read in the device in his hand had translated to something real. Post by Toshiro Emiya on Sept 19, 2017 2:49:11 GMT
Shit was hitting the fan harder than he had expected. Or hoped.
The leader of the nightmares, a man that had seemed larger than life and damn near invincible on the arena, had apparently been taken down before he could even lay a finger on the actual, apparent murderer.
Standing besides the leader of the Nightmares, watching as the members of the gang rushed to catch up to the person who had killed their comrade and damaged their leader's pride, Toshiro couldn't help but wonder what to do.
Charlie Eagleheart. Talk about unexpected.
"Fuck, and I bet on him, too." That hadto be bad karma for sure.
"Well mate," He began as he spoke to Konshu, turning on his heel. "You were amazing at the tournament. I'm really sorry about what happened to your subordinate. I'm gonna leave now tho, I've got no digimon to help with."
He said this, yet, his Digivice throbbed in his hoodie's pocket, screen flashing red. It was the first time he was THIS close to the action, and his digivice didn't seem to be liking it at all.
KoKabuterimon could feel a disturbance in the core. Rather, it felt as if something was calling to him. He hadn't felt this... since he met his shit tamer.
Should he even heed it? It wasn't like that dumb blonde gave a crap...
He could be in danger, however.
"Why do I have to be the one who cares?" He mumbled to himself as he began to turn on his heel, his body almost directing itself towards the signal like a compass. The buster tower could be seen towering over the rest. He had been sticking to roof tops for the most part, his experience down in the sidewalk none too pleasant.
Still, it would be quite the trek.
He began to run.
Toshiro was about to do like any smart person would, and get the fuck out.
Until he saw a very familiar child and his spider run into the fray.
"Huh." What a curious sight. He could have sworn that child was Hideo, which made absolutely no sense as there was no way Kuki would let the boy anywhere near-
"Hideo." He muttered as realization hit him. Yes, that was, indeed, Hideo standing by the alleyway while his partner entered the fray.
With a sense of calm that really didn't fit in what amounted to a combat zone, the young man turned on his heel once again, walking towards the boy until he there was only 5 feet of distance between them.
"Yo, Hideo." He greeted the boy in the same manner as the first time they met. He then peeked into the alleyway. Lasers galore and people falling left and right. He thought he could recognize some of the people fighting.
"Gogglehead too, huh?" He muttered, turning his gaze back to Hideo. "What are you doing here, Hideo? There's no way Kuki agreed to this."
Then again, she seemed to concede to Hideo's wishes where it mattered.
"You are a very nice kid, Hideo." He muttered, rubbing at the back of his neck as he turned his gaze up to the sky. What to do, what to do.
He could abandon most of these people without thinking too much about it.
Hideo wasn't most of these people though. Haru herself, little as he knew her, had a face and a name in his mind; he couldn't just ignore her when she was right in front of him.
It was a pity, too. He had pretty much lied to both of their faces about his status as a tamer. He had mistreated KoKabuterimon quite a lot too over his supposed desire to stay out.
And now that shit was actually hitting the fan, all it took was two familiar faces to get him to put his neck on the line.
"Welp. Mistakes were made." He said as he patted Hideo's head, before walking around the corner and entering into the fray that had become the alleyway.
Reaching into his hoodie pocket, the young man extracted the black and gold digivice, the screen still flashing red, showing a moving dot on some sort of map.
Was that...? No. Why would he bother to come to his aid? There was no incentive to do so.
He couldn't think too much about it. Problems were right in front of him.
'Well... here goes nothing.' He pulled a card out of his jean pocket, shrugging his shoulders at the picture of a Naginata emblazoned onto the surface.
Eh. It'll do.
Card Slash.
A Naginata puffed into existence out of a cartoonish blast of smoke, rotating in place swiftly and without stopping. The blonde blinked at the weapon. It didn't seem to be stopping any time soon.
His hand reached for it, the weapon seemingly slowing down for him to grasp it by the pole, bringing its length to rest onto his shoulder. His gaze centered on Eagleheart, ignoring the digimon in the way. He began walking towards them.
Digimon were dependent on their tamers, right?
"Hey Chuck!" He shouted, "I bet you aren't even a real american. Get your ass back to Canada."
His walk turned into a charge, foot stomping as he moved towards the man. He hadn't ever wielded a Naginata in his life, but it was essentially just a single edge spear. He poised the weapon to ram into the man's chest.

There were very rare occasions that his actual phone number got texted by other nightmare members. Usually they'd be communicating very differently given not everyone was tight like that. This was urgent though, not something you can just ignore, real shit popping off. As soon as Kimura got there, it certainly wasn't a pretty situation. Crazy American bastard going all out with his digimon on the streets, pretty sure he was one of the tournament contestants too. Great, now it wasn't only that buster security was bad, but they didn't do any fucking background checks. You're kidding, right? That was a story for another day though, this should be dealt with here and now.
He could see several of his teammates doing their best out there while others took the hit rather quickly. Not everyone there was from nightmare, but their help wouldn't go unappreciated. First things first, make sure anyone who's unconscious isn't still in the area. Didn't need any more causalities because of this asshole going rogue. Even managed to get Masaru, putting him on his shoulders and laying him down around a wall by the corner. Out of sight, out of mind. Kimura couldn't really think of many ways to deal with this-- he was still away from his digimon at this time due to precautions.
Time to do what nightmare did best, insanely risky moves with high payoff. Taking a deep breath to calm his nerves, Kimura went full out in a sprint, not going towards the Vemmon as he blasted off his beam. Instead, his aim was to take out the man calling the shots, running straight for him and avoiding his digimon entirely. Once he got into range, the young man leaped in an attempt to catch him off guard with a strong punch. Cocking his hand back all the way to his shoulder, as his momentum continued toward the US champ, he'd fire off his fist straight for the face. Hopefully, his gambit wasn't for naught and he'd manage to take this asshole down a peg in a good, old fashioned fist fight.

❧
rosaline forced herself to partake in this battle - ignoring that urge to empty the contents of her stomach and return to the safe and secured confines of her home. she instead situated herself upon shaky legs, her mind attempting to grasp the situation as a whole. far too much was happening at once - raw discord having resulted in the appearance of a greymon and 'charlie eagleheart's' ambiguous intentions. she looked to berry for support, soothed by the familiarity of its presence as it forced itself to accompany her despite the apparent danger. "we're going to help - as much as we can," she said, a huskiness present in her voice. she steeled herself, standing alongside fellow tamers as she eyed their target. it was likely the digital pair possessed a great power and would prove difficult to handle. "berry," she said. "go." the order was simple, granting the tsukaimon permission to join its fellow digital beasts. " putrid fog!" a burst of foul gas took leave of the flight-capable mammal, the recoil alone causing it to roll somewhat clumsily within the air. [ PUTRID FOG - belches a burst of foul-smelling gas from its maw that is capable of hitting a single target. the flying clump of dizzying toxin is capable of inflicting tiny dark-affiliated damage to an opponent if it proves successful. there is a tiny chance of it inflicting the status effect of stun [ 90 roll - higher ]. if an opponent is inflicted with this particular brand of misfortune it will last for only a single turn. ] 1 - SC25 - DEEP TENDRILS
Summons forth a collection of blackened tentacles, which have a tiny chance (must roll 90 or higher) of gripping a single target and inflicting Root.
2 - BS031 - MASS ACCELERATOR
Grants the Digimon immunity to being knocked down for 3 turns.
3 - BS033 - BLINK
Grants one Digimon a single instantaneous teleport with a range of up to 5 meters as a free action.
4 - BS083 - BARRIER
Grants the Digimon a single strong, but fragile barrier that completely negates a single incoming attack before shattering. Lasts for a single turn.
5 - BS122 - CELESTIAL ARROW
Angewomon's signature attack. Launch a spear of moderate Light damage at an enemy. Inflicts Virus-attribute Digimon with Fear for three turns if it connects.
6 - BS025 - HEATING REGULATOR
Cures the Digimon of Freeze and Chill. If used by the user while under Burn, they will be inflicted with the status for an additional turn.
7 - BS094 - BIYOMON S
Summons one Biyomon that knows Talon Twister (deals tiny Wind damage to up to three targets) for 2 turns. The Digimon fades away at the end of the duration.
8 - BS098 - PATAMON S
Summons one Patamon that knows Breeze Blaster (deals tiny Wind damage to one target and a low chance to decrease Dexterity by 5 for 2 turns). The Digimon fades away at the end of the duration.
9 - BS116 - GIGA BLASTER
MetalGreymon's signature attack. Rain six explosive, non-homing missiles down on an area of the battlefield, each dealing low Fire damage. Direct hits inflict Burn, and leaves fire as an environmental hazard for the remainder of the battle.
10 - BS013 - BRAINS DRIVER
Raises the user's Intellect by 10 points for 2 turns.
11 - BS043 - ELEMENT CHAMELEON
Shifts a single resist/weakness/null of a target Digimon to a chosen affinity (except Absolute). Lasts for 5 turns.
12 - BS051 - PUPPY HOWL
Salamon's signature attack. The user releases out a high-pitched scream, dealing tiny Light damage in a cone of 20ft with a moderate chance to Stun for 1 turn.
13 - BS134 - BERENJENA W
The user equips Beelzemon's ferocious shotgun. It only possesses two rounds, after the use of which it will immediately dissipate, but each shell deals heavy Dark damage. The resultant explosion deals Dark damage to adjacent targets. Digimon only.
14 - BS090 - ELECTRO SHOCKER
Kabuterimon's signature attack. The user attacks by launching giant ball of plasma to electrocute the foe. Inflicts moderate Thunder damage and has a moderate chance to Stun the foe for 1 turn.
15 - BS101 - HOLY RING A
The Digimon gains a Holy Ring, commonly seen on many angelic or holy Digimon. The user gains a nullification to Light attacks and immunity to Curse status effects, their base affinity becoming Light. Masuta was determined to absorb some data here. With all the digimon around, it was foolish not to take advantage. And the incident before them was certainly interesting. Apparently one of the tournament competitors had committed a crime, and was now engaged in a battle with multiple tamers. The man's partner, another Vemmon, was holding its own surprisingly well, doing a surprising amount of damage to his enemies. But they didn't seem to have been noticed. "Think of the data that digimon has! Let's move in, before he notices us!" "I-I don't know Masuta," Hisan'na stammered. "Just shut up and card me!" Hisan'na flinched and swiped a card. A rather ornate lance, glowing with power, appeared in Masuta's hand. "Good."He waited until the Vemmon was looking away from them, before he lunged out, intent on taking him by surprise. Well, shit had gotten real super fast. Kasumi didn't even know why she had decided to play detective, or why she had taken notice to those messages in Encrtype. It wasn't her nature to follow on rumors people spread like retweets, but still... there she was, staring at a dude that looked a lot like the one who had tried to kill Mirrormon moments ago, just along the dude who was supposedly a good guy threatening to kill everyone, and in fact, daring the tamers present to stop him. The redhead may have been many things, but she certainly wasn't a coward, and what this Charlie guy was about to do looked like something that could come back and bite her in the ass if she didn't stop it. So, she stared at Mirrormon, who just stared back at her. Words weren't needed before the digimon floated onwards to begin his assault on the Vemmon, just as the teenager herself slashed a card. It probably was too soon for this business, but their entrance had to have some flair, right? Now... she probably would've worked something else if she had noticed that she actually... knew some of the other fighters. Oh well.

[ TURN 2 ]
BATTERY CHARGE 1/3 1208/1500
"That's not gonna work on me, kid!" The American sneered, grabbing the other end of the naginata that Toshiro Emiya attempted to thrust into his chest. He would then twist the weapon downwards, in a strong attempt to disarm the kid of his weapon and leave him laying flat on the ground. "Allow me to introduce you to a real weapon." Charlie spoke, reaching into his jacket to pull forth a small silver object with both a trigger and a barrel. He would point this object at the kid's head, but was quickly blindsided by a punch from Kimura Kyōryoku , causing him to fire at the wall, rather than the other Tamer. "You goddamn punk." Charlie would say angrily, his previous snide behavior seemingly dropped. "You wanna go? Fine by me. But ain't nobody else here getting involved." The man in the flag bandana would take out a single card from his deck, then swiping it. The effects took place right away, creating a large field of energy around both himself and the Tamer that had came to assault him physically. "Better tell your friends to lay off. This card right here is called Rebound Field A, and will cause any ranged attack sent at it right back at the person who fired it." Without further delay, the American entered a loose boxing stance, and went for a straight punch at Kimura's face. Hc4JcWTb Meanwhile, Vemmon continued to deal with the force of Nightmare crooks and lone Tamers that flooded the alleyway, clearly not concerned about being outnumbered. "You all are of no challenge to me. Simple nuisances in my way. Hardly worth my ammo." The alien spoke through a cold cybernetic voice, then opening up several compartments located all over his body, revealing more guns than he had initially shown. "Eradication imminent. Cyber Eraser!" It shouted, each and every gun on its body firing forth a powerful laser blast, raining hell upon the group that had come to defeat him.
• Charlie Eagleheart himself cannot be damaged by ranged attacks at this time, and is currently locked in combat with Kimura Kyōryoku. Kimura Kyōryoku's rolls are now different. Charlie will roll in the middle of his post, and Kimura will have to roll against it. The winner will deal one point of damage to the other. Both Charlie and Kimura have three points of life before the fist fight is over. If Kimura wins, he will inflict 1000 points of damage to Charlie's HP. If Charlie wins, Kimura will be eliminated. • The lethal numbers have changed for this turn.

[attr="class","life"] ❝ I just want a quiet life But I just wanna knock it all down. [attr="class","les"] K imura. Puny human gods bless him. For all his bravado, for all his posturing, for all his funny plants, he didn't strut about without proving he could. Confidence. Good looks. Everything this bird had. Though Kimura knew all these things, he made no show of it besides to get what he wanted. The women he wanted. The money he wanted. The power he wanted. But more than that, he could defend the people he wanted. Charlie felt...focused. Inspired. His feathers were ruffled in the deep-seeded aggravation towards not being able to swat down that foolish blondie fruitcake, but he simply laughed from a short distance away. It was more like squawking in a maniac fashion, and it was just as grating as it always was. "Brere's a differaaaaw bretween gun aaaaaaaand frawst!" The lightshow fell about him, but there he was, sliding on his stomach like a bullet himself. He was his own projectile. He could feel that sting of rampant blasts, but up he popped like he always did, always a surprise. And that grime-covered belly was what he threw, mouth undulating like some Arabic king.
